World Cup XXXII [Geis-Milch] Roster Thread

The time has come, ladies and gentlemen. It is my honor to head us off on our way to the NationStates World Cup number 32. As one of the co-hosts, it's my duty to open up the roster thread. For those to you who are new to this great competition, posting rosters allows RPers to reference each others team, making RPs more detailed and easier to complete. You also get a small RP bonus, which increases your chances for victories, though remember, this is a game of random numbers in the end.
Also remember to note your RP playing style, from -5 to +5. -5 is a very defense oriented, meaning fewer goals for both you and your opponent, while +5 gives you both many goals, with 0 being neutral and the rest of the values filling in the areas between each extreme. If nothing is stated, 0 is assumed for scorinating purposes.
Finally, at the end of your post, please complete the RP permissions box, so that if you don't want your opponent to say that your star player was majorly injured or red-carded, they won't. (or at least know they shouldn't.)
Good luck to all, and enjoy WCXXXII!

Manager
Michael Revtron
Age: 17,249
Fortendale's handpicked replacement, he has been studying for years under Florintine's hand. Is more defensive minded than his mentor, but that has not proved any harm to the team, as their defense continues to improve. Now with Florintine gone, he has been promoted officially by the ESC.
Assistant Manager
Dwier Titenburg
Age: 1286
After a great career in both domestic and international play, the ESC decided to approach the elf for the job of assistant manager. After weighing his options, he gladly accepted in helping improve his countries favorite sport.
Goalie
0 Martin St. Louis, Raynor City Rockers
Age: 1314
St. Louis is quite strange. He is not tall like most keeps, and he likes to roam around the box far more than average goalies. However for all is reckless and unorthodox play, he is clutch when it comes down to pressure situations.
Defenders
23 Clint Centron, Baysleef Bombers
Age - 1196
Has proved that he deserves this spot, despite his occasionaly misplay. His recovery speed enables the cocky elf to make up for his mistakes, and stone opposing strikers when they think they are free on net.
18 Liliam Kries, Rinaldi Gunners
Age - 1253
A solid force in the back, who uses her great footwork and patience to frustrate strikers all throughout the match. Was the first woman to win defender of the year, and looks to continue on her excelent play in the international scene from tournaments past.
43 Gabriel Florez, Char Sara Inferno
Age - 1124
Has worked her way from the very bottom, being a walk on player at Hondo, to the Premiership and national team. She has the can do attitude that was enabled last tournament contention and her expierence of climbing the ranks has toughened her into a well respected member of the locker room.
13 Placibus Hardsworth, Cathedral Spooks (Assegai)
Age - 1150
Placibus is the strong and quiet one on the back line. He comes to the pitch day in, day out, and does what is expected of him without complaint. He will venture up field during prolonged attacks and on set pieces. Has been working on his crossing to help solidify his position.
Midfield
9 Marsha Stone, S.C. Vagrant Hills (Assegai)
Age - 1153
She is the midfield general and everyone on the team respects her play and personality as one, if not the, best on the team. Quick feet and thinking are just some of her great gifts. Had to overcome a nasty ankle injury a few years back, and it has yet to be seen it has affected her play.
22 Rick Cuellar, S.C. Vagrant Hills (Assegai)
Age: 1049
Rick is the playmaker in the midfield, with the uncanny ability to see plays developing before they happen. This leads to many assists for the youngster, and also the thanks of his strikers. WIth Revtron taking the reigns and Tobias joining the squad, his hopes of making the forward spot are slim for the next few tournaments, but he continues to work on his striking skills to capitalize when the chance occurs.
14 MF Justinian Constant, Mar Sara Flames
Age: 1121
Constant lives up to his name, with constant and steady play. He's the jack of all trades in the midfield, able to do everything well, but nothing great. However, his easy going attitude, and smart play allows him to crack the starting line up once more.
Forwards
28 Tobias Raynor, Char Sara Inferno
Age - 1287
Tobias proved during qualuification and the following CoH, that he has the skills and the attitude to compete with anyone on the team, or in the world stride for stride. After spending three years with the Inferno, his skills continue to shine, and he hopes to be part of a three headed monster of an attack.
7 Kyla Night, Raynor City Rockers
Age - 1086
The "Devil's Kiss" looks to torment defenders much like she does in every competition. Already the leading goal scorer in ESF history, she will look to add onto her already amazing resume. She will likely be guarded by the best defender by the opposition throughout the ESF' run. She continues to gain in speed and strenth, making her even more deadly in the attacking third.
8 Zacharius ©, Raynor City Rockers
Age - 1197
A great striker in his own right, vision to see plays devloping, and a master of the header. When paired with Night, he tends to get free and into excellent scoring positions, either putting them away or finding a teammate in a better spot.

The Black Oxen have gone through some changes since the last Cup:
The team will still play a +2 in a 3-2-2-3 formation. Despite Qualifing for the last Cup, Qazox has 6 new starters in its line-up, 4 of which played in the last cup, and 2 transfers from the Women's team. Hopefully it will not take to long fro this team to gel, or else it could be a long 4 years.

Tynelia-Tessan

Tynelia's roster
3-2-3-2 formation. (-2) modifier
Coach- Adam Billington age 52 Coach Billington, led Tynelia to its best ever showings in WC30 and 31 and reached the final eight of the CoH in both tries. Billington has not made any guarantees this time around of advancing since that move backfired on him last time. Rumor says this could be his final Cup as he has become frustrated at just falling short of the WC proper as well as not getting over the hump in the CoH as well.
Formation
…………Jakes……………………. C. MacDougal
Samson…………………Dawson……………….Thompson
………………Landers………………………Willis
Vhalis…………………...Stossels…………………Anderson………
……………………..Gordman…………………………….
G- Tom Gordman (29- starter) Touted as the next Valdimar Malloy, Gordman has finally made the move everyone had expected. Expected to carry the bulk of the Keepers role here Gordman seems to be ready for the test after pulling off the lowest goals against average in history last season.
G- Sean MacDougal (18-reserve) Sean MacDougal is part of the next generation of the MacDougal clan and nephew of the retired Alan MacDougal, his youngest uncle. Sean has the disadvantage of being the youngest of the three MacDougals on this squad and so was forced to be the keeper whenever they played as children. However this has made him the best younger keeper in the game as he won rookie of the year this year. Following his brothers in that as well as they took two of the previous three awards themselves
F- Connor MacDougal- (22- starter) The eldest of the MacDougal clan, Connor continued the family tradition of high scoring and attacking the net taking the goal scoring title in this his third year of league play as well as winning rookie of the year in his first year in the league. With brothers Sean and Duncan on the team Connor wants to make sure they both know which MacDougal is The MacDougal of the team.
F- Greg Samson (28- starter) Samson was the runner up in assists this year behind Thompson so the snipers up front look to have a excellent group of players setting them up for scoring chances at forward. He can score some himself but isn’t considered more than a fourth or fifth option on the team.
F-Mia Thompson (27-starter) After taking her third assists title in five years, Thompson has added a scoring touch as well in the last couple of years finishing in the top twenty in goals scored this season. Thompson will look to set up her league teammate MacDougal as they share the same side of the field to take advantage of this.
F- Bill Jakes (24- starter) The “scorinator” was a bit miffed at losing out to MacDougal by one goal for the overall scoring title this season stopping his streak at three years in a row. He did win offensive player of the year as he missed two matches due to injury so he actually had the highest goals/game average in the league. With last Cup’s experience behind him, Jakes is expected to be the top scorer on the squad though MacDougal naturally wants the title for himself. Needless to say these two will be firing all sorts of shots at net to see who will get bragging rights at the end.
F- Alan Dawson (28-starter) Dawson continues to be Mr. All Around. Solid on all sides of the field he is a better on defense than any of the other starting forwards which may be in part why he is getting a start to balance the overly aggressive players like MacDougal and Jakes.
F- Duncan MacDougal (20-reserve) The middle MacDougal was a bit upset to hear he would be a reserve and not a starter like his elder brother, but last year’s rookie of the year is no slouch in his own right. A top ten finish in overall scoring this past season but a better passer than his brother Connor so Duncan’s numbers are a bit more assist heavy than goal heavy though like all MacDougals he does possess the scorer’s knack for being in the right place at the right time.
F-Jay Masterson (42- reserve) the young hotshot has now officially become the “grand old man” of Tynelian soccer. Living up to his vow of not retiring until he actually makes it to the World Cup, Masterson is back again though some have argued a younger set of legs should have been included on the squad instead. Despite limited minutes each game in league play, Masterson still managed to break the top twenty in goals scored. It’s expected that Masterson will take on the sniper’s role off the bench if the team needs a goal late. Some have started a rumor that Masterson plans to replace Coach Billington when the latter steps down as head coach. Masterson refuses to comment on this.
M- Randy Willis (27- starter) Willis returns to his third Cup and has blossomed into a complete player on both sides of the ball. While not afraid to move up and push the pace with the forwards he also has the instincts to know when to hold back on defense. He is the best in the league at picking up a counterattack before it even starts.
M- Debbie Landers- (25-starter) Landers is still a ball magnet on the field always going after the play. This has led to an occasionally breakdown defensively but Coach Billington likes her aggressive style of play and so he brought her along again this time around. She is good at pushing the pace once she does get the ball so her defensive lapses are usually forgiven.
M- Tom Tippen (25-reserve) Tippen was among the leaders in goal differential this year with a +13 mark which has earned him a spot on the squad. Tippen is expected to see some regular playing time off the bench. A good ballhandler, Tippen can be counted on to slow down the pace of play when the opponent starts to get on an offensive roll.
M/F- Rachel Harrington (23-reserve) Harrington impressed a lot of people in her second year with her aggressive style of play at midfield. Second behind Duncan MacDougal in the rookie of the year voting, Harrington continued to play well in her second year. Late in the season her coaches moved her to forward thinking it a better match for her push the ball upfield style of play than midfield was and she did well with three goals in four matches. Billington has stated that she will get a chance to play in both spots this Cup.
D- Jane Stossels (24-starter) Winner of the Defensive player of the year, Stossels continues the fine defensive tradition her father John brought to the field. Now the anchor of the defense Jane expects to live up to the high levels her father set and surpass them if she can.
D- Alexander Vhalis (30-starter) Vhalis returns again after another strong defensive season and a sturdy +11 goal differential. Steady and reliable Vhalis has learned to control his aggressiveness on the field after swinging from one end of the spectrum to the other over his career.
D- Kim Anderson (30-starter) Finally healthy, Anderson hasa fully recovered from the injuries which kept her out to the lineup last Cup. Her instincts have gotten better to make up for the half step she’s lost from her injuries so her play seems hardly affected by them. Anderson wishes to make up for what she calls the “lost Cup” of four years ago where she was forced to mostly sit and watch her teammates fall just short yet again.
D/G- Brian Barns (26-reserve) Barns continues his odd role this year as well as he rotates from defender to keeper for the fifth straight season. Barns suffers the problem of being good in both areas so his coaches can never decide what spot to keep him at. Still spending more time on defense, that is where Barns expects to get his playing time at.
D- Jacob Marshall (24-reserve) Marshall is a newcomer to the World Cup scene but did make the conference All Star squad this season. Marshall is a stay at home defender who prefers to force the attacker to make the first move before making his counter rather than get in their face and force the issue. While some dislike this style, it seems to work well for him.

Goalie Home: All Black, even the cap
Goalie Away: Imperial Purple all over
Stadium
Southern Island Peaks
An all seater modern stadium, retractable roof, special look is the old clock on the West bank. Capacity of 40,000, seats the colour of the national team. On the hot southern island ruled by General Jared, brother of the ruler Jude to gain him goodwill, the heat and sudden rain can be off putting. Beside a rushing river, quite a few ball boys have never returned from going in the river which is called "Catincoa death."
Manager
Seletarakeledira Hanselijimijile: Brought in over Unori Banta-N'Bai by the FA, an expirenced manager who plays System Jesejil or System Sikane. Working on his English, the former manager of Rejistania like to play a defensive counter attacking game, relying on the skilled attackers to do their thing and his defence to hold firm. Got Cuation into the World Cup for the first time.
Squad
Tactics: Mostly a defending side, they will push forward on the counter attack. Normally, they lump the ball forward for Lu Fei to hold up till players get forward. Willing to use the offside trap and press from front to back
Against lesser or equal teams:
SS SS
LM CM RM
LB CB CB CB RB
GK
Against greater teams:
SS
LM CM RM
DM
LB CB CB CB RB
GK
Starting line up:
Jude Tanner- GK-28
Star player for his club, touted as Cuation's hottest talent for years.. Plays fair but can be absent minded on the pitch. Slow off his line but good shot stopper and master at penalties, he is also good at talking to his defenders. Brilliant in qualifying, he conceded seven in the three world cup games and taken awhile for his confidence to grow back.
Leslie Butcher-30-LB:
Eager but losing his pace. Likes to attack but his shots tend to be wayward. Does not like having to man mark someone as someone good with the ball can tear him apart and fairly short so lacks ability in the air. Learnt to adapt and has improved over the years but never seems to have gone as well as he would have liked
RB: Gary Cole -27
Can slot in anywhere along the back line, a fine part in the world cup showed he was not going to be the weak point, turned into a solid defender
CB: Swiss ""Cheese" Charag -30:
Lives with his minority tribe in the mountains, powerful on air and ground, sure on his feet. A brilliant part in qualfiying and solid during the world cup, he has turned into a star, at his peak, he will need to be on top form.
CB: Ledly James- 21
A strong header of the ball, quick and very good at recovery tackles. This young talent has broke into his club first team after his important part in the last world cup, his odd blips in concentration are a concern.
CB: Tony Irwin- 32
Drafted in for his expirence, he will have to organised the backline and be the leader. An expert at the offside trap, he will throw his body in the way of any shot, what he lacks in pace he makes up for in bravery.
LM: Shaun Downing: 25
Can't dribble, not the best at defending, refuses to go inside, but he can cross the ball well. Will hope Butcher can continue his overlap's will provide him space to get the ball into the box, Lu Fei has benefited from this man.
Joe Fallen- 26 CM:
A trick pony. When not hogging the ball, he can be so useful to the team with his deadly balls. Too often he wastes things by keeping the ball too long. Left footed, he started on the right for the team due to Ashton's retirment for the Dragon Cup, he has moved the the centre.
On the wrong foot, he looked helpeless and greedy, not a threat to anyone. Moved into the centre and has improved a lot, able to organise play a bit more. Needs to use his right foot and to be less greedy on the ball but has enough defence ability to act as a holding player.
RM: Phil Lewish-19
For one so young, his ability is amazing, can play up front, anywhere in midfield and even in goal. His shots do have a tendancy to hit the posts but he can dribble, cross, tackle, pass, shoot, anything but head the ball. Tendancy to drift inside might be a problem, not very pacy.
ST: Lu Fei- 28:
Strong player, he is the target man. Will hold the ball up if needed and so often first to the long ball, lacks pace but a good finisher.
Major part of the team, he has added gretly to the team, he is now at his peak.
Rual Mendisez-31-striker: (dropped when playing 5-4-1)
Pacy small goalscorer. Doesn't fit in with the style of play and can not dribble or jump much but useful in the counter attack or to chase a lead. Can suffer from his own doubts and arrogance, was poor in the last world cup qualifcation and dropped for the world cup itself. Happy to play alongside a target man, if he does not score, he is a waste.
Bench
Gary Jens-37-GK.
Tall, tanned, agile, good at narrowing the angle, he has many strengths. He has three flaws however: his fiery temper, crosses and being somewhat inconsistent. This man can make a fantastic save only to let a 30 yarder through his legs. Willing to sweep up behind the defence, only dropped for Cup to give Tanner expirence but has since lost his place
Def: Jaime Terry: 27
Solid player who thrives when the ball is in the air, he is just about good enough for this level but a good striker would love to play against this guy.His ability when he has the ball is erratic, hit his peak
Holding Player: Scott Makaie: 29(will start in 4-5-1)
Strong in the tackle, energetic, he will cover a lot of ground during a match. He likes to play the simple pass so as to not put his team in danger. Will not let any attacking player have time to think, a great shield for a the team, proven himself to be a class act.
Winger: Luke "Speedy" Gonzalez: 23
Very quick winger, he will cuase fullbacks no end of trouble but his final ball can be wayward. Can seem like a headless chicken but his pace and ability to play on either flank could prove useful. Learning how to use the ball better and to track back.
ST: Pual Keane-30:
Pacy player like Rual Mendiz. Will be looking to get in behind defences and finish any chances he gets. Perhaps too similar but makes a good sub when his pace can get him in behind tired defences. Frustrated at never gaining first team place even when Rual is off form.

