2) How are the broadcasts financed?

Thanking you in advance.
Brutland and Norden
01-02-2007, 07:21
Greetings!

The Kingdom of Brutland and Norden would welcome receiving news and shows from our neighbor in the region. As one of our provinces passed a law requiring that 80% of the broadcasts be in our own language, we are requesting for shows in Nord-Brutlandese. However, if this cannot be done, we are asking permission to dub these shows just like we do for other foreign broadcasting companies. CBC will be assigned a broadcasting frequency of 170 MHz VHF (Channel 7).

Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing your shows.

I am sure room can be made by our cable and satellite providers for the CBC. However, if you plan on airing any pornography, you will likely have to speak with our pornography minister (yes, we have one) and with Cluichstani Private Entertainment Services Ltd. (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Antarctic_Paradise/index.php?showtopic=23), which holds a state-sanctioned monopoly on pornography in our nation.

To: Michael Dietrich, CEO CBC Broadcasting

Mr. Dietrich,

The current government of the newly founded Republic of Tatertotia is in its infancy as of yet, and we would appreciate the assistance of the CBC Broadcasting Company to enable broadcasting of your channel into the homes of our citizens. As the English language is a priority in the cirriculum of both primary and secondary education, programming in English with some shows dubbed into the native Tatertotian language would suit the viewing needs of our nation very well.

We would prefer however that the bulk of the adverstising be sponsored by local government as private enterprise is, as yet, illegal, and we would prefer to use those time slots for public service announcements and the like. Although of course we will certainly pay the usual rate for those commercial air times.

Thank you very much in advance for considering our requests, and our Department of the Interior, Media, and Entertainment will be in touch with your office to set up arrangements for installation of equipment, signing of legal contracts, and so forth.

Warm Regards,

The People of the Republic of Tatertotia
