To those I have TGed about this, here it is.

I wish to do an RP based in a fantasy realm. Here's the deal. There are twelve gods. The gods are genderless, but appear as adult male humans. The gods are:

Xirdneh- God of the Sky and the Wind
Notpalc- God of Nature
Egap- God of Light
Immoi- God of Darkness
Ruomlig- God of the Cosmos
Nhguav- God of the Earth
Kceb- God of Water
Eromkcalb- God of Fire
Sdaohr- God of Msticality and Non Phyiscal Things
Temah- God of Metal and Physical Things
Yrraum- God of Life
Htims- God of Death

Xirdneh and Notpalc are the oldest of the gods, Sdaohr and Temah are the youngest. The gods have been peaceful, but a conflict has arisen. Xirdneh and Notpalc have begun to hate each other, and now they are preparing for war. Ten of the twelve gods are doing battle. They have split into two forces. They are as follows:

Nhguav vs. Ruomlig
Kceb vs. Eromkcalb
Sdaohr vs. Temah

the gods of life and death are not fighting, for if they do, all the world will cease to exist. You will create a character to explore the world, and prepare for the final battle. U have given invites to some nations firt, and they have reserved places. Until they get back to me, no one new can join. However, you can post on the thread to show me if your interested. This is just an introductory post. More posts containing a whole lot more information will be arriving shortly.

Xirdneh- God of the Sky and Wind
One of the two eldar gods, Xirdneh is the creator of the universe. He has recently started a war with Notpalc. He appears as a young man with dark skin and hair, wearing a white outfit, wielding a transperant axe in both hands.
Powers- Control of Wind, can summon tornadoes, can bend the clouds and sky to his will.
Race- The Imij, a race of humaniods that live high in mountains and cliffs. They, like the god they worship, have dark skin and hair. They create amazing airships that patrol the skies. Although known as a civilization of love and peace, they are ferocious in war.
Monster-Guaruda, a giant mix of man and eagle. It has the body and arms of a man, with the legs, wings, claws, and head of an eagle. It flies and incredible speeds, swooping down and causing high speed winds and sonic booms as it goes.

Notpalc- The God of Nature
The other of the two eldar gods and creators of the world. Notpalc is just as powerful as Xirdneh, and equally reverred. He dressed in green, herbal garb, wielding a staff carved from his holy tree. He appears as a man with brown hair, slightly older lokking then Xirdneh.
Powers- Control of plants, can grow massive trees in an instant, bends nature to his will.
Race- The Rekab, forest dwelling humaniods. They have pointy ears, and are one with the forrests. Using this to their advantage, they have amazing skills with camofluoge. They worship Notpalc.
Monster- The World Turtle, a turtle the size of a small city which originally held the Earth while the gods crafted it. It has a massive forest on it's back, filled with creatures. The turtle is a stunning creature to look at, but it is far more aggresive than any other turtle.

Oh sounds interesting . Might well enjoy playing a wandering follower ( or perhaps priestess ) of the God of Fire.

Egap- God of Light
Egap is a kind and loving god. He brings light were ever he goes, and is shrouded by a brightness. He appears as a human with long, curly blonde hair. He wears white clothing, and carries a bow that shots arrorw of light.
Powers- Can create light, make light stronger, and shapeshift light
Race- Trebor, a race of light skinned beings who live in deserts. They build majestic cities and use light as a power source from their god. In battle they have been known to reflect light to blind or burn foes.
Monster- Aeakis, a warrior who stands several stories tall. He carries a blade of light and a mirror shield, and smites foes in the name of his god.

Immoi- God of Darkness
Although not evil a many people percieve him, Immoi is a grim god. He dresses in black, has curly black hair, and an aura of darkness surronds him. He wields a large black warhammer that is almost impossible to see in his hands.
Powers- Control of Darkness to make it stronger, or to create thiing from it.
Race- The Darklings, who live in a large cave system. Misunderstood like the god they worship, they have sharp claws, black skin, and small, pointed ears. They are powerful warriors who travel by night, or underground.
Monster- Walpurgis, a giant boar with long iron tusks and feet. It can smash an entire city in seconds with one of it's rampaging charges, or devour an army by sucking them in in a black hole it creates in it's mouth.