MID - Michael Clarke, 23 - Nice young man with a dodgy back
STK - Kate Bush, 31 - Karoake Queen of the team.
STR - Natasha Greski 18, another schoolgirl player at the Q-Cup.
STR - Abrams Tunk, 28 - Called the "TANK" because he steamrolls small defenders.
STR - Big Gay Al, 26 - The name says it all. Guys avoid him, hairdresser in normal life.
STR - Sammie Smith (F) - 27. Another DI4 player. Great at long range, but still can miss at one foot at times.

New Propagandia
06-12-2006, 18:16
(OOC: +1 Playing modifier for me thanks)
"This is a great day for New Propagandia." Samuel Johnson was on stage, he was also head of the Football Association. "Our first World Cup, our first international sporting fame. We have high hopes for this one."
The conference has started, Samuel Johnson making his opening speech, the press had gathered round looking up at the stage, the Sports and FA were at the seating, even some government members, even the Prime Minister was there.
"Now, I won't dawdle, so I am thrilled to reveal to you, the first ever New Propagandia national kit. First, we have the home kit. Made by New Propagandia's own VertiSports, sports clothing that won't wear out."
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f236/Medionsaturn/newpropagandiashomekitworldcup32nlo.png
There was a round of applause.
"And... The away kit."
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f236/Medionsaturn/newpropagandiaawaykitworldcup32nlog.png
The applause grew.
"And now, the unveiling of the great warriors of the pitch that will represent New Propagandia and all that we stand for."

STAFF
Lucius Andrews, 39, Manager
Achievements: Cronom United two-time winners of the Prímó Vero League, Cronom United first ever Prímó Vero winners, Cronom United first ever winners of the Freedom Cup.
Information: Lucius is the finest manager in New Propagandia and the only realistic choice, made harder by the fact that the Football League is only two years old. He guided Cronom United to all sorts of glory, though you could say the competition wasn't much. Every transfer window he'd know which players to get rid of and which to get hold of. Perfect to be steering the wheel in New Propagandia's First World Cup effort.
Barton Carr, 45, Assistant Manager
Achievements: Dorado City Prímó Vero 1st season runner-up
Information: Barton Carr is the current Man at the helm of Dorado City, they showed great potential in the first season but struggled to achieve a mid-table spot last season after their best players were poached by rival clubs. He is a master tactician and always found discussing tactics with Lucius Andrews.
Matt Wood, 34, Head Trainer
Information: He's the main trainer at Coldwall FC, famous for his sudden training drills, the players would be sleeping in their hotel rooms when he'd burst in, flip over the mattress and tell them to get dressed and do a hundred laps around the complex. He's fair but tough and will be sure to keep the players in line.
GOALKEEPERS
1. Anton Liberkine, 27, Cronom United
Information: The best goalkeeper in all New Propagandia, Cronom were quick the get in an offer for him from financially struggling Thorn County in the second season and he hasn't dissapointed. He's only 5'9 but has reflexes like a Cat.
14. Tony Faddon, 30, Coldwall FC
Information: A knee-injury kept him out of action last season, the season before he performed very
well but now that he's past his peak he's only usefull for a last line of defence substitute if anything happens to Anton. If that.
18. Christopher Reem, 20, Cronom United
A very promising youngster, fresh off his military service. He probably won't play in the World Cup being the third choice Goalkeeper but the expertise he may learn from Faddon and Liberkine is probably what he's there for anyway.
DEFENDERS
2. Callum Smithson, 24, Gainom Xenia
Information: This man defines the modern day right-back. He bombs forward to aid the right midfeilder, he has the pace to run back in time, and good at throw-ins to boot.
3. Gaius Vesputous, 30, Cronom United
Information: He's past his peak but the best choice of the poor selection of left-backs. He can read the ball well but is no match for a pacey attacker.
4. Al Red, 28, Coldwall FC
Information: He's gradually slowing now but he still has adequate pace, excellent positioning and plays the marker role well, an anchor in defence.
5. Michael Hayden, 23, Cronom United
Information: Young, pacey, disciplined yet aggresive. The perfect compliment to Al Reed in central defence.
13. Leon Corbet, 33, Billiton Athletic
Information: The best of bottom-dwellers Billiton Athletic and thinks hoofing the ball is the answer to everything. Billiton Athletic's Captain.
17. Santo Cainos, 20, Cronom United
Information: Another young'un who received his call-up a month after his military term, in the youth squad he was very pacey and aggresive, whether a year of Military Service has changed that is not known.
MIDFIELDERS
6. Brian Lovett, 26, Cronom United
Information: A good defensive midfielder with the pace of a zebra, he's a big practical joker and sometimes annoys the team so much they put their fingers in their ears. A good player though.
7. Dante Ryane, 21, Dorado City
Information: The dead ball man, free kicks, penalty's, corners, crosses, you name a high ball trick and he's performed it.
8. Antonio Reyes, 27, Gainom Xenia
Information: Even the latin community can't be stopped from football fever. It took alot of money to get Reyes from sunny New El Dorado to chilly Gainom but it was worth it when he got them into third place and won them the second Freedom Cup tournament. The Captain of Gainom Xenia.
11. Craig Steele, 22, Cronom United
Information: The pacey winger, ball juggler and ladies man, Craig Steele captured the hearts of the Female side of the human race.
15. Lysander Chesley, 29, Bristo Daines United
Information: Captain and figurehead of the Bristo Daines, Lysander is best known reaching his peak last season when he scored three hat-ricks in three games in a row, but it was ended by Al Red with nasty two-footed tackle that fractured his ankle. There is serious bad blood between them.
16. Brian Hunter, 20, Coldwall FC
Information: Another young lad who will pick up a few tricks while with the other players. Said to be the next Dante Ryane.
STRIKERS
9. Brett Starr, 34, Cronom United
Information: One of the most renound strikers in New Propagandian football(despite it only officially starting two years ago), Brett Starr is a power striker. Almost as immobile as a tank but if someone like Dante Ryane crosses the ball into him he can score well with a mean header. He is also not only the Captain of Cronom United but also Captain of the New Propagandian national team.
10. Ian Nielson, 26, Dorado City
Information: A good partner to Brett Starr, he has the pace and flair of the two.
12. Flint Wurst, 28, Thorn County
Information: He's kept Thorn County afloat, barely. He thoroughly enjoys the game and plays well but has little patience as a result of playing with a team full of poor players and youths.
15. Husaam Khuzaymah, 17, Cronom United
Information: A complete wild card, he hasn't even had his year's military service yet. New Propagandia is about equality of people regardless of faith and race (though not yet gender) and so a member of the Muslim community was allowed to join the Cronom youth's. He comes from a rough area and as a result he has a mean streak. Some say he's a talented player who usually gets the ball in the net, others say he's a little thug who has no place in the football world. But Lucius Andrews must have been impressed with him.
Formation: The team uses Lucius most used tactic, the 4-4-2 diamond formation. Lucius may change who plays in which position.

Cafundeu
06-12-2006, 19:56
Cafundéu's chosen 23 list:
The CCFM(Confederação Cafundelense de Futebol Masculino - in English, Cafundéu's Male Football Confederation) has the pleasure to release the list of the 23 players that will play in the World Cup.
The coach Franz Braddock, former NT player decided to use the same squad used in the Baptism of Fire, as the team made a good campaign on it, losing only one game and being the runner-ups. The CCFM accepted the list.
All the players are fully fit, without injuries and ready to play the games and train with the team. The staff is also ready to do their best for the team.
With the same 23 players being chosen, some stars are still left in their houses while players with less fame will play. But, surprises aside, the list is very good, although most of the players have an offensive attitude. All the players play in the domestic league. Braddock also said that he has a backup list in case of injuries.
See the list of the 23 players:
Goalkeepers:
1-Júlio VARGAS (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 202cm - Weight: 90kg - Date of Birth: 30/01/1972(34 years old)
A very experienced goalkeeper, who played for many top clubs of Cafundéu and in some foreign clubs. He is very secure, doesn't make much fantastic saves, but doesn't make mistakes too, so he's a good option in important games. The opponent's supporters pressure doesn't affect him, he concentrates himself in the game and nothing can distract him. He is good in saving penalties and in the aerial balls, and has great influence and command. A natural option for the place of captain too. Is in the NT since 1998.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: A
12-Sérgio Polagrossa "DUREPOX" (Team: Central United)
Height: 200cm - Weight: 85kg - Date of Birth: 12/10/1980(26 years old)
Durepox wasn't a famous goalkeeper. He plays in a minor team of the First Division and didn't appear much, but last year his team reached the semifinals of the cup and he saved the team, making them reach the final. He likes to make fantastic saves, jumping a lot and posing to the cameras, and sometimes he makes some ugly mistakes. When he gets the ball he doesn't let it escapes him. He is very famous outside the field and likes to be noticed. Even with many clubs interested in his services, he stayed in Central United for the next season.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A
23-"SÃO" PEDRO Elmaz Borges (Team: Atlético Jutense)
Height: 190cm - Weight: 83kg - Date of Birth: 25/12/1988(18 years old)
A new star. His talent is still unexplored, but the coach is certain that he will be a very good goalkeeper in the future. Got the position in the Atlético Jutense team only this year. Normally he is a normal keeper, saving some balls and suffering some goals, but sometimes he makes a miracle, and because of these miracles he is called "saint". Can be the main goalkeeper of the team in the next World Cups, but not is this competition.
Rating: C - Team Relationship: B - Morale: A - Form: B
Right Defenders:
2-Flávio VANDICK Coletti (Team: SC Lasft)
Height: 188cm - Weight: 80kg - Date of Birth: 02/02/1982(24 years old)
Vandick played in Faculdade de Medicina team until 2004. Then, his talent was discovered and he's now in SC Lasft. He is a very calm and fast right-back, good in tacking and dribbling. He is also good in set pieces. But he hasn't much strength and stamina and he often leaves the game before the end. He is very intelligent and his team mates like him. Can be a good surprise.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: B
22-Francisco Macedo Juarez "CAFÉZINHO" (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 165cm - Weight: 64kg - Date of Birth: 17/08/1975(31 years old)
Played as a starter in the National Team for many years, but now it's a sub. He won his nickname because he loves a good cup of coffee, and drinks before the games. His main ability is the speed, he is extremely fast. He isn't good at heading and finishing, although his passing is ok. He is very offensive and doesn't like to defend. His form is far from perfect, and his morale is low too.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: B - Morale: C - Form: C
Left Defenders:
3-Ray KIRS (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 173cm - Weight: 70kg - Date of Birth: 13/09/1979(27 years old)
Ray Kirs is one of the most complete footballers of Cafundéu. He has great vision, passing and tackling, and his finishing and heading isn't bad. He lacks some speed and is extremely tactical, and his team mates respect him. He has a lot of confidence from the coach and from the supporters. He doesn't like to talk to the media and to the press and trains hard. His form seems perfect and his morale is good, although he doesn't seem happy because his brother isn't in the NT(Farsey Kirs).
Rating: A - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A
18-Sílvio Natanael FUCHS (Team: A.F.F.)
Height: 179cm - Weight: 72kg - Date of Birth: 22/04/1984(22 years old)
Fuchs's presence in the list is a major surprise. He started to play as a starter in the AFF team only this year, but is playing really well and on top form. He is nervous to play this competition and worried about his future, because his contract with AFF will end soon. He had some problems with some players of the squad and probably won't continue in the team. He is very good at passing and tacking, but poor in finishing. His speed and will is normal, and he can even play some games.
Rating: C - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Form: A
Central Defenders:
4-João Chico Tripa de Boi "BECÃO" (Team: Ranca Toco)
Height: 190cm - Weight: 95kg - Date of Birth: 08/01/1980(26 years old)
Becão plays with much will and using all his strength, so he is feared by the attackers. His tacking is awesome and his passing is good. But he is very slow and can't finish well, unless he uses his head to try to score(he can use his head well). He obeys the coach and is a good option for the place of captain(but Vargas will be the captain). Talks a lot in the media and is a hero in his team. He is considered the second strongest player in Cafundéu and one of the most determined too.

