*Current Events in New Ausha*

-Republican Union Elected!

Thats right, the RU was elected as of 3 weeks ago. They are so far, sticking too thier promises. These included:

-Better roadways/highways.

-Lower flat tax (-2.25%)

-Increase Free trade

-Decrease oil dependancy

-Decrease Millitary (-6%)

-Decrease Law and Order (-6%)

-Privatization of Hydro power industry (80% private, 20% state)

-Maintain new healthcare system

-Increase public tarnsportation

They have six years too complete all said promises. We look forward too the Chancellors State adress, two years from now.

-Umvitzian Withdrawl Succesfull

As of today, all 750,000 New Aushan troops, who acted as an occupation force, after the capitulation of the Umvitzian goverment, has been leaving at a rate of 20,000 soldiers a month. 3 years later, all our boys have safetly returned home, most of which will be discharged out of service.

Umvitz attack Mateel, in a strange, orbital attack killing 3 million. Promptly after, New Ausha and an allied coalition invaded Umvitz, succesfully defeating the regime, in 9 weeks.

3,000 New Aushan observers remain in Umvitz too inspect the millitary. Restrictions have been applied to the USDF (Umvitzian Self Defense Force)

-No millitary vehicels, over the number of 1500.

-Only 500,000 volunteers allowed in the USDF, with the exception of the allowed 4,500 monthly raise in maximum size

-No nuclear stockpile

-No space program

-Munitions must only attiquitly arm the USDF, no more

-80 Fighters allowed for the USDF

-State Adress from the Chancellor

As customary, the Chancellor recently made his bi-yearly adress too the National Assembly, the Republican Union, and the citizens of New Ausha. The Chancellor adressed the nations paralyzing influx of immigrants from surrounding nations-

"Our ports and airports have finally settled down, with the massive influx if immigration finally brought too an end, and a new age of a much more managable amount of immigration. For this, I have the combined efforts of the SBMS, State and Provincial Police, along with our Home Guard."

Suprisingly, senators and representatives, from thier repsective affiliations, of the entire spectrum, stood and applauded after this statement. This along with the Chancellors adress, of the poor quality of some o the highways.

"The roads, due too a low budget, were left unattended. Over these two years, we have doubled each provinces road building/repair bidget, and re-opened jobs in the field of highway maitenince."

But what alot of people were looking for, was the answer, (two years ago) too the nations terrible unemployment situation, reaching 15.66% as of two years ago. the Chancellor, had this too say:

"The answer too our situation was simple, the re-activation of certain industries, and the privatization, of larger industries."

The unemployment rate, now rests at 12.19%. As for these "certain industries" mentioned, include the refined fuel industry. Which has has gone up, 6 times in production/export. this is due too the crisis in Androv, in which many of our neighboring countries depended on oil and fuel. Northern New Ausha, has an impressive fuel reserve, and an industry with great potential. The refined industries revitalization, has led too astounding export profits, and millions of new jobs.

"We have always had enough fuel, too keep our nation runniing fine. But as our neighbors were cut off, we stepped up. Re-energizing the refined fuel industry. Which, I am proud too say, is now 30% nationalized, and 70% private. This has led too revunues of over 13 times, what we were previously making off fuel export."

As for the national debt, the Chancellor had this too say:

"Too long has this debt been ignored, irritating international loan firms. As of this two years, we are 4.7 trillion credits, less in our accumlated debt."

This was met with resounding applause. As for taxes, which the RP had promised a .7% drop by now, there has been a .3% drop. This has been met with alot of anger, and confusion.

"It has been made clear too me, it is simply not possible too maintain such a budget, and lower out national taxes, and for that, I apologize."

The new, universal healthcare program, automatically insuring 90% of all citizens of all medical expenses, has work well so far, but the Chancellor had a proposal.

"Though the program is amazing, we must think too other matters, such as our expenses. Therefore, I will put a bill before parliment, in two weeks time, asking for the reduction of the program, too cover 80% of all New Aushan citizens, the lowest income coming first of course."

This comes with much skeptisism, as more reductions are expected. Socialists warn, that if the program is cut below 75% of all citizens, they will withdraw support for the RP.

The state adress went very well, with some issues left unadressed however. maller quotes include.

"We have made significant progress, in maintaing provincial/city greenbelts,"

and,

"The hydro power industries, recent privatazation, too 85% private, has created new jobs, and an overall more productive industry."

Approval of the Chancellor, remains at a steady 63%, falling 3 percent from last month.

-Our dear friend, Rustov?

Rustovian premier Mikhail Volodin met with the Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs several days ago. Mr. Volodin spent four days in New Ausha, signing agreements, and even flying his economic advisor in. He was so interested, he sat in a voting session of parliment.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrew Warolov, is in Rustov as we speak, and is suspected of advising Premier Volodin of economic/social issues. New Ausha has decreed Rustov a full ally, as of several days ago.

This is met with critisism amoung liberals, seeing this as support for a communist regime, which, 6 months ago, annexed its neighbor, the former Republic of Androv.

Volodin has recently cut down on nationilzation of industry, changing nearly all industry too 20% private. This along with several repressive social measures repealed, shows a great deal of new Aushan influence, upon the small country.

Rustov now imports 40% of its refined fuel from New Ausha, and recieves 30%of its arms as well.

-WAR!

The Corporate Alliance, has demanded New Ausha's surrender, or risk destruction. The administration is negotiating.

New Ausha has a powerful millitary, but with none of our allies stepping up, it looks grim. All forces, internal and external, have been mobilized, for defense.

