“The capital world of the Union was rocked today, as news of a genocide of federal citizens on mars reached the white house, Tannelornian , aumani, and VL backed rouge AI’s attacked a colony ship near the ice caps on mars, this land was supposed to be given to the union by promises of both governments, unfortunately Tannelorn and his allies of the VL and several other nations of mars betrayed our forces, and ambushed them, only an appeal to the Trimutive of yut saved union forces from the siege of several nations and there threat to use weapons of mass destruction against our forces, over eight hundred thousand federal citizens where killed after the rouge AI apparently anti matter bombed the area where the UN armed total civilian populace was disembarking at, the president immediately rushed to capitol hill and spoke to congress” said a federal union news network reporter standing in front of a huge white chrome roman like domed building the sky was clear and sunny clouds traveled over head the magnificently beautiful seen was marked by the news of the wronging that had been committed. President Bastidas stood up on the podium the chrome white metallic interior with holographic monitors and windows shined all over, the light peered in from the top and the white lights set up behind him his body was shimmering his face bleak and hard line his face was wrinkled due to the stress he had been receiving the past few days, it wasn’t terribly wrinkled only one or two here or there, but it was enough to let people now it had not been easy, he sighed and started to speak his voice clam but dark and deep saying “Good morning, I wish I could say this has been a proud day for us but it hasn’t, today our former Vasciliain allies had lunched an ambush against our forces on mars, they killed over eight hundred thousand federal civilians in a plan to destabilize mars and cause panic, while many mars nations do not like us for unknown reasons, this has been the final straw, we will not tolerate being betrayed like nor will we tolerate our citizens being killed in cold blood with out retribution , Vascilia has backed a rouge AI against us, and they have shot at us and used threats on us with in mars orbit, if we did not stop defending out selves, they have committed an act of genocide, families, childrens grand mothers fathers and mothers, where all murdered in cold blood because they just landed simply landed to a promise of a new home that was simply taken back suddenly buy our Vasciliain allies, as soon as it was bombed with an anti matter weapon, thousands of babies, young boys and young girls died a horrible death none of them where escorted or armed at the time, the escort along with the colony ship was engaged at the moment trying to defend it while it attempted to land on what they thought was a safe haven, the colony ship strayed off course because of ECM jamming , and could not help going over air space, to furtherance this travesty against innocent lives, they have posted the blame on our country claming we had weapons online when traveling in we did not, they threatened the Use of weapons of mass destruction upon us right over there own soil, claming they where trying to protect billions of Martian lives by threatening to use a weapon witch would have wiped out that planet, these nations are evil and these nations are aggressive manipulating warmongers, who bought us there under false pretences, they claimed we where endangering lives .. when they where the ones doing it by starting this in the first place, I hear by ask the nations of the galaxy to join us in a black listing and embargo against these traitorous nations and genocidal maniacs, I I’m also petitioning a letter of marquees against Vasciliain assets around the galaxy and solar system, I’m also requesting that congress officially declare a state of war against Tannelorn because of its involvement in the affair, this is not an easy choice for me nor will it be an easy but I’m sure .. it will be the right one..” he sighed putting down his papers and drinking some water he rushed off of stage to the back to await votes…


Resolution 1209a passed by the eight hundredth congress on September 30th Union date 2368: This resolution mandates the use of immediate and necessary force below or above strategic level weapons in order to pacify the nation of Tannelorn and to defend the United Stellar Federation of the Federal union against force, there leader has been charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and aiding and a bedding criminal AI’s, the United Stellar Federation’s commander in chief may deploy all necessary units and use all resources militarily available to these Federations , in order to protect it, we the congress have now officially declared a state of war between The United Stellar Federation of The Federal Union and The Divine Celestial Federation of Tannelorn.

The message was broadcasted through out the entire galaxy singles where sent all over the place sol easily, the 500 ship fleet in the asteroid belt began to deploy commanders ordering drills and ships on alert, the fleeing fleet from mars had just gotten out and arrived, the president and generals had ordered an attack on Tannelornin asteroids.

