SportsChannel: International 24h Sports Channel

Oliverry

Bored of those classic national channels trying to bring sports at home between shows such as "The Amazing Race", "[Enter nationality here] Idol" or "Deal or No Deal"? Well, SportsChannel, established in Oliverry for 40 years, is now going international. Recently, it has been the official English broadcaster of the Oliverrian World Cup games, the OHL, the Première Ligue de Soccer Froggy Beer and the Oliverrian Football League. It also broadcasted the integral AOCAF and the knockout phases of the World Cup in Oliverry.

As well, SportsChannel is an uncomparable source for news. Each day, it broadcasts many shows called "SportsNews", which relates everything important that happened in the world of Sports, be it an important win in a domestic league, or an important signing, etc.

For now, SportsChannel will be primarily Oliverrian. But, as nations begin to add SportsChannel to their list of available channels, some lattitude and some events from those nations might be added. For example, SportsNews might be devoluted to national studios instead of the Marshalliston studios, making the news show talking more about the national happenings in sports, rather than international. Other shows will be presented internationally, as nations will want their hockey/soccer/football/etc league to have atleast 1 game broadcasted per week on the channel.

So, experience SportsChannel. The true and only TV Station reserved only for... Sports!

For those interested, here's a picture of a "Coming up next..." screen for SportsChannel (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v338/Oli55/ComingUpNextScreenSportsCha.png)

SportsChannel? in Bazalonia?

Why? that was the question many Bazalonians where asking themselves but the BazSports TV network filled the nations sporting niche well, not that the government would stop them coming, but really, any other channel would pale into insignificance, and Ice Hockey?! Who in Bazalonia would want to watcg Oliverrian Ice Hocky... Field Hockey is another matter but BazSports covers that too.

Go on, but given that our local sports are quite well-covered by NSN, NSN2, NSN The Hockey Channel, and KBC Sports, all-foreign-content is fine by us.
