Adarui walked through the forest towards Kumogakure. He hoped to gain a meeting with the Kumogakure Jonin, Barak Kendalis and ask him for a job. Adarui had heard about Kumogakure's legendary reputation and knew that if he wanted work, Kumogakure would be the place to get it. Finally, entering Kumogakure he asked a little girl "Excuse me, do you know where I can find Barak Kendalis?"

At first she was startled by Adarui's appearance(especially his piercings) but finally said "His headquarters is right there, down the street."

"Thank you very much." He handed the girl 100 yen and said "Here, go buy yourself a gumball."

"Thank you very much Mister," she said happily and skipped into a nearby shop.

Adarui walked down the street to a big building and hoped that Barak Kendalis had a job to offer.

A silent figure watched the whole scene carefully as he remained crouched on a rooftop overlooking the street. The sunlight gleamed off his porcelain mask as two gray orbs stared out from within. Silently following the man, the figure paused as two other figures, similarly garbed with exception for their face masks, appeared beside him.

"Nowaki-san, we've returned with a message from the gate guards. The man's name is Adurai. Despite being cleared for entrance into the city, he has been designated as a possible danger to the village. As such, a request for an elite anbu team to escort him has been put out," said one of the figures, her raven mask gleaming slightly in the sunlight.

"I see, Kouen-san. We'll take it up then. While you two were gone, I overheard him speaking to a girl. He is seeking Jounin Barak Kendalis. We'll escort him there directly, but just to make sure, let's ask him what he wants first. Understood?" answered Hisoka.

"Hai," replied the other two anbu members.

Vanishing in puff of smoke, they reappeared around Adarui. The nearby villagers stepped back. While the anbu corps were very much respected and feared, anbu members rarely revealed themselves for no reason at all. Stepping forward toward him, Hisoka decided to speak first.

"Excuse me, sir. We've been asked to detain you for a moment in order to ascertain and confirm your purpose in the village. We've been informed that you are currently seeking a jounin by the name of Barak Kendalis. Is that correct?"

"Yes, it is. I was just on my way to his headquarters. Is there a problem?" Adarui asked confused. Why would he suddenly be surrounded by an ANBU team? He had appeared peaceful enough at the entrance. Was this a misunderstanding, or was there some hidden enemy in Kumogakure that he didn't know about? Well, if I do have an enemy, they picked the wrong ninja to fuck with. "Is there a problem?" he repeated.

The other two anbu tensed at his words. Regardless of his intentions here, the others sensed obvious agression behind those words. Hands poised to iniate several rather deadly jutsu, they halted when Hisoka gestured for them to stop.

"Now, now there is no need for violence. Raven, Wolf stand down. Mr. Adurai, as you know, Kumogakure is a ninja village and as such takes the security of its citizens with very seriously. We obviously can't allow any ninja to go waltzing through our streets as they could possibly pose quite the threat. As for you question, there is no problem unless you decide to make one in which case, I suggest you start running. Otherwise, I merely wish to say "welcome to Kumogakure" and inform you that my team has been requested to escort you directly to Kendalis-san. I hope that I have explained my purpose here sufficiently," replied Hisoka.

Without another word, he gestured for Raven and Wolf to leave them. Exchanging glances with one another, they bowed and vanished in a puff of smoke. Sparing a glance at the building, Hisoka gestured for Adurai to follow before he leapt onto the rooftop of the nearest building.

Waiting for the other to follow him, he called out, "It'll be faster going throught the rooftops since there's obviously less traffic up here than down there."

Adarui easily climbed up the building, for climbing came naturally to him and was one of his many skills. They seemed friendly enough. But why would they send an ANBU team just to escort me? Wouldn't two regular Genin have been enough?And the captain, Hisoka Nowaki himself. And the way those other ANBU were positioned? As if they were preparing to attack me. Adarui turned around to look at the forest a few meters away and spotted a tiger. Excellent. To the tiger, Adarui softly whistled What's your name? Lideniyo, the tiger replied. Would you like to come for a short walk? Adarui asked. Sure, why not the tiger purred. The human seemed friendly enough, and could speak Lideniyo's tongue. Lideniyo pounced into the village road and leaped up onto the rooftop with a roar. "This is my friend, Lideniyo," Adarui told Hisoka. "Would you mind that he join us?"