-The Wolf of New Ausha, is the new High Commander!

Martin Brezhen, age 71, has been appointed, by Chancellor Ruas, as the new High Commander.

Bio- Brezhen

Brezhen was born in Hessen, New Ausha. He constantly was in trouble at school, being expelled from two. At age 16, his parents sent him too a millitary academy, outside of Dyter, New Ausha. When he was 18, he legally amancipated himself. Shortly after, he signed up for the Air Force. He was promtly rejected, due too his troublesome past.

He then re-applied for the Army. He was accepted. At a young age, he found himself in boring desk jobs, until the Thergo-Honshu conflict. He was put into the infantry. In simply 2 months, he had gone from private too Master Seargent, due too his almost, "unhuman" courage.

After Honshu, Brezhen settled down with Lauri Caulfer, when he was 23. Shortly after, New Ausha was at war with Tankeda-Nygua. Brezhen re-applied too the army. Once again, he rose rapidly. In a short 6 moths, he had become a lt. colnel. Showing amazing oragnization and strategic skills, he was made general, at age 35.

20 years later, New Ausha was attacked by Umvitz. Major general Brezhen commanded the 6th army. He dismantled the umvitzian defences, in a very short time.

During Chancellor Rua's Republican Union Campagins, Crezhen furiosly campaigned for Ruas, and the RU.

Ruas recently appointed him as High Commander, the highest millitary position (with the exception of the Chancellors title of, Supreme Commander) He will controll New Aushas defense, while only taking orders from the Defense Minister, Chancellor, and Vice Chancellor.

-Chemical scare in Ostov

Radicals, form the organization known simply as "dusk," a terrorist cell that has been hunted in NA for over 40 years, has left western Ostov shaken.

Around 6:40 pm, 4 terrorists, shot at an elderly women, Annaleese Kyvolt, with an Ak-47 assault rifle. She was dead instantly, after being shot in the back of the head.

City Police shot too the apartment complex, minutes later, setting up a perimiter. Within 20 minutes, CPA had taken over. it was soon revealed the terrorists had an intact Chemical artillery shell, in the room with them. They threatened too detonate. After a 2 hour standoff, a lone CPA agent, bravely climed up the fire escape, and when he got up too the window, he fired 5 M9 rounds, killing all of them.

One of the terrorists was a previous NewAge Arms Manufacturing Inc. employee, who had simply stolen the shell, on his last day of work.

Aside from dear Analeese, nobody else was hurt, and the shell has been sent back too NewAge. NewAge has pledged too take a new inventory on current employees, which may take some time, considering that it holds, millions of employees.

-WAR!! AGAIN!


The Chancellor issued an impassioned speech, in the national assembly tonight, in which he expressed his will, to attack the Corporate Alliance.

"Too Long has the Corporate Alliance oppressed the peoples of free states. What was their crime? Retaining sovereignty? This was a justified reason for war? I think not! Too long has the CA broken international law, and walked over smaller nations, in the name of business and finance! Disgraceful! Our only regret is that we did not establish the CECA sooner! If you are oppressed by the CA join us! Rise up in our fight against the international oppressors! Only through our numbers may we overcome the evil in the world today, that is the CA. The virtuous alliance of the GASN has been harassed by these warmongers long enough! We will unify with them. With this, we will persevere. Though there numbers and strength may be frightening, we mustn't waver! This is their power! Intimidation! If they are not walking over a small nation, they are nothing! Corporate Alliance, your days are numbered. International crimes and grievance will soon catch up with you."

His speech was met with an impassioned applause. Minutes later, the National Assembly ratified the Declaration of war. 89% For, 11% Against. A resounding support for the attack.

It is expected that the Blackhelm Confederacy, a nation with terrible imperialist habits, will be attacked first, due too the BC being the main aggressor of the CA.

We pray that god protects our citizens and soldiers.

-War Continues

The war continues, as our brave soldiers continue too fight the blood-thirsty invaders.

In total, 5 Destroyers, and 4 Battleships, have been lost too the enemy, along with 3 Submarines, and some 40 Aircraft. Relatively light, compared too then presumed invader losses.

In total, about 24,000 Aushan have lost thier lives. Do not forget thier sacrifice, as it has led us one step closer, too victory.

-Our retribution!

The Chancellor, seemingly fed up, with simply being ignored by our allies, has declared war on the Blackhelm Confederacy. The declaration was ratified by the national assembly, though it would have been far more approapriate for him too wait, for the ratification.

Despite a coalition of senators and rpresentatives too block the acceptance of the bill, it passed, with an appropriate 75.3%. This shows that still, 25% of National Assembly members do not believe in this declaration.

"Another bloody useless war,"

Quote Representative Hans Guilder. Guilder was an outspoken proponet too the first attack on Blackhelm, and seems too retain his beliefs. In the eyes of the public, polls were differnt.

Agree too Attack: 68%

Disagree in Attack: 28%

Indiffern't: 4%

(Margin of error +/- 2%)

Though the obvious majority supports tha attack, the strong minority may prove too be outspoken. Already, outside many seaports, thousands of angry protesters have appeared.

The attack will commence, in the next few days. Be sure too pray for the brave Aushans, being sent aborad.

Maldorians, long time friend and ally of new Ausha has come under attack, by a dreadful enemy. Help is on its way.

This comes after the retribution against Blackhelm, which did not result in any conflict, but was rather expected too be a threat. Millitary officilas have been saying, that conflict is imminent.