Tanara, I am still waiting for someone to get back to me. Unless he chooses the fire god, you can be the character you suggested. Here is a brief explanation of gods. When you create your character, you can pick any of the twelve gods to be your patron god. You can be a servant of that god, or just a wanderer who has their blessings. Then, you choose a secondary god, who gives you blessings as well, but less powerful than the othe rgods. You can only pick two gods on the same side. And ONLY TEN RPER'S ARE ALLOWED, AND 5, 7 INCLUDING TANARA AND THE PERSON YET TO GET BACK TO ME, SPOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN, SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, POST NOW!!!!!!!!

good to see your interested. Like I said, I'm not sure about another guy who has yet to get back to me and he had a spot reserved, so I'll put you down under darkness, but it's subject to change, just like Tanara.

Also, would you be able to have 1 of the 2 gods who arn't participating in the battle as a secondary one? I mean theres always the chance you will die and being friendly to the god of death can't be a bad thing if that happens :p

Looking at the choices, probably the couterpart to whichever Theao chooses if Theao does choose one.

Ruomlig- God of the Cosmos
The god of the cosmos, Ruomlig is the second oldest god, after the two eldars. He is a mysterious god who is incredibly powerful. Not much is known about him by mortals, except his followers. He has been known to appear as a human dressed in black and white with long white hair, wielding a morning star mace.
Powers- The ability to affect all non planetery things in space, such as stars, black holes, and meteors.
Race-Divads, a group of humans who split themself off from other humans to study the cosmos. They live in large open plains to study the skies. They use a variety of weapons in war, including the morning star mace.
Monster- The Dylof, a bizarre alien lifeform. It appears to be a large mantis like insect, but instead of mandibles, it has jaws with razor sharp teeth, and human like eyes, as well as two plant like organisms growing out of it's back which fire acid and snap at foes with their jaws.

Nhguav- God of The Earth
Nhguav is not just the god of Earth as in rocks and dirt, but of the planet Earth. It was he who created the ball of rock which would become the planet. He wears a sand colored robe and has taned skin with medium legnth brown hair.
Powers- Affect the planet, as in speed rotation or alter axis, controls rock and ground
Race- The Eathi's, a group of nomadic travellers who follow the seasons across the planet. They are expert riders and tamers of any animal, and field many of them in combat. They appear like humans, but tanner.
Monster- The Yar, a multi mile long worm that dwells under the Earth. It can create earthquakes and massive quicksand filled areas, or erupt from the Earth and engulf prey with it's gigantic jaws.

You would have your primary patron and get the main benefits, then a secondary patron on the same side and get weaker benefits from that.

What the benefits are we haven't been told as far as i can ascertain, unless there hinted at in the god descriptions so far.

Hype, it's exactly like Kitab said. And when you make your character, you make up the blessing your god gives you, as long as it is resonable and it context with that god.

Kceb- The God of Water
Kceb is a god who changes his mood in an instant. He can go from calm and peaceful to raging and vicious. He appears as a man with medium-long brown hair in a blue robe, wielding a spear of coral and and orb of ice.
Power- Control of Water, can create tsunami's, hurricanes, etc.
Race- Aquatians, a group of amphibious humaniods. They have webbed feet and hands, as well as gills. They build cities along beaches that go down into the seas. They have the greatest navy in the world.
Monster- The Leviathan, a giant mammalian creature with tusks, massive clawed limbs, and two air holes on the top of it's head. The Leviathan breathes air, and it occasionally burst from the deeps to breathe. It can also move slowly on land.

Eromkcalb- The God of Fire
Eromkcalb is actually a rather kind and warm god, rather than the crazed madmen some see him as. Despite this, if Eromkcalb is angered, few survive his wrath. He appears as a man with medium-long black hair, clothed in black, wileding a flaming sword and a shield of molten rock. He is surronded by fire, the size of which depends on his mood.
Powers- Control of fire and lava, can cause volcanoes to erupt.
Race- Eihcir, a group of humaniods with somewhat catlike eyes. They have a reddish taint to their skins. They live on volcanic islands which keeps them safefrom fire, but weak against cold. They build massive siege that fire molten metal and spit fire.
Monster- Nidhogg, a flying red dragon which can turn a mile of farmland into an ashy wasteland. It has vicious claws and teeth which it can slash away at it's foes, before engulfing them in firery death.

okay, again, I'm waiting for Theao and another player who is currently away to get back to me. It should start in a few days, and as I said, things might change, but hopefully blaastit won't shake things up to much.