As Adarui speak to the tiger, Hisoka watched with interest at the scene. When the tiger suddenly leapt into the street and onto the rooftop, letting out a load roar, he had been ready to take action, but Adarui's request kept him from starting. Pausing for a second to consider the request, Hisoka mulled over his options before replying, "I suppose that will be acceptable on the condition that you keep the tiger from attacking the villagers. Let's go now, I've sent Raven and Wolf ahead to wait for us at the administration building."

As the they traveled swiftly from roof to roof, Hisoka couldn't help but wonder why Adarui had come to Kumogakure. Figuring that asking wouldn't hurt, he inquired, "Adarui, what brings you to my beloved little village anyway. Is there something you seek here?"

"I was wondering if Barak Kendalis could give me a job. You know, an assignment. I've heard of Kumogakure's great reputation, and if you needed an outside ninja for a task I would be more than happy to fulfill it...for the right price." To Lideniyo he whistled Do not hurt anyone. Relax, Lideniyo replied. I only attack someone if they attack of threaten me first. Did you sense Hisoka's fear when you came on the roof? Adarui asked. For some reason he's especially afraid of me. He sent a squad of ANBU to escort me, something two regular Genin should be doing. And he's also sent that squad to meet me once we reach our destination. Interesting, Lideniyo replied. I think he's more scared than he would like to admit. By the way, my name's Adarui Adarui told him.

A man sat in a cave. This man was a powerful ninja, known to many as the modern day super ninja. He was meditating. He followed his own path, but would do jobs for pay, or just if it interested him. He had many weapons, but his preferred ones were his sword and his windmill shuriken, which was very large and returned to him like a boomerang.

Barak sat in his room quietly. He had been focusing his chakra for hours now. The Raikage had assigned his three former apprentices, Gordunt, Lialai, and Shaoel on a mission to travel to the Rice Lands. Barak was a little worried about them but he still knew they would be fine.

Barak stood up and walked towards the door. He looked down the street to see a ninja being escorted by two ANBU ninjas. Barak thought to himself, What is the purpose in doing that? He then saw the man's face.

Oh... that is why they are escorting him. That is the ninja they call Adarui. I remember him from my bingo book some years back. He is an interesting ninja. I wonder what he wants here in Kumogakure. He had just come home from a very important mission involving their allies the Sand and Leaf villages. Things had went in their favor and they won. Barak looked back towards the people walking. He then thought to himself, I wonder where they are going?

Listening to his answer, Hisoka replied, "Really? Then you are right in wanting to meet Kendalis-san, though in the end, Raikage-sama will be the one to approve or reject this."

Dashing from roof to roof, Hisoka had a few moments to think as they were traveling.

That man....Adarui...was a most interesting person indeed, especially his ability to converse with the tiger. It was true that there shinobi capable of communicating with animals, but often both animal and ninja were raised side by side. While fear was something rare for most anbu members, Hisoka, they still maintained some sense of it as those who had no fear didn't live very long.

Adarui...what a strange man.

Hisoka let himself delve into his memories. Adarui was a name found in the bingo book issued to every jounin and anbu. While Hisoka did not truly fear Adarui, he did however have respect for his skills and abilities. Should Adarui have proven uncooperative earlier, Hisoka would not have hesitated in engaging him. As strong as Adarui was, Hisoka was just as capable and he had a few tricks of his own as well. After all, he hadn't been made anbu captain for nothing. The tiger, however, had been quite a surprise for him. Still, a tiger is a tiger and anbu are trained to handle subjects far more dangerous then them.

As they made their way to the tower, Hisoka spotted the two anbu whom he had deployed ahead of them. Upon reaching the tower, he dismissed them with a gesture. Bowing, both vanished in a blink of an eye. Calmly leading Adarui and the tiger up the staircase, Hisoka knocked on the door before entering, gesturing for Adarui to enter as well.

"Kendalis-san, Adarui-san here requested audience with you. My team and I were requested to escort him here by the gate guards."

