This is the thread all about the Kleptochase tour. First an explanation of how this works. There are 20 regular tournaments and 5 majors spaced throughout the course of the season. The results of these determine the rankings for the season (BUT DO NOT DETERMINE THE STRENGTH OF THE CHASERS). With the exception of the season ending Human Open each course will use only one attribute.

The scorinating format will be just posting the final results of each tournament, with the exception of the majors, where each event will be done on a round by round basis. Each tournament has 128 chasers and is a single elimination tournament. I will try to do one scorination a day, but I make no promises to hold to the that. They will come as regular as I can do them.

For each tournament the 128 chasers qualified will compete, with replacements being drawn from the subs list in case of injured or resting players. In each tournament all chasers will be assumed active unless you note in a RP or OOC post.

The opening tournament will use the preseason rankings posted below for tourament seeding. After that each tournament will use the cumulative season rankings to arrange the tournament seeding.

Here is how the rankings work. You earn a certain number of points for each event result. For regular tournaments you earn 1 point for competing, 2 points for winning one match, 5 points for advancing to the round of 32, 9 points for making the round of 16, 18 points for making the quarterfinals, 30 points for making the semifinals, 50 points for second and 100 points for first. For the majors you earn 1 point for competing, 2 points for winning one match, 5 points for advancing to the round of 32, 12 points for making the round of 16, 24 points for making the quartefinals, 40 points for making the semifinals, 80 points for second and 160 points for first. In case of chasers with equal points, the tie will be broken by the preseason rankings.

Any chaser that wins a tournament, makes a final of a majors or finishes in the top 34 chasers who don't win a tournament or make a final of a majors will be guaranteed back on to the tour next season. Depending on retirements and other qualification happenings, more spots will open for chasers. Most chasers will earn either direct qualification, or be placed in the tour qualification for next season.

Savant means general skill balance, where as specialist means one or more skill is significantly higher. If a player is listed as a X savant it means that they are slightly better at that skill or skills. If a player is listed as an anti-X savant it means they are a little worse at one skill and as an anti-X specialist alot worse at one skill.

Legend, Star, Expert, Rank & File, Novice.

A Legend is the best, followed by star, all the way down to novice. These are approximate ratings and it's quite possible that two chasers from different groups are closer in stats than two chasers from the same group.

Welcome to the start of another fabulous Kleptochase Tour Season. Once again we open the season in Mil-Bax with the Castle Siege, played in Burlock Castle, home of the Burlock Jesters and football star Pizelkaxrovsky. For the first time in the history of Kleptochase, non Az-czzers will be competing. We wish them luck as they begin the modern era of Kleptochase. Who will be the first winner in the integrated era. A look at the Castle Siege:

Masters: These are the four master class chasers on the tour. Zg-Mk is clearly, like always the chaser to beat. Mo-Pet and Noy-Nek are right there with him. Mar-Mar being a specialist and not a savant could compete but is expected to struggle.

Other Major Winners: Isz-By and Memamu-Kg are the top competitors outside of the top three.

The rest of the top chasers: Se-Ga and Fax-Md while probably not expecting to win could do some damage. They've recieved what look to be friendly draws.

Foreigners: Schreider Martin is clearly the top choice. He's got good skills and has a manageable draw. Peter Harden is one of the best technical chasers on tour and could do well as well, as could Davy Kinch

Lower ranked Gnomes: If he can get past Martin, Cl-Fw could do some damage. Wk-Gy and My-Kng could be dangerous as well.

Khufu Qualifies for the Tour!


Please Do not be alarmed about the format, Misrantians do not follow all of the same traditions as some other nations do in this regard.

It was a joyous day in Misrantis, as not only did Khufu Alamaidus become the first athlete to wear the colors of the Misrantian nation in a competitive international sporting event, but he won! Sure, there were tons of winners on the day, but Khufu Alamaidus was one of them. Alamaidus, who was paired against Az-Cz's Sit-Up in the NS Kleptochase Tour Qualifying round, was able to succeed with three victories in the best of five series to book a place in the first all-out NationStates Kleptochase Tour. As the only Misrantian to enter, Alamaidus may be a bit lonely on the tour, but that won't dampen his national pride.

Alamaidus will once again square off against a chaser from Az-Cz - but this time it won't be a qualifying event. When Khufu Alamaidus puts on his Olive Branch designed Uniform - and lines up opposite Az-Besix, they will be competing, not in a qualifying event, but in a proper sporting event alongside the best in the world at their discipline. It is an honor that not even Khufu Alamaidus could have dreamt of when submitting his application to attempt to Qualify for the Nationstates Kleptochase tour, and now that he's there, Khufu will be looking to add a few chapters to his, and his nations, kleptochase fairy tale!

Castle Siege wrap up

Although there were a lot of upsets, in the end strong chaser made the finals with Isz-By beating Mo-Pet in the finals. However a number of chasers went down far earlier than expected. Tug-Bt knocked off Zg-Mk in the third round, Snu-Pi pulled the biggest upset of the first round knocking of Memamu-Kg, and followed up with another win. However the upset of the tournament was Andrew Rather knocking off Noy-Nek in the second round.

Marty Kochenon, how does Joshua always get stuck against this Milchaman in technique courses for crying out load. Technique Joshua's main weakness, this showed being knocked out in the first round. It was just too much, Joshua just did not have the dexterity and limberness to perform at the same level. Joshua got painfully stuck as he tried to climb over and fence obsticle as he somehow managed to contort himself into a position that it did not seem that he could get out of. However, he did eventually did manage to get free and continued on. He wasn't surprised to find the target having already been taken by the Milchaman and as he arrived at the target he heard the jubilation of the crowd as the Milchaman had already exited the course. Being really frustated with himself he punched a nearby wall, severly denting it and nearly broke it. Though he remembered the first time he even tried a technique course and that was the so-called break-gate affair. Where he pulled an upset win, not by solving the problems but by using his brute strength the charge through them. With the humiliation of that still on his mind. He paused and calmed himself before continuing and finishing the course. It was a matter of pride that he finished it no matter how far behind he ended up being.

