OOC: Actually, simply ignore this. I was under the impression that the fighting would be done in a seperate thread or threads. So. Um. Nevermind this, nothing to see here, just move along.

The Reich is a very closed society to say the least. Closed means not open, noone is let in and noone is let out. One way to survive doing that is to have a big enough inner market since most nations refuse to trade with The Reich, other ways is to grab what they need through dodgy anarchist proxy states, such as Syskeyia and Bigtopia.

To stay "independant and proud" The Reich has over the years developed a magnificent defence network ubilt not only to defend from attacks from land or air but also from space. This has been supported by several of the nations who are among the most prominent in Information Technology mixed with a fanatic paranoia and armies that would have drained the nations of funds if it wasn't because of the nature of dictatorship.

The Admiral of the huge StreiteKräfte was both amused and confounded when he saw four satellites closing in on what is called ReichSpace and has been kept clean not only from possible threats but also from as many spysats as possible could be. The Reich has been threatened by many nations over the year for shooting down supposedly innocent weather satellites crossing the ReichSpace but have never bother with the protests. The admiral was doubly confounded by the fact that the scanners of the StreiteKräfte quickly identified the satellites as Imitorian, since he thought they knew about this formidable defence around the Reich.

As the Imitorian Satellites crossed into the zone deemed as Reich Protective space the first defence satellites begun firing small drones who exploded in the vicinity followed by the fire of hundred of ships firing as one using the ordinairy overkill force that wasted so much extra energy and was looked upon with scorn from most other civilized nations. Several drones were finally launched to scout the damage and finish off whatever was still moving.

The admiral looked upon this as yet another show of force. Four satellites wouldn't need that kind of response, but he was sure there were many eyes looking at this and he couldn't allow anyone to believe the Reich had turned weak in their defences.

OOC: If you going to play space war you're welcome to do that. But if you are going to enter Reich to bomb someone you need to do your homework first. There is no way in hell four sats can get in over Reich unnoticed and bomb. Check prior threads about space coverage.