Before he could continue further, Raven appeared by his side and whispered something into his ear.

"I see.... Pardon me, Kendalis-san, Adarui-san, but apparently there is a situation in the village that requires my team's attention. Apparently there are people stirring up some sort of riot," said Hisoka.

Turning to Adarui, he continued, "Adarui-san, I apologize for any inconviences that my team and I may have caused you earlier, but I hope you understand our reason for doing so. Once again, I bid you welcome to Kumogakure and if you should need help with anything, please feel free to ask for me. I would be glad to assist in any way possible."

Bowing slightly to both of them, Hisoka vanished in a swirl of wind. Following her captain's lead, Raven left as well.

Barak looked at Adarui and said, "What is it that you seek?" Barak knew of his animal taming powers. Barak had tamed a couple of animals in his day, too?"

A riot? Adarui thought. Was that the reason for Hisoka's fear? Did he think Adarui was the instigator? "I was merely wondering, Kendalis-san, if you had a freelance assignment to give me. I"ve heard of Kumogakure's reputation and just wanted to ask if you had an assignment you wouldn't give one of your own ninja? Perhaps too dangerous for the average Genin to handle? If there is no such task, perhaps you would know of someone who would like to buy some of my paintings?"

Barak looked at him and said, "Well it is not up to me to decide who goes on missions. You will have to talk to Lord Raikage. I have just come back from a mission. I am sure you could find some work there." At the mention of paintings Barak smiled and said, "What kind of work do you do?"

"Pretty much I'm a freelance ninja-if anyone needs my skills I provide them-fir the right price. But when I can't find a ninja assignment I support myself by selling my paintings at art fairs and such. Anyway, could you tell me where I could find this Lord Raikage?" Adarui asked. To Lideniyo, he whistled Do you have a mate? Cubs? No, Lideniyo replied. Why? I was wondering, Adarui told him if you would like to come on a mission with me. I'll think about it Lideniyo told him. Most probably yes.

"I am sure there are some missions that Raikage can send you on. I think I will accompany you to his office." Barak walked upstairs and reached into his chest and pulled out a long blade with yellow stones in the bottom. He sheathed it and said, "Bishamon you have never failed me before." He walked down the stairs and said, "Come on."

Meeting up with Wolf, both Raven and Hisoka quickly made their way toward the troubled area.

"Wolf, inform me of the situation," ordered Hisoka as they swiftly yet silently darted across the roofs.

"Hai. According to the reports flowing in, a large group of peasants , presumably merchants of some sort, entered the village a few days ago. They showed no potential of causing any trouble for the first few days, but, apparently, that isn't the case now. Reports indicate that ,for now reason at all, they suddenly began attacking nearby villagers and shinobi. Strangely enough, the guards ,who responded immediately to the trouble, report that upon reaching the site they discovered some of the rioters using a variety of jutsu from low to medium. Simply put, there appears to be a moderate group of missing-nin, ranking from genin to jounin, who are attacking the village. Our mission along with Team 3 and 5's are to stop this threat immediately. The current casualties are: 32 villagers dead, 57 villagers injured, and 2 genin severly injured along with several of the gate guards," stated Wolf.

"I see...but what would they possibly be after?" Hisoka pondered aloud.

"Well," said Raven, "They might be after money, but that would have been easier to get outside the village."

Wolf chortled slightly before answering, "That's right. Who'd try and rob a ninja village in the first place? It's a rumor that has been circulating in the ANBU headquarters, but there has been rumors of a band of rogue ninja attempting to accumulate enough strength and attempt a coup d'etat."

"Really," Hisoka said, "Why hasn't this been looked into?"

"It has been," answered Wolf, "But it wasn't considered a high enough priority to be brought to the attention of the ANBU corps."

Cursing softly, Hisoka strained his vision to see how far they had to go. Seeing that it was within their translocation jutsu's range, he signaled for the others to teleport. Nodding, Raven and Wolf vanished with Hisoka following soon after.

