Official Hosting Bid for the Kingdom of Noremark (WWCVII)
Tyenestem Yerten Jud nor den Konderk et Noremark (KVKVII)

The beautiful country of Noremark, an evergreen paradise nestled in the region of Democracy, is more than willing to host the seventh installment of the Women’s World Cup. Although only having participated in the sixth installment of the Women’s World Cup with dismal results, the national team of Noremark has vastly improved and the government has made available the venues and accommodations necessary to host both a national league and a national team. The capability to do so prompted the Minister of Culture to conduct a feasibility study on whether or not it would be possible to host the Women’s World Cup in Noremark. The study proved a success, and with the support and financial backing of the government, the Ministry of Culture presents Noremark’s bid for the 7th Women’s World Cup…

Tournament Format
32 Teams – 8 groups of 4 teams where top two teams advance to a sixteen team knockout elimination tournament. In the group stage, each team will play each team in its group once.

28 Teams – 7 groups of 4 teams where top two teams advance to a sixteen team knockout elimination tournament. In the group stage, each team will play each team in its group once. Since only fourteen teams advance, the top two third place teams will be awarded the fifteen and sixteenth spot. If needed, a wild card match will played on the break day between the group stage and the knockout stage.

25 Teams – 5 groups of 5 teams where top three teams advance to a sixteen team knockout elimination tournament. In the group stage, each team will play each team in its group once. As only fifteen teams advance, the sixteenth spot will be awarded to the top fourth place team. If needed, a wild card match will be played on the break day between the group stage and the knockout stage.

20 Teams – 4 groups of 5 teams where top two teams advance to an eight team knockout elimination tournament. In the group stage, each team will play each team in its group twice.

Venues
A total of ten stadiums in the nine different major cities of Noremark are ready to host the World Cup. The venues for the group stages will be decided once the number of teams is set, however the venues for the quarterfinals, semifinals, third place match, and the final match have all been decided.

Final: The National Stadium of Noremark – Kanal (85,000)
3rd Place: TeleNore Stadium – Amherst (65,000)

Semifinal 1: Nordstrom Arena – Hillenore (60,000)
Semifinal 2: The Hammerhead – Telemark (62,500)

Quarterfinal 1: Royal Field – Krona (60,000)
Quarterfinal 2: The Fortress – Kastellet (55,000)
Quarterfinal 3: Frederik I Memorial Stadium – Sondrestromen (48,000)
Quarterfinal 4: Torro Field – Nielsen (50,000)

Technical/OOC
If selected as host, I will be using NSFootySim to scorinate the matches. I have played with it and familiarized myself with the workings, so the scorination of matches should run smoothly. An RP Bonus will be used. The group draw will be completely random (picked out of a hat!). For the knockout stage draws, I will rank all qualifying teams in order based on performance in the group stage and use that to seed the teams. All schedule/venue information will be finalized and provided once/if Noremark is chosen to host the 7th Women’s World Cup.

In conclusion, we are confident in our hosting abilities and feel that our nation is qualified to host the seventh installment of the Women’s World Cup. Feel free to ask any questions regarding our bid, and thank you for considering our bid.

You don't think there's a correlation there?

At least for me it seems like there's matches upon matches and then Jeruselem win in the end. (Not too different from the men's World Cup, of course, but there's some breathing space between each, and the men's WC have the inherent advantage of a reasonably popular world event)

Women’s World Cup 7
Cafundéu hosting bid

(Cafundó do Juta, Cafundéu. 27/11) – The CFFC(Confederação de Futebol Feminino de Cafundéu – in English, the Cafundéu’s Female Football Confederation) decided to put a hosting bid, willing to host the Women’s World Cup, that is reaching to its seventh edition.

CFFC already decided most of the details, and is sure that Cafundéu is more than able to hold such an important event. The level of the stadiums and infrastructure of the cities are very good, and preparations can be made easily.

The population hopes to see the best national teams in women’s football. See below details of Cafundéu’s hosting bid:

1-Group Format: 4, 6 or 8 groups, with number of teams per group definited after number of signups. Minimum of 16, maximum of 48. The best 3, 5 or 7 teams(depending on the number of groups) will be on separated groups, and the hosts too. After that, the other teams will be divided in pots. Teams in the same pot won’t be on the same group(World Cup format). In 4-group competition, the second phase will be already the quarter-finals. But in 6 and 8-group system, the Round of 16 will be played(called oitavas-de-final).

2-Scorination System: CFFC is open to suggestions from other countries. There are two ideas: the first one is the Cafundéu’s dice-ranking system. The performance of the team will be decided with a dice roll and after that a bonus will be added. The bonuses are the following:

For the group phase:

+2 if the team puts a complete roster
+1 if the team RPs details about its roster or comments about the group.
+1 if the team already played the WC before.
+1 if the team played at least 3 World Cups.
+1 if the team already reached the knockout stage.
+1 if the team already reached the semifinals.
+1 for the better ranked team(Qazox rank).
+1 for the hosts.
(Maximum of 8)

Example: Cafundéu put a detailed roster, played the WC once and are the hosts. So, +5. It’ll play against Jeruselem, that puts a detailed roster, played more than three WCs, reached the semifinals more than once and it’s better ranked. So, +8. Jeruselem has 50% more chances to win, as the perfomance will be decided on the dice.