13-SÁVIO FERRARI Andrada (Team: Pernetas EC)
Height: 176cm - Weight: 76kg - Date of Birth: 15/06/1981(25 years old)
Sávio Ferrari is a solid defender, known for his regular performances. He isn't a special player, but his tackling and passing is good and he can even finish well. Sávio is a quiet person too. Nobody knows what he is thinking or feeling, and his personal life is unknown too. But he surely is a good option for the team.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A
15-Danilo Souza DUCAS (Team: CR Submiria)
Height: 168cm - Weight: 73kg - Date of Birth: 11/07/1973(33 years old)
Ducas has the same style of play that Sávio. He has regular performances and good tacking, passing and finishing. But he isn't a quiet person, he doesn't avoid the media and gives many interviews. He is reaching the end of his career and will probably be a coach after he retires. After many seasons in Dunboor FC, he was transfered to his first team CR Submiria to end his career there.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: C
20-WANTUIRSO Silveira da Alvorada (Team: Ranca Toco)
Height: 184cm - Weight: 90kg - Date of Birth: 28/11/1976(30 years old)
Wantuirso was playing in Tabajara, but his transfer to Ranca Toco for the next season was one of the most expensive. He is very wise and gives advices to the younger players. He is good at heading and tacking. His passing isn't very good, so he shoot the ball to the attack very often, and misses many passes. He is looking for a move, maybe to Ranca Toco, and will work hard to get this contract. Sometimes he can be a little annoying, but he likes his team mates. But he doesn't control the pressure to play in the NT.
Rating: C - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: B
Defensive Midfielders:
5-Mukulaiê Bakarangobadah Zulaiêká "ANORMAL" (Team: SC Lasft)
Height: 210cm - Weight: 106kg - Date of Birth: 31/12/1986(19 years old)
A monster in the field, Anormal has a strange past. His father is a famous scientist, and his mother is unknown. Many sources say that Anormal is an experience made by his father, but this is only a theory. Anormal is young, but surely the best player of the team. Taller and heavier than any other player of the team, he has more abilities than anyone. Great physical strength, very fast and is good at everything(heading, shooting, passing, tacking). His only weakness is that he doesn't want to hurt his opponent, so he tries to get the ball in a gentle way, being dribbled sometimes. But everybody loves him and he'll surely play all the games.

14-MANUEL PADARIA Gama Cabral (Team: Atlético Jutense)
Height: 180cm - Weight: 76kg - Date of Birth: 22/04/1982(24 years old)
Manuel Padaria is from a Portuguese family and came to Cafundéu to play football. After some years, he got his Cafundéu passport and now plays in the NT. A classic defensive midfielder, helps the defense taking many balls and creates some plays to the attack, but can't finish well, even with his head. But he can score some goals shooting from outside the area. His positioning is poor and he doesn't receive many passes. But his will to play and good relationship with supporters, staff and team mates make him a very good option. He was one of the main responsible for making his team, Atlético Jutense, even with few stars, the champion of the domestic league.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: B
16-Saulo Mehmet Mustapha Soares MENZIR (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 171cm - Weight: 73kg - Date of Birth: 08/05/1978(28 years old)
Saulo Menzir was the most important defensive midfielder of Cafundéu for many years, but now is only the third option. He was a great players, but he had an injury last year and now his ability was very reduced(now he has nearly 50% of his potential). He can't finish well, his dribbling is horrible and his heading isn't good. But his passing and tacking is still good, and maybe he can help the team. He has problems with his physical condition and he is frustrated because of that, but he is still respected.
Rating: C - Team Relationship: A - Morale: C - Form: D
Neutral Midfielders:
6-Marcos Afonso PRIOTTO (Team: Ranca Toco)
Height: 168cm - Weight: 77kg - Date of Birth: 15/02/1978(26 years old)
Priotto is very famous. He change his team very often(once per year), but plays with the same form in all the teams that he plays. His style is a bit more defensive, but he can attack well. His passing is his main ability, while the others are balanced. The only club that he said that he'll never play is Petardos S/A, because of some problems that he had with the coach Caio Meback, while he was playing at Pernetas EC. He has some problems with his team mates and gets involved in a lot of confusions, being violent and impatient, but most of his team mates still think that he is a loyal person. He stayed in Ranca Toco for his second season in the team.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A
8-Gustavo MERCEGUES (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 177cm - Weight: 80kg - Date of Birth: 27/10/1974(32 years old)
Mercegues played his entire career for Petardos S/A, the biggest team of male football in Cafundéu. Now that he is approaching the end of his career, he has a chance to compete in a major international competition, and he wants to play well and its excited with this experience. He is much more offensive than Priotto, but his passing and tacking is worse than Priotto's. His biggest qualities are the dribbling, finishing and ability to create plays and goal chances for the attackers. His form wasn't so good lately, but he still plays very well and has a lot of confidence.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: C
Attacking Midfielders:
7-Ricardo Steppt KLIEK (Team: Dunboor FC)
Height: 166cm - Weight: 68kg - Date of Birth: 19/07/1986(20 years old)
Kliek is a young player that is discovering his style and starting to plat very well. He is a very offensive midfielder, and doesn't defend. His passing, dribbling and finishing are OK, and his heading isn't so good. But he is very creative and can make good plays and create a lot of goal chance for his team mates. He can also get lost balls, that were almost leaving the field, reaching it with speed. He is also very funny and likes to make jokes and to provoke the opponents.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: B
10-José Bebum BRAHMA (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 183cm - Weight: 81kg - Date of Birth: 10/01/1983(23 years old)
Brahma was playing in Clube Comercial, but his team was relegated. Then, he went to Petardos S/A in the biggest transfer of this year, and now has more responsibility. He is one of the biggest prospects of the country, and now is in the NT. He is offensive and likes to go to the right side of the field to start to make his plays and to create some goal chances. He crosses the ball a lot and has good dribbling. Short passes are his weak point. He isn't good in taking free kick or penalties, but he is very good in taking corner kicks. He is good at heading too. He has some problems with alcohol and he gets drunk easily. His team mates doesn't like him very much and he doesn't have many friends.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: C - Morale: A - Form: A
17-Leonardo HAUSER (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 170cm - Weight: 67kg - Date of Birth: 26/03/1981(25 years old)
It's the first time that Hauser goes to the NT of Cafundéu, and he'svery happy with the possibility to use the NT shirt for the first time in his career, but he probably won't play. He is the less prepared player between the 23 and the less talented. But he dribbles well. His other abilities are normal, nothing special and he's slow and isn't very determined. He is quiet, but his team mates like him.
Rating: D - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: B
Attackers:
9-Ganz IJAK (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 182cm - Weight: 82kg - Date of Birth: 14/05/1976(30 years old)
Best goalscorer of the league and the most dangerous striker of Cafundéu, Ganz Ijak can score in many ways. He uses well his head, shoots well from any distance and can do some great plays. When he has a chance to score, he scores. He isn't very good to create plays or to pass or tackle, but his finishing and dribbling is great, and because of that he is one of the most respected footballers of Cafundéu. Ijak also is very calm and respect his opponents, and didn't receive many cards and didn't make fouls. His brother had some problems and lost his place in the starting eleven of the NT, but Ganz isn't sad with this situation. He also has a very good relationship with the coach Franz Braddock and with Gustavo Mercegues.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A
11-HEITOR Abbade (Team: A.F.F.)
Height: 178cm - Weight: 72kg - Date of Birth: 25/05/1985(21 years old)
Got a place in the first team of Cafundéu after the bad performances of Ernesto Ijak. He doesn't score the same amount of goals that Ganz Ijak scores, but he has a very good finishing too. His heading isn't accurate and his dribbling is far from perfect, but his passing is good. He likes to press the opponent defender and try to take the ball from him. He also can create some goal chances. When he is not playing he works in the CCFM judging the referees, and has a good future as a player. He also has a good relationship with the media, but not with the coach, that doesn't like his style.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A
19-Ernesto IJAK (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 178cm - Weight: 76kg - Date of Birth: 24/08/1980(26 years old)
The brother of Ganz Ijak doesn't have all the ability of his brother, but is a very good striker too. He didn't score many goals, but when he is playing with his brother he likes to give all the goal chances to him. His finish is good and he has a good dribbling and heading, but he can't tackle the ball and doesn't pass to other players(only to his brother). Because of that his team mates don't like him very much. He isn't very happy because he is a bench player right now, but he still thinks that he can get a place in the starting eleven. Many people think that he is arrogant.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Form: C
21-Ralf Orlando INCISIVO (Team: SC Lasft)
Height: 170cm - Weight: 71kg - Date of Birth: 28/07/1983(23 years old)
The most balanced attacker, Incisivo can score goals and create plays with the same ability. His passing, dribbling and finishing are good. Only his tacking is poor. He can play with any other striker, because he can adapt his style with the style of his partner. So he is a good option in emergency cases. He is modest, and is impressed that he is in the National Team, but he knows that he probably won't play very much. Some people think that Incisivo isn't very professional, and doesn't like to train very much.

Staff:
Coach: Franz BRADDOCK (Former Petardos S/A coach)
Height: 183cm - Weight: 92kg - Date of Birth: 03/04/1948(58 years old)
One of the best midfielders of Cafundéu's history, Franz Braddock was extremely motivated, determinated and tactical. And he continues with these abilities as a coach. After coaching many great teams and winning a lot of trophies, he was an unanimous choice to be the coach of the NT. So, he left Petardos S/A(that now is coached by Caio Meback) and started to build a team that suited his style to battle for the objectives of the country. His training is very tough and tiring, he wants to extract the best of his players, and some players don't like this. But he continues being the savior of the country and the only one that can give victories to the team.

Assistant Coach: João CANABRAVA (Former Ranca Toco player)
Height: 172cm - Weight: 78kg - Date of Birth: 27/09/1955(51 years old)
Has a very different style of coaching. While Braddock is tough and tactical, Canabrava likes to give freedom to the players and focuses in team relationship. He isn't happy in being only an assistant coach, and wants to take advantage of the confidence that the directors have on him to get a better job soon. When he was the coach, the players could go out at night and only return in the other day. To tell the truth, even Canabrava leaves the training ground sometimes.

Spy: PAI Oxossi de Guibar DINAH
Height: 158cm - Weight: 64kg - Date of Birth: 06/06/1916(80 years old)
Pai Dinah(or Pai Oxossi) is the spy of the team. He says that he can discover the most deeper secrets of the opponent talking with the opponent players and using his secret talents. He is a very strange person and many people say that he is crazy. But he does his work well, and most of the times he discover the secrets of the enemy.

Physical Trainer: GIOVANNI Vital Mendes (Former Dunboor FC)
Height: 190cm - Weight: 92kg - Date of Birth: 16/05/1968(38 years old)
Giovanni is nothing special. He is a normal physical trainer, and does well his job. The players have a good relationship with him and he has the confidence of the board. He was a boxing champion, but already retired. Has 8 children and 4 of them want to be boxing fighters, and the other 4 want to be their managers.

Entertainer: SERGINHO MALLANDRO (Former TV Gazeta)
Height: 175cm - Weight: 88kg - Date of Birth: ???(above 40 years old)
The players and the staff need to be relaxed to play all the games. So, Serginho Mallandro's job is to make jokes, play games and help to make everybody happy. Sometimes he can be a bit annoying with his phrases like "Glu-glu", or "Bilu-bilu tetéia" and other ones, and even the directors don't like him very much, but he will stay with the NT. He also works with the female NT.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Confidence: D
Doctor: Dra. LUANA CELESTE (Former Juta Hospital)
Height: 164cm - Weight: 52kg - Date of Birth: 12/02/1968(38 years old)
A very famous doctor in the sporting area, Luana knows what to do and it's ready for any problems. Is well paid and got this well deserved position. She has some problems with Serginho Mallandro(she hates his bad jokes) and the masseur Ulisses Carambola is at her command. Cafundéu can sleep safer with her.

The Directors:
Director of the NT: MR. Erasmo Carlos JOWENGUARD
Date of Birth: 09/11/1928(78 years old) - Time in the job: 12 years
Jowenguard's family is one of the founders of the CCFM. He was the president of the CCFM for 30 years, but health problems made him renounce. Now, without problems, he has the job of director of the National Teams(less important), but he still has great influence in the CCFM and in the CFFC, choosing the NT coach and changing some things that he shouldn't change(I won't give any details about it).
Rating: A - Influence: A - Morale: D - Confidence: A
President of the CCFM: Counsellor-Minister of Sports MR. Samuel MAKAS
Date of Birth: 26/07/1948(58 years old) - Time in the job: 2 years
2 months ago, the president of the CCFM Sabrina Arrojo died. An election was held to decide who would take her place. Miguel Jóia, manager of players, tried to get the place, but the counsellor-minister of sports won. The counsellor Makas is one of the most important members of Cafundéu's government. He isn't very flexible in the job, and his influence inside the CCFM, even being a counsellor, is low(Jowenguard controls the CCFM more than him), but he has the confidence of all the directors and is improving his qualities. He is very ambitious and wants more money at all costs. He was involved in corruption schemes involving clubs and players last year, but no proof was shown.
Rating: C - Influence: C - Morale: A - Confidence: B

Dateline: The Hexagon, Green Wombat. In a unprecidented move, the Council of Green Wombat Sports has named Serial Killer Joe Gurt the new head coach of the National Team. The CWSC has given Mr. Gurt free rein to pick his squad. After months of searching the most dangerous prisons in Green Wombat, Mr. Gurt is pleased to announce the World Cup 32 Squad. May the God or Gods you believe in have mercy on your soul.
HEAD COACH: JOSEPH GURT, Age 36. The most notorious serial killer in Green Wombat history, he has confessed to killing over 80 women, and is the main suspect in 150 other unsolved murders. Sentenced to 200 consecutive life sentences, due to his pleading of insanity.