Reappearing on the rooftops near the affected area, Hisoka noted that teams 3 and 5 had just arrived as well. Taking note of the carnage below, Hisoka frowned at the number of dead villagers below. The guards were holding their own against the genin and chuunin...but some of the jounin seemed to be far more deadly than they should. He counted at least 29 shinobi down there.

"Those jounin overthere are at least A or B rank, possibly even S," muttered Wolf.

"Yes," agreed Hisoka, "Raven, I want you to report directly to Raikage-sama. I and the other teams will engage immediately. We should succede, but in the event of failure, Raikage-sama must be aware of the situation. Understood?"

"Hai, Kitten," she answered, referring to his code name of "Kitten".

Watching her vanish in a blur of speed, Hisoka signaled to the other teams the plan of attack. They were quite simple really. Defend the villagers and kill as need, but try and keep some alive for future interrogation. Briefly nodding, the other teams soon leapt into the fray. Signaling to Wolf that they were going too, Hisoka leapt in after them, his hands already flipping through a number of complex seals.

Making to follow Barak, Adarui asked "So, what exactly is your village concerned with right now? Does this Lord Raikage haven any special requests? Maybe I can help put down your riot problem. Actually, I'm very interested in meeting your Daimyo. He seems like a very interesting person."

Who exactly is this Lord Raikage? Adarui thought. I haven't heard of him before. Oh, that's right. I remember reading about him in the factbook. Lord Raikage is the Kumogakure Daimyo. Probably the Jonin needs the Daimyo's approval before giving a mission to an outsider.

As John sat on the hill above an unknown town to him he began to notice that there was something happening in town. After sending his report to his "friends" back in the states he began to wonder why he was in japan at all. He started missing working for britains spec-ops and was wondering what mission his ex-team mates were on now. As he layed his head down on the ground to take a nap while waiting for his orders on what to do next he dreamed about his last mission with his old team and wat had gone wrong to get 4 of them killed...

It all started when he opened up the first shot into the city. Hitting his target he turned around and told bravo team which consisted of Frank(wepons speacalist), Mary(Medic), Dorna(Demolitons expert), and Tom(bravo commander) Telling them their orders he turned around and ordered Greg to take up a sniper position above him. But when greg started to speek all he heard was beeping

Waking up from his sleep he realized that he had been asleep for almost an hour and that the town was still jumpy. he opened his laptop and answered the message he was supposed to take out a high ranking japanese offical with out leading anytraces of american interference.

Nimbly dodging several thrown shuriken and kunai, Hisoka landed safely on the ground. Completing the last set of hand seals, he whispered, "Fuuton: Kyoufuu."

Following this, he tooking in a deep breath before exhaling, blowing out a stream of violently twisting air. While most of the jounin and chuunin dodged it, two unlucky genin were caught by it and had their arms or legs literally torn off. Not halting to observe his handiwork, Hisoka quickly drew his kodachi and dashed into the conflict.

Raven meanwhile had just arrived outside the administration tower. Not bothering to translocate herself, she simply darted up the stairs. Seeing Barak and Adarui, she called out to them, "Hope you don't mind if I go to see the Raikage first. Apparently, the "riot" seems to have involved quite a few shinobi, including jounin and chuunin. Nowaki-san and the others seem to believe that there might be several A class or even S class missing nins there."

Not waiting for their response, she quickly darted toward the Raikage's office. Outside of the doors stood two anbu who were assigned guard duty for that day. Noting Raven's haste, the two didn't stop her, but rather let her in without a word. Something must be wrong for her to be in such a rush.

Once she had entered into his office, Raven quickly kneeled and spoke, her tone urgent but respectful.

"Raikage-sama. There's trouble in the village. The riot that was reported has proved much more than that. Nowaki-san sent here to report to you first and to await you orders."

Pausing for a moment, she continued to inform him about the situation. Outside the office, the two anbu had just closed the set of double doors when they notice Barak arriving with Adarui. Both greeted him warmly and one asked why they had come.

"Kendalis-san. What brings you here today?"