Admiral Black stood on the bridge of the UFS ranger the newest class of battle ship in the federal armada he looked at the tactical panel it was a little shrouded due to un explored parts of the asteroid belts , he looked around, and said “I want recon forces around Tannelornin assets tell me where there industrial asteroids are we hit those first, ensign I want this fleet deployed in 24 hours max” he said in a commanding voice clam and steady like that of a person who had just been through a relaxing vacation and was ready to get back to work, his body was built his hair balding and slightly salt and pepper his eyes green and his skin rough and some what wrinkly, his uniform some what riding up as he bent down upon the holographic tactical map.. it was on the Union would not tolerate being betrayed…

Immediately following their receival of the transmission by TFU there was much outrage expressed by all of Pilon. Though Tannelorn was not a beloved ally of Pilon they were considered viable trade partners who had done well in their past arrangements with Pilon.

Economists predicted the impact of a war with TFU vs the impact of allowing Tannelorni forces to be destroyed by what was largely considered an unwarrented attack.

Debates raged on for an hour, however the public view was largely already swayed in favor of supporting a war with TFU.

Minutes later the proclamation was issued.

Official Pilonese Declaration of War

Due to the recent unjustifiable actions of aggression against Tannelorn, the Greater People's Hegemony of Pilon hereby declares themselves to be in a state of war with The Federal Union until such time as The Federal Union submits a complete and unconditional surrender and formally apologizes to Tannelorn, or the Government of The Federal Union is dissolved and reparations for damages are paid in full to all Allied forces.

The unprovoked aggression in this manner will not be tolerated by The Federal Union, who in the past have shown themselves to be a menace not just to Mars, but to the Solar System as a whole.


Immediately following this Declaration the entirety of the Active Duty forces of Pilon, who were already on alert status, were dispatched to intercept TFU forces. Reserves were called up and began preparations for home defence and additional military operations in the future.

It was with some amusement that the news was bandied about MILCOM. It's not every day that a nation publicly declares war on the _wrong_ target, never mind declaring that target to be associated with the actual aggressor, as well as accusing them of grand conspiracy to commit genocide.

Local surveillance - no doubt rather superior than that the Fedrals had, due quite simply to Kajali familiarity with the area - had returned intel that had suggested that the Fedrals were moving to attack targets in the asteroid belt, whilst under the guise of "training exercises."

Of course, it is patently obvious to some in MILCOM what the Fedrals are planning, especially when their fleet over Mars - escorted out of the immediate Martian vicinity by the TYCS - appears to join with assets on 'training' in the belt.

Understandably, there is something of a requirement to confirm this information - telemetry from satellites around Mars is not particularly accurate at such range, and so a frigate is dispatched to sit at the edge of engagement range, and observe the Fedrals with probes. Superluminal communication, while not as secure as line of sight tightbeam - allows for a sort of "early warning", if required.

Meanwhile, messages flit back and forth between various departments, and while no official press release is made, ships over Kajal Mars slip from moorings and enter high orbit. Even within Taskforce Arasur, so named for the flagship, Delsa Arasur, there is little mention of what exactly the Kajali plan to do in this situation. Scuttlebutt in the small fleet suggests that the Kajali intend to aid their neighbors, even if they don't like them terribly much, though none of this is confirmed at the low levels.

At the higher levels, admiralty discusses the situation at length, before reaching a decision. Tightbeams are made, and the fleet remains on standby until further notice.

On TFU and League War.

'After careful discussion we have decided upon the following steps to be taken in the face of this struggle.

1.) The Council of the Kionash of Tor Yvresse, and it's colonial possesions, shall not act in favour of either party while the fighting remains away from Martian Orbit.