And now the Starting eleven:
GOALKEEP- RYAN "The Worm" WICHER, Age 27. One of the GOLAN FIVE, He was the mastermind behind the biggest bank robbery in history, which took over 134 million dollars from the First National Bank of Green Wombat. Using stolen passwords and a stolen military super-computer, he and his accomplices spent 5 days draining every account from the bank. He's currently serving 75 years without parole.
DEFENDERS:
LEFT FULLBACK- TYRONE "Small" BIGGUMS, Age 26. The leader of the Escardero Drug Cartel, was in charge of a drug empire that at time of capture was worth over $1.5 billion dollars. Sentenced to 100 years to life for killing 8 members of the Wachovia S.W.A.T. Team during his capture.
SWEEPER- JEROME "Slipknot" BE'TIS, Age 31. Biggum's 3rd in command of the Escardero Drug Cartel, Jerome was sentenced to death by Lethal Injection for killing the judge that presided over his drug trial. Also Suspected in the murders of 6 IBGW agents (Investigative Bureau of Green Wombat).
RIGHT FULLBACK- JOHN "John-John" JOHNSON, Age 24. A serial killer, in the mold of Jack the Ripper, convicted of killing 7 prositiutes over a 2 week span back in 1911. Has multiple personality disorder, which he claims is the reason the murders were committed. Sentenced to life imprisonment at the Gerrad Institute for the Mentally Insane.
MIDFIELDERS:
LEFT HALFBACK- TYSON "Biggie" BIGGUMS, Age 26. Twin brother of Tyrone, also his 2nd in command of the Escardero Drug Cartel. Was convicted of killing their sister, Rene Biggums, and their parents Jack and Diane Biggums in a coke-fueled rage after Tyrone was arrested. He's Currently sentenced to death by Lethal Injection.
CENTER HALFBACK- HELENA FITZROY- Age 22. Wife of Leroy Hobbes, Leader of the violent anti-goverment gang, the RHINOS. Convicted of killing 3 police officers with an icepick, and is considered to be more dangerous than her husband. Sentenced to life imprisionment.
RIGHT HALFBACK- LEROY "Gunga" HOBBES, Age 27. Leader of the violent anti-goverment gang, the RHINOS, Leroy killed 17 members of the IBGW during their raid on his ranch, Emerald Heights. Still awaiting trial.
ROVER- DOUGLASS ADEMLE- Age 30. Convicted of rape and torture during the Green Wombat Civil War, this ex-Navy SEAL is dangerous and is trained in 15 combat styles. Sentenced to Death by Hanging, but was spared due to a mistrial, which lead to a second trial, resulting in life imprisonment.
FOREWARDS-
LEFT WING- "7-11" KI'ANG SHO GI- Age 32, Leader of the Green Wombat Yakuza. Accused of ordering the death of over 100 civilians during a hostage crisis during the Civil War. Denies the claim, but has confessed to killing Colonel Robert H. Carlos, who took over Green Wombat during the Civil War. Awaiting trial on numerous drug, smuggling and extortion charges.
CENTER FORWARD- JOSEPH GURT, Age 36. See above, as he is also Head Coach.
RIGHT WING- A man known only as "THE JESTER", he wears a harlequin suit and claims to have killed over 200 people. He is most likely insane, but has not failed any sanity tests. Imprisioned for poisoning the Doet Lake Watershed, and is currently imprisoned at the Gerrad Institute for the Mentally Insane. Has a very annyoing laugh.
The Team will play with a +6, and a 3-4-3 formation.
As for the extras:
Pick my scorers, and yellow card or red card up to 3 people. No killing or any stupid God-mode stuff.
New Montreal States

Up With the Blue and Silver
Ladies and gentlemen, the New Montreal States Paladins
Coach: Benoit Briand - after a disappointing performance in WCXXX, Armand St-Gilbert was given the boot, despite being a baseball, rather than a football, coach. Briand, fresh from a championship season at CF Valdemont, was tagged for the job and accepted.
The Keepers
GK 18 Vyacheslav Kamchatski, age 22 - with a huge pair of cleats to fill after the departure of the legendary Paul Chasson. Showed great promise during the season at Moncton Sands, but will be kept on a tight leash nonetheless.
GK 2 Ives Marc St-Joubert - Neck and neck with Kamchatski throughout camp, benched only owing to Kamchatski's stint behind Chasson in WCXXX. Will get his number called after the first big blowout.
What some people might call a Defense
We mostly call it #@∆¥¢∞!!!
D 44 Harry Hoolia, age 20 - He's one-quarter Rejistanian, so he might actually be good someday. Who knows?
D 51 Mitch Broughton, age 26 - It takes a special kind of guy to take all the abuse heaped on the back two. He seems to have the necessary chutzpah.
D 61 Morris Lee Bradford, age 20 - Because one last name will not suffice.
D 43 Bradley Osric, age 21 - Again, why the hell not?
The Midfield
MF 3 Boethius, age 22 - Yes, mononyms have apparently arrived in the States. So has this talented young attacking midfielder fresh off a breakout season at Outremont Colonial.
MF 8 Petr Hunyadi, age 33 - Master of the counterattack, plays brilliant D, cooks gourmet meals as a hobby. Happily married to model Anne-Audrey Fleury for ten years now - long enough for the tabloids to discard them as old news, and then pick them back up, wondering what the hell their secret is.
MF 15 Orestes Jones, age 21 - He's an understated counterpart to his volatile wingmate Tessier, which is good, since there's only so much vitriol one part of the pitch can take before it wilts.
MF 19 Dude Caslow, age 22 - Stepping off from the bench into a full-time starting roll. Will need to pick up Plattsburgh's duties setting up Corcoran and Colbert.
MF 22 André Villeneuve, age 21 - Fresh blood into Fabrice Labranche's spot in the center midfield. Energetic, enthusiastic and cerebral play make him a more than adequate replacement for the departed Labranche. And did we mention he's the son of Gilles Villeneuve?
MF 39 Marc Tessier, age 35 - Anger and talent mixed in equal parts. Briand will yank him at the first sign of trouble; unfortunately, him going off usually is the first sign of trouble.
Midfield Reserves:
MF 4 Sid Briscoe, age 30
MF 10 Sigmund Brassacova, age 19
MF 17 David Chung, age 28
MF 25 Jasper Foulkes, age 17
MF 36 Patrice Lagardie, age 20
MF 48 Lucien St-Germain, age 25
The National Cans of Whoop-Ass
F 6 Jean-Baptiste Colbert, age 18 - The future of the front line. We hope. We really do.
F 69 Billy Corcoran, age 29 - His final campaign for the Paladins. Played a key role in getting the States into the final match of WCXXXI - now he just wants to win this time.
Forward Reserves:
F 34 Théodore Brisebois, age 17 - Too young for regular action yet, but should get plenty of seasoning action and maybe even one or two spots to rest up Corcoran before key matches.
F 80 Thad Person, age 27 - Because he had talent and a couple months open.
The Stadia
Lo! The national stadium will be used exclusively for this tournament, for reasons that aren't quite clear. All matches will be at the (currently) 122,500-capacity Paladin Dome, fresh off the last batch of renovations that should tide it over another decade or two...
(OOC stuff: Formation is a +1. Ages are at the Cup proper, subtract 2 years for the first half of qualifiers and 1 for the second half. Or, just give the whole thing a miss, and write about something more interesting than the players ages)

Roster Submission for World Cup 32:
Federation name: Az-Cz football Federation
Team Nicknames: Gnomes, Adventurers, Robbers, Pinkos
Team Colors: Pink and Green
Roster:
Coaches: Following their brilliant performance last world cup both coaches will be back reprising their roles.
Caine Hawdon, Bazalonia
Former Coach of the Bazalonian National team, played an integral part in establishing the early days of Bazalonian soccer and helped push them to the heights they are at now
Special Advisor: Khim Azanulbizarn
Under Khim, Starblaydia made it through to the Last-sixteen from World Cups 25 to 30, finshing First, Second and Third in his time there, as well as advancing to the Second Round and Quarter-Finals. His last tournament before joining Az-cz was a second place finish losing to Bedistan after an winning every match preceeding the finals.
Players:
This is really the last hurrah for the Baptism of Fire winning players. With the captain from tha squad Zax-Im retiring after his stabbing in Vilita and many other players looking to finish this cup the original generation looks to continue to build the Az-cz reputation in Milchama and Geisenfried.
Forwards:
#9 - Stanleyinho
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 180 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 28
Stanleyinho and his brother Hubertino are not native Az-Czzers but both have immigrated from Brazil at a young age. Az-cz disapproves of hired hands playing for the national team but as the boys are long time citizens there is no problem. Along with being non native Az-czzers they are the two tallest players on the team. Stanleyinho is a wonderful striker. His ability to beat defenders is his strongest attribute. He has blazing speed and an ability to go around other players is hard to stop. He does have good heading abilities, but they aren't as strong as might be expected for someone of his height because there aren't many players in the -League who can match up for him in terms of height. His shot is also quite impressive as he can generally pick out where the ball is going to go. He rarely bombs them over the net like many players do. Was a key part of the Baptism of Fire championship and the Az-cz run to the second round of the Cup of Harmony.
#19 - Bub-Rub
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 155 lbs
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Age: 31
While Stanleyinho is the star non Az-czzer striker in the -League Bub-Rub is the star Az-czzer. The contrast of styles between these two players is suprisingly small considering the physical differences. Bub-Rub is both stronger and faster than Stanleyinho, which is hard to believe. Like most Az-Czid athletes he has learned to use his awesome athleticism to make up for his lack of height. The native danger sense that Az-czzers have makes him even more dangerous. More so than most Bub-Rub has tuned into this ability, which allows him to know when to shoot and when to pass so as to avoid tackles and blockers. Was a starting member of the Az-cz Baptism of Fire championship team.
#15 - Ox-Rx
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 185 lbs
Club Team: Golem Golems
Age: 32
Seemingly matched with his club Ox-Rx is one of the two strikers on the Az-czid national team from the Golem Golems. Quite large for an Az-czzer he puts his size to good use in league player. He is usally able to outmuscle most players to get to the ball and blast his shots past the keeper. He isn't as fast as either of the two star forwards but his speed is still quite good. He is hoping to make a splash on what will probably be his last run with the national team.
#14 - Uz-Gz
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 130 lbs
Club Team: Golem Golems
Age: 26
The interplay between Uz-Gz and Ox-Rx is quite an interesting one. While Ox-Rx uses his strength to win possession Uz-Gz is the master of the counter attack. He doesn't have the strength to win challenges that Ox-Rx does but h e is a master with the ball at his feet. He is the strongest dribbler on the team and in the open field is almost impossible to stop.
Midfielders:
#10 - Pizelkaxrovsky
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 170 lbs
Club Team: Burlock Jesters
Age: 27
Upon meeting Pizelkaxrovsky many people assume that he is not an ethnic Az-czzer. Many things about him are unorthodox, to be sure, but he is an Az-czzer through and through. Coming from a family that eschewed social conventions he has an interesting perspective on things. His name, far from Az-czid standards and without the almost entirely prevalent hyphen, is just one way in which he shows this oddness. He is also the most free wheeling and joking member of the Az-cz squad. He is the perfect face of a team called the Jesters. Usually this is an advantage but of the Az-Cz players he is the one most likely to do something outrageous in a game and get sent off. He has been ejected from games for things such as delay of games after excessive celebrations or sexual harassment of a Yang Knights fan in the middle of a game the Jesters were losing in the Shangri-la Cup. As for his play on the pitch Pizelkaxrovsky is a master creator. His vision is supreme in the -League and he led the league in assists despite playing with two rather average strikers on the Jesters. More so than even Bub-Rub he has honed his extra senses and never seems to make a wrong decision. He is also the freekick taker for the team and has a dazzling ability to place the ball where it needs to go. He was the Golden Ball winner for best player in the Baptism of Fire and advanced to the finals of the Legend Free Kick competition during WCxXx. He is far and away the most talented Az-czzer and rivals the abilities of any player anywhere.
#8 - Hubertino
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 200 lbs
Age: 30
Club Team: Yang Knights
While his brother honed his skills as a goal poacher Hubertino learned to play a much more balanced game. Hubertino is an all-around excellent player. Hubertino can comfortably play anywhere in the midfield but most of his time is spent in the defensive half of the midfield. Combined with Zax-im they give the Yang Knights an incredibly strong defensive midfield, such that some teams struggle even to get the ball to the back third of the Yang field, much less scoring. He has taken some time to get used to not having his partner with him on defense for the national team, but now it is truly his defense. His positioning and stamina makes it seem that he's always in the right place, whether to make a saving tackle, corrale a looseball, or recieve a pass.
#7 - Kn-Dg
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 21
Club Team: Yak Clerics
Kn-dg is rapidly developing and pushing the Yak Clerics towards previously unreached heights at the top of the -League table. He mostly plays on the wing using his speed to flash down the side to set up plays for the other players. He is an incredible athlete and his skills are improving all the time. Already a star he could be the best player in -League in a few seasons. Even despite his relative youth, he's already earned the job as the main corner taker, quite an honor and a responsibility for someone so young.
#16 - James Levesque
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 210 lbs
Club Team: Yak Clerics
Age: 20
Kn-Dg's strike partner and the son of former coach Roger Levesque, James Levesque is a brilliant attacking player. He also has good size which can cause considerable problems for the players around. That attacking pair is setting the -League on fire and look to do the same in the world cup. Now that he has a world cup under his belt he expects to be a much more dangerous and prolific player for the team.
#11 - Hmr-Pn
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 145 lbs
Age: 19
Club Team: Yak Clerics
Hmr-Pn has once again made the biggest improvement of all Az-czid players. From a suprise selection last cup to the one knew starter this cup, he is the third Yak Cleric to start in the midfield this time around. But his play in the midfield with Kn-Dg and James Levesque has really improved greatly. Although he is thought of as a central midfielder he will be playing back on this team as a defensive midfielder. With him back there the team will be a much more offensive minded force this tournament.
#12 - Bn-Dg
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 155 lbs
Age: 32
Club Team: Yang Knights
He's got a cannon shot and a good eye for the goal. He is a midfielder and has decent tackling and marking abilities, but he is definitely offensive minded. He led the champions in goals playing from the midfield and there are times when he functions as almost a third striker. Bn-Dg was a starting midfielder on the Baptism of Fire championship team, although he has lost his starting job for the upcoming tournament.
#13 - Lo-Ro
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 125 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Vertigo slimes
Lo-Ro is the backup defensive midfielder. Bypassed by Hmr-Pn for Zax-Im's starting position there was an expectation that he might feel upset, especially because he is a true defensive midfielder while Hmr-Pn is not. However in true Az-czid style he has gladly accepted his role. He is definitely expected to see time in matches where the Gnomes shift to a more defensive front.
17 - Ip-Gp
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 120 lbs
Age: 21
Club Team: Darzog Mages
Ip-Gp has developed tremendously from the last tournament. He is a rising star and is expected to see much more action this time around. He is one of the better penalty takers and might see time if such a position is needed. Ip-Gp is also one of the players who has been passed over but he has really developed and is also expected to see serious playing time off the bench.
#18 - Hu-35
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 130 lbs
Age: 17
Club Team: Darzog Mages
Hu-35 is the one new addition to this squad. He's an all around midfielder who is really coming on quite quickly in the -league. He is expected to see limited action here but is part of the fresh faces that will become a bigger part of the team as Az-cz progresses down the line. He fills the spot that Hmr-Pn and Ip-Gp filled before him as the last member of the squad.
Defenders:
2 - Mario Nerazzurri
Height: 6'8"
Weight: 225 lbs
Age: 27
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Nerazzuri is the third of the giant non ethnic Az-czzers on the team. He is however, 100% Az-czid. He is a third generation Az-Czzer and he fights to the nail for his beloved Pink & Green. Nerazzuri uses his height to good form to control the box. Arial attacks are basically doomed to failure against him and he has a good ability to sniff out other attacks as well. Generally a rock in defense. Nerazzurri is one of the leaders of the team, having captained the squad in the Cup of Harmony. Now with Zax-Im's retirement he steps up to the full captain of the squad.
3 - Ns-Ta
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 125 lbs
Age: 33
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Similar to Bub-Rub and Stanleyinho up front, Ns-Ta is the compliment to Nerazzuri at the back. He doesn't have the height to control the air but he has the speed and intellect to control the ground. He can read passes and player movement incredibly well and always seems to be in the right place to make a tackle or block a shot. His ability to lock down other teams goal scorers has a great ability to get under others skins. He led the -League in fouls commited against this year, for the ninth year in a row. Just a great defender. With the team losing Zax-Im he'll be called on even more to keep the other team off the board. Many wonder if this will be his last go around.
4 - Ml-Dni
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 34
Club Team: Golem Golems
Ml-Dni is a strong force from the left back. He plays solid defense, to be sure, but alot of time he can be seen pushing up the field to aid in the attack. He has a wonderful stamina which helps him get around the pitch. He also has a wonderful ability to spring counter attacks. If he disposses a player he often has a cross launched up field well before teams are ready to defend. Ml-Dni has already announced that he's retiring from international play after the cup.
20 - Haji-Me
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 195 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 19
Haji-Me is huge as Gnome players go. Already at the ripe young age of 17 he is proving to be a strong -League defender. He is both the youngest player on the squad and the youngest starter. He has recently been purchased by the Red Dwarf Rangers and looks to benefit from a move to a top club. Developed greaty during the recent season and the Cup of Harmony and looks to soon be the best defender in -League. With both Ns-Ta and Ml-Dni getting up in years his youth will be a great boost to the team.
5 - At-Zm
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 32
Club Team: Yang Knights
At-Zm is the alternate defender. While no one aspect of his game truly shines like the other four defenders he has no weaknesses as well. If a center back is needed he can play there, if a wing back is needed he can do that and if necessary he can venture into the midfield as well. He is a solid member of the team and is certain to see time for the Gnomes.
6 - Kz-Kz
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 144 lbs
Age: 24
Club Team: Burlock Jesters
Kz-Kz is a brutally physical defender. His technique and positioning are good but his ability to muscle other players around is his shining technique. His mental control has improved and continues to do so, however he still does have some tendency to commit silly fouls and he can lose his cool from time to time. He is not quite a main player of the team, but against physical opponents he might get an opportunity to show his skills.
21 - Du-Tre
Height: 5'7
Weight: 160 lbs
Age: 22
Club Team: Yak Clerics
Du-Tre is part of the youth movement at Yak Clerics who look to become the dominant team in the -League. Du-Tre is a blazing fast defender who makes plays that can spring the attack quite well. He tends to gamble to make things happen but can be provide a huge spark from the back line when he makes good plays.
Goalies:
1 - Gn-Lg
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 160 lbs
Age: 28
Club Team: Yang Knights
Gn-Lg is the tallest ethnic Az-czzer on the team. Using his height and his keen senses Gn-Lg has already risen to the top of the league. Since taking over as the number one goalkeeper for the Yang Knights he has pushed them back to the top of the league. He is incredibly unflappable and has a good sense on penalties. He even made PK saves against both Stanleyinho and Pizelkaxrovsky in the last season. He gives his entire team a sense of comfort that even if they make up theres still a good chance they'll be able to withstand the attack.
23 - Fr-Tld
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 30
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Fr-Tld is the second Az-Czid keeper. He is a very good keeper and should Gn-Lg miss a game for some reason Fr-Tld will be there to step in for him. Should benefit from chances to get more international experience in this upcoming cup.
Bu-Lv
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 130 lbs
Club Team: Yak Clerics
Age: 26
Bu-Lv is the former understudy for Gn-Lg at Yang Knights. He is a solid young keeper who looks to improve greatly now that he has his own team to lead, and an improving one at that, in Yak Clerics. He is the youngest of the goalkeepers. He expects to be third keeper for a while as both Gn-Lg and Fr-Tld should remain with the team for many years.
Formations:
The standard formation for the Az-Cz national team is 4-5-1.
The starters are Stanleyinho up front, Kn-Dg and Levesque playing very attacking midfielders, Pizelkaxrovsky in control in the middle and Hmr-Pn and Hubertino in defensive midfield positions. Ml-Dni and Haji-Me are the wing backs who often drift into the offense and Nerazzurri and Ns-Ta lock down the middle of the defense. The team also feels comfortable using a 3-5-2, or on occassion 3-4-3 formations. Despite the formation, 4-5-1, this is not a defensive team. Kn-Dg, Levesque and Pizelkaxrovsky all provide great offense and the defenders can chip in as well.
Representation from the -League Professional teams:
1. Yang Knights (2/4)

