This player, Los Mexico (Max Foray), well you said that he was an amatuear & he made the harsh Q-School in Los Mexico at Kingston National. I was wondering if you would put Kingston National as a host course for perhaps a major. I will put my courses down over the next few days...

how do you post a course (like what specifics do you want)
San Haven
08-07-2006, 05:54
Just refer to the original post it tells you what you have to do. I will do an example for you;

San Haven National Golf Course, Old Havana
The San Haven National GC, opened in 1986 following a call for a National Golf Course to be located in the outer-suburbs of the Capital Old Havana.
The Course plays as a Par 71 & is subject to high winds most of the year, while the weather can reach very hot. The course plays a difficult 8.7/10 (Difficulty Rating) with some 65 bunkers, tight pins locations & thick tiered rough. The Course's play is excellent most of the year, with fast greens although the wind dries them out fast, so they gain more speed.

There you go, a simple example....

Revena National Golf Course

This course opened up in 1991. It is a par 73 and is very difficult (9.3 our of 10) contains 78 bunkers and 20 water traps. Very rarely any winds, very narrow fairways, that let the ball roll fast. The greens are generally very slow.

The CO Springs School

Jurassic Springs Country Club is located just outside The CO Springs School's capital, Jurassic Springs. The course opened its doors in 1988; since then, it has proven itself to be a championship-quality 18-hole course and, inarguably, The CO Springs School's finest course. The course may be most remembered for the moment that solidified Tyler Boschert's reputation as a short-game genius; during the final round of the 2001 CSS (CO Springs School) Open Championship, Boschert's miraculous birdie chip-in from six-inch greenside rough at the par-4 422-yard 18th forced a playoff against then-amateur Taylor Stamp; Boschert won the 18-hole playoff the next day by two strokes.

Details: The front and back nines each play at par 36, for a total par of 72; at 7,213 yards, it is one of the longest par-72s in the country. The course's most famous aspect is its breathtaking view of the usually snowcapped Kodiak Mountain range in the distance; the mountains surround the course on three sides and can be seen from all 18 holes. The course is also famous for its its complete lack of man-made hazards, and for the fact that no alterations were made to the natural terrain undulations; this results in many shots landing in the center of the fairway and running off into the rough due to the slope of the fairway, and makes one-putts extraordinarily rare due to the extreme breaks on the greens. Pin locations are generally made as tight as possible. The greens, in comparison to most other courses, are postage-stamp sized. Fairways are narrow. The rough is untiered and allowed to grow as thick as possible. Lots--and we do mean LOTS--of rocks, trees, water, and some of the deepest rough many players will ever encounter make bogey saves impressive and par saves miraculous.

General conditions/notes: open April 1-September 30 (bitter cold and snow make play impossible during the colder months); high/low temperatures range from low 50s/mid 30s during early/late season to high 80s/low 60s during height of summer; semi-arid mountain climate means fairways and greens are dry, hard, and very fast; course is VERY windy, especially during the early/late season; course is at an altitude of 7,300-7,700 feet above sea level, thus shots fly up to 15% farther than at sea level, and visiting players have withdrawn from tournaments due to altitude sickness.

Event: Jurassic Springs annually plays host to the BigBoxMart Invitational during the first week of June. In addition, it was the site of the CSS Open Championship, the most prestigious tournament of The CO Springs School's professional tour, in 1991, 1996, and 2001, and the tournament will return to the course in late July, 2006. Course officials hope to bring either the BigBoxMart or the CSS Open (both?) to the NSPGA Tour Schedule this season.

Overall difficulty: 9.8 out of 10. Not at all for the duffer or the faint-of-heart.

The NSPGA Head of Tour (Myself) has accepted the course & will accept both events. You must select a Money Purse between $5,000,000 & $6,750,000. We are wondering if you wish to make one of these events a major, only one & the other will be an official event. If you decide to make it a major the purse receieves an additional $2,500,000.
Thanks

OCC: Heres mine.... I will help make up the numbers.

1. Pacifica National GC, Windham Point - Los Mexico - Sherwood Masters, Purse $6,500,000. Course Difficulty 7.8/10

Rather Simple Course... Only 28 Bunkers, 14 Water hazards...

2. Cortez CC, Hawke - Los Mexico - Spaniard Open, Purse $6,100,000, Course Difficulty 8.1/10

Avoid the knee-high rough, hit every fairway & green & you will walks away with the Spaniard Open...

3. Oakmount West Course, Oakmount - Los Mexico - The International, Purse $6,250,000, Course Difficulty 8.5/10

A killer course. Oakmount is world-famous for very tight fairways, although you wont be punished too much if your in the tiered rough...

4. De'Paulo Resort, Kingston - Los Mexico, Los Mexican Open, Purse $6,700,000, Course Difficulty 7.9/10

De'Paulo is located outside the capital in the desert. Green Fairways, Tees & Greens, sandy coloured rough. Its known as Bunker World with 101 bunkers, but rather average course.

5. Major Event - Caribbean Players Championship, TPC Sunny Springs, Sunny Springs - Los Mexico, Purse $8,900,000. Course Difficulty 9.2/10

TPC Sunny Springs has finally made an entrance into the NSPGA Tour due to its absense in the NSPGA 1. This course plays great & looks even better, think TPC Sawgrass. That will be my guide for the holes & lengths...

OCC: The host of the NSPGA Season has rights to have at least half of the tour on its home soil, but i wont be that greedy, i will post a few... San Haven will put down a large number so i am told.....

Blue Haven GC, Blue Haven - Toraquay - The Inviational, Purse $5,350,000

Royal Thousand Oaks CC, Pinevalley - Torauay - Thousand Oaks Classic - Purse $6,800,000

TPC Canyons East, Summerville - Toraquay - Whitsundays Cup
Purse $7,200,000

Major Events:
Spanish Point Golf Course, Spanish Point - Toraquay - NSPGA Championship, Purse - $11,150,000

Each course is unique in its own way, something that most courses dont have, no offense to other NSPGA II nations. Blue Haven is much like Doral, Royal thousand Oaks is much like Augusta National, TPC Canyons is much like Bighorn Canyons course & Spanish Point is much like Pebble Beach.