Andrew Rather had a much more successful campaign, knocking out the Starblaydi Nurri Tezbaktahir in the first round with one draw. He had gotten to the target first but in his rush to get into a locked safe he made a crucial error at the last minute which required him to start again allowing the Starblaydi dwarf to catch up with the Bazalonian. The Second round was against Noy Nek, third best chaser in the pre-season tournament rankings, Andrew did not think he had much of a chance against this Gnome. But the chase started. Only a few minutes into the course he heard the crowd react to something, he didn't know what it was nor did it matter for the moment, all that mattered was making sure that he did his best to get to the target before Noy-Nek did. Which to his surprise he did, Andrew kept going believing that Noy-Nek was right on his tail, being spurred on by the addrenaline that is always there in those that are being chased and Andrew emerged out of the course victorious in what was a personal best for a technique course. It had turned out that Noy-Nek's hand slipped while attempting to cross a bed of nails. The nails injuring his hand but not enough to require him to withdraw from the tour. Noy-Nek went to the hospital and had his hand treated for the injuries that it had received. Andrew's next and final course was against another gnome of Az-Cz, Cl-Nt. Andrew emerged from the start of the course just in time to get the target and promptly get caught by the gnome. Only seconds where in it. The second run of the course led to the Gnome taking a commanding lead taking the target. Andrew kept on the trail of the gnome and managed an occasional glimpse of the gnome on the otherside of an obsticle but he was too far ahead and the gnome kept his winning position finally knocking out the Bazalonian in the third round

Peter Harden, despite being the best Technique chaser in the Bazalonian squad was knocked-out in the first run of the first round of the Castle Seige tournament, while Joshua Trengrove, Bazalonia's worst Technique Chaser at least took his Milchaman opponent to a second run, Peter Harden found it hard to get started in this tournament allowing the Az-Cz gnome Eo-Eo to get a start which the gnome never gave up, Peter Harden on a number of occasions looked like he could have made up if it where not for a number of rookie Kleptochase mistakes. So Eo-Eo got the target and went through the course moving onto the 2nd round, while Peter Harden got to sit and watch Andrew Rather in the 2nd and third rounds.

Maria Heatherton, If there is such a thing as a worst type of Kleptochase for Maria, Technique is it. Infact Maria got totally flumozzed and embarressed in the first run in the Castle Seige against another gnome from Az-Cz. Fsh-Stk. Although the match could have well just about been against a slug, Maria climbed up a lattice however while climbing up she managed to get her clothing stuck on the piece of wood. If she went any higher it would tear he clothes and expose her underwear. Though it seemed Maria lacked the intelligence to try and climb down and attempt to unhook the piece of clothing. So Maria refused to move, essentially giving Fsh-Stk a free run through the course essentially Maria just gave up climbed down from the lattice and exited the way she came.

Success! Failure! More!

The thick of the kleptochase season has started now that the Az-Cz tour has begun. All 6 Milchamian chasers (Schreider Martin, Marty Kochenon, Davy Kinch, Marian Luppers, Kendrick Hemmelvee, Marcus Lotton) went to the first event, the Castle Siege, a technique event.

Hemmelvee who was the lowest ranked chaser coming into the event, did not actually participate as he did not qualify for the tour. Our mistake.

Marcus Lotton did participate and was the only Milchamian chaser eliminated in the first round. He lost to a very good chaser from Az-Cz named Tr-Fo who is ranked in the top 30 of chasers in the tour and made double octofinals.

Marty Kochenon got a poor draw. After a first round win over Joshua Trengrove (again) of Bazalonia he hit Mo-Pet, the second best chaser on the circuit and finalist in this event. Kochenon tried hard but he didn't have the skill to beat the talented chaser and fell by the wayside in one round. Luppers continued his struggles agianst good opposition as a mid table Az-Cz chaser eliminated him.

In the third round Davy Kinch got eliminated as he could not out technique Nin-Tn. Kinch did not go down without a fight though as he managed to tie Tn the first round and the second round was unlucky not to win as he managed to passs Tn just as he was about the make the turn for the win in his goal zone. The third round though Tn found a hole in the course and exploited it so fast that before Kinch knew what hit him he lost.

Schreider was the success of the tournament for the Milchamians and all foreigners in the kleptochase game. He made it to octofinals, the farthest of any non-Az-Czer. He beat only one big name on the way, Az-Besix. However this does also make him the highest ranked foreigner on the tour through one tournament. He expects to do even better at the next tournament as the crowd there is very pro Martin after his crazy showings in the AOKCC.

Martin has made himself the most famous non-Az-Czer chaser and his jerseys and other things have snapped up quickly around Az-Cz. He has even gotten a couple of endorsement contracts.

Meanwhile back in Milchama the kleptochase season is also going on and imported, bad Az-Czer Stv-Yng went over to Milchama and has dominated the tour winning the first 4 events so far. However, Hemmelvee is coming back to challenge him in the strength major there so it will be a tough task for Yng. We expect a good tournament back in Milchama.

The first event of the inagural Kelptochase Tour was held yesterday in Az-Cz. The Quakmybushian Kelptochasers did not make out too well. It is clearly evident that the chasers from Az-Cz are the top of the class, mostly due to the fact that they invented the sport. All 5 Quakmybushian Chasers were very close in their matches, and they just needs to imporve abit for the next tournament which will be held at Ben-Degly Dash, this is a speen event, at which very few Quakmybushian Chasers excel at.

In the Bazalonian National KelptoChase Association (BNKCA) Headquarters an emergency meeting was underway. The subject of this meeting was Maria's Appearance in the Quarterfinals of the latest speed tournament in the KleptoChase tour. Why was this something that caused an emergency meeting? Well let's listen in on the meeting and let's find out.

"Here we have performance results from her last international appearances in the NSKCC, She didn't qualify in the top 32, her last event, she was knocked out in the first round. Many times had she failed, you remember that fan song.. put to the music of.. I dunno that weird musical with singing nuns."

"Especially with her getting stuck embarrasingly on that lattice in that last technique run she did."

"Well, we all know that Maria isn't the brightest of Sparks, but we are talking about a Speed chase here, one that really, you don't need brains just speed."

"And yes, Speed isn't her strong suit. Strength is. I'm starting to think that Maria had some sort of drug-induced enhancement. If we are going to be taken seriously in any international tournament the vice of performance enhancing drugs must be stamped out. I propose we do a full drug sweep of all our players. That way Maria is not singled out."