OOC: RP Permissions (ok so I needed to edit, but it's really Geis' fault for not including style with the RP Permissions)
Style +2
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers Y (please do)
Godmod Scoring Events Y (within reason)
RP injuries to my players Y (within reason)
Godmod injuries to my players N
Hand out Yellow cards to my players Y
Hand out Red cards to my players N

basically if it's something that doesn't affect my RPing options go ahead. That means killing my players, kidnapping them, turning them into zombies or what not are all out. But international incidents and what not are basically ok.
That's right. We're back, we play a zero, we have ugly kits, and we consider the rest of you as essentially subhuman/subwhateverelseyouare. Isn't it great?
But we'll still play a 3-1-2-1-3. Because that's just how we roll.

Bettia World Cup 32 Squad
Style Modifier
We don't do defence - we trash defence.
In typically gung-ho fashion, Bettia will be playing with as positive a style modifier as possible (+5), utilising a highly attacking 2-5-3 / 2-3-5 formation.

If RPing first, the FAB give our opponents permission to RP / godmod pretty much anything they like... just don't wear red, cos that's just taking the piss - and here in the Blessed Realm, it's liable to get you arrested.

STAFF BIO's
Manager - Stuart Moss - 35
Stuart has been with the national side since it's beginning, and despite some early set backs has built the team into the highly talented unit that will be displayed here. He may be one of the less conventional managers in football today, but he gets results and the fans love him for it.
Assistant Manager - Ria Gaskell - 24
Ria took over as assistant manager to the team at the end of last season and has done a sterling job of organizing the staff below her and keeping the morale of the team at the highest levels throughout. She was recently married and is expecting her second child.
Head Coach - Josh Melannis - 30
Josh transferred to the national team at the start of last season and was promoted to head coach with Ria's own promotion. He knows what he likes, and gets it without fuss.
Coach - Sam Jones - 21
Goalkeeper coach, Sam will drive out the best performances with the minimum of effort, and claw out 120% of her players talent when he feels like it.
Coach - Ian Holbeach - 40
A tactical generous, Ian's multi tasking skills allows him to fulfill several rolls for the team for no extra pay, including talent scout and general dogs body. On match day he will often be found in the bar chatting up the opposition's wives.
Physio - Tanya Gilmore - 23
A qualified nurse, Tanya is adored by the players who believe her to bring good luck to the team as the last time she missed a game they lost by four goals to nil.
Physio - Victoria Sevenoaks - 23
New to the support team, Vikky saw the job vacancy in the Fern Foxes match program and applied, she joined the team just three days before flying out to Az-Cz.
Publicity - Alysa Tiana - 24
As the Governor of neighboring Bovingtonia (Fort Europe Puppet nation) many questioned Alysa's reasons for running publicity for the Fort Europe side. However, she loves the job as much as the team love her and is doing a marvelous job.
SQUAD BIO's
GK - 01 - James West - 27 - Stape Harriers
The longest serving player on the Fort Europe national side, James joined the team in 2004 and has played more games than any other in the history of football in Fort Europe.
GK - 13 - Ed Russell - 22 - Kaytuo City
Ed transferred to Kaytuo last year for a staggering 34 million Commonwealth Euros, and is predicted to become one of the prominent names in the years to come.
GK - 23 - Tom Reas - 15 - Fortress FC
The youngest player in the squad, Tom took his club to glory this season as they won the Commonwealth Domestic Premier League for the third year in a row.
DF - 02 - Floe Peltsten - 20 - Stape Harriers
Floe followed in the footsteps of his father and joined the national team when he was 18, a year on and he is a regular in the squad with 31 caps to his name.
DF - 03 - Tim Forrester - 28 - Mirage FC
Team captain, Tim is one of the most experienced players in the team and has announced his retirement from International football at the end of this season. His leadership and skill will be sorely missed.
DF - 12 - Laura Harris - 17 - Latona FC
Laura joined the team at the start of last season to bring a bit of pace into the back row. She may be young but she has the confidence to carry through in any given situation.
DF - 14 - Shaun Pearson - 23 - Latona FC
With three seasons now under his belt, Shaun has become one of the teams most valuable players and has the leadership qualities to take over as captain next season.
DF - 04 - Murphy Lee -25 - Fortress FC
Never one to miss a game, even when advised against it, Murphy gives his all in any game, and more in the important ones. His free kicks are second to none, and he hasn't missed from the penalty spot yet.
DF - 15 - Mike Young - 24 - Assegai Developments FC (Assegai)
Transferred to Assegai's top domestic team at the end of the season, ninety five percent of his fan base are 16 year old girls.
DF - 20 - Aki Haddon - 19 - Kaytuo City
One of three new female players to grace the national team of Fort Europe, Aki is a powerful defender able to drive both the ball and the team forwards when most needed.
MF - 16 - Will Jones - 27 - Stape Harriers
A mainstay of the national side, Will may be no more than a backup for the team now but he is still capable of performing to the same level as anyone else. One interesting fact is that he owns 7 top end sports cars, one for each day of the week.
MF - 05 - Gemma Lloyd - 23 - Orson Town
The rock in the centre of midfield, nothing gets past this lady. Tall, blonde and stunning both on and off the pitch, you won't win anything against this starlet.
MF - 06 - Katherine Keller - 21 - Latona FC
Adding a burst of pace down the right side, Kathy's specialty is crossing the ball and is useful in set pieces with a powerful right foot.
MF - 07 - Ryan Holmes - 21 - Fortress FC
Ryan made the national team after a strong performance last year in the domestic Premier League and performs well as a playmaker for the side, able to hold the ball up and feed it with precision to where ever he wants it.
MF - 17 - Vicky Princess - 22 - Fortress FC
The second new girl in the team, Vicky was purchased by Fortress FC at the start of the season from Division 3 minnows Typhoon United and made an immediate impact with 8 goals from 12 games. She probably won't start often in this competition but the experience will be vital to her success in the years to come.
MF - 08 - Andy Fletcher - 23 - Assegai Developments FC (Assegai)
When Mike Young moved to Assegai, Andy insisted on tagging along. A strong and confident defensive midfielder, he doesn't get forward much but is highly reliable at the back. The Assegai Developments national side, rivals from The YoungWorld region are now in their second year in the NS World Cup.
MF - 18 - Mia Nevola - 21 - Ascama United
Little Mia is just 5'2" tall, but has been timed as the fastest player on the team, and her naturally strong left foot makes her an invaluable asset on the left wing, though she is more than capable of cutting inside and scoring with either foot. Scored 4 goals in the Baptism of Fire tournement this year.
MF - 22 - Edowine Sanjuan - 16 - Racing River Rapid
Edowine returns to the national side after a year out to get married and raise her daughter Sheri, but returns with the extra supporters and her own cheer leaders. She is a flamboyant midfielder who is always likely to do the unexpected in acrobatic style. She also claims she will play extra well in this tournament as her 17th birthday is this Saturday. Edowine scored her first international goal in the Baptism of fire tournement.
AF - 09 - Michelle Bishop - 23 - Stape Harriers
Top goal scorer in the Commonwealth Premiership two years running, Michelle knows where the goal is without the need to look, and finds the back of the net more often than not. Michelle was voted as The YoungWorld's sexiest personality in 2005, and says she enjoys modeling as a hobby, though has turned down recent offers to star in a porn movie. Michelle was the top scorer in this years Baptism of Fire tournement with 10 goals from just 7 matches.
AF - 10 - Chris Lessinger - 24 - Stape Harriers
Chris has a tendency to sit back and let others do all the hard work, then snatch the rebounds and get those vital tap ins at the back post. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
AF - 19 - Ian Sikes - 19 - Sirus Athletic
Ian has only made 6 international starts in the last two seasons, but has performed well in all of them and is long overdue a full start, his lack of experience and the superior talent of his team mates being the only thing holding him back. He was voted Sirus Athletics most valuable player last season.
AF - 24 - Del Jenkins - 26 - Fortress FC
Prolific would be an understatement for this goal scorer who once broke a goal post with an overly powerful shot. His age and pace however have let him down this season and he is unlikely to start a game in this competition.
AF - 11 - Karl Isaak - 25 - Fort Lakaria City
Fort Europe's star player, Karl has been with the national side for three seasons now and has at least another two in him. Michelle's equal in pace and score tally per game, he also collected the highest number of yellow cards last season, and again in the Baptism of Fire tournement, though no red ones yet.
AF - 25 - Josephine Blanchard - 16 - Racing River Rapid
The third new face in the team, Joey was born in the River Rapids Isabella Stadium, grew up in the stands and at 12 years old was selected for the national youth squad. Apparently she is still the 3R's mascot and guiding star after insuring the team’s survival in their first Premiership season this year.

