While some of the Execs were not present, off on important business matters, most were present. The others were linked in to the office so they could still participate in the meeting.
Finally it was time to begin. Co-CEO Victor Simber stood up and walked up to the front.
"This year has been a very profitable one for Phoenix Corp. We have seen many inroads with our new acquisitions in Allanea, as well as expanded trade via the Machiavelli Station.
As many of you know now that the station is complete we have need of another Trade Hub, between Machiavelli and Mars. I have spoken briefly with some representatives in the Jupiter System and they have been open to a meeting to discuss the possibility of setting up a new Casino/Trade Hub on Amalthea.
Jupiter is a relatively peaceful sector of the Solar System and we should stand to profit greatly if we work closely with our neighbors in Tiburon on this project. We have also contacted the Spacers Guild, as they also own part of the moon and we would be setting up an orbital facility.
If we are all in agreement then we will send out a delegation to negotiate the details so we can get started...
Pilonese Diplomatic Craft Hudson en route to Amalthea
The small Diplomatic Vessel resembled a Manta Ray, like all ships in its class. On board was a small delegation of Phoenix Corp representatives and an Elwyn, a genetically modified female Elf, trained in the art of Diplomacy.
As they approached Amalthea a simple message was broadcast.
"This is Pilonese Diplomatic Vessel Hudson requesting permission to meet with representatives from the Spacers Guild and Tiburon regarding the previsouly discussed Pilonese Trade Hub in orbit over your moon."
