Hey everybody, Guathic here.

I want an "International Space Administration" RP, where nations that either cannot make their own space program or would like their space program to improve vastly can come togethor.

The idea is to begin with an MT era space program and use the RP to bring each nation gradually into PMT.

I was thinking about bringing the Joint Space Research originally started in our region (Here (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Freedom_Hall/index.php?showtopic=54)) to the international stage. It's a bit in not the best form as it is, but I'll rewrite it into prose.

We are not exactly pure Modern Tech, but well below PMT. I'd say it's not even MT+1, rather, maybe, MT+0.1 - what is scientifically ready and mostly needs funding and engineering. But still I won't even consider "godmoding", holding leadership or plain helping without return help: the Vault has no government budget funding, only corporations, and these are not ones to do more than they need.

So expect it very soon.

To everyone well experienced in NS-specific RP: I'd like to ask for a few advices.

Specifically:
Should the thread be open or semi-open?
Is it better to write a long story to start, or to denote the basics and let others post?
Finally, make it here or in incidents? I'm just not absolutely sure, as it's international matter...

Open until we get a decent number of MT nations wishing to move into PMT through this program.

Denote the basics. Before we doing anything we need to actually discuss it.

It should take place where ever it generates the most interest. It works well in both.

If you want a peaceful, friendly encounter with an alien race after you get advanced enough to feel your ready, let me know. I'd be happy to give you Close Encounters of all seven kinds. We could even have an IC research thread with random sporadic encounters of the first three kinds if you'd like. It be like incentive to research and advance.

That is perfect, thank you very much. I want to go with hard science all the way, so we probably won't deal with close encounters until FT era brings us a few extra solar systems under our sway.