While walking up the stairs with Barak, Adarui was rushed past by one of the ANBU that had surrounded him earlier. Hurriedly she said that she needed to see Lord Raikage first and that there were ninja involved in the riot. Ninja? Adarui thought. Were they from a rival organization or where they Nukenin attacking for revenge? If they asked for his help in putting down the riot, it might be harded than he thought. To Lideniyo he whistled So, if they ask us to help put down the riot, do you want to help me? Sure, Lideniyo replied. As long as I get to rip some throats out. Only the ninja and only if they attack you first Adarui told him. Of course Lideniyo said. I wouldn't attack anyone unless they attacked or threatened me first. I already told you that. At the top of the stairs Adarui saw two more ANBU members guarding the Daimyo's chambets. One of them said "Kendalis-san. What brings you here today?"

She stood in front of the temple doors. With one hand on a straw broom and the other on her perspiring forhead to shield her eyes against the heat of the sun. She saw the figures walking their way into town.

What could these men be traveling here for. We do not have many visitors. I will have to investigate.

A shrill voice brought through her thoughts, "Elizabetha, come please and water the plants. We need to start our prayers soon."

She sighed and looked back into the sun's glare, but did not see them again.

It does not matter for I am sure they will visit the temple. Whether for prayer or because we are well known for visitors.

She closed the white oak doors and placed the old broom in the closet and picked up the metal watering pitcher. She hurried along the many corridors in the large temple, before she needed to start the evening prayers.

Barak heard the noise of riots outside the gates. Barak looked at Adarui and said, "You can handle yourself, right? We are about to go defend the gates."
The former ANBU captain looked down the road and said, "Use the Shunshin no Jutsu technique. It will get us to the gate faster." Barak made a handsign and yelled, "Shunshin no Justu!" Barak ran quicker than the speed of sound towards the gate. When he arrived he saw the Jounin fighting the ANBU. He did a hand sign and said, "Raiton no Justu." A lightning came from the sky and struck two of the opposing chuunin and one jounin. He yelled to Hisoka, "What happened? The village was calm a minute ago." He threw another thunderbolt at the opposition.

Wow Adarui whistled to Lideniyo. Did you see how fast he moved?
Amazing, isn't it? Lideniyo replied. Well, we might as well help them. Good idea Adarui said. Maybe it'll impress the Daimyo. Adarui and Lideniyo charged down the stairs and out the gate, where the battle was ensuing. The enemy ninja didn't wear any insignia of affiliation. Just as I thought Adarui whistled. They're either mercenaries or Nukenin. Lideniyo charged into the foray, whereas Adarui saw an enemy ninja hiding into a side alley. Adarui quickly climbed up onto a roof and threw a net on the running ninja. He jumped down and kicked the ninja until he was unconcious. Adarui then removed the net and mimicked the ninja's appearance. Then he rushed out into the main street and followed another enemy ninja. The enemy ninja went to an other ninja and said "Jonin Jerekia. The legendary Barak Kendalis has joined the fight." Aha, Adarui thought. So this guy is the Jonin, the leader of this group of misfits. Adarui climbed up onto the roof of another building and followed Jerekia. When Jerekia appeared alone, not surrounded by any of his men, Adarui jumped on top of Jerekia and threw a net down on top of him. Helpless and facedown on the ground, Jerekia whimpered. "Barak!" Adarui called. "I think I caught the leader!"

Hisoka had just dispatched another jounin when he noticed one of his fellow anbu members taken down by several well placed explosive notes. Cursing under his breath, he quickly cut down with expert ease two chuunin who had tried to gang up on him. Quickly teleporting himself to where the injured anbu lay, Hisoka fed the member a blood pill and soldier pill. After a few seconds, the anbu was up and about again, for the moment at least. Sighing softly, Hisoka nimbly dodge a barrage of kunai. Returning the favor with several senbon, he was relieved when Barak arrived with Adarui in tow.

Hearing Barak's question, Hisoka called out in answer, "Not sure. I'll be sure to get a full report later from the guard."

Sending a spike of wind into jounin trying to sneak up on him, he continued, "I have a few theories of my own, but I'll save them for later."

Turning to at Adarui's call, Hisoka cursed when a katana sliced into his side. While the blow hurt, it hadn't cut through the armor. Sending a skull shattering punch in return, he called out to Barak, "Kendalis-san. If you can buy me a few seconds, I'll use one of my stronger jutsu to end it now."

