Ok, so I thought about doing something different, and as I am a college freshman I thought a toga party would be an awesome idea that leads up to a year of college. Now as I am a student who needs time desperately I would leave most of the RPing to the individual players but would still continue in it an spark major events.....

I remember the good old days where International Schools were the big thing to do. I also remember that at every one of those international schools, one person would always show up with some 18 year old kid who is Special Forces qualified that is built like a wide reciever but can carry four hundred pounds of equipment not including ammo and such, was able to run a 4.4 40 while wearing said euipment, could fly, speak seventeen languages, and was a race car driver...

hey, it is in CM after all...so yeah, weapons are allowed. However I am going to ask when drinking all students disarm for various reasons.

I'm also going to ask not to be too outlandsh in what your students have. Mine are both sisters, orphaned, and Jedi knights so that's about what I expect for this RP, just please keep it within this version of reason.

Theres no reason to withdraw. If you don't like it ask for it to be changed. Its still in the planning stages after all. I was just going to link in my two main characters as prominent figures. If you want I can say they're taking a break from their jedi studies or we just conveniently forget the fact they're jedi except in a few extraordinary circumstances.

As for large military hardware, that was a joke. There are virtually no gun laws save for the "reasonable size" law requiring the weapon carried to be able to be held single-handedly and guns for men can have no gun bore bigger in diameter than their wang. Makes for some interesting jokes to say the least.

It's just my experience in the past, that every college RP I've joined the whole thing turns into either everyone boasting about who has the biggest weapon (and using when possible) or you have a whole school of people that can read your characters mind (which as you can imagine gets very annoying).

I'm rejoin the RP and see what happens.

I would like to join, with a totally unarmed, nonagressive character, though I have at best, an unstable access to the internet.

I don't expect people to change plots for me, which is why I decided to withdraw.

While I do like the occasional freak show, after a while the e-pissing contest just gets old and boring.

And to be honest, I couldn't have changed plot lines for anyone because I had only a vague idea of the plot and specifics like this I hadn't worked out. I think good RPs should be like a good room mate, people agree on what is going on, why, and solve differences out quickly with the least strife possible to make a good machine and keep it running.



And this is to everyone, what do you think the name should be. I was thinking of something along the lines of a college/university with a funny acronym like "Cullman-Ulman NanoTech", "College of Radio Attraction Programs.", or "New Exodus Radial Delegation School." All of these are trying to keep in with the theme of a semi-serious comedy RP.

I'll watch this and think about.

Ok, tomorrow sometime I will make the thread in between classes and cleaning up for company on the Iron Bowl. I want it to kinda resemble my college (Alabama) but add in things from where you are too. I'll link as soon as I have it and edit the first post with it as well.

As far as player, almost anything goes as long as you keep it witty, funny, and don't wank with what they can/have done

Rampant, just so you know, I want to put Elle in a situation where she feels threatened by Billy but he ends up saving her from a stalker who he was actually tracking.

Also everybody else needs to start in as soon as they can. Personally its going to be a little wierd for me over the holidays so I can't post too regularly. I'm just trying to keep the thread alive.