SFF announce squad for WC32
TEAM MANAGER
Rodney Lowe [Age 67]
Universally loved in Schiavonia. Now into his seventh, and most likely final, World Cup Campaign
ASSISTANT TEAM MANAGER
Tony Tarmey [Age 45]
After a cup out of the limelight, Schiavonia's record goalscorer returns as assistant to Rodney Lowe. Most likely to be groomed to take Lowe's place next cup. He'll beinto his seventies by then, you know!
GOALKEEPERS
1. Chris Howard (Kingsbury Amsham [19] Caps:22 (for Socialist Romanistan))
Now, I know it might look like the SFF are stealing another nation's goalkeeper, but he is in fact Schiavone. He comes highly recommended from Harry Kool and Kenny Sanderson and he has more international experience than our second and third choice keepers put together.
2. Alan Frescoe (Welkay Lakeside [29] Caps:5)
3. Benji Cuerto (Socialist Romanistan [28] Caps:4)
Schiavonia's two back up keepers. Frescoe is a great shot stopper while Cuerto has a superb command of his penalty area. They don't have Holmes ahead of them any more.
DEFENDERS
11. Tarquin Freud (Kingsbury Monarchs [30] Caps:12)
Was thought to be a brighter prospect than Noel Fielding, but ineffective performances at World Cup 30 mean that he is now first choice reserve. If either centre back does slip up, there's a quality replacement biting at their heels.
12. Noel Fielding (Charles City [27] Caps:28 Goals:1)
Full-back Ed's younger brother, Noel has a great natural sense of positioning and is prefered in the starting team to Freud. He'll know that he has to perform to keep his place.
13. Nicolai Ferreira (Melston Rovers [32] Caps:37 Goals:1)
A player who proved that learning from the best can make you the best too, Ferreira was teh star in the middle of Schiavonia's defence during World Cup 31 qualifying. Vice captain.
14. Marco Danzer (Social Club de Sedgefield [29] Caps:2)
A very solid defender, probably more so than his two caps would suggest, but he has three very good players ahead of him vying for two places. Would walk into 75% of international teams.
16. Andy Bell (Kingsbury Monarchs [19] Caps:0)
This guy's uncapped, just like the first choice in his right-back position. But he's even younger, and hasn't even been in the Monarchs club side for long.
17. Ed Fielding (Charles City [29 (Captain)] Caps:31 Goals:1)
Ed Fielding is developing into the top bracket of left-backs in international football. The inclusion of his brother Noel should push him on to even greater things.
18. Mike O'Connor (Threlo Rovers [20] Caps:0)
A young understudy for Ed Fielding, more in the squad for the experience, and one for the future.
19. Billy Bird (Social Club de Sedgefield [23] Caps:0)
The successor of Enrique Williams at club level also gets the nod to do so at international level. Is quick, and possibly suspect defensively. Hopefully this will improve with experience.
MIDFIELDERS
21. Paul Moston (Charles City [23] Caps:0)
Moston impressed as Charles City won the Minor League of The League, so much so that he has made his way into the national team, and will take the role of midfield distributor
22. Alan Tiss (Welkay Lakeside [25] Caps:18 Goals:1)
Impressed last cup after replacing Fr. Symeon in the passing role in midfield last cup, but is more natural as the ball winner Should be better in his preferred position.
23. Ben Kerr (Spacewill Rockets [20] Caps:0)
Kerr will be the second choice ball-winning midfielder, and will more than likely see a fair amount of the action, as Alan Tiss would slip easily into any other part of the midfield if need be.
24. Will Caine (Threlo Rovers [31] Caps:39 Goals:12)
Now developed into the creative position in the midfield, Caine also has one of the best scoring rates ever for a Schiavone midfielder, and is now first choice set piece taker (although he'll have to fight Colin Chester for the ball.)
25. Isla Blige (Cartfield Athletic [16] Caps:0)
Isla is the younger sister of Shiela Blige, and is seen as the next big thing in Schiavone football. Is being groomed to take Caine's place as creative midfielder at some point during the next couple of cups.
26. Alex Greene (Threlo Rovers [28] Caps:10 Goals:1)
27. Graeme Cotten (Threlo Rovers [29] Caps:11 Goals:1)
It does seem a bit pointless to have two wingers in a squad for a team who generally don't use them, but there's always two included in case a change of tactics is needed. These are the new pairing, Greene and Cotten. However, Cotten can play in either the passing or creative positions if the team are short, while Greene also doubles up as a pacy forward should anyhting happen to Shiela Blige.
FORWARDS
31. Jerry Berry (Welkay Lakeside [18] Caps:0)
The second time the son of a former Sloths midfielder has been picked for the squad, Eric Berry's son will hopefully do better than Kenny Sanderson Jnr. Not that that will be difficult. A finisher in the Colin Chester and tony Tarmey mould, although possibly not quite as effective. Yet.
32. Juan Yates (Social Club de Sedgefield [23] Caps:0)
Yates is a bulky forward, and will deputise in the strong forward position. Possibly has some of weight in the wrong areas, but will hopefully put that right before he gets too old. (We're being nice, but he is what many would term as "a fat bloke".)
33. Colin Chester (Social Club de Sedgefield [27] Caps:28 Goals:33)
Well, this young fella's got a lot to live up to - he's stepping intothe boots of Tony Tarmey. But he's not done too badly so far, scoring against TnUI at World Cup 30. He's also in the same mould as Tarmey, a guy who can put the ball in the net, and do it well.
34. Arran Di Chula (Atletico Unimo [31] Caps:10 Goals:5)
Was considered too similar to Seamus Bradley to get much of a run in the team, but with Bradley retired, Di Chula should now get a decent run in the team.
35. Shiela Blige (Cartfield Athletic [21] Caps:5 Goals:2)
The first female player on the Schiavone roster. She's a crafty little runner, standing at just four feet nine in height. Has amazing ball control, though not as quick as her predicesor Edwards.
Retiring from the squad are...
Jack Holmes (Social Club de Sedgefield [37] GK Caps:47 Goals:1)
Herman Miller (Welkay Lakeside [36] RB Caps:4)
Enrique Williams (Social Club de Sedgefield [37] RB Caps:52 Goals:1)
Connor O'Faherty (Threlo Rovers [39] LB Caps:32 Goals:1)
Fr. Symeon the Bold (The Monastery of St Chariton the Confessor of Palestine [25] MP Caps:10 Goals:1)
Eric Berry (Welkay Lakeside MT [39] Caps:60 Goals:6)
Andy McGee (Welkay Lakeside [40] MP Caps:60 Goals:4)
Jermaine Edwards (Kingsbury Monarchs [36] FP Caps:63 Goals:52)
Seamus Bradley (Threlo Rovers [35] FS Caps:45 Goals:24)
First out of the squad is our first choice goalkeeper, who oversaw Schiavonia's defence during their best ever period defensively. However, was also between the sticks when the Sloths let in four against Bazalonia in their group stage opener, effectively knocking them out.
Both of the right backs in the squad are also gone, most notably is Williams, who has held up the sentiments of Schiavone wide play very well over the years.
O'Faherty was first choice left back during World Cup 29, but lost his place regularly to Ed Fielding, possibly a very underrated player in Schiavonia.
Fr. Symeon infamously disappeared midway through World Cup 31 and is now safely back at the monastery, where he'll never have to watch a game of football again.
Eric Berry was captain during World Cup 31, and was a great ball-winning midfielder in his day. However, the lack of midfield alternatives meant that he carried on for too long, effectively costing his team their place in the finals last cup.
Andy McGee was Berry's long term midfield partner in the passing role at both domestic and international level, and was Berry's predecesor as captain. Came in for Berry during the finals of World Cup 31, but age had taken it's toll.
Jermaine Edwards was the pacy member of the Schiavone attacking three, and his speed was his main weapon in making him the second most prolific goalscorer in Schiavonia's history (ahead of Tarmey, behind only Chester).
Seamus Bradley was the strong one out of the front three, and although his goalscoring rate was not as prolific as the other forwards he played with, his brute strength often paved the way for the likes of Edwards, Chester and Tarmey to score their goals.
Our first choice line-up is as follows...
1. Howard
19. Bird 13. Ferreira 12. N.Fielding 17. E.Fielding
24. Caine 22. Tiss 21. Moston
33. Chester 34. Di Chula 35. S.Blige
However, there are three alternative formations that are sometimes used. One is the traditional 4-4-2...
1. Howard
19. Bird 13. Ferriera 13. N.Fielding 17. E Fielding
26. Greene 22. Tiss 24. Caine 27. Cotten
33. Chester 34. Di Chula
...another, a less traditional variation on the same formation, a 2-4-2-2...
1. Howard
12. N.Fielding 13. Ferreira
19. Bird 22. Tiss 23. Kerr 17. E Fielding
21. Moston 24. Caine
33. Chester 34. Di Chula
...and finally, 3-5-2.
1. Howard
11. Freud 13. Ferreira 12. N Fielding
26. Greene 24. Caine 22. Tiss 21. Moston 27. Cotten
33. Chester 34. Di Chula
The SFF made themselves some dashing kits last cup, and we doubt they'll be changing any time soon.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/NEWI/schits.jpg
My opponent, if they RP first, can do whatever the hell they like. As long as it is in the Schiavone nature, and doesn't involve severely harming one of the major players.

Miceland Mice Roster
4-5-1
Style: -3
The following is also a list of the team that will take part in BoF of WC30
F - Fievel ChurchMouse, a irrepresibbly bright, positive and perky individual that is always opptimistic little mice who is the mousling of the group but has shown great football talent and may just be the first mouse to get a gig in another nation. #27
M - Sickly PlagueMouse, Sickly is not a carrier of plague or any other disease he just looks like he does. #34
M - Charity Fieldmouse, a mouse that accidently got himself trapped on an international trade ship that had gone around half the world. Fievel had managed to get himself back to Miceland and it's this determination that makes him a great midfield mouse. #63
M - Stuart Littlemouse, a mouse that was an orphan who's mother died after giving birth to him and his father had put him up for adoption because he could not cope with the loss of his father. Stuart had never known a decent family until he started licing with the Littlemouses and start to channel his problems into football. Oh, and he is also the leader of the nation the First Mouse.
M - Piper FluteMouse, the musician of the team has a knack of coming up with songs that seem to fit the situaition as required. He prefers playing his flute but does sing on the occasion where his flute is missing
M - Input ComputerMouse, the technologist of the team it seems there is not a computer-based device that he cannot operate. oh, and he's also a good midfielder
D - Sightless ThirdMouse, despite being blind from birth Sightless's hearing alwayshas been at the exctent that he did not need his sight to acurrately locate the ball even without a beeper inside.
D - Nibbler FatMouse, Nibbler is slightly plump and generally is always the closest mouse to the goal keeper. Nibbler isn't technically fat but he is certainly not in as good a physical condition as the majority of the team and has the lowest stamina but he can certainly make a couple of really good head on charges and engage an enemy attacker and has the mass to be able to physically check opponents.
D - Angel BalerinaMouse, an ex-Balerina who took up football here Ballerina style, grace and agility make her a perfect defender to be in the right place at the right time to remove the steal the ball from the opposing attackers
D - Reepicheap, the only mouse in the squad that no one knows their last name. "Reep" as he as affeciately known to those who call him Reepochip to his face. Reep has a violent streak, well actually a very strong sense of honour and if he decides that you have dishonoured him then expect some very harsh treatment. This couls come on or of the field but a on-field slight is usually dealt with on field. Though once the slight has been dealt with he doesn't bare a grudge. Unless shifty and underhanded measures are involved to ensure that he cannot get his payback and then the grudge is for his entire lifetime.
K - Pinky WinslowMouse(aka James LittleMouse), a slightly weird and near brain dead but his reaction speeds are second to none. However this is all just a cover for his real identity Stuart's fraternal twin. He seeks to take what he sees as his rightful position from Stuart, by force if necessary.
RP Permissions: Just don't kill anyone. Though Fievel and Sickly are to be the only scorers

Important Notes
There are two football associations in the Unified Capitalizt States, Capitalizt SLANI and the 자본가는 스포츠 연맹을 (Jabonganīn Sīpoçī ʼYūnmāŋʼīl) (abbreviated 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) or JSY). These FAs are called Commerce Heights and Commerce Heights JSY by the World Cup Committee, although these are not their real names. The nation that they are in is officially called the Unified Capitalizt States, though it is normally called Commerce Heights in an informal (or OOC) context. Should the name Commerce Heights JSY appear in an RP outside of a table, I’ll send my Giant Attack Tuxes—er, I mean, it’d be nice if you used the correct names. :p
(When TLAs are needed, Capitalizt SLANI’s is, for historical reasons, COM, and 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn)’s is JSY.)
Less Important Notes
Theoretically, anyone can play on either Capitalizt national team (unless they have previously played for another national team), since the UCS has no citizenship. In practice, however, the only foreigners that will play for the UCS are Lontorikans, since some Lontorikan clubs are part of the Capitalizt SLANI League.
In addition to normal eligibility requirements, Capitalizt SLANI and 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) have agreed that no player playing for a 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) club may play for the SLANI national team, or vice versa, unless the player had previously played for that national team (as is the case with Albin Krišanović, who were on the SLANI national team during WC29–30).

자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) has no fixed set of substitutes; substitutes are chosen for each match from a large pool of players (a full squad will be picked in the unlikely event that the team reaches the World Cup). If you need the name of a substitute in an RP, you may either make up a name or use the Capitalizt name generator (http://www.thirdgeek.com/namegen/XN-COM/).
Kits
To reduce confusion, SLANI and 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) have agreed to use the colors of the Sonoma Center Panthers and Port Lusambo Paladins, respectively, rather than green and gold kits.

