NS Game Fishing League Signups:

The league (NSGFL) will involve a number of participants up to about 40 people. A tournament or competitive fishing event involves release of the tournament fish once they have been weighed and the weight recorded. It can take place in a single day or over a period of days of an event. The angler, or team of up to 4, with the largest total weight is declared the winner.

Timing: All are welcome to submit an event & location in their own waters no matter what the conditions or weather is like, they can also declare a Purse of which everyone chases, with $250,000 be the maximum per event.

Anglers: To submit an angler or team of anglers (up to 4) just supply their names, ages, where they are from & what achievements they have had (keep it realistic).

His Waters: Saltwater
Achievements: Won the Southern National Marlin League, tagging 4 marlin with an average weight of 82.8kgs

David Waterhouse:

I will submit a fish: - Foran, a hard-fighting fish found around breakwalls that takes to weed. Typical weight is 8.9kgs. Record Weight is 25.5kgs. Even if you have hooked one & takes more than skill to land these fish, many have lost them trying to net them from the wall upon bringing it out of water

Event: Toraquan National Saltwater Championship:
The TNSC will be open to all have a total purse of $215,000, with winner getting $100,000. It will be held on the west coast at Liverpool Bay on the breakwall. Typical fish to be caught include Foran, Albacore Tuna, Mako Shark, Whaler Shark, Wahoo & Kingfish. The weather is great all year around, although its often very warm, but still the fish bite.
In this event, no boats can be used, its from Breakwall to water event!