Leaping behind several anbu, Hisoka began forming a long string of complex seals, muttering underneath his breath to keep track of which seal he was on. Hopefully, he would be able to get off his Fuuton: Fuuryuudan no Jutsu. While similar in class with the other elemental dragon blast jutsu, this one was rather difficult and drained quite a bit of chakra and as a result was known to and used by very very few. For unlike earth or water, bending the air to shape this jutsu required the utmost concentration and skill.

".....Ox, Ram, Serpent, Boar, Ram, Rat, Ninth, Monkey, Bird, Dragon, Bird, Ox, Horse, Ram, Tiger, Serpent, Rat, Monkey, Hare, Boar, Dragon, Ram, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Bird, Ninth, Rat, Ram," Hisoka whispered, "Dragon. Fuuton: Fuuryuudan no Jutsu (Wind Release: Wind Dragon Blast Technique)."

Holding the last dragon seal, Hisoka cracked a grin beneath his mask as the air around him began to twist and turn. Despite his relief that the seals were completed, Hisoka realized he was still very vulnerable. Still maintaining the final seal, Hisoka frowned slightly at the strain on his body and the sweat running down his face.

The very air seemed to be alive as the shape of a massive serpant dragon began to form, silver eyes gleaming from its barely visible and still forming body. Seemingly glaring at the missing nin, the dragon let out a loud roar that echoed loudly off the buildings.

'A few more seconds and it'll be over,' thought Hisoka, 'Hopefully no one intereferes until the dragon is fully formed.'

Calling out to his allies, Hisoka shouted, "Guys, you might want to get out of the way!"

Barak blasted a group of his allies out of the way before they were hit with the air dragon. Barak thought to himself, So he has mastered the Air Dragon. Very nice technique. Barak heard Adarui's cry about the jounin leader. He quickly ran over there and looked at the man. He smiling with his foot on a net that had three logs in it. Barak looked at Adarui and said, "He used the replacement jutsu on you!" Barak quickly turned around and said, "Where can he be?" The two ninja heard a voice say, "Right above you." Jerekia lept down from a tree with a kunai knife in his hand headed straight for Barak's head. Barak turned around and called upon his chakra flow. He quickly balanced them and yelled, "RAIKUU!" A ball of lightning energy became compressed in his hands and as Jerekia was within arm's reach Barak shoved the lightning ball into his chest. It sent Jerekia flying. Barak walked over and stood over the lifeless body.

"Thanks," Adarui told Barak. "Sorry I didn't see him use the Replacement Jutsu. I was looking for you and thought a foot would be enough. So do you have any ideas on who these ninja are? I didn't see any insignias of affiliation. Are they mercenaries or Nukenin?"

Barak looked around and said, "I have no idea." He looked at the wind dragon and said, "I am going to wait for Hisoka's report."

Setting up his sniper rifle he started to notice that the town was getting crazier and crazier. we saw people get punched with the knock back shotgun. he even notice one man change into another man. thinking that he must be seeing things he went back to his mission to assasinate Lord Raikage Looking through his scope he found his victim and the person hes gunna make look like killed him. but just as he was about to pull the triger the man turned around and ran out into the street to fight with the others. after the fight was over he notcied that he was talking to another man. he decided to wait for while and see what happens.

"Maybe once the other enemy ninja see that Jerekia is dead, they'll be frightened into retreat." Adarui mimicked the appearance of the enemy ninja he had done before and effortlessly climbed onto the roof of a nearby building holding Jerekia's body. He leapt from rooftop to rooftop until he reached the place where the enemy ninja survivors had regrouped. He thrust Jerekia's body down and then crouched hidden from view. "They've killed Jonin Jerekia!" one of the Chunin screamed. "Go warn the others! We need to go back to headquarters! We've suffered too many losses!" In a panicked frenzy the enemy ninja began to retreat until finally they ran into the forest surrounding Kumogakure. Adarui took on his normal appearance and went back to Barak. "Looks like the fighting's over."