Pretty much anything short of killing the players is acceptable for 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn), but any godmodding against Capitalizt SLANI should have a reasonable result. (But it’s up to you to define “reasonable.” :p )

Anastasiania
12-12-2006, 13:08
While the nation is still concentrating on winter sports, the Anastasianian Football Federation was allowed to announce the squad for World Cup 32 without much attention.
Goalkeepers:
1. James Young, Chadwick, age 21, av rating 5.83
Outstanding reflexes, but languishes in a mid-table club and would rather be signed by one of the top sides in The League of The League. Chadwick have reluctantly agreed to put him on the transfer list.
12.Kimmo Kivimäki, Lynnyvaara, age 27, av rating 5.36
An established goalkeeper with international experience, though he lacks the matching of a top level league. Got capped ten times during the last World Cup, and is expected to mentor the other talents.
23.Michael Hill, Olsö, age 22, goalkeeper, av rating 5.47
A rare English-speaker at Olsö, Hill was signed at age 19 from rapidly slipping Ruscal FC. The Olsö management have not regretted it, as he has been one of their outstanding players, and helped them to a thoroughly impressive fifth place in the Minor League last season.
Defenders:
2. Petri Rönkkö, Heino, age 22, left back, av rating 5.73
Rönkkö has done justice to his prodigious talent, and is now one of the best outright left backs in the country. He is one of few in the Heino squad to possess the quality required of the top league, with technique, flair, and a tackling strength second to none in the back four.
3. Mikko Paatelainen, Olsö, age 27, left wingback, av rating 5.85
Paatelainen somehow came on in leaps and bounds after signing with Olsö, and now rivals Rönkkö for a place in the side - which he may well get against the lower sides of the group. The fear, however, is that he lacks the required defensive skills against higher-ranked sides.
4. Johan Eklund, IK Oxberga, age 23, central defender, av rating 5.47
Eklund is an unspectacular central defender, who will likely partner Alan Reilly in the back four as the clearing guy. Unlikely to be involved in any attacking combinations.
5. Jim Clarke, Olsö, aged 26, central defender/left back, av rating 5.45
Clarke was signed by Olsö when they got promoted to the Minor League, and has so far done well at that level. A like-for-like replacement with Eklund.
13.John Lawrence, Bambury United, age 21, right back, av rating 5.30
A right back who has been called up as backup to Moore, he might not quite be up to world levels yet, as he struggles somewhat for pace. Good technical skills, however.
15.Jamie Moore, Gardwick Albion, age 25, right back/central defender, av rating 5.74
Moore has been working hard on his defensive skills since he was selected as a backup for the last World Cup, and is now a well rounded defender who puts in solid performances for Gardwick and the national team, having leapfrogged Grönroos into the side.
19.Alan Reilly, Shotterbury AFC, age 19, central defender, av rating 5.98
Reilly is physically well ahead of his years, the key to his success in The League of The League, where he has regularly been named Anastasiania's best defender. As well as having the compulsory header and tackler strengths, he is a cheeky ball-handler and controls both long and short passes well.
Midfielders:
6. Tuomo Moilanen, Heino, age 27, defensive midfielder, av rating 5.94
A midfielder with excellent vision, Moilanen is the player Anastasiania relies on to make the crucial through balls. Moilanen has improved to become Anastasiania's best player two years in a row, and can also be considered one of the best players of The League.
7. Tomi Hämäläinen, Heino, age 23, central midfielder, av rating 5.66
The midfield at Heino is particularly strong; Hämäläinen is the perfect partner to Moilanen, a quick, nimble player with plenty of heart for club and country.
8. Antti Johansson, Heino, age 26, right winger, av rating 5.69
Johansson moved to Heino two seasons ago after having gained enough experience with the national team to be fed up of mid-table dwellers Launavaara. Useful with the ball in his legs, but needs to get to it first, and also a keen goalscorer.
10.Mika Saarinen, Heino, age 23, left winger, av rating 5.35
Saarinen completes the four-man Heino midfield, and though he lacks the ball-handling qualities of the other three, he runs his heart out and usually gets into a decent crossing position. If the other dare give him the ball.
14.Petri Hakala, Määtelinna, age 24, left wingback, av rating 5.78
Hakala struggles to find a place in the squad because his qualities aren't needed at left back with both Paatelainen and Rönkkö occupying that spot; Hakala is thus forced to play as an out-and-out winger in the national squad, and doesn't quite suit that position. Hence he will have stiff competition from Saarinen.
18.Darren Mellor, Chadwick, age 24, central midfielder, av rating 5.50
Mellor, like Young, struggles to see any future at Chadwick, yet puts in consistent performances in the hope that some big club might consider his signature. A solid player, but lacks the flair of Hämäläinen and Moilanen.
20.Steve Cooke, Shotterbury AFC, age 23, attacking midfielder/winger/forward, av rating 5.78
Cooke is really a player suited for the hole between midfield and attack, but usually roams freely and gets involved in the crucial situations. In press opinion, his vision for the game is only surpassed by Moilanen, and he provided 16 assists in The League last season.
21.Tero Suhonen, Launavaara, age 23, central midfielder, av rating 5.47
Suhonen is another consistent midfielder who has forced his way into the squad, bringing the total Suomen-speakers in the midfield to six. Does his job at Launavaara adequately, but can surely not be more than a squad player at the highest level.
Attackers:
9. Marko Nyberg, Heino, age 26, striker, av rating 5.49
Usually, everyone - including Nyberg himself and the opposition goalkeeper - knows a second beforehand that Nyberg is going to score, as it's simply a matter of giving him the ball within 11 yards of the goal. Has so far made 44 goals in 103 games for Heino in interregional football, an outstanding record considering Heino's struggle to create chances at that level.
11.Juha Salo, Lynnyvaara, age 22, striker, av rating 5.53
Salo has blossomed under the fine youth program at Lynnyvaara, fulfilling expectations that he would enjoy a long and fruitful professional career. His contract with Lynnyvaara expires next season, and Heino has said that they are very keen on signing the Liga-golden boot winner.
16.Ian Clarke, Shotterbury AFC, age 28, striker, av rating 5.69
A late developer, Clarke got the chance at the top level as Shotterbury desperately needed strikers - and took it with both hands. The local papers keep track of the Clarke-Nyberg goalscoring match in The League, which is seen as almost as important as Shotterbury-Heino in itself; Clarke currently leads the battle 47-44.
17.Terry Porter, Shotterbury AFC, age 26, forward/right winger, av rating 5.54
Porter has been dubbed "Sir Ian's butler" in Shotterbury, as it is he who does all the work around the penalty area, but never gets the goals that Ian Clarke manages. However, with the management seemingly unimpressed with Clarke's recent performances, it may be that Porter will have to serve Marko Nyberg instead.
22.Mika Kuusisto, Määtelinna, age 28, striker, av rating 5.37
Kuusisto is a consistent striker who usually finds the net, but with little flair or technical expertise. He is mentally strong - with Määtelinna 3-2 down in a cup penalty shoot-out, he coolly slotted the fourth penalty (only for Juha Vuorinen to miss the fifth) - which may help him adapt to the international game, and has improved technically since the last World Cup. However, he is expected to be third reserve.
First XI: Young - Paatelainen, Eklund, Reilly, Moore - Saarinen, Moilanen, Hämäläinen, Johansson - Porter - Nyberg
Kits: Home: Dark blue shirt with yellow edges, white shorts. Away: White shirt, yellow shorts.

Starter Players:
Coach Charles DuPont is coaching the Sel Appa National Team for the third straight attempt for the NS World Cup Finals. He has done a remarkable job and is planning for a good qualifier run.
GK Vasily Kashchenko is renowned throughout Sel Appa for his abilities in the net. He expects his mastery in the net to show at Sel Appa's first attempt for the World Cup. He think Sel Appa has a good team and should at least make it into the tournament.
DF Kash Vasou is a rookie and little is known about him in major games. He was recruited because of his remarkable back-pitch abilities and ability to coordinate well with the goalkeeper. He was often said to be a second goalkeeper.
DF Bernard Apple is known for his coming "out of nowhere" and sending the ball far down the pitch with just a kick.
DF Jimmy Peech is known in Sel Appa as "The Wall" for his large size that allows him to block balls. He is a very important part of every defensive wall.
MF Jacques Latortue is well-known in Sel Appa for enabling swift connections between defense and strikers. It was once said that "the ball was heading back upfield before he even got it".
MF Colin Patette is a master midfielder and probably Sel Appa's best. He can work in almost any situation and ensures that the ball is always in front of him.
MF Arthur Mercator IV has a long football lineage going back to his great-grandfather Arthurt "Art" Mercator I. All have been excellent well-known players who have amazed many. Arthur's son, Arthur Mercator V, is also considering a professional football career.
FW Alan Dubrov is Sel Appa's youngest player at age 23 and is expected to be around for many more World Cups. He is considered one of Sel Appa's best footballers and is expected to put on a good show.
FW George Bedding saw his first international match after replacing injured forward Alan Dubrov in the match against Tocapa. However, he received a yellow card after only 15 minutes in game.
FW Lee Reshom is a fairly defensive striker and has rarely scored a goal. He focuses on trying to prevent opposing forces from attacking.
FW Estevez is widely regarded as Sel Appa's best footballer and has made over 100 goals in his career. He is well-known for being able to make virtually every shot, from corner kicks to free kicks to penalty kicks. He plans to show off much of his skills and would really like to help bring Sel Appa to the Final 32. He is the team's captain and does this job well.
FW Alex Nart is Estevez's attacking partner and the two are often seen charging down the pitch gracefully and often scoring a goal. Many regard him as a co- or vice-captain to Estevez.

The GNUs of HURD
The GNUs of HURD are a robotic team since for the HURDists it appeared more easy to find a robotic solution which is good enough to defeat the World champion in the time of half a year than some HURDist athletes.
The robots are Nassi-Shneidermann class robots in kid's size and they are programmed by a rather big community around them. The design and programming is still beta. Tyler or Zuse might even attempt to patch players during the match. The formation is a 5-4-1. The robotic goalkeeper is nicknamed lynx, no other players are named.

The Nedalia Lions
The Lions shall be playing a +5 modifier. Burn Karela Burn!!
MANAGER
Sam Dilford : Age 47
Failed to qualify to WC31, but was not considered to have done a bad job. Will have the task of leading the youngest Lions squad ever to the World Cup Finals, like he did in WC 30 and 29.
GOALKEEPER
Henry Tillment : Age-30 : Bronkstone FC : 23 caps
The obvious choice for the No.1 jersey. No doubt about his goalkeeping ability, is Nedalia’s star between the posts.
DEFENDERS
Gradd Corona : Age-35 : Brickell United : 107 caps/4 goals
The oldest member of the squad and also the captain, he is the defensive legend. Never has there been a more consistent or solid player in the Lions’ back four. Will hang up his boots after this tournament.
Jawad al-Hatawi : Age-24 : Bronkstone FC : 15 caps/1 goal
Solid all-around player who’s level headedness has been the key to his success. Mature, poised, and strong.
Cris Donne : Age-28 : Porasse FC : 36 caps/4 goal
Accolades upon accolades of praise and awards have been handed to his guy, and all justly given. Nedalia’s finest defensive talent, as solid as they come.
Khalil Khasem : Age-32 : Porasse FC : 50 caps/2 goals
Originally was given the starting spot as a temporary cover as a few younger, more talented players grew up; now, has the younger, more talented players permanently on the back-up role. The longest serving player on the squad after Corona.
MIDFIELDERS
Jesmin il-Mohafet : Age-28 : Aanjar FC : 33 caps/11 goals
Has been called the heartbeat of the team; simply put, when his creative juices are flowing, he’s unstoppable. Perhaps the most skilled player in the country, has the ability to change the course of a game.
Cevello Dunna : Age-20 : Captera Athletic : uncapped
The NPL Champions’ latest protégé earns a starting spot to replace Houdini in the squad, but is a totally different player. Where Houdini was full of flair and attacking skill, Dunna is a much more traditional DM, strong and defensively apt.
Marcus Iopa : Age-22 : Groftanne AC : 12 caps/ 7 goals
Has turned out to be a great talent after his controversial selection for the WC 31 squad. Captained the AOCAF 17 squad, and is now ready to show is full talents on the universal stage. Blistering pace, and in typical Nedalian fashion, very skillful with the ball.
Hakim Atwanash: Age-21 : Dorpar AC : 5caps/1goalsReplaces former captain and star player Constantine, so has big shoes to fill. Showed his talents in the AOCAF 17, however, and has the potential to be more than capable of that task.
STRIKERS
Julian Kassem : Age-23 : Shoreland United : 18 caps/5 goals
Has become a full time starter after megastar Tim James called it quits. Fast, powerful, and has a deadly shot, Nedalia’s finest all-around striker. Has been around so long its easy to forget how young he really is.
Jimmy Kelly : Age-32 : Captera Athletic : 76 caps/40 goals
Nedalia’s deadliest goalscorer ever, bar none. Will be participating in his last WC, after which he will participate in his final NPL season. Has lost none of his ability to put the goal into the net. If the Lions have a dangerman, he is it.
Northern Caesarea
15-12-2006, 18:39
Goalkeepers
1. CUELLAR, Iván Alcalá FC 36
He has been the national team goalkeeper during 10 years. Very performing player, his only problems comes with high shots
12. ORTEGA, Joaquín Flamingo Ríos 24
A young goalkeeper known as "The Cat", for his high jumps.
25. FRANCO, Leonardo Español Escolano 33
Always at the shadow of Cuellar, he waits his chance to be recognized as the best goalkeeper in Northern Caesarea. Very spectacular.
Defenders
2. MARTÍNEZ, Francisco Olímpico Salinas 30
The right back who gave two championships to the capital team. He's very fast and loves to participate in attacking plays.
3. Barjoan, SERGI Inter Barrio 31
Fast and with a very good game vision. Likes to help in offensive game. Always at the right place. Plays as left back
4. CAPDEVILLA, Jordi Borussia Gamazo 27
A brick wall for the rival strikers. He stops them with his great physical strength. Central defender.
5. SOLER, Alex Español Escolano 18
A young central defender who seems a very veteran one. Knows how to stop a rival striker
14. MOLINERO, Francisco Ajax Quiroga 34
All strength and stamina, he's also known for his aggresivity and bad temper. Also known as "Francisco Carnicero" (Francisco The Butcher). Central defender
16. CAMACHO, Gerard Español Escolano 31
Resourceful right back. Very good at penalties, corners and free kicks
17. Rivera, JOAQUÍN Flamingo Ríos 30
Can play as central defender or defensive midfielder
18. PASTOR, Eduardo Flamingo Ríos 27
A real cupboard in the center of the defense
21. PEREA, Luis Español Escolano 35
This central defender is always well placed to destroy rival game. Speed and excellent game vision
22. IBAÑEZ, Pablo Olímpico Salinas, 27
Excellent left back. He will fight with Sergi for the post.
Midfelders
6. BEGINES, José FC Berenguer 29
Attacking midfielder. The hearth of the team, which pumps balls and passes to all the midfielders and forwards.
8. RÍOS, Francisco Alcalá FC 28
A real "Joker", can play as midfielder or winger with the same good results
10. SOLÁ, Roberto Español Escolano 25
One of the good surprises of last season. Plays as right winger
11. MATEO, Juan Antonio Flamingo Ríos 32
Very fast left-winger with good shot accuracy
13. CASTRO, José Alcalá FC 22
Another young miracle from the Alcalá factory. He's an excelent defensive midfielder, a bit slow.
19. MÁRQUEZ, Aitor Dinamo Maura 24
Creative and technical left-winger. Very good passes
24. NOVO, Álvaro Ajax Jover 36
A classic of the NCFL and the National Team. His position, right winger, is known as "Novo position". Speed and quality.
Forwards
7. URRUTIKOETXEA, Eduardo Flamingo Ríos 25
Young and very technical. The coach expects a lot of him
9. TORRES, Fernando Alcalá FC 29
Fresh and a terrific striker. He his the top-scorer of the league. Technical and opportunistic. Get rival defenders mad.
15. Jiménez, JAVI Español Escolano 33
Fast and accurate. A nightmare for rival defenders.
20. TOLEDO, José FC Berenguer 30
Uses his enormous physical strength to "wash away" defenders. Also known as "The Bulldozer"
23. SALMERÓN, Nicolás Borussia Gamazo 34
Stamina and personality for the attack game. Never considers a ball lost.
You can do anything you fancy except killing somebody or injuring or expelling more than 3 players.

