MULTILAND NEWS
A group of Multilandese citizens who visited the country of Alcoholic Smurfs (AS) have been arrested for alleged 'spying' offenses.
The group of 15 were visiting the country for what they insist was a sightseeing tour, before they were arrested by AS police. AS police claim they were caught taking photographs for 'spying purposes', but the group maintains that the photographs were nothing more than tourist pictures.
Multiland does not have an embassy in AS and the Leadership are currently trying to resolve the issue with the AS government - however, the AS government are insistent that the group, of 7 men and 8 women, are spies.
The Leader of Multiland gave the following comment: "...we are trying to work with the Alcoholic Smurfs government but talks are currently leading nowhere. If necessary, we will take further action. I stress that we will try our best to deal with this situation peacefully".
The AS government did not respond to any of our messages.