"Let's put that to a vote. Raise your left hand if in favour, .... okay ow.. put up your right hand if against. Even with the Abstentions the proposal counts Joshua, Andrew, Peter and Maria are all getting drug tested."

Joshua Mumbled under his breath to himself... "Maria, of all people get's to the final while I lose in the first round? Stupid It-Ex he just had to be a pain didn't he." What happened in the first round according to the various statistics that where around it was certainly understood that the matchup was fairly even, Joshua having a slight advantage statistically. But as we all know it is not statistics that make up the results it is the performance on the day. And this one Joshua was just slightly too slow, he saw the gnome run past him take the little stuff gnome that was the target without slowing down. Joshua followed him but for some reason just couldn'y get the speed to catch up with him. The Gnome slowly kept going forward. It was like he memorised the map before he got in it and Joshua was there lagging behind waiting for the gnome to make a mistake in which he didn't until the end and somehow managed to trip over himself. However he tripped himself out of the course so while Joshua did catch up it was too late.

Peter Harden on the other hand was just outclassed from the start, Noy-Nek, one of the best Kleptochasers out there dominated Peter from the start. Peter was running but so was the gnome and the gnome despite being short managed to work his little short legs to the max gaining an early lead and only extending that lead throughout the match. Peter had no hope.

Andrew Rather had a relatively easy run through the course the Starblaydi dwarf just was too slow. However he did start off slow but by the time he got to the target he had a reasonable lead that only increased. And then in the second round, faced up with that Andreas SteepleMouse who showed Andrew who was faster and it wasn't Andrew. Though Andrew was never too far behind the mouse always looked like he was incontrol and finished the course without too much trouble ahead of Andrew.

Lotton to be in Milchama next week

After two unsuccessful performances in the Az-Cz tour so far Marcus Lotton has decided to withdraw his application to Port Mid-Mjr Muscle Madness tournament next weekend. In Milchama is one of the big major tournaments: The Galics. Considered to be the most important tournament of the season the local looking Lotton decided to go there and get a good run in before coming back to Az.

The 4 original international chasers of Milchama have decided to stay because they have not been on the Local Circuit enough to qualify for the tournament. While they all got invited none of them thought it worth it to come when they were making a living in Az-Cz. Kendrick Hemmelvee who has had horrible luck at the mostly speed tournament will take the place of Lotton in the Port Mid-Mjr Muscle Madness, a strength tournament. Hemmelvee seems confident of his success, he said, "Well I'm going to try hard and probably do well. Strength is by far my best event and I can't wait to get out there and show them what I can do and how I can do it."

Great things are expected from Hemmelvee this tournament.

A note to Milchama and other nations

Each competitors spot is not guaranteed to that nation, but only to that competitor. The waiting list for open spots is determined in advance, by factors such as results in the AOKCC and NSKCC. For this reason if a chaser chooses to withdraw he or his nation can not choose who to replace him with. We will offer Lotton the right to reconsider his decision before the Port Mid-Mjr Muscle Madness.

Chasers fail

The Milchamian had by far their worst performance today in the Port Mid-Mjr Muscle Madness. All 5 of them lost in the first round and none of them did anything to help themselves at all. The only competition was by Marian Luppers but he could not do anything to stop in the end and had the inevitable loss.

Milchamians are of course not known for their greatness on the strength with the only exception being Schreider Martin who did not do well after a suprising loss by all accounts to an Az-Czer. Both Kochenon and Kinch are terrible at strength and courses and Marcus Lotton is just too new to the circuit and everything to be considered a threat at all.

This led to an overall terrible performance by all accounts for all the chasers. Next week we expect success.

Chasers confident ahead of first major

Well we've reached the point of the first major, The Dwarf Celerity Challenge. This speed event comes right after the Lei-Laz Labryinth a maze event. All the Milchamian were in this event and now we are going to have a chaser by chaser report, Now with quotes!

Marcus Lotton- The newest Milchamian chaser has still yet to win a round on the international stage. He has however done quite well with getting respect the newest being from Eo-Eo who said, "This kid has a bright future ahead of him, it's a pity he didn't take the game up earlier because then he would be better than Martin." Lotton though has been less impressed, "I'm not ready for this yet. I've been beaten first round everytime and who knows how long I can take this. In Milchama I just got by on luck and now I don't have that anymore and boom! I can't win. This is not a coincedence."

Marian Luppers- He who has been cursed by bad luck and poor form since his 3-0 start at the AOKCC did manage to make the third round this tournament where he lost to Ao-Kle. He no longer wants to talk about this curse and move on. His fans and others believe that this performance shows that this run of form is behind him and soon he will be back to dominating like he used to on the inagural Milchamian circuit. He agrees, "When will ya'll stop talking about my bust at the AOKCC? It happens, I messed up but I've moved on from that, I broke at the NSKCC and made the third round yet all ya'll want to talk about is a tournament that happened months ago. Move on from the past." This sounds like a confident chaser heading into the first major.

Davy Kinch- Kinch has had a rough time of it on the tour. He has made the second round at least once, in the second event, his best event, the Ben Dangly, also known as a speed tournament. Kinch expects to do very well at the Celerity Challenge which is also a speed event. Kinch is not worried about the last two tournaments because, as he said, "I suck at strength and maze events. I always have so I'm not suprised about the early losses. I'm more looking at my strong events which included a third round appearance in a speed event and a third round appearance in the technique event. These performances can and will be improved upon I'm sure."

Schreider Martin- After a ferocious start to the campaign with a octofinals appearance in the first event Martin has struggled mightily. But these might neccesarilly in terms of actual performance but in terms of expectations and then the performance after that. The only one where Martin admitted he should have done better was the strength tournament where he lost in the first round. Martin knows he need an upturn in form because as he puts it, "I have not performed up to expectations since that first tournament. I need to perform better if I expect to have the success that was predicted of me here on the tour. This major provides that oppurtunity and now I need to step up to the plate to take that oppurtunity and do well."