2.) Due to the fighting in the Belt we have placed our fleets on full alert, should anyone enter the exclusion zone around our claimed and patroled regions of said belt they shall be met with deadly force. This is not an alteration of our standing practice merely a reiteration of it to inform all parties involved.

3.) The afore-mentioned deadly force is not viewed by the Council as a decleration of War although continued attempts to enter the zone shall be viewed as such.

As far as the council was concerned as long as the TFU stayed in the belt they could fight against the League to their hearts content. Some debate still reigned over slipping the humans what they had witnessed over the years of the Tannelonian Asteroid colonies, if only to raise the cost for the League a little higher. No final decision had yet to be reached on this matter.

This completely unexpected and unwarrented declaration of war clearly shows that The Fedral Union is incapable of acting responsible within the Solar system, let alone the Martian system. We will not stand idle as these chaotic forces throw planetkilling levels of ordinance at Mars, and can not stand idle when the same forces fire on our own forces without provocation. As of now, the Kingdom of Bryn Shander is at war with The Fedral Union, and will not rest until the threat of their madness is removed from Sol and the territories of our allies.

In the present circumstances, however, justifiably upset people are acting against innocents (if such a term may be used for any Vascillian) for no discernable reason. The Tannelornians may have acted rashly in the past, yet they are on the whole well-meaning.

*These same people attempted to land on Mars, tried to bombard the surface of the planet, and ignored any attempt to reason with them, including those made by His Divine Imperial Illuminated Majesty's officials and officers. They have therefore placed themselves beyond what humans term the 'moral high ground', especially in light of the recent declaration of war.

*Finally, and perhaps most importantly in our view, our esteemed allies the Pilonese have declared themselves in a similar state of warfare, and we consider it our duty to support them.

His Divine Imperial Illuminated Majesty has been informed, and he is expected to confirm my decision.

RE: Federal Union military action in sol

The Incorporated State in response to the present crisis over mars wishes to make the following announcements and actions clear.

1. As of this date all civilian vessels are warned to be wary of LMO given active debris and weapons fire and to be aware of the implications upon there insurance polices of operating within what is now a live theatre of war.

2. All sol system asteroid belt transits by vessels under ZMI merchant marine flag are to be under the convoy system and military escort.

3. All ZMSF units will now without prior warning engage and seize or destroy vessels of any flag targeting the Martian surface with weapons that will result in extreme collateral damage or vessels deliberately and maliciously targeting civilian population centers.

4. While the Incorporated State expresses its condolences on the unforgivable loss of civilian life, even though those lives were apparently recklessly endangered by the method of there colonial insertion there termination was not warranted and the Incorporated State condemns the actions of the AI entity in question. We however further cannot state enough that the bombardment of the Martian surface and use of very high yield weapons by military units remarkably near atmosphere even if not intended was and is wholly unacceptable. Given these counter balancing factors the Incorporated State wishes it to be known that it will not engage in direct offensive military operations in relation to this but will supply logistical and defensive support to its Pilonese and Roanian allies and consequently will also supply civilian shelter, rehouseing, and emergency medical aid to any group that requires it.

5. The Incorporated State urges those involved given the duality of percieved guilt to discuss this matter without resorting to full scale warfare within sol system.

6. Given present events ZMI is now on military alert 2, MILICOM has override authority on any civilian vessel or asset, all intercity non essential civilian traffic is to be kept to a minimum, full overshield status shall be engaged and all ZMSF reserve persoennel and units are recalled to active duty.

It should be known that all ZMSF units in martian orbit will be takeing up active agressive stance defensive positions in full combat drill as of 14:00 GMT today to 15:25 with live weapons includeing the deployment of missile pods and the deployment and charging of primary energy weapons.

War, it was an unfortunate occurance, and one that had not happened to Pilon in several decades. Interest in The Federal Union rose dramatically following Pilon's declaration and all available files on them and their military capabilities were quickly poured over and examined in minute detail, discussions on hypothetical matchups between Pilonese and TFU forces were debated, however with the Pilonese cultural tendancy towards long term planning most of the focus was already on Post-War planning.

