The First Ever Pre-Season Soccer(Futbol,Football) Bowl Championships
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i189/seanmyhre/SoccerBowlCup.jpg
The Pre-Season Soccer Bowl Championships should prove to be a good one. Teams will fight hard and long to have their nations name engraved on the cup first, have that cup held in there city and have the bragging rights for life that they conquered the enemy and captured the cup for the first time! The Championship will be held in Delesa at the National Soccer Centre. (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i189/seanmyhre/DelesaSoccerCentre.jpg) So come one come all, to the First Pre-Season Soccer Bowl Championships. The cut off is at 16 teams. For the first Championship. The Season following, unlimited, but i would like to keep it small.

Alright in this tournment, the scores are made by a random score generator. Each Team is promised 5 games. After that you have to win.

2 Round Robin Games (for sure)
3 Games within your pool (for sure)
1 Game Against the Other Pool
1 Final Game

The teams that lost in the semi-final round will play against each other for third place and fourth place.

Then if the teams are willing a season will start based on rankings and its like the NHL video games where teams overall skill gains after a season. Then after a season, the bowl cup will be played again. And so forth. So state if you want to play in the season.

Post your teams here with 11 field players (including your keeper) and up to 7 substtites and coaching staff (manager, head coach) and there numbers and positions. And if you have a jersey post it on top of your roster. Also select 2 captains.

Also after each game, teams will be able to RP. Including Injuries, Who scored the goals, cards and all that other good stuff. Make sure you say who scored the goals, so he can be awarded the Golden Goal Award for most goals.

Also if you plan to go into the season post that you want to and your home field.

There is the Pre-Season Football Bowl Championship. Which is what the nations are signing up for now. 14 teams. 4 teams in 4 groups. Now for the Football Bowl Championship, you are guaranteed 5 games. 2 of which are prescheduled matchs at random. These dont count for your Championship points. Then you get 3 games, playing against the 3 teams in your pool. Then you have to have the most points in your pool to move on.

Pool A
a Wins all three games and moves on.
b Losses all three and doesn't move on.
c Wins 2 losses 1, and dosen't move on.
d Wins 1 losses 2, and dosen't move on.

Pool B
e Wins all three games and moves on.
f Losses all three and doesn't move on.
g Wins 2 losses 1, and dosen't move on.
h Wins 1 losses 2, and dosen't move on.

3 points for a win(just like the big leagues), 1 for a tie(just like the big leagues), and 0 for a loss(just like the big leagues).

So team a moves on with 9 points. Winner of group A.
Team e moves on with 9 points. Winner of group B.

Teams a and b play each other. Team A wins.
Team a = 12 pts.
Team b = 9 pts.

Team a moves on to the final round. What i just explained happens to Groups C & D. Lets say team i wins group C, and team m wins group d. Team i wins over m.

Team i plays team a for the Football Bowl Championship.

Teams b plays teamm for 3rd and fourth place.

Then based on thise standings we move into the season.

Just to ask how will game play work, just like regular soccer games would be played just in rp terms or will there be a random game generator which decides the game results?

It was a increadable game. The Delesa Woman's Football Club, challenged the National Delesa FC.

DWC vs. DFC
1 - 3

Goals: 26min-Michael McShane(DFC), 28min-Juliette Lanier(DWC), 47min-Fernando Kellett(DFC), 75min-Joseph-Marie Turpin(DFC)

Cards: 46min-Marie-Fantine Boissel(Yellow)(DWC)

It was a intense game from kick off. The ball was stuck in the DFC half for a majority of the begining, and the Women's team looking for a early goal commited too far and on a rebound over Trish Mahose's head, Micheal McShane used what he is best known for, his speed and out ran her. Blasting a shot from just inside the 18 yeard box, the National team had the early start that the Women were looking for. The men then seemed to slack off and Juliette Lanier scored from a header kicked from the right corner. Then until half, the ball remained stuck going back and forth in the center. When play was resumed affter half, Marie-Fantine Boissel slide tackled Fernando Kellett outside the top left of 18 yard box. A wallwas set up but to no advantage. Fernando curled the ball around the wall and hit the side bar and went in. From that point on, it seemed the women lost hope and sort of gave up. Then in the 75 minute Joseph-Marie Turpin got a deflection from a kick from Michael McShane from a kick from the side line, after McShane ran the ball up. Yes ladies and gentalmen, the Delesa Women are a force to be messed with. The Head Coach Frank Miller announced that the womens team wouldnt compete in the season, but drop back down to the Delesa Premire Women's League, and will return for the next Bowl Championship.

another country that loves soccer, good. The Commitee sees it fit for you to join. List your roster, managers, coaches, captains, and all the other stuff in the first post. Are you planning to join the season?

yes and i ahve applied for it, but this isnt the world cup, ite the football bowl championship, and posibly a season too. Like the English Premire League.

Premier. Although I'll note the Premiership never had a knockout phase.

yeah but this is the pre-season champtionship, then we go into the leauge, see people can join to only play in the championship, or they can do the championship then move on to the season which has proper ranking, or they can choose to only do the season.

This is never going to work. Among the many flaws with your league's "structure", not being able to spell either "Premier" or "Championship" correctly does not bode well for said competition.

Well yeah my spelling sucks here, and yeah it probaly wont work cause of people like you, and that fact people, maybe like you, look at me as some kind of n00b. Which in fact im not this just a new profile, i deleted my other two, oh and i guess cause im new to this international peace stuff, where before i only did wars and that sort of RPG. But why not have a crack at it. Just got to learn from my mistakes.

Just to add on to what has been said: with no fixed trusted scorination device, and an equally confusing and unfair competition layout, there is no way this is going to succeed.

You know what, if people dont think this is going to work well then i will close this one and make a new some time later. But does anyone have a leauge set up?? And whats so confusing and unfair about it? Just so i can get it right next time. Because the way the championship groups works, its corect.

No, it really, really isn't. One team loses once in the group stages, and they're automatically hamstrung for the next season - that's not fair. No scorination method - doubly unfair.