Coach John Hartless has made the following annoucement
"There will be roster changes for the next match between the Socreds and Quakmybush. The arrangement will go to a more defensive 5-1-4. I have also decided that Henry will replace Williams at keeper, and McClure will be benched while Armstead and Cobb take his place in the defence. Both the midfielders will be benched and Hudson will control the midfield. In the forwards Mosley, Wilford, Barber and Field will be there. That is all."

MID: Mr. Eric Praline (Captain), Prof. R.J. Gumby and Tim the Enchanter.
ATT: Arthur Wilson 1, Arthur Wilson 2 and The Black Knight
Subs:
GK: Prof. Enid Gumby
DEF: Jimmy Blenkinsop 2
MID: Prof. F.H. Gumby
ATT: George Head and Jimmy Blenkinsop 1(Reserve Captain)
Kit:
The team will wear handkerchiefs on their heads, with small moustaches (that can be real or fake), spectacles, braces, knitted vests, a long-sleeved shirt rolled up to the elbows, and gumboots. In away matches moustaches will be longer.
Notes
*All of the team are men (I think)
*The captain, Mr. Eric Praline, may be throwing and hitting a dead parrot at the beginning of the match, claiming it is not dead. Please ignore these claims as the parrot is resting.
*The rest of the team will be performing the traditional "Fish Slapping Dance" at the beginning of the match.
*If ether D.P. Gumby, Prof. R.J. Gumby, Prof. Enid Gumby or Prof. F.H. Gumby say "My brain hurts!", don't count it as an injury as they have been practicing Brain Surgery.
*Also, if George Head commits a foul, remember that he has just been trying to build a bridge between the two peaks of Kilimanjaro. His brother has still not been found.
*The defence are all French as they have an outrageous French accent, and will force you to go away and say your father was a hamster or they shall taunt you a second time.
*Who is the person that can summon fire without flint or tinder? There are some who call him... Tim.
* The Black Knight shall let no men pass or they will die (if the mighty controller of the roster allows it). The Gumbies stiched his legs back on during brain surgery.
Style Modifier: +4
(P.S. - These players were out getting drunk, thinking that they had won the blind world cup, but sadly they had lost in the Final. The Gumbies then had to perform brain surgery on themselves but as well as fixing them it made their brains slightly larger so they can now say "Flower Arranging!"
(P.P.S. - Players were drafted in from "The Great Google" to play in the first 5 (including friendly) matches. That is why in these matches, as you may have noticed, they were focusing on trying to recruit "Osama Bin Laden" to head their costumer services, instead of playing football. I still don't know they scored goals though, but they will NEVER come back. Ever.)
You can do whatever you like, apart from banning the fish slapping dance, killing, injuring or dismissing more than 2 players.

THE IMPERIAL SQUAD FOR WC 33
Erm, now that they've qualified for the World Cup - despite a near total lack of involvement in qualification, and despite a ranking of 70 - the Holy Empire Football Association have woken up to the sudden need to post a roster.
In keeping with the recent success of the autonomous Imperial territory of the Archregimancy, HEFA hereby confirm that they are playing with an anonymous XI throughout qualification and the finals proper.
As the Monastic Football Association keep pointing out, 'they can't scout you if they don't know who you are'.
HEFA promise to post a proper roster once they have more time on their hands in WC 34.
COACH:
World Cup Hall of Fame Legend Juan Tzimisces. Quite probably the only active participant in WC33 who actually played in WCs 1-4 (we mentioned that time passes differently in the Dreamed Realm, right?).
KIT:
Home - Yellow shirts / red shorts with black trim
Away - Red shirts / yellow shorts with black trim
TACTICS:
Now that we've qualified with a presumed +0 style modifier (if this WC has style modifiers), let's throw it all away! Woo-hoo!
Frosty football is attacking football. The Holy Empire plays 3-5-2 with overlapping wingers (converts to 3-3-4 when attacking), for a +3 (or thereabouts) modifier.

THE ARCHREGIMANCY SQUAD FOR WORLD CUP 32
(I can't be bothered correcting my other nation's post above, where I thought it was WC 33; sorry)
The anonymous squad of humble God-fearing monks is the best tactic the MFA have ever come up with, and they're sticking to it. At least until World Cup 33.
Coach:
Fr. David the Water Drinker: a former captain of the national team, and the first Western Rite monk to captain and coach the national squad, he spurns the heretical properties of gatorade in favour of the cleansing power of pure spring water.
Kit:
Home - all black with white collar
Away - all white with black collar
Tactics:
The Archregimancy always plays an Orthodox 4-4-2 formation, +0.

The Roster again
After becoming number 12 in the world and hosting the cup Jamie Smith has decided to hang up his whistle after this campaign. The Milchamian press is already declaring that they should win one for the Weegian. Here's the squad he's hoping to win with.
The Roster:
Gk: Clay Finton- A great goalkeeper who makes many great saves and has forced Tuck Koolerc out of a spot where he looked entrenched to be keeper for a long time. Still looking for a boost of confidence after a disastourous
World Cup.
D: Casey Stockholm- A good wing defender who got to start after his play on the ball made Jamie Smith take him barely over Brandon Callers.
D: Chase Mergle- Very fast for a centerback and that allows him to cover a lot of ground in a very short time. His speed has helped the Mongolian Horses avoid relegation this year.
D: Martin Hansen- A lot like Casey Stockholm on the other side. The only difference being Stockholm is a little bit better on the ball and Hansen is a little bit better on the defensive side. Made a great partnership in friendly games.
M: Nicholai Marchakov- Athletic fast and good ball control. Looks like a younger Darian Flinters and much more like the first generation of Milchamian wings unlike Lonnen and Manin. Suprisingly got included in the squad.
M: Del Clufor- A little speedy center mid. Does not have the passing skills of Antoine Sanchez but his little runs thru the defense remind people of a mix between Johnny Rintell and Darian Flinters.
M:Barrett M. Lonnen- Destined to be the next great Milchamian player. How can we tell? He has the middle initial that he puts in his name that nobody knows what it stands for like Marc J. Floren. Can help the counter attack.
F: Marin Keffer- Was a starting midfielder for the Milchama B team at 15 but did not make last U21 squad because of a mistake by Patrice Thibault. This time a starter and he wants to show Thibault he made a bad mistake.
F: Kelvin Joseph- A natural scorer who after a very successful campaign last time off the bench became the official starter over Spot Nielson.
F: Floren Albentine-A great goalscorer who did his job replacing Floren very well in the last WC. His play will be key as he is the one that many charge as replacing Floren. Success or failure in this, according to many, relies on him and his adjustment to international football.
F: Aaron Kary- The teammate of Floren. His crosses have been compared to Faren's and many consider him to be better than J.J.
Subs:
F: Tilar Flitty- Did great for the B team and now comes up to the A for the first time as the first sub. Is expected to make Joseph look better and win games off the bench like Bantin and Joseph before him.
M: Kenny Rintell- Johnny's son. An absolutely wonderful central midfielder who is probably better than his father. Will play on the Milchamian team for a long time. Is still really young and looking to get better.
GK: Halutz Dalton- Big kid. Known for stopping shot based on his frame alone. His actual goalkeeping abilities have been questioned but he did win the starting job. So that should put them to rest, for a while anyway. Somehow chosen over the Fletchers.
D: Daig Mitchell- Hard tackling central defender who was known among his peers for hsi excess of cards. However this has been curbed considerably he still has a bit of temper. We hope he can keep it under control. Got the sub job to help himself with the temper.
F: Avi Belmowitz- (Godmod) Lans seems to have some special plan for him as he is the least proven player on the squad. However, his talent seems amazing but he will be closely watched to see how he does.

BRADDOCK ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN CAFUNDÉU’S SQUAD LIST
Today the coach of Cafundéu’s National Team announced the changes that will be made in the squad for the final stages of the World Cup. Five players will be changed and one member of the staff. The coach also said why he made these changes, and is certain that these changes will make the National Team better. The changes are the following:
1st change: Goalkeeper change: Olívio Cão will substitute Pedro in the place of third goalkeeper. The reason is that Pedro is too young and won’t hold the pressure if he plays in such an important competition. So, these are the details of the new goalkeeper of the NT:
23-Olívio CÃO (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 205cm - Weight: 94kg – Age: 38 years old
Cão is one of the legends of Cafundó do Juta. After playing for more than twenty years in one of the most important teams of the country, he became famous. Is known as a very concentrated and professional goalkeeper. Many people say that he isn’t a great goalkeeper, but he doesn’t make mistakes and this can be very important in special games. Cão also has the confidence of his team mates, and his experience can help the other players. But he is reaching the end of his career, so his reflexes aren’t the same.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: B
2nd change: Defender change: Estéfano Brunnés will substitute Danilo Ducas in the place of third defender The reason is that Ducas isn’t in top conditions, as he is reaching the end of his career and can’t play well against bigger teams. These are the details of Brunnés:
16-Estéfano Borges BRUNNÉS (Team: A.F.F.)
Height: 168cm - Weight: 74kg – Age: 24 years old
Brunnés is a very skilled defender, who can tackle his enemies with accuracy. He isn’t tall, so he isn’t very good in defending corners or crossings. But when the ball is on the ground, he is an excellent defender, normally waiting for the opponent to took the ball from him. He also has a very good passing, and usually helps the defensive midfielders, even creating some plays for the team. But even playing in the National Team now, he still isn’t considered one of the best defenders of the country.
Rating: C - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Form: A
3rd change: Midfielder change: The midfielder Goiaba will substitute Saulo Menzir. Menzir isn’t playing very well and Braddock decided to put a more offensive midfielder in his place. His first choice was Georgious Metir, but Metir is playing the indigenous World Cup, so Braddock decided to pick his team mate Goiaba, who is returning from an injury. Here are his details:
17-Vladmir Caetano Polegar “GOIABA” (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 183cm - Weight: 76kg – Age: 27 years old
Goiaba isn’t considered the best midfielder of his team, as his team has the best midfield of the country, with players like Menzir, Hauser, Metir and Husen. But he is clearly one of the most important players of the team, as he creates very good plays and goal chances for his team with his perfects passes and good dribbles. He isn’t very good in his finishing, but he can even help the defense sometimes. He has been very important in the squad as he is very intelligent and has a lot of tricks, but he was injured for some time and is just now returning to the fields.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: B - Morale: C - Form: B
4th change: Midfielder change: Jão Kimball will substitute Leonardo Hauser in the place of third attacking midfielder. As Menzir, Hauser’s last form was far from good, and Braddock decide to include a player who is in top form to play for the National Team. Here are his details:
15-Jão Arnaldo KIMBALL (Team: Atlético Jutense)
Height: 188cm - Weight: 92kg – Age: 25 years old
Kimball was considered only a average player until last year, when he was the main responsible to win the national league title with Atlético Jutense. With his fast plays, good dribbles and strong shots, he defeated many opponents and began to be a star in the national football. Now he has a chance in the National Team, and he is able and ready to show why he could change so much in a year, and how he can change the fate of the game. His defensive abilities aren’t very good, but the offensive abilities are very good, and he is on top form.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: A
5th change: Attacker change: Vítor Resitiv will substitute Ralf Incisivo in the place of fourth attacker of the team. Incisivo was injured on the last game of the National Team against Backwardistan, and won’t be back until the next semester. Here are his details:
19-Vítor Ressaca Itivil “RESITIV” (Team: Ranca Toco)
Height: 175cm - Weight: 80kg – Age: 23 years old
His nickname was created with the first letters of his surnames. He is a strong attacker, who has a small dribbling ability, avoiding his markers with his body. His shot is very good and he uses his head well too. He plays a vital role in his team, being the favourite player of the fans. When a defender is holding the ball, he presses him until he gets the ball. He already scored many goals with his strategy. But many people think that he is violent, so not all his team mates like him.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Form: C
Staff Change: João Canabrava, Cafundéu’s assistant coach, was fired by the board of directors of the confederation after his comments about the team made in the last game. His substitute is the extremely tactical Rivaldo Sodré.
Assistant Coach: RIVALDO SODRÉ
Height: 179cm - Weight: 86kg – Age: 48 years old
Sodré doesn’t have the confidence of the directors or of the players, but he is respected, as his knowledge about football is huge, and he can help the team very much creating good strategies for each game. He was never a coach, only an assistant in many teams, as SC Lasft and Central United. He is very happy to be now in the National Team, and will use all his abilities to make the team win their games.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: D - Morale: A - Confidence: C
Now the list of the players is:
1-Julio VARGAS (goalkeeper)
2-Flávio VANDICK Coletti (full-back)
3-Ray KIRS (full-back)
4-BECÃO (defender)
5-ANORMAL (midfielder)
6-Marcos Afonso PRIOTTO (midfielder)
7-Ricardo Steppt KLIEK (midfielder)
8-Gustavo MERCEGUES (midfielder)
9-GANZ IJAK (attacker)
10-José Bebum BRAHMA (midfielder)
11-HEITOR Abbade (attacker)
12-DUREPOX (goalkeeper)
13-SÁVIO FERRARI Andrada (defender)
14-MANUEL PADARIA Gama Cabral (midfielder)