Sdaohr- The God of Mysticality
Sdaohr is one of thw twins, the two youngest gods. He is a student of Xirdneh, and willl do anything for him, even fight against his own brother. He has long blonde hair, and wears a robe that constantly changes colors, wielding a scythe. He is tied in with emotions, especially love.
Powers- Can affect any non physical substance, magic powers
Race- Zoy, a group of humaniod mages. They live together in small colonies all across the world. The most intellegent of all the races, these mages can do complex magic spells for benefit to them, or the harm of foes.
Monster- Niart, an almost jelly fish like creature. It is merely a brain with a thick membrane around it. However, it's brain is incredibly powerful, and it can use psychic powers to it's advantage, as well as using tendrils to whip foes around with.

I know, I heard. Someone told me he was gone for awhile, but it shouldn't be a problem. Lup, our gods are equal in power. Your god is not only god of earth but god of THE Earth, as in the planet and the moon and such.

Temah- The God of Metal and War
The other twin, Temah is much different from his brother. He is cunning and powerful, and is revered by warriors. He does not wish to fight his brother, but will if Notpalc, his teacher, wills it. He appears as a man with long curly black hiar, wearing armor and wielding a weapon that changes into any weapon depending on the circumstance.
Powers- Master warrior, controls metal
Race- The Krik, a race of powerful warriors. They are humaniods whose bodies are scarred and worn from years of battle. They test themselves constantly, and live for the feel of steel and battle.
Monster- The Iron Titan, a giant automaton made of iron. It is somewhat skinny, but bristling with spikes and and blades. It is an almost unstoppable machine of doom, moving through sea, fire, wind or cities to reach it's goal.

I'm just curious as to where my jurisdiction ends. For instance do I have control over other planets and various asteriods since they are made of rock? Or am I limited to to The earth and the moon?

Earth Moon, and anything nearby Earth that isn't a planet, so a few comets and asteriods. The rest are my gods area. And I just want to make sure that everyone knows you are going to RP as a character, not a god, that you make up. You RP as the god later on.

No, they will have two different sets.

Yrraum- The God of Life
Yrraum is a revered god who brings all living things, with the exception of the gods, to being. He appears as a man with medium legnth wavy brown hair, clothed in white, wielding a sword. Ironiclly, he has a friendship with Htims which as lasted millineas.
Powers- Can revive dead things, gives life, heals
Race- The Lumi, a group of highly religious humaniods. They are similar to the Trebor, but with brown hair. They work as healers and priests for other races. Altough they detest war, they have been known to use the power of their god in combat.
Monster- Lifegiver, a large angelic humaniod. It glows with a holy light and goes about healing and doing good for many races. However, it is also known to destroy wrongdoers in a blast of holy energy.

Htims- The God of Death
Although he is feared by all, Htims is also worshipped. He is the one who judges the dead and gives them their fate for eternity. He appears similar to his good friend and opposite god Yrraum, but clothed in black and wielding a vicious battle axe.
Powers- Control of Death, judges fates of all things, even gods.
Race- Nairda, a group of humaniods who are very solemn. They live in large cities, but tend to avoid outside interaction with other races. They do, however, give the dead of all races their last rites and burial, and are known to wander the land in assistance to the restless dead.
Monster-The Hallowed, a giant corpse. It can spread death and disease as it walks, but is only let out of the underworld when Htims deams it nescessary to punish a city or people for their crimes.

There are all the profiles. Soon I'll give the character creation set-up and world info, etc.

That's silly... One tornado, one earthquake or volcano or tsunami, and every power I have is history... fire, magic, cosmos... all of them easily defeat nature.

Exactly! And I listed wind and nature as the oldest gods and creator of the universe. The turtle just held the Earth while they made it complete. Plus, you can create lifeforms out of nothing. Anything you want. Huge dragons, etc.

Flowers who's pollen is a lethal toxin or a sleeping thingy like the poppies from Wizard of Oz, plagues of locusts, trees that can move, ect.

Nature is a creator, that's a very vague and powerful ability. Also some wood cannot be burnt, some plants cannot be cut down. You don't give nature much credit :p

But only if the targets REALIZE it's there and affecting them(if it works fast enought then they wouldn't realize it and be bent over a desk), otherwise, it'd be a nigh perfect trap.