It was largely agreed upon that many of the nations who also declared war were likely to be somewhat more destructive in their fighting methods, the populace did not condone the use of Genocidal Weapons of Mass Destruction, nor did they desire the utter destruction of TFU, rather they were interested in seeing to it that their capability to wage war was snuffed out and reparations were paid to the victors for their costs in fighting the war.

Reserves continued to be called up and prepare for the fight, however it would be several weeks before the first on these would be ready to fight.

As the research continued the Pilonese Megacorps became interested in TFU as well. Somehow a relatively small population had been able to aquire several dozen star systems, and defended the entire region with a military budget roughly a third of Pilon's military budget.
These planets were rich in natural resources and TFU in general was fairly rich for a nation, it was very odd for such a nation to act as irrationally as they had.

Many Pilonese felt that the populace of TFU would not support the war and it was a matter of corruption in the government that had started the entire mess, the general consesus was to institute a government change within the nation with safeguards put in place to make sure that TFU would not be responsible for any aggressive military actions until they had been given a chance as a culture to mature and ensure that such rampant corruption could be put under check.


War Planning
The Pilonese Military Command poured over the intelligence provided them on TFU military capabilities. The other nations who had already declared war were coordinated with and channels of communication were set up to discuss both post-war planning and to share information gathered. By the time the Pilonese fleet arrived at the Asteroid Belt they would have ample knowledge of the area and dispositions of the TFU fleet.
The sad reality, however was that this was war, and in war people died, many people were likely to die on both sides, but more would die if Pilon sat back and did nothing, already too many had died and things were just getting started.

The accusations of a rogue AI being backed by tannelornian forces is false. Tannelornian forces attempted to protect and escort the Fedral colony ship, fourty five tannelornian knights were lost in the same attack that killed so many of the fedral forces.

Fedral Union forces refusal to remove themselves from the martian sphere and to stop firing from an stellar location eight hundred thousand kilometers from the martian surface against forces in low orbit. Using the planet itself as cover lead to them being fired upon by vascilian forces in defense of mars before the TYCS escorted them away from mars.

Then Fedral forces moved closer to the planet, trying to lure the vascilian's and their allies in to an attack against mars with hermium wavefront weaponry.

Do not listen to the false stories of the Fedral Union, we shall tell you this tale of sadness and woe as it happened on our sensors.

Fedral forces had been cleared to land in Barazun when a rogue AI of the augmented appropriated weaponry and fleet resources and started to attack the fedral forces while still seventy kilometers away. Tannelorn attempted to stop the fighting and even defended the Fedrals, moving our own pilots in amongst them to protect them from harm. Then the Augmented AI attacked them with an antimatter weaponry, triggering the vascilian alliance against those who would fire upon the Tannelornians and Aumanii soil.
Instead of heeding to the wisdom of the league members in martian affairs, the Fedral forces returned fire on the treacherous AI. An AI who was using its proximity to mars, low orbit to draw fedral fire towards the planet for whatever purpose of mayhem and pain they chose.

They wanted the fedrals off the planet and they did so. Now they had not only done this but they had forced the fedrals to act in a way that could no longer be considered ethical. In the last moments the Fedral fleet started to fire at everyone around them they considered an aggressor. Even those that had been defending him previously. Such actions are those of the mad.

We will not protect you from the enemies you made of the sons and daughters you have slain today, nor from the brothers and sisters of those whose lives were brought to an end. We will protect you from the extermination many would set upon you. You shall not enjoy this protection, for it comes at the cost of everything you hold dear to you now.

Such slander as you suggest is unconscionable considering the sacrifices brave men and women of tannelorn have made for your people. Best we had destroyed you alongside the seaquestrians for disturbing our peace. Little how we would understand the true horror that your ilk would bring to our home, the violence you wished to wrought inside the cluster was only a precursor to the harm you have caused us here. Had the seaquestrians not been such obvious villains perhaps we would not have seen your true side all too late.

