Now for the fun part. Below is a list of characters to choose from, ranging from an ex-military bodyguard to a waitress with dreams of something beyond hustling for tips. The backgrounds aren't exactly detailed, more of an overview than anything. I'll leave it up to the participants to flesh out minor background issues, but the facts listed are commonly know to everyone in the community. All of them have one thing in common, however, which is the fact that they all know each other, admittedly some better than others, but there are no complete strangers here, other than John Grayson.

When the RP starts, there will be a short paragraph describing the situation your character is in, available resources (useful items lying around, suspicious-looking stuff, that sort of thing), and from there you'll take over for the remainder of the RP. If I can figure out how to add pictures, I'll do so to give a little more substance to the RP, and to ramp up the immersion factor.

One last thing I'll add is that I'm somewhat busy during the week, but do try to make an effort to check back here twice a week at the least, so the RP may progress slowly. I am, however, free for the entirety of this current week, and will therefore be online a lot more often. I figured I'd just give everyone a polite heads-up so no-one thinks the RP died.

Sorry to Nitpick, but if Jason was trained as a chef, then he would have his own SET of knives in a traveling pouch, from pairing to a butcher's cleaver. Can that change be allowed?

The two models of 'Shun' knives have excellent balance, and are made from cobalt steel which holds an extreme edge. There might be a cleaver in the kitchen, however. As long as you don't pull a snub-nose thirty-eight out of a drawer, I'm not going to say anything negative.

true, but a true chef, even one at a two bit diner, would still pride him/herself with a full set of knives (and it's not that cumbersome either.) I've had friends show up at a barbeque with a leather packet containing their full set of knives... even when the only cooking to be done was throwing it on the barbie. ;)