Marty Kochenon- The other Milchamian auto qualifier to the tour has had the worst luck of all the chasers. In the first tournament of the year he ran up in the second round against Mo-Pet and was quickly dispatched. Then in the speed event he went against another formidable foe in the second round, Elp-Pao who is in the top 30 chasers. However he finally got a nice draw this time and made it all the to octos showcasing his talent for all to see. Kochenon has a definite upbeat attitude before the tournament, "Out of 256 competitors I will probably have weaker competition in those first few rounds which can only help me and will lead to many victories. I think I perform better in pressure situations, just look at the AOKCC outrounds, and this qualifies as one so watch out Az-Cz here I come." That sounds confident enough for us.

Andrew Rather... Bazalonian Kleptochaser, knocking on the semi-finals door wanting to be let through. That's what it felt like as he stood before the course ready to compete against Az-Besix. The road to the Semi's were surprisingly smooth for a non-Az-Czzer. Only in the Round of 16 where he drew Pot-To was there a draw. Some of those matches where close but Andrew had managed to through the gnomes he faced, It was a battle of the brainy. Pot-To in the first run got to the target first, and that really annoyed Andrew adding insult to injury Andrew lost the way that the gnome went. Deciding that he decided he would try and get to the exit the fastest way he could. If he could get there before the gnome then he could cut off his only chance of escape ...

The gnome was progressing through the maze he saw the exit ahead... only one more possible entrance for the Bazalonian to come through and get him he listened as he went forward... but it was too late to react, Andrew charged into the gnome catching the gnome just meters from the exit of the course... But now Andrew's mind returned to the task at hand. The Semi-finals... He couldn't believe it that he made it this far. It was almost like a dream... The Dwarven Celerity Challenge comming up soon and there Andrew was, in one of the 4 best maze kleptochases. He could not believe it. It didn't matter to him after the course that he lost. Andrew he had got to the semi-finals and that thought occupied his mind.

Joshua Trengrove the most well-known of the Bazalonian chasers mainly because of Media coverage of the so called break affiar performed shockingly. Getting his map upside and confused. His opponent didn't have much of a challenge. Though once he finally figured it out the chase was already over.

Peter Harden's match was much closer but still despite not being far away from the gnome he was chasing he never could quite catch up or find him... Peter Harden tried his hardest but failed to get a look at the second round.

And MAria the third Bazalonian to get stuck in the 1st round however this was not much of a surprise

No day off for Vilitan Chasers


It was an off day on the kleptochase tour. After a string of consecutive events, all the competitors got a much rewarded day off. Top ranked Mo-Pet was off enhancing his image by shooting some public service announcements while top ranked foreigner Andrew Rather was probably entertaining some bypassers at the local beach.

But it was a different story for the Vilitan chasers. After a string of poor performances to open the tour, which saw the chasers buried well into the bottom half of the standings, there would be no off day for the Klepto Kats.

Team captain Yabai Tomoai, fresh off a loss to Lb-Ir in the 2nd round of Lei-Laz Labryinth, called the meeting bright and early.

The Vilitan chasers assembled, as Tomoai welcomed Ioalali Morai and Viliama Riistamii into the room. But as typical, Ootaniz Riiatzor was late. The trio decided to begin the meeting without Ootaniz, expecting him to come strolling in half an hour later with some lame excuse about his eye or his pinky toe. Yabai opened the meeting with discussing about Morai's early exit at Lei-Laz Labyrinth, which saw the top performing Chaser from the Atlantian Oceania Kleptochase Championships paired against heavily favored Marty Kochenon of Milchama. The trio agreed that Ioalali had been hard done by the draw, and losing to such heavily favored opposition perhaps has harshly dropped Morai deeper in the standings, a claim which he will have to perform to support in the upcoming major.

With the mention of the upcoming major, Morai segwayed into discussion of how to assist his teammates in preparation for the event, as it featured his own specialty as a primary obstacle. Morai suggested they give Ootaniz Riiatzor five more minute so that he too could discuss the course for the Dwarf Celebrity Challenge and perhaps gain some insight on how to advance off the bottom of the rankings table.

As the trio were discussing Vilita's recent triumph in the Atlantian Oceania Cup of Association Football, Riiatzor strolled in as expected, already spouting off excuses ranging from something being stuck in his eye to a bird landing on his head. Speed Rubs Off, Apparently

Vilitan chaser Ioalali Morai, who's speed specialty took him deep into Atlantian Oceania Klepto Chase Championships, spent the day off between the Labyrinth course and the Dwarf Celebrity Challenge to intoduce his teammates, Viliama Riistamii, Yabai Tomoai and Ootaniz Riiatzor to the fine art of speed.

Apparently, instead of just introducing the trio to his own speed, Morai simply gave up his own speed for the other three competitors. During todays openeing round of the Dwarf Celebrity Challenge, where Morai was perhaps favored of all the Vilitan athletes due to his superior pace, only the speedster himself was going home early after the first matchup. While Morai will be joined on the sidelines by teammate Riiatzor, it took the typically bothered and lowest ranked Vilitans 3 consecutive no-decisions before he finally fell to the well known Runner Sprintmouse, like Morai, a known speedster.

It will now be up in the air between Viliama Riistamii and Yabai Tomoai as to which Vilitan will have the best chance of carrying the Vilitan flag into round 3 for the first time in a major competition. Both Riistamii and Tomoai have been training again with Ioalali Morai, with the speedsters early exit, to get them fit for their second round matchups where both will be squaring off against home town opposition. Riistamii will have the challenge of going head to head with 17th ranked Svn-Et; while Tomoai will have an equally difficult matchup against Se-Ga, the 16th ranked competitor. Ironically, both competitors are outmatches by 63 ranks, with Tomoai being the 79th and Riistamii the 80th ranked chasers overall on the tour. However, with their first round victories, both chasers are expecting to advance in the rankings at the conclusion of this major event, and both are hoping that the extra training sessions from specialist Morai will catupult them even further, into the third round of the tournament for the first time.

Two out and they ain't Lotton

We're into the second round of the first major, the Dwarf Celerity Challenge. Apparently the extra 128 people that are supposed to be in majors never showed up as it was only those who qualified for the tour in there today. Which is really weird because we would have expected more from these people. Now we go to the third round.

Schreider Martin- The most successful and famous Milchamian was shocked in the first round by a fucking Vilitan, Viliama Riistamii. Bastards all. Anyway after this HUGE dissapointment Martin is hungry and he said that he expects victory in the next tournament. That's right he guaranteed that he would win the tournament. This lofty goal looks crazy but one never knows as Martin might merely be challenging himself to do well to overcome this disastourous. We really don't know.

