There is a new proposal that has been submitted to the United Nations for voting on to be sent to a wider UN vote to become a UN Resolution. It is entitled "Erradication of World Poverty"

There are millions of people in the world dieing from preventable causes, which are directly traceable to extreme poverty. This could be remedied if the nations of the world donated 0.007% of their Gross National Income (GNI) to an organisation overseen by the UN (United Nations Distribution Organisation) (UNDO) which would distribute the resulting revenue fairly to the people and places that need it, not corrupt governments. UN Governments would instead be required by International law to assist the UNDO in their work, so that the peoples of the world may regain their lives and live them fully, contributing to the world community in return.