We accept your declaration of war, we also give you fair warning that we shall not brook this insult lightly, we were your friends, our sons and daughters died for you and this is how you repay us.

Let us wish you good luck in your endeavours to pacify the nation of Tannelorn. While we're not going to participate in any way, shape or form (Apart from fielding off any erratic ordnance accidentally going in our direction, that is) in the conflict, and while we're certainly going to keep our usual status as neutral party, neither embargoing, nor specifically supporting either side, we must congratulate your decision to take matters in your own hands (And phasers, one supposes). You've experienced the excessive degree of Vascilian treachery and falsehood first hand, and are understandably concerned, worried, and maybe even, dare we say it, insulted.

Your actions are both, understandable and commendable. And indeed, given the nature and degree of the Vascilian betrayal, I'm certain that you'll not only consider revenge - it's a historical fact that Vascilia never leaves you alone, once it has picked you as its victim (You may want to ask Lunatic Retard Robots about that one, specifically Auman bombing its entirely civilian worlds during a 'Diplomatic Mission'). As such, only the complete elimination of Vascilia can possibly help your just cause to succeed. And I'm sure that this is, indeed, something you can succeed in, through the swift and precise, not to mention effective operations the Fedral Union is famous for.

Well. Actually, there are two letters. The second one's addressed to Tannelorn, though, slipped under the door of their Duma-office.

Dear whoever's presently in charge of Tannelorn (I'm sorry, but you appear to change your regime on a semiregular basis, and it's hard to keep up...),

We wish to express our condolences that out-system barbarians have decided to declare war upon your divine people, feeling a need to show off where careful diplomatic measures would've been more appropriate. Indeed, it saddens us that the people of Tannelorn will once more experience the horrors of war.

Nonetheless, while we're feeling with you, realising your cause, we cannot help but remain what we've (Almost) always been - neutral, favouring neither side. Not that this will hurt you much - you are, after all, self-sufficient.

This said, be assured that all our thoughts, all our compassion (And just ask the UN about how much of that we have!) goes with you and your cause. There can only be one end to this war, and this HAS to be the elimination of the Fedral Union as a sovereign entity - quite simply in order to secure Tannelorn's continued survival.

The immense USS Admiral Kolchak – almost more a mobile battlestation then a ship – moved first, a spearhead of an immense attack. Formations of Hughie Mark II’s passed by the Roanian fleets in salute, each ship with it’s unique modification. One was called the USS Butterfly and sported immense wings that also doubled as an electronic warfare dish. Another, USS Rudolph the Reindeer, had a huge red ball on it’s prow – that happened to also be a spherical phaser array..

It has come to our attention that you have warranted an act of war. Although this is so, any forces that come within our Galactic borders must be contained to your sector of space. Failure to contain your opponents within your sector of space will result in the deployment of the Newtype Corp and the swift repulsion of all contenders in this war from our Galaxy.

I pray it does not come to this.

And as an official statement, the Galactic Protectorate hereby states that it is neutral in this affair until such an event as described above happens.

Angel/Delta/Theta Fleet 20,000 parasecs from The Federal Uniton

a Mass of ships cruised at a steady speed a few star snub fighters did patroll around the frigates and other star ships.

Inside the Generals were all meeting to discuss the pending wars in the union. They had recived new orders sometime ago, they were stratagizing plans on what to do.

"So what do we do, have Theta Swarm it, and Delta and Angel capture the leaders?" Asked General Rebecca Snow.

"My troops can't just put themselves on the line for nothing, we need out part." General Jack Kimsey said. "Theta is elite, but our space suites can only take so much punishment."

"Delta can take it all. With enough Intel from Alpha we can take them." General Karl Winslow said.

Snow interjected "Angel is just as capable. I think we all need to work this out, especially if we have any space battles."