Marian Luppers- The only Milchamian chaser eliminated in the second round. The other famous Milchamian chaser, at least locally, but more for rugby and suicide footballer than kleptochase, Luppers had a tough draw as he went against the legend of Mar-Mar from Az-Cz. While Mar-Mar isn't known much for his speed he is still very good at other events and was better than Luppers on this day.

Marcus Lotton- The suprise of the tournament so far. Lotton who had never advanced past the first round of any tournament before this has gotten to the third round in the major. Along the way he beat Andrew Rather of Bazalonia in a sweep and Martin Wilson of Winchestia in another sweep. Lotton now faces his first Az-Czer in Fl-Ut. Lotton seems confident though that he can beat Fl-Ut because of his superior speed. Confidence is sky high for the kid right now and whatever he says I would trust him.

Marty Kochenon and Davy Kinch- The other successful Milchamian chaser has also advanced to the third round in straight wins where he will meet Davy Kinch. This is the first time ever that two Milchamian chasers will face each other in international competition.

Nobody seemed to believe me about this international conspiracy to stop Milchama! But now we have the evidence neccesary to back it up! Just look at all these minor tournaments Milchamian have never faced each other but now in the first ever major its our guy vs. another one of our guys. There is of course only one explanation, it was a manipulation by Az-Cz to make sure that 3 Milchamian chasers could not get into octofinals. This was clear because in all of the other tournaments up to this point no Milchamian chasers had hit us each other and all of a sudden this happens which means that there is a conspiracy written all over it. This cannot happen to a pround team like Milchama and we need to fight back.

Riistamii: A household name?

Another chase up, and another chaser down. And once again, Vilita's Viliama Riistamii is on the up side. Riistamii made quick work of favored Az-Cz chaser Svn-Et to become the first Vilitan to advance to the 3rd round of a kleptochase tour competition. Riistamii, who was always the most well-rounded of the four Vilitan chasers who make up the Vilitan Kleptochase Team, has struggled to find his form while Ioalali Morai and Yabai Tomoai have stolen the spotlet with their magical runs and fan-appealing performances. But with speed-specialist Morai out early at the Dwarf Celebrity Challenge, and Tomoai valiantly going out after a draw to Az-Cz's Se-Ga in round 2.

This leaves Riistamii as the lone Vilitan chaser left in the competition, and finally, all the spotlight is on, perhaps, the most skilled overall chaser in the Vilitan ranks. Riistamii joins just six other foreign chasers amongst the veterans of Az-Cz in round 3, with a pair of Milchamans squaring off against each other and a pair of Winchestian chasers finding their way to the same round. Riistamii, however, once again faces off with opposition from Az-Cz. Unlike the second round, where the Vilitan was paired with a top 20 chaser, Riistamii finds himself up against 81st ranked chaser Qaz-Ox, in a matchup that it is widely believed that the Vilitan has a good chance of winning. And, for the first time ever, Riistamii was interviewed about his chances on the day.

"Obviously it would be great to keep this run going, I'd love the chance to get into the next round and prove that the win over Svn-Et was not a fluke. I really have to thank Ioalali Morai. he's been great to all of us since his dissapointing exit in the first round, and he's been working to get my speed where it needs to be for the important matchup. Obviously I felt great in the second round, but perhaps Svn-Et underestimated me and didn't expect the pace that i've built up under Ioalali's coaching this week. Qaz-Ox won't be making the same mistake. We're very closely ranked so it will be a very good matchup."

While Vilita had a satisfying performance at home in the Atlantian Oceania Kleptochase Championships, it was Morai who got all the media spotlight driving deep into the competition. But now, for the first time, those in Vilita have a reason to follow the events in Az-Cz, and that reason is the breakthrough performance of Viliama Riistamii in the Dwarf Celebrity Challenge. While some papers breathe of an upset champion, The Vilitan team will be taking a more modest approach; one round at a time, giving Riistamii every piece of information he will need to perform well at each of the tasks he may encounter.

Marcus Lotton felt robbed. After shocking everybody to get to the 3rd round of the cup Lotton fell in tough fashion to Fl-ut of Az-Cz. He felt that he should have won the match and moved to octos. Sure he should feel happy but he didn't, he felt hungry, really really hungry and ready for more. That match was decided before it started because of an unfortunate circumstance. Lotton had contracted some type of food poisoning the night before the match. He tried to ask the match to be called off but to no avail as the officials in Az-Cz said that they could not fall behind schedule.

Lotton tried to get up and chase but felt out of it from the beginning. He did well though as he almost got the object first. However, Fl-ut, who avoided the food poisoning, looked more fit and quickly got to the target zone. Lotton felt that if he were full strength he could have gotten Fl-ut and won the match.

Nothing to do about it now, Lotton would go back and prepare for the next tournament. He was confident he would go farther than this one.

Kochenon had been the worst victim of a series of unlucky breaks. First he had to play his country mate Davy Kinchi n the 3rd round which sucked for all involved, except for maybe the Kleptochase association who could brag to everyone about how their chasers rock and then ask for more money to make the chasers better.

Kochenon didn't care about the folks back home right now, he cared about himself and he cared that he just lost to Davy Kinch. He was the better chaser and felt that he could beat him 9 times out of 10. After all he had auto qualed for the tour while Kinch had not. Also he had been more successful pre AOKCC as he was semi famous pre AOKCC while Kinch had been barely selected over Lotton and Hemmelvee and others who are dominating the Milchamian like Tucker Flent.

Kochenon would be going home and would be happy to face Flent in a midweek competition final before coming back to Az-Cz to compete in the next tournament on tour.

Davy Kinch didn't think about himself, he was thinking about the other chasers. Somehow through luck and skill he had made it to octofinals in the first major tournament of the season. He could scaresly believe it. The whole time he had been in international kleptochase he had been thinking of how to earn respect and now he did it.

However, he couldn't get content and was trying to think of new motivation. He turned on the Az-Cz Sports Report "Davy Kinch the 4th best Milchamian has gotten a lucky victory against Marty Kochenon. Now in the octofinals the lucky Milchamian has finally seemed content. While he has proven something this tournament I'm inclined to think its a fluke. What do you think Tex?"

