OOC: Nobel Prize, NS style
Who would be intrested in doing an NS Nobel Prize? Anyone, can inclued the current awards for physics, chemistry, literature, peace, physiology or medicine and economics, but we could throw in other categories too. So any takers?

I'm not sure it would work out well, multiple nations could claim the simultaneous or 'first' invention of pretty much any technology/idea/theory etc... there could be disputes and arguments.
I think it could work. I mean obviously we can't lay stake to RL claims like the discovery of DNA but more orginal things we can do

Literature and Peace have real possibilities, as in either case one has only to write a really good story (or in the case of Peace, point to a pre-existing RP where a character did something that would warrant the Peace Prize) that would be judged on its merits.

Physics, chemistry, and physiology/medicine on the other hand are too complex tech wise. Debates would just degenerate into OOC techno-babble and, given NS's differing tech levels (anachronisms for instance are very common) and differing physiological realities (magic), force tech level limitations on who can and cannot enter the competition.

This sounds interresting and i would like to help.
Boy if there's anything I hate more it's segerating the tech levels in a very general RP like this. But your right and I might not have a choice but to make it strictly MT. Unless I give licence to other tech nations to do a Nobel Prize of their tech level (ex Nobel Prize-FT)
