Basically:
1. You post here, expressing some sort of interest to participate.
2. You post in the IC thread, however you like - it should have no reference to the events described in the first post. More like a setting-the-stage, "it was a day like any other day" post.
3. Something strange, wonderful, terrifying, cryptic, enlightening, obfuscating, etc (choose any combination) appears in your nation. How you deal with this shard of the shattered Clanker Republic is up to you.
4. We take it from there.
I'm not planning for this to become a "invasion" or "war" RP, although some of the incursions will surely be dangerous in their own way. So keep an open mind, make the first post, and watch what happens. ;)

So:
Is everyone else too busy? Or just not interested? Or do I need to be a big name in RP in order to get anyone to post here? I really don't want to have to switch to II. :/
