It’s that time again. Yep, that’s right. The 4th Edition of the Draggonnii Inviyatii is at hand.


Things will be just a little different this time around. Due to lack of time to count RPs as in cups past. And my wife was too aggrevated to count them this time either.

So this is somewhat of an open signup thread. Just a few requirements to meet.

Guaranteed acceptance to any nation that signs up provided they either/or
1 - posted at least five (5)RP s during WC29 qualification.
2 - have previously participated in a Draggonnii Inviyatii.

This give a rough idea of how many nations will enter. In Dis [ast, we have had between 16 and 24 nations participate. Up to 32 would be welcome. If more nations that meet the above requirements sign up, all will be included regardless.

Other nations may sign up if they wish, but their spot is not guaranteed. Sorry. My rules. Nations will be chosen from this list to fill out the groups to be even depending on the number of pre-qualified nations that enter.

The Draggonnii Inviyatii is not a WCC sanctioned tourney. You will receive no bonus to your KPB for entering. This is simply a “For Fun” tourney that loses the stress that accompanies the WC itself. A chance to relax and RP. Bragging rights are all that is at stake.

Sarzonia won the first two DIs while slipping down the world rankings. NMS won the third and is the current champion. And they have done very well this cup. Tadjikistan has been the most consistent during the three editions of this tourney, but have failed to win the title. Perhaps Starblaydia. ASMV, or The Archregimancy or Ariddia can finally do well in this tourney. We have all struggled through it thus far. Or perhaps Cuation, D&S, or a newcomer will compete for the title. Anything can happen here.

The scorinator is Nsfootysim and the rankings used are KPB. RP bonus will be very important, as in tourneys past. But mostly this is simply for fun.

OOC: Are you doing this in conjunction W/ BoF 30 or before?? also the WWC 3 is starting up and the Olympics....just wondering.

The Inviyatii is one year before the WC on my timetable.

I am co-hosting the BoF as well. Perhaps they will run simultaneously. Havent considered that yet.

The WWC is going on as well - but in LE.

The Olympics are in Casari.

I like running the DI. Gives some stress free time for whatever squad I send. It will run as normal regardless of whatever else is going on. It is up to others to decide if they want to participate in it. I believe enough nations like playing in the DI to run it as usual. Thanks for the question, though. Let me know if you have others to be answered.

OOC: What i meant was there's A LOT of RP stuff up right now.. some people may be worn thin (me...) of doing 3 or 4 RP's a nite in 3 or 4 different threads.. just asking when you were planning on starting. IF the timing is alright then count me in.. but for now put me as a maybe... thanks.

Ariddia signs up... and will try to avoid the Wooden Spoon Match this time.

Starblaydia, having finished third, third and fifth in the Dragonnii Thiingyii's so far, will, of course, send a squad to the fourth.

I'm pretty sure I fulfill the requirements, so Becquerelia signs up.

We're sending another C team but who cares! 6th isn't bad so we are returning.

Schiavonia aren't going to have much better to do other than sit around and watch the olympics all day. Non-stop coverage of Archery and Equestrian threatens to bore Schiavones to death for weeks on end unless we can do something about it!

Happy to sign up but cannot realistically RP until August.

I'll sign up, but I won't have time to RP until I get back from Vancouver halfway through August. Still, count me in.

TITLE DEFENSE!!!!

Three years after a surprise trip to the Round of 16, the Sarzonian national football team choose to re-enter the Draggonnii Inviyatii with a goal to win our third trophy.

Having managed to upset Sarzonia in the last Dragonnii Inviyatii, Geisenfried signs up to see what further mischief we can cause.

Dorian and Sonya will return for another mid-pack run.

I'd like to join, and although I didn't have much RPing during qualifying, maybe I can compensate with my quite tasty Finals RPs?

Maybe finally I can get into a bracket that is not the Consolation bracket

since i still can;t log in as tynelia until who knows when i think i'll just sign up as tessan this time around. i think they barely sneak in the qualifications anyway. besides you HAVE to have knights at a tourney involving Dragons. i mean who else would save all the fair maidens from being eaten?

edit- oops i suppose technically Tessan doesn;t qualify as this would be their first DI unless you count Tynelia's presence in previous ones as a loophole for the puppet.

Does Tessan qualify under this?... If not then you might still be able to have your puppet to enter... but it would be ASMV's descretion (Most likely depends on how many people sign up and what's an easy number to host.)

by my count i had six posts with possibly one other that i never bothered saving on the computer from Tessan so i slip in under that umbrella, but the sign up post said both criterion were needed (at least the way i read it) so i know i failed on the second one as tessan has only been around for one WC.

if its no go then no biggie, i could use a bit of a break before the next WC- trying to RP two nations at once takes forever not to mention trying to remember who i'm supposed to be with each post ;) that's partly why i didn't bother entering Tessan in the CoH even though thanks to the jolt bug Tessan has probably posted more than Tynelia in it.

Since I may have been unclear, the requirements are either/or. You dont have to meet both to be accepted. I will add that to the front page.

Updated through Tessan. I have the ability to make a host exception. Tynelia would qualify automatically, I would have to check on Tessan for sure. If you would rather have Tessan compete, that's fine. But if the RP limit was not reached, they could be bumped for a nation that did. If you would rather enter Tynelia, I will allow the RP to be posted by Tessan as long as Jolt is being Jolt.

Anyway- (Ouch - wife slapped me too) - there are still 12 hours of open signups. After that the RP/Everything else thread will be posted.

V&I will politely turn down the proposal of being part of the Draggonnii Inviyatii.

Dispite admiring the sprit of fairness and the joy of competing alongside successful and proud nations, V&I will be unable to participate in the 4th Edition of the Draggonnii Inviyatii.

In fact, V&I already has a tour of New Cyberia planned, and sevral dates conflict with the tournament.

V&I would however stress that they would strongly appreciate to be part of a further Draggonnii Inviyatii, should they be eligible to participate.

In closing, V&I would like to express their deepest and strongest hopes for a tournament that they are sure will be competed in a spirit of fairness and sportsmanship that many other tournaments are unable to find.
