Soviet Trasa

Soviet Trasa, run by a small party of Middle-aged-old men who are arrogant and prideful, this would soon cause the downfall of one of their greatest cities...And open the door in their mind to the realities of death and poor research...
Kerara City, population: 500,000
City Type: Commercial/Residence
Products/Primary Research Focus: Medical Technology, Healthcare, Computer Technology, Pharmacuticals and Genetic Research.
Date: Augest 23rd, 2007.
The city of Kerara was founded upon request of the Trasian Communist Party, or TCP, it was to be a city for Medical Research and the symbol of Trasa's great Research capabilities, however, their own arrogance and failure to follow safety procedures cost them greatly, during experimentation with a strain of Virus that was deadly to Humans and had the side-effects of "rebooting" the lower functions of the brain, containment was breached and the virus was spread into the water supply of the city, all those who had a drink of water died a painful and horrible death, the hospitals were overwealmed by the sick and dying who had come seeking assistance, however, their confusion soon turned into outright panic, for merely hours after they died the virus became completely active, restoring the lower functions of the body such as walking and eating, it also increased aggression of the subject and made them crave human blood in some strange effort to replenish their own coagulated supply...In short...They became the Walking Dead...
Which now brings us to Sgt Nick Malaoni, a hardened veteran of the Trasian Security Division (The Army), he was a middle-aged man, standing at 5.11, medium build, greying hair which still has some of it's natural black in it, he was currently holed up in an boarded up house, a AK-74 clutched in his hands, the house was to put it bluntly a mess, chairs and anything heavy where stacked up near the doors to hold the 'Zombies' as he called them at bay.
He was garbed in his normal Dark Green Camo, he had lost his helmet shortly after being deployed here by the TSD with several squads in an attempt to control the outbreak, however they where unprepared for the hoards of undead that swarmed their position, the squads scattered to the four winds, trying to locate survivors and get out of the city, Nick scoffed as he shook his head, what a waste of manpower, still, the TSD did not wish to destroy the city, it presented too great of an opportunity, for the undead posed a great research opportunity and good targets for 'Training Missions' for the Black Guard, the best of the best, Commando's basically, he suddenly heard banging on the door, raising his AK-74 towards the door he prepared himself, hearing a low moan his breath quickened slightly, he knew they were out there, and they knew he was in here...These things where relentless...
They had already slaughtered 300 out of the 400 Soldiers sent in, the other 100 where scattered in the large city, most of them in the Northern Sector near the Original Dropzone, it was the Hospital Disctrict, where the Doctors, Nurses, Medical Techs and such lived and worked, the Star Watcher Memorial Hospital was the largest hospital in that disctrict, capable of housing acouple thousand patients....
He sighed as he realized none of them would get out of the city, the Black Guard had walled the area around the city and had orders to shoot on sight...He got a stick of Beef Jerky from his pocket and munched on it as he waited for the door to give away...It sucked being in the TSD sometimes...