"I'd have to agree. Kinch has benefited from-"

He turned the TV off. I'm still not respected he thought. I get to octos of a major and I'm still not cared about, at all. This fired Kinch up, now he had his fuel and Peter Harden was going down, Hard. Very Very hard. Sweep baby here we come. Kinch imagined it as he studied the course and the best way to win.

Peter Harden saw his fellow Bazalonians drop one by one through the Celerity Challenge First Joshua Trengrove and Andrew Rather the so-called best of the Bazalonian squad in the second round and then Maria in the second round.

Battling against a gnome from Az-Cz saw Peter steal the lead early in the chase as the gnome accidentally took a wrong turn before realising it and turned around. However Peter took the target and powered on through the course, almost seeing himself going through the correct way ensuring, remembering the map and directions he memorised beforhand.

As for the next chase he's against Milchaman David Kinch. Despite the new Milchaman-Bazalonian car ferry service sporting rivalries on the field are as strong as ever despite being politically friendly. Peter Harden knew that the Milchaman was waiting there. Waiting to take the lead whenever he sliped up.

Peter Harden focussed on memorising the up-comming chase and the beep training that his coach had him doing, the aim of it is to help him do a 180-degree turn on a BazCent in the quickest time possible. Such changes in direction are crucial places where time could be gained or lossed and so Peter Harden Trained. Peter had beaten over 100 other competitors and had made it to the round of 16. Now all he has to do is make it to the Quarterfinals, the only person in his way is the Milchaman Davy Kinch.

Peter Harden and Davy Kinch... They knew each other fairly well, not as well as Joshua Trengrove and Marty Kochenon did, almost no bosy knows each other as much as those guys do in terms of Kleptochase. So Peter Knew that Davy had the upper hand in terms of physical ability. But so did Davy. While Davy dominated in the physical game, Peter absolutely became domaniering in the mental game.

"Eat my Dust" becoming the motto for the Bazalonian mentally psyching himself up for the chase...

The course took shape and the nerves where keeping Peter on edge... he'd need that extra rush of Adrelanine to help him if he was going to beat the Milchaman. As the chase got underway, it seemed the two of them where neck and neck, Peter and Davy. No one could tell who the winner was. It was so close that even the commentators had trouble. It looked like whoever would grab the target would immeadiately be tagged to cause the draw. Peter snatched it first and the swipe behind from the Milchaman went past... but it missed(Something that both players had temporarily forgotten in the heat of the chase was that after the target has been snatch there is a pasue for the law team, which the Milchaman soon reminded himself of waiting the designated 20 seconds before starting again. Peter made use of the adrenaline pounding through his blood stream and the boost of speed and managed to evade the outstreched arm of Davy, and powered towards the finishline. Set aback by the unexpected miss and burst of speed the Milchaman went after the Bazalonian. But couldn't catch up with him.

Peter Harden that day recorded his highest ever speed in a speed course and with that earned himself entry to the Dwarf Celerity challenge Quarter-finals.

Somehow one of those four seems out of place :)

Things didn't go well for Peter in the first chase, a small stumble made Peter lag behind the Az-Cz chaser Zez-Kia. Instead of allowing himself to let the gnome from Az-Cz win, Peter clawed back the difference, a major navigational error by the gnome allowed Peter to catch up and tag. Peter was disappointed with his stumble and the gnome was dissapointed by being tagged by the Bazalonian.

The second chase was much closer and, there is nothing to explain it but despite being the most toned and better speed chase out of the 2 chasers Zez-kia started to lag behind in the first section of the race, it can't be explained for the moment but Peter Harden not only reached the target first but continued to power on gaining the 20 second headstart and finding his way through the course. Peter Harden continued battling through the course imagining the gnome was coming up right behind him. Right up till he had exited the course. What happened to the gnome was something that Peter Harden did not know... but it finally hit him.... Peter is going to the Semi Finals of the Dwarf Celerity Challenge. He's numb... one of the top 4 speed chasers in the world. right up there with the best of the Az-Czzers... He could not believe it.

He had seen all of the chasers in the top three and he knew he did not have a chance. It was like a game of "odd one out", and he was the one that didn't belong. Eitherway Peter did what training he could in preperation for the semi-final. What little good it do anyway.

Who will the winner be, Zg-Mk one of the greatest chasers in the history of the sport a man who's won four Celerity Challenges, eight majors total, and a career Grand Slam or upstart Peter Harden of Bazalonia, who has already made history by becoming the first foreigner in a final and could set real history be becoming the first foreign tour winner ever, and even more impressive the first foreign major winner ever.

Note also that both chasers have clinched a spot on next years tour.

Peter Harden could not beleive it, he managed a come from behind victory again. After catching his opponent Mar-Mar in the first chase after a bit of a slow start the Bazalonian could not believe his luck. It was almost a death sentence getting that 20 second penalty but he managed to get the Gnome just before it exited the course, only meters to go and the Az-Czer has caught by the Bazalonian. The crowds where impressed by this but generally wanted to see the Az-Czer win.

However, the second-chase saw the roles reveresed, it was Mar-Mar who made an early stumble giving Peter easier access to the Target and to the course exit. While the Az-Czer did manage to make up some ground there was not enough ground made up by the gnome to take the draw and so Peter Harden had won his Semi-final.

When asked about the history-making first forgeigner to make it to the final of a major Peter Harden said "I could hardely believe it myself. I'd like to thank everyone who had supported me and oo, I know Zg-Mk is going to be one tought cookie to crack. He's the obvious favourite, but can I win. Well anything can happen, but let's just say the likely hood for me winning it is 'not bloody likely'"

Peter Harden could not helpe but think... He was in the final of a Kleptochase Major. This was a dream come true for him, he most likely would not win against the gnome he was facing, and most likely would not even see the gold medal until he had emmerged out of the course but, by golly he was not going to lie down and let this chaser have it. He was going to make it as hard as he could.

Fucking Bazalonians, Vilitans, Starblaydis, Clansman and more

That's right! You guess it, today is our biennial hate AO day! YEH! This day was declared to be today after Great Leader Tim Gonnenberg heard about our horrible performances in Kleptochase and how we lost to fucking Vilitans and Starblaydis while Bazalonia ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS! Get Fucking lucky and advances farther in the tournament than we do. All our chasers sucked, none of them got past the second round at all! It was terrible.

