Ive had two rp post closed for some unknown reson The basterd that closed them wont tell me y but all my rp ideas have been in the same catgory as these ninja threads and clash of the gods threads. do u think that this mod is closing my threads because of the name of my account please let me know??

ooc: I think that you're threads would likely be more appropriate to International Incidents rather than NationStates.

Generally Alt history RPs are found in II rather than NS.

I believe they are more character-driven stories, and based more closely on nationstate countries politics. They're usually also far more detailed and gramatically correct.

Hey, calm down man. No need to get in a hissy. The best thing to do would be to pose you question- politely, with as few gramatical and spelling errors as possible - in the Nuts and Bolts / Moderations forum. Asking us the non mods why is just asking for utter useless guesses.

Take this to where you can get meaningful answers.

Um, said ninja thread etc have some sort of basis within Nationstates, not that "They're more suited for II" at all, and yes, Ninjas can be included in politics, after all, the original ninjas were created out of political need for well trained fighters. Religion is also politcal and Gods are incharge of religion. Its not a case of "WTF GODS NOT POLITICAL" when they clearly are, as such you can roleplay them.
You can role play anything so long as it is actually linked to your nation in some way via an actual backstory.


Its because you're using real life in your threads instead of basing said RP's in some way to do with your nation, you're trying to start off random roleplays that have nothing to do with Nationstates whatsoever.

NS is a roleplay site. YOu can rp in many fassions. You can do a politcal RP with your nation, you can do a Character RP with people of your nation or things like angel and demons.

No. Look, on NationStates the forums, the roleplays concentrate purely on using those posters nations. IE, the football divisions come from different nations and the matches are played in their nations. The RPs with characters are either played in their nations or are in someway based on them.

In International Incidents, *any* roleplays can be done - such as the non-specific Alt History one you wanted to do. NS is for nation-specific roleplaying.

Fine. Look, my point was to try and draw a distinction between the two forums for the confused newbie. If you want to try, then by all means, go ahead.

Actually Tanara, there's been plenty of wars rp'ed on the NS forum. It isn't a matter of what sort of RP exists in either forum, it's become more a preference for who plays where and there happening to be different sorts of RP within those various RP types in each forum, both NS and II. People have gravitated to the styles of play and people who frequent each forum is all.

NS has never been specifically Character RP, nor II specifically War RP, though there have been tendencies towards each respectively. The descriptions given in the main page are the original ones - all the forums have evolved somewhat since then.

The problem with the original poster's question here is he was trying to just replay a game or movie script, or replay rl incidents instead of coming up with something to do with his nation, or any sort of NationStates-related sort of thing. And the Moderators stated that in his threads when they closed it - so he DID get an answer as to why, and is just being pissy about it.