Preparing to make the Jump to light speed

"Well we'll be there in no time, let's get ready. We'll have to awake all troops, but let them get some more rest first."

Many hours later, Mayumi Nazole and her cabin mate Chitose Karasuma, slept but were suddenly shaken awake by an emergency buzzer. Mayumi fell off the top bunk, and darted up. "What's going on?" She asked

Chitose responded with "Maybe an attack."

Both girls speadily suited up, and ran out, along with a dozen other of their Angel comrads.

"General?"

"Hello girls, sorry to wake you like this, but we are preparing for a defense mission, and possibly a liberation of the Fedeal Union. We are a mere 1,000 parasecs from the system, and we aren't sure what we are going to encounter. I want you all to be ready."

A lieutenate spoke "All serial numbers of 01345-52089 you are the landing party. All numbers 61258-10206 you are the air defense party."

Mayumi and Chitose would be on the space defense. They ran to their X-33 Angel Stars, and awated further orders.

The ships were now approaching the system, so far it seemed with out conflict but for how long they weren't sure.

"Stand bye."

ooc: TFU is once again showing horrible ettiquite in crossing the two versions of his nation that he has gone on at length about separating. See this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=501486) as proof. Really poor form, boyo. And I have serious doubts as to it being accepted after you've made such a big deal about having two versions, one for each rp forum, in the past.

We are quite intrigued by these events. What are these "rouge AIs"? Bolshevik mechanoids? It appears the Marxist-Leninist plague has spread far beyond our expectations.

At any rate, the Grand Duchy and its dominions shall remain neutral in the matter. The National Defence Forces elements on and around Mars are on stand by to shoot down any "surprises" that could be heading for Taraskovyan or Pact controlled territory.

We remind all belligerents that any “surprises” that we do not manage to shoot down shall be reimbursed with at least a 1’000% interest, courtesy of the Taraskovyan Space Fleet. To both belligerent sides.

P.S. The Grand Duchy and its dominions really wouldn't mind if the belligerent sides found some other playground to "duke it out". For example, a galaxy far, far away.

Some actions are unforgivable, some merely transient against the void. It is interesting to see what has become, the hand that beckoned us to Mars suddenly clenched into a fist to pummell and destroy, those forces who gathered about us suddenly plunged into Warfare. Khorne shall feast well, that is a certainty, and I sanctify each death in his name.

We are new here, and I am certain many still feel distrust, disgust and suspicion at our presence. But I tell you now, that we shall not get involved in this debacle till our place upon hallowed Mars is assured, and once we have seen to our own defence we shall ensure that no Chronosian son die needlessly in the face of these tragedies.

We shall not interfere with the affairs of the Vascilians. Nor shall we interfere with the affairs of the Federal Union. May your blades remain sharp, and blood continue to flow, the taint of death shall stead us well in-system, it reminds me of home...Let us hope that an agreement arises soon.

Mars

Charleston lounged. His feet were up on his desk, he was watching an entertainment-screen, and he was playing cat's cradle. "Where's that information I asked for?"

His aide hunted through the paperwork, and pulled out a tiny booklet entitled 'All about The Fedral Union.' He held it between his fingers as if disgusted. "Here, sir."

Charleston ripped it from his hands and flipped through it, an irritated expression on his face. "Curious. 25 worlds, you say? As well as within the asteroid field? How do they hope to defend it all?" He sighed and tossed the book into the flames. "Our allies await our ships. I suppose it would be rude to keep them waiting."

Sol Fleet

The two halves of the Imperial Fleet have by now ran together and formed into battle lines. Clouds of Wyvern-class fighters flew in spirals and circles over the flagships. The two Imperial Dragons loomed over their smaller counterparts, the largest ships in the entire Navy at nearly 4 kilometers long.

There were no external communications for the time being, messages being relayed from ship to ship, in High Roanian (that mystic language not taught to any foreigners). Then a communication was sent to the Pilonese.