For the second phase:

+1 if the team already won the WC.
+1 if the team made good RPs during the group stage.
(Maximum of 10)

- The second idea is to use NSFootySim, as shown in page 3, with bonus to RPs and using WC previous campaigns as basis for the ranks.

3-Dates of the games: The group stage will be decided in one week. After a short break, the second phase will start, with two matchdays for each phase:

Day 1 to 7: Group Stage
Days 8 and 9: Rest
Days 10 and 11: Oitavas-de-Final(Second Phase Round of 16)
Day 12: Rest day.
Days 13 and 14: Quarter Finals
Day 15: Rest day.
Days 16 and 17: Semi Finals
Day 18: Rest day;
Day 19: Third Place Game
Day 20: Final

If the championship begins after 3/12, this schedule will be probably used:

Day 1-7: Group Phase
Day 8: Rest day
Day 9: Oitavas-de-Final(Round of 16)
Day 10: Rest day
Day 11: Quarterfinals
Day 12: Rest day
Day 13: Semifinals
Day 14: Rest day
Day 15: 3rd place game and Final

I’m open to suggestions about the dates too.

4-Host Cities: Cafundéu decided to include 16 host cities. Note that some can be not used:

Cafundó do Juta: capital of the country, Cafundó do Juta is a big metropolis, with many things to do. The police is well funded and the economy is great. The stadium is Praça Maior, with capacity of 100,000 and the most modern of the country.

Lasft: second biggest city, Lasft is another big city, but more beautiful than Cafundó do Juta, since it’s on the seaside. People from around the world come to Lasft every year because of its beaches. The stadium is the Obleisco Monumental, with capacity of 80,000 and it’s very modern too.

Dunboor: this city is big, but it isn’t too visited by tourists, because of its very cold weather. But it’s good for business and the biggest mines of the country are in Dunboor. The stadium is the Maracatu Arena, with capacity of 60,000 and less modern than the biggest ones.

Central City: as the name says, this city is located in the centre of the country. It has one of the biggest airports of the country and has a chaotic traffic. As the city is located in an area of mountains, it has many tunnels. The stadium is the Toca do Tatu, with capacity of 55,000 but very modern.

Carandirú City: this city was very interesting in the past, but now it’s only used to hold prisioners. Cafundéu’s army is located there, too. It’s called the “prison city”. The stadium is the Presídio, with capacity of 75,000 and good infrastructure.

Elville: a peaceful city, with few high buildings and many farms. But its citiziens love sports, and because of that Elville was chosen to be one of the hosts. The stadium is the Parque do Sol, with capacity of 60,000 and normal conditions.

Penderia: the city is very big, and is an important city because of its location, in the border of the country. A huge fort was built in the city, and some tourists like to see the old buildings. A historic city. The stadium is the Campo de Batalha, with capacity of 77,000 and good infrastructure.

Submiria: another city located on the seaside. But Submiria has only one beach, the other parts of the city are flooded. But special houses are build on these parts. The city is very interesting and has a very good nightlife. The stadium is the Aquário Maior, with capacity of 50,000 and very modern.

São José: the oldest city of the country, São José has many historic buildings and tourist points. But nowadays it doesn’t have economic importance. The stadium is the Estádio Pioneiro, with capacity of 120,000 but in very bad conditions.

Espinal: the party city. Tourists come to Espinal because of its wonderful nightlife and big parties. As the city is located on the seaside, its beaches are much visited too. The stadium is the Ernesto Honesto’s Ground(homage to the former mayor), with capacity of 40,000 and good conditions.

Astari: another economic centre, is the home of two of the biggest companies of Cafundéu: the C-Eletronics and the Uranium Kings. Business are constant there. The stadium is the C-Eletronic’s Stadium, with capacity of 80,000 and very modern, but the confederation doesn’t like it very much.

Al-Zalabahad: arab immigrants founded this city, and surprisingly it became the biggest source of petroleum in the country. Most of the population of this city is muslim and they live in peace with the other citiziens. The stadium is the Mohammed Field, with capacity of 50,000 and very modern.

Compos: a small city in the countryside, Compos is a quiet city, but very important for the primary sector of the economy. Its people is very friendly and symphatetic. The stadium is the Latifúndio, with capacity of 40,000 and nice conditions.

Tijhus: this city is very near from Cafundó do Juta, and it’s very big too. But doesn’t have the same importance as its “sister”. But it’s very interesting too. The stadium is the Tijhus Stadium, with capacity of 45,000 and modern.

Lux: has the highest IDH in the country and one of the highest in the world. So, it’s considered one of the best cities to live. It has good security, education and healthcare. The stadium is the Emperor Van Tocco’s Arena, with capacity of 50,000 and very modern.

Srieht: like São José, is a very old city with historical importance, but not important in economy. Is the hometown of the emperor and it’s a religious place too. The stadium is the Templo Colossal, with capacity of 50,000 and medium conditions.

5-The refereeing: referees from many countries, the best ones, will take part in the WC if Cafundéu wins the hosting competition. Cafundéu has good referees, including Carla Almahda, Karine Lagos Souza and the funny Van-Der-Lei. Other countries can send their referees as well.

6-Any doubts, please ask me. If you want to know something, feel free to send a telegram to me or post here

Erasmo Carlos Jowenguard, director of NTs.
Ariella Grahna, president of the CFFC.

(ooc to Cafundeu: always wondered how the WWC would be scorinated with dice... BUT to be honest with you, i don't expect that you'll win the host vote, except maybe from Ariddia, as they did the 1st World Cup with dice.)