One of them lost to a fucking Starblaydi, another one to a fucking Vilitan, come on. Then Dalton gives up 3 goals and we tie the Lowland Clans. Bastards all. Thus our hate AO day. So now we take every AO nation that we can think of in alphabetical order and hate them. (We only take AO nations from the map)

ABA—Abattoir- Too broad of a name. Plus they're a bloody dictatorship. And they never RP yet seem to be powerful. Bastards.
ACZ—Az-cz- They run a skewed kleptochase tournament that is clearly anti-Milchamian. Thus they should be drawn and quartered. Bastards.
AMR—Amarenthe- We don't know them, thus they must be lucky to be on the map. Therefore they suck. Bastards.
AMV—Andossa Se Mitrin Vega- They're kinda nice but we have reason to belive that they might possibly be vegetarian. And they cancelled the DI. How the hell can they do that? Bastards.
ASP—Atlantian Spaam- Monty Python is the uber and they bastardize Monty Python. On top of that they might just be Australian. Which is a terrible offense. Bastards.
BAZ—Bazalonia- They get waaaaaaaaay to fucking lucky. Beating Kinch was ridicoulous with the food poisoning. And most importantly they bastardize the great Chi Cubs with their dumb Bazacubs. For that they are bastards.
BDS—Bedistan- They do waaaaaaaaay to well at the world cup. Every single time they win or finish second or make semis. They need to be brought back to earth. Bastards.
BET—Bettia- Muslims and more importantly they hate red. Bastards.
CAR—Carrar- We have a sneaking suspicion that they might just be Spanish or something. This is terrible and clearly makes them bastards. Bastards.
CAS—Casari- They're drunks, they have terrible uniforms, they're sarcastic but worst of all they have an all powerful soccer federation. Clearly they suck, bastards.
CHA—Chacor- LE. Bastards.
CHC—Chicanada- They kicked us out of their tournament at some AOCAF or another. Plus they gave us Spot Nielson whose stopping Kelvin Joseph from taking over the Milchamian striking records. Bastards.
COM—Commerce Heights- Capatalizts. Bastards.
CMH—Communist Heights (puppet of Commerce Heights)- Actually Commerce Heights. Bastards.
CRY—Crystilakere- They're still on the map! They don't Rp and haven't done anything of note, at all. Plus they might just be a horrible dictatorship. Bastards.
DAS—Dorian and Sonya- They like pink. Bastards.
FAL—Falcania- Birds. That's right, they're fucking birds! Bastards.
FMJ—Fmjphoenix- They beat us in the World Cup. Bastards.
GEI—Geisenfried- Bastards.
HCN—Hockey Canada- Attention whore and quite possibly pregnant. Also quite possibly a liar. Bastards.

HYP—Hypocria- Withdrew from the World Cup AFTER they finally had good luck. Where's the logic there? Bastards.

IZI—Izistan- Sounds like Hiiraan which means that all what we said about them applies here. Bastards.
KAK—Kakin- Wolves? That sounds right. Dumb dogs, they suck GO AND GET DOMESTICATED. Bastards.
KHA—Khazaron- Ruled by an evil dictator of doom who died and came back to life. Considering they can break the laws of physics we have to spend more spies on them. Which stops us from spying on Starblaydia and the CSA. Bastards.
KRY—Krytenia- Only do well in the World Cup when they host. Which means that they rig the World Cup to help them win. Thus securing their place as bastards.
LAM—Lamoni- They humiliated us in AOCAF and on several other occasions. Plus we got crushed in their AOCAF. Bastards.
LTK—Lontorika (puppet of Commerce Heights)- Fucking Commerce Heights. They suck. Bastards.
LRI—Lesser Ribena- They're being bullied but yet are still allowed on the map. Where is Greater Ribena? Huh HUH! Bastards.
MIC—Miceland (puppet of Bazalonia)- They're mice. AND THEY BANNED CHEESE! How do mice ban cheese? What the hell man? That just sucks. Bastards.
MIL—Milchama- They're writing a hate list on all AO for no reason. Plus we have it on good information that they are actively involved in a massive conspiracy to take over the world involving a hallucinated giant. Bastards.
MPA—My Patio- Why does My Patio have its own nation? How does that make sense at all? Man when did it become more than a slab of wood. It also makes us waste spies. Bastards.
MPR—Manhattan Prime- Regular Manhattan huh? Broadway wasn't good enough? New York City wasn't good enough. Man what a terrible country. Bastards.
MYR—Myrtannia- They're nymphs. And their fans clearly supported TLC throughout that match. An unforgivable crime. Bastards.
NBR—Nova Britannicus (puppet of Starblaydia)- They're so worried about being isolated that they pulled out of the World Cup for no reason. Also they smell Starblaydi which is never good. Bastards.
NEA—Neu Amerika- Socialists to the extreme. And we all know that extremes are good- I mean bad, very very bad. Bastards.
NED—Nedalia- Our neighbors who keep on getting a bigger army which makes us have to get a bigger army which makes them have to get a bigger army. THEY STARTED IT! Bastards.
NOJ—Nojika- They sound to coastal. Being an insular country without much sea is always the best. Also they might have possibly at one point humiliated us. Bastards.
OLI—Oliverry- Frenchies. Bloody fucking Frenchies. Also for some reason LIKE Jonathan Fairbanks. They also beat us in the IAFL despite our clearly better playing. Bastards.
OLL—Ollieland- Frenchie juniors. All that we said to Oliverry applies to them.
PAC—Pacitalia- They live in Canada yet don't suppor the national team. That is ridicioulously unpatriotic AND CANNOT STAND! Bastards.
PED—Pedriana (puppet of Bedistan)- A ruthless dictatorship that actually uses the Totally Inflated Yen. That is just dumb really really dumb. Bastards.
QMB—Quakmybush- They are to damn lucky. Two for two on World Cups. They need to come back to earth and fast. Also they like sharks. Bastards.
QUI—Quirrith- They started the impending war and doom of the region. What the hell are they thinking? Bastards.
REN—Rendition (puppet of Abattoir)- Look at Abbatoir.
SPR—Spruitland- High, all the time. They CREATED new type of drug plant which is their MAIN export. They're fucking Columbian. Bastards.
SRZ—Sarzonia- Over sensitive, to navy oriented and apparently retired but still on NS. These hypocrits need to make up their minds. Bastards.
TLC—The Lowland Clans- Our arch rivals. Ever since they disrepected us in World Cup 24 and later during that same CoH. Eventhough now we laugh at them they did just tie us. Oh and they will also Bloody Clannish Bastards of Doom!
TUR—Turori (puppet of Vilita)- They're fucking Vilitan. Look down at Vilita to see how bad that is Bastards.
UME—United Meridian- They have a new nation but still exist on the map. So we can't trust them with anything but yet they are supposed to be united. Bastards.
USS—USSNA- They don't have a real name just initials. The USSR tried that route and look at what it got them? Bloody Russians. They suck. Bastards.
VIL—Vilita- Fucking Vilitans. They started this region because they got bored of their other regions then they pull the strings of many nations to go to their bidding for no reason. Also they keep beating us kleptochase. Bastards.
WIN—Winchestia- They seemed to be so promising but they haven't come back for a long time. Which sucks. Those double crossing two timers. Clearly Bastards.
XIL—Xile- They have our land on the side right next to that river that we want. We need more of that river and we can't invade them. Bastards.

