The Wentland crew was satisfied with their first run; best time of all and still room for improvement. Looking good.

"Well, you might be waiting a long time for our second run..."

True to their word, the Wentland team refused to turn up for the second run and were peremptorily disqualified. Although bob captain Trellis was amused to see they were still ranked fourth, thanks to a convoluted scoring system that meant only 2 runs counted. How that was worked, however, he could only guess, given that the lowest scores were discounted but not the highest, despite the organizers' press releases.