'Request permission to coordinate military action as per the Concordat treaty, Admiral.'


Deep Space

A fast (incredibly fast) ship flew the thousands upon thousands of light years between Sol. Planets soared by in a matter of seconds, stars vanished behind it. This was a Courier MessageShip, an almost invincible ship the Roanians had devised to bring messages between Sol and Rudan Prime.

The only problem was that its engine would die as soon as it reached the homeworld and stopped. The pilot closed her eyes and stretched, feeling the G's shake her body. Then she dozed off, knowing that if the ship was going to go critical there'd be nothing she or the AI could do.

It is always entertaining to see how nations re-invent history to suit their purposes. Today’s debacle is no exception. Allow us to somewhat clarify, in addition to making our stance clear.

The Fedral Union imposed themselves upon Mars by arrogantly and willfully making a hostile insertion where they were both unwanted, and uninvited – claming afterwards that it was due to ‘jamming’ that they did not go where they had stated previously that they were intending.

All accounts suggest that the fleet that first fired upon them is indeed a rogue element, and yet, the Union chose to turn an already unfortunate event into attack at large on Mars itself by irresponsibly firing en masse at the planet, with no care who or what they might hit.

This understandably concerned many, and began a chain reaction, sparked not only by the Union’s unwarranted attacks, but their pointed refusal to communicate with anyone else throughout for reasons that can only be judged as showing the utmost belligerence and disregard for the seriousness of their actions.

Given that the nations who had initially extended invitation to the Union to come to Mars to begin with have even turned on them due to their missteps, speaks volumes. Their statements proclaiming innocence are, in a word, a sham.

Due to the need for us to deploy our own forces to defend our interests in assisting the brooming efforts thankfully initiated by the TYCS, we are asking The Fedral Union, for compensation for time, effort, and ordnance spent in attempting to help clean up their mess. No assistance nor consideration will be offered until this has been accomplished.

In the meantime, our intent is to not engage over this regrettable incident, though we will continue to watch over our interests, and will take great offense at anyone creating additional problems for us, or attempting to draw us in by baiting or other nefarious means. We also hope that rather than escalating this to a point where there is no going back, that those parties involve will avail themselves of the avenues at hand for a more peaceable solution – so long as it does not result in territory being granted The Fedral Union on Mars. We feel that their actions have forfeited any opportunity they may have had.

Quick to jump the gun once more, we see. Violence should never be the first solution. We suggest you first sue for peace. As we do not have a stake in this matter, we are willing to offer neutral ground for the summit to take place.

Now, we may not see eye-to-eye. Hell, you even invaded one of our worlds just because you felt like it. Still, are you that willing to see your nation demolished by all those that stand against you? Are you that willing to let your nation be conquered because you couldn't contain yourself long enough to recognize the unsurmountable odds you face?

Orders went out to the Ki-rin, Dokufu, Bisan and Bakemono diverting them to the Federal union homeworld..

the flotilla sped toward their allies homeworld and Fleet Captain Miyu Kojima was sitting in her ready room on the Bakemono working through the mass of information and intercepted messages.

They were honour bound to help TFU since The Federal Union gave them a new world and a lot of aid after New Kirisubo was destroyed by nova torpedos to prevent a devasting bio-plague getting of the surface.

The population was rebuilding and had reached 300,000 people since they arrived on their new home, Neo-Kirisubo deep in TFU space.

Normally deep space explorers the Kirisubans were also warriors with ancient traditions. They had never forgotten bushido, honour and the way of the samurai.

in a few hours they would arrive and be able to assist their allies. already work was ongoing to turn each of the exploration ships into a field hospital. The battle being currently raged in Unity had proved this point and they would defend themselves if attacked while they tended the injured.

ooc: for people who haven't dealt with Kirisubans before their ships look a lot like the old Romulan ships from Star Trek. The small Tenpeku class cruisers like the ships above have 5 phaser banks, plasma torpedo launches and a cloaking device.