Slow Climb for Riistamii

While other foreign chasers, such as those from Bazalonia, have been able to storm up the rankings against their counterparts from Az-Cz, Vilita's top competitor, Viliama Riistamii, has been taking the slow and steady approach to his move up the rankings.

"I'm patient. I understand that theres some guys out here that have simply been doing this longer than me, or my teammates. It's nice to be advancing in the rankings, and I had a good run at the Dwarf Challenge. The last tournament obviously didn't go so well but I think come the end of the season I'm going to have a lot of experience to build on, and hopefully can start advancing deeper into the tournaments on a regular basis."

Riistamii, widely regarded as the Vilitan chaser with the most Overall talent, t]has finally proven the pundits by advancing to be the highest ranked Vilitan in the latest Kleptochase rankings. Previously, Riistamii's more specialized teamates had stolen the spotlight, namely Ioalali Morai in the Atlantian Oceania tournament.

Viliama Riistamii paced around the room, waiting for his three Vilitan Teammates, Yabai Tomoai, Ioalali Morai and the always 'fashionably' late, Ootaniz Riiatzor to arrive at their customary pre-tournament meeting.

Riistamii was starting to feel the pressure. Not pressure by the fans, because there were a minimal amount of those still at the moment for Kleptochase. And certainly not by the media. With Vilita currently hosting the NationStates Surf Tour, and soon to be hosting the NationStates World Cup, there was little room on the front page for stories about a little tournament few Vilitans were familiar with that was taking place overseas and no Vilitan was favored to impress.

The pressure Viliama Riistamii was feeling was self imposed. Riistamii was always competitive with himself. He always pushed himself, and was never satisfied with a losing effort. But There hasn't been much winning for the Vilitan's so far on the Kleptochase tour. If it was just the Az-Czzers that were competitive, perhaps it would not have bothered him as much. But there were Bazalonians. There were Mice, and Milchamans... and even Winchestians. All performing better than him.

This was not acceptable to Viliama Riistamii. This was not acceptable at all. Viliama put his foot down, an odd thing to do when he was already standing up, and no one else was in the room. But he put his foot down anyway. No longer would Viliama Riistamii be an also ran. It was time for Viliama Riistamii to make it big..... Then the door opened. It was Yabai, usually the first one there. The two exchanged greetings and comments about the time and the dreadful weather. Yabai then sat down and read the paper.

Little steps, Viliama thought. Little steps. Yabai is over there reading the paper. He obviously doesnt have the same dedication. One step at a time, Viliama thought. So I'm not going to win this tournament. But whats wrong with the Quarter Finals. Riistamii asked Tobai if the Quarter Finals was a realistic goal. "Sure bud" Yabai replied while obviously more worried about the article being read.

Soon after, Iolali walked into the room, and the three chasers sat down and began taking nonsense bets on the excuse that Ootaniz would be using today.

El-Eh Hustle, a speed tournament and with the 2nd place in the Speed Major, the Dwarven Celerity Challenge, Peter Harden was in a positive mood, especially with facing Slo-Bro first. A Gnome that was well known by the Bazalonian to be a slow chaser. In the Previous tournament it was that stupid chaser from QuakMyBush that stopped progressing from the Round of 16. It was a poor tactical choice for the Bazalonian that stopped him getting into the Quarter Finals. He wrongly thought he could contort his body through an obsticle to get to the other-side, However he was not as limber as he thought and managed to get stuck in let's say an awkward position. Giving his opponent free reign. The embarrased Peter shrugged the embarrasment off and joked about it. "Well, I know what the chicken feels like now." He was confident in his speed and Navigation abilities. Just not so good at the whole obsticle thing.

Joshua Trengrove was also pumped, despite his unusually poor performance recently he knew he was a good chaser and he had recently been training in secret. He had been focussing on his strengths and ignoring his weakness Technique was something he was never good at and never really wanted to be good at it either. Joshua always believed in building up his strengths and pushing his advantage. Loosing to the Starblaydi Nurri Tezbaktahir in the second round did little to dampen his spirits which remain high according to a new secret weapon. No one was able to glean any more information about the secret weapon but he did say "Just wait until the tournament and you will find out."

Joshua Hoffman, this one man had brought down 2 Bazalonians Peter Harden and Maria Heatherton, which was a pity as despite her initial poor performance in the tour Maria was starting to get quite a decent little fan club Maria Markers. They travel to the courses that Maria runs and sit in a group. Together they spell out words of encouragement to Maria with placards. Maria has stated that she doesn't know why she has the fans and thinks that the other Bazalonian chasers deserve more attention than her but despite this they Maria Markers still go strong.

Andrew Rather faced a Milchaman in the second round and just failed to knock him out despite their being 2 draws on the matter. It would have not been a shock to him but he was disappointed that it was not an Az-Czid chaser that did not knock any of the Bazalonians out. Either the Az-Czid where getting worse or all the foreigners are getting better. Most likely it was the former but despite his gladness that non-Az-Czid chasers he can't help thinking what would they think when the first non-Az-Czid chaser won their first major.