Everyone's god is equal in strength to the god they face off against. And remeber, you will be making CHARACTERS and Rping as them, not as you god, except for a little bit, mostly at the end. I keep getting distracted (not becasue of you, at work) and can only write shorter posts.

both are at fault. Both Xirdneh and Notpalc hate each other, and being the eldar gods, the other gods rallied with them. Be back soon, have business to attend to. Hopefully when I return I'll get the character creation up.

I'll be Temah then, it puts me on the 'team' i wanted.

picking a secondary one will be annoying, though, all the ones on this side (and the death one) look good... hmmm.


Edit: Out of curiosity, nature gods ability to grow trees... is that anywhere/on anything? i can't think of many things that would be able to fight if a tree grew out of its head, or even grew around it, stuck in a tree. Self-pricking thorns from it's body would hurt.

good way to slow down an army, lots and lots of thorny brambles :D
or that lethal grass from the film Aeon Flux. Brings a new depth to signs that say 'Keep of the grass'

Mount- What you character rides on. Get creative here, but within reason.
Background- A bio of your character
Level of Servitude- How much you obey your god. Can be completely obediant or just a person blessed by them.

Whatever you want them to be, as long as they go along with the gods abilities and a mortal can perfom them.

And, just in case people missed it, the monsters of the gods are huge. Like, Titan big. And there will be more monsters than just those.

Devotion: He's the guy that reveres them both to such a degree that he's the go-between. Not a high priest or arch-canon, but the guy that knows them personally, due to his job.

Bio: A man whose mother was Lumi and father Nairda, Sonteri Mortiel is a man of two worlds. He is joined in equal portions to both Yrraum and Htims, due to his strange family ties, and his eyes reveal his nature. The right is dark, piercing, and truth seeking, the left is bright, joyous, and inspiring.

As a boy, his parents, and thus he as well, spent equal time with both the Lumi and the Nairda, so he is familiar with both societies, but does not feel completely at home in either. Taking to the road when he came to man-hood, he eventually came to a lost temple, made of marble blocks laid out in various, monochromatic patterns of alternating black and white.

Praying at the alter, he accidentally cut himself on a jagged rock in the center. This action transported his conscious to a room where two men sat before him, one a joy to behold, the other solemn and noble. They introduced themselves as Yrraum and Htims, and offered him a job: Act as their go-between and eyes and ears regarding mundane matters. Since the two were great friends, they had resolved that there should be two people that would report to them, but that of course would lead to competition amongst the two to gain favor in their own god's eyes. Sonteri was free of this fault: Being of both races devoted to the two, he was equally disposed to both gods, and would need to live in a world of balance for him to be at peace. Thus, he could not curry the favor of one over the other without causing himself harm.

Sonteri now wanders the world, looking for imbalances, and acting as he is guided. Every year, he returns to the temple to discuss with Yrraum and Htims about what major imabalances they need to address, and to get any important assignments from the two.

OK, UOZ and EVERYONE, God, I hate having to throw my skeletons in front of everyone's face, but considering what UOZ must have written, and what I see left ... PMS? Ha I WISH!

Shit, I hate telling people this, and even when I do a vast amount of people have no clue what this all entails.

To you particularly UOZ, as you seem to be bent on messing with me: I am going through a very rough drug withdrawal... one that most do in the hospital, detox/rehab etc., except I'm doing it at home. My moods freak out left and right and I can't even tell half the time until someone else tells me to go take a nap. Because that is what I am suppossed to do. I am beyond the "possible death" stage, but I have to take a lot of other things to prevent other horrors from this drug. It's a brain mess up thang... prescription, but I got it online and have been taking it a long time.

So if I get grouchy or whiney, that would be my neurotransmitters adjusting and signs that I need to sleep. Depression comes for no reason unexpectedly. Please give me a break. UOZ, don't make it worse for me. I started out this morn w/a horrid headache and have had to take a lot of valium, an injection 1 1/2" long needle, which I thankfully did near a gargbage as when I pulled the needle out blood shot out all over. Some times I have been on 15 meds a day. I am slowly going off all of this, but please expect some erratic behavior. So far Blastit's seen the worst and helped me a lot as I lost my memory in the RPs!

This is so embarrassing, but those who have RPd with me in my normal state last year and such know this isn't my usual self. Just cut me a little slack and if I start getting weird, someone tell me, because I can't tell myself. I'm also in a lot of pain a lot of the time.