They are also very fast and agile ships but not that tough. Their all female crews also have a policy of self destruction rather than being captured.

The Commonwealth of Martian CityStates cautions any allies of the Fedral Union to not approach the Martian sphere of influence. The Martian Defense Initiative is on the verge of approving a resolution to treat any attack, inadvertent or not, on neutral territory as an act of war. The majority of the nations on Mars are presently on high alert thanks to the indiscriminate acts of Fedral Union warships. This is a highly volatile situation that does not need to be further inflamed.

No member of the MDI will be involved in any act of reciprocity against the Fedral Union unless they fire first. To the best of our knowledge, the vast majority of Mars has respected the efforts of the TYCS to safely remove the Fedral Union fleet to neutral space.

What happens outside of the Martian sphere of influence is not our concern, so long as innocent civilians are not threatened. We implore everyone involved to allow cooler heads to prevail and to stand back from this needlessly aggressive posturing. Make no mistake about it, the nations of Mars are tired of being provoked and agitated and threatened by the thoughtless actions of others. Any attempt to violate the sovereignty and stability of the Martian sphere by outside aggression will be answered swiftly and decisively. This is not a hornet's nest that anyone wants to stir.

For the safety and security of all peoples, we implore the Fedral Union and its allies to stand down from a war footing, avoid approaching Mars, and allow independent arbitration to settle this issue. Enough blood has been shed already.

Chancellor Rheya Savitri

The Imperial Republic of Coreworlds, concerned with its numerous asteroid colonies in Sol, has issued a statement of -strict- neutrality at this time, but cautions all participants to keep ships and ordinance one thousand kilometers away from all colonies. You will know where they are on any respectable scanners. Coreworlds does not need any more aggravation than it already has.

In other news, the Governor of Coredia has issued a statement that it would offer to host any peace talks should peace break out. We hope that this war ends quickly.

The Military Technocracy of the Augmented wishes to inform all subscribers to its navigation database that all Federal assets have been designated a Armed Navigational Hazard Class VIII (psychotic), and are to be dealt with accordingly. The Technocracy military, however, will not be available to help in the clearing of these hazards, as it is currently occupied with the pursuit of the Rogue Electronic Entity Class II (megalomaniac, self-upgrading) known as Fleetmind Kara.

Any accurate information as to Kara's current or past location will be rewarded a bounty of 4,000,000,000 Menelmacari credits, or 16,000,000,000 Menelmacari credits' worth of Augmented manufacturing services.

The Taiko, Aiko Fujikawa had been on shaky ground since the debacle of the loss of New Kirisubo. Even although a communist group had set the virus loose she got the blame for not stopping them. The Kiribushi had also broken away with most of the warrior class, the last rice crops had failed and now the Admirals of the defence and exploration fleets had enough with her latest decision. They knew they were in no shape to fight a war.

In a lighting and bloodless takeover troops loyal to the military seized the Taiko and her cabinet placing her under arrest and stripping her power.

The stunned civilians let this pass and the new leader Grand Admiral Mari Abe spoke to the people of Neo-Kirisubo explaining her actions.

"we cannot lead the remnant of our people into an offensive war with good concience. Martial law will remain in force until a new civilian government can be formed which should not take long"

The following message was sent to the government forces allied against TFU and to the TFU ambassador.

"A new regime had taken charge of the the people of Neo-kirisubo since we believe that the decision to enter an offensive war is against the interests of the people.

The Admirals of the defence forces and Exploration fleets now rule with the Taiko and her warmongering cabinet under arrest.

We will recall the forces sent to aid the Federal Union and make clear that we are now neutral in this conflict. However any attempt to attack our shipping, homeworld or people will lead to us defending ourselves with all our resources against the agressors whoever they may be.

We are also available for mediation so this senseless war can be stopped before it begins.
