Cricket Schiavonia, the board responsible for the running of the sport across the forty-six island nation, are proud to announce that the Cricket World Cup will be coming to their nation next year.

So far, ten nations have entered the cup, with Cricket Schiavonia currently looking for a total of either twelve or sixteen teams to participate.

The tournament will officially be known as Cricket World Cup VIII, due to the fact that there have been seven previous attempts at holding Cricket World Cups throughout history. The reigning champions, and indeed the only recognised winners to date, are Audioslavia, winners of the cup held in Cockbill Street.