I don't want anyone's pity, it's my fault this happened, however just give me a break with the mood issues... especially you UOZ, as you seem to want to nail me since you and I met day one for no reason.

I didn't forget about you Hype, I just didn't mention you because I didn't want you to feel rushed. Tanara resigned, so fire, water, and light are opened. Hopefully when ever blastit gets back he'll take a character, maybe I'll ask some one from No Prayer as well. As for your question, I didn't understand it, so I'll answer to the best of my ability. You get more powerful abilities from your patron god, weaker powers from your secondary god, and you can be a direct servant of that god, a former servant, or just some one blessed by them. Hope that clears things up, if not, that's my bad.

how about a wolf, that can occasionally make jumps into the netherworld, but not all the time.

Perfect. He's big, mean, nice, savage, noble, etc. He makes the jumps only on the full moons, and transports Sonteri to the temple of the two gods every year, once a year, regardless of location. Otherwise, he's just a really big beasty (that is intentional, PotC2 and all) that can kill stuff but also save stuff (healing tongue, good for licking).

Oh, by the way, Notpalc should have plants, animals, bacteria, fungi, and protists. Basically, Nature means organisms, so that goes to Notpalc. Lupourom, you said that your patron had animals, but unfortunately, that person is limited to rocks, the planet, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc. Nature, from the posts, means any type of organism, so Notpalc (patron of Hype's char) gets that forte. Just as long as its not a plague. That goes to Htims.

Nhguav is not just the god of Earth as in rocks and dirt, but of the planet Earth. It was he who created the ball of rock which would become the planet. He wears a sand colored robe and has taned skin with medium legnth brown hair.
Powers- Affect the planet, as in speed rotation or alter axis, controls rock and ground
Race- The Eathi's, a group of nomadic travellers who follow the seasons across the planet. They are expert riders and tamers of any animal, and field many of them in combat. They appear like humans, but tanner.
Monster- The Yar, a multi mile long worm that dwells under the Earth. It can create earthquakes and massive quicksand filled areas, or erupt from the Earth and engulf prey with it's gigantic jaws.

Clearly states: ground, rocks, etc. His race tames animals, but the power belongs to Notpalc, God of Nature. Only basing off the posting here. :D

Your patron's blessings give your char a unique talent, talent viewed as fearsome, but unbelievably useful. Imagine the fear you will strike into your enemies. Imagine! Just don't get revealed by a blast of light from whoever uses the light god as a patron.

The race has gills, but can they also breath on land and move about or must they return to water for certain times if they go on land?

The race can breathe on both, but the Leviathan breathes air, but it can hold it's breath for weeks before coming to the surface for air. And all of the monsters are giagantic, just so you know. Like, Titan big.

Yet, Kceb had pity on the near-dead figure, giving him the chance for immortality...and revenge.

Captain Audrey was given command of another ship, and the location of his current one, in which he sailed towards at divine speed. Upon reaching it, he ruthlessly captured the ship, sparing little of his crew, only keeping a few for torture or because they served him well in the past and were decently loyal.

Now, he once again sails on the Devil's Deceit (his ship), but a much more enhanced vessel, truly being a much more frightening vessel than before. Not to mention his incredible loyalty to his gods...which keeps him in a high place with Kceb...

When he was 12, he found a wounded dragoness, starving due to her injuries. He hunted for her and looked after her while she healed. Meanwhile, he convinced her to let him take revenge on the boys who had injured her. A year later, he took their revenge on the boys, but the boys' parents complained to the priests of his temple. As a result he was banished from the temple. As he left the temple, however, he stole the magic dagger Ignifer.
Since then they live off what they can hunt.

Primary Abilities- Able to manipulate and control lightning and wind. He can fly for short distances (3-4 miles) before landing.
Secondary abilities- Can tell when someone is lying to him. Very quick and agile. He is an accomplished martial artist.
Mount- Throndor (Large eagle which can unleash sonic screams and who is lightning resistant.)
Background- Blessed by Xirdneh at birth Caput has always been a very gifted person. As a child he mastered the elements of lightning and wind at the age of 7. He is known for being wise at such a young age. He is one of the few non-divine beings who Xirdneh socializes with. He has a quick mind and is respect by all of the elder Imij.