Setting up his sniper rifle he started to notice that the town was getting crazier and crazier. we saw people get punched with the knock back shotgun. he even notice one man change into another man. thinking that he must be seeing things he went back to his mission to assasinate Lord Raikage Looking through his scope he found his victim and the person hes gunna make look like killed him. but just as he was about to pull the triger the man turned around and ran out into the street to fight with the others. after the fight was over he notcied that he was talking to another man. he decided to wait for while and see what happens.

As he watched the fool fledged rout out of the city he noticed where all the people where going but he decided not to take up chase since he had his orders and was meant to kill this Lord Raikage.

Barak looked at Adarui and said, "Come on. Let's go see the Raikage."

IC: Adarui followed Barak and said "Do you think Raikage will still be in his office or will he have come out to join the fighting?"

OOC- Sorry for not posting. Been at work. United O-Zone, can you give me something to do?

OOC: Your character could go to Kumogakure, where everyone else except Theodrea aka Elizabetha is currently at.

Suddenly, a scroll fell into the cave through a hole in the ceiling. Kiyoshi picked it up and read it. It was a job proposition. Supposedly there was an assaination attempt on a man known as Lord Raikage. Kiyoshi was hired to protect him from the assain. Kiyoshi looked at the weapons he had. He brought his favorties, the windmill shuriken, and his sword. Then he made the trip to Kumogakure. When he arrived there he looked around. People were running around. He saw the barrel of a rifle hidden away. That might be the assain, but he wasn't sure. He waited to see.

Upon seeing the massive wind dragon forming, several chuunin converged on his position in a desperate move to disrupt his spell. That is to say, they tried to disrupt his spell, but where intercepted by several well thrown shuriken. Shouting a word of thanks to the anbu who had thrown them, Hisoka channeled a burst of chakra into the dragon seal before whispering, "Release."

With that, the wind dragon let out a loud roar, causing the missing nin to halt and stare in horror. The smarter ones tried to escape while the others stood frozen with shock. Despite this though, none were able to get away in time as the dragon slammed its body of twisting wind into the ground. While Hisoka personally would have had the winds rip them apart, he knew that they would need as many alive as possible for later interrogation. As such, the winds rather than killing them, instead sucked their breath for them and kept them from breathing. Within a few seconds, the lack of oxygen rendered them unconcious, though those who had been hit when the dragon slammed itself into th ground were dead.

Breathing heavily, Hisoka smiled behind his mask. This "riot" had finally been quelled. Leaning onto the shoulder of Raven, he spoke softly to Wolf.

"I will be in my office writing up the report for Kendalis-san. If I'm needed, tell them where to find me."

Nodding, Wolf replied, "Hai, Nowaki-san."

Giving a word of thanks, Hisoka and Raven disappeared in a swirl of wind. Meanwhile, the other anbu were treating their and other's wounds. Soon after, medics came and took those seriously injured to the hospital for treatment.

OOC: You guys do realize that the Raikage is the most powerful ninja in the village right?

IC: The Raikage was sitting in front of an orb looking at the village. Good Barak and the others were able to stop the altercation. He already knew of the assassination attempt on his life but he wondered why he was a target. Barak and Adarui walked in. Barak then said, "Greetings Lord Raikage."

Adarui stopped for a moment to take in Raikage's appearance. He had red almond-shaped eyes and curly scarlet hair worn in a style that resembled a bird's wing. So this is the Daimyo he thought. Suddenly the door flew open and Lideniyo pounced into the room. At first Raikage was startled but in a reassuring tone Adarui said "It's all right Lord Raikage. He won't hurt anyone. That is, if you don't antagonize him." To Lideniyo he whistled Did you have fun? There were plenty of enemy throats to rip out Lideniyo replied with a grin. "Lord Raikage," Adarui said "I am a freelance ninja. I have heard of Kumogakure's legendary reputation and if you have an assignment you would not give to one of your own ninja, I will take it...for the right price."

What will Raikage say? Adarui thought. Will he give me a job? Or did I come all the way here for nothing?

Just as Raikage was about to speak john pulled the trigger and put a bullet through his neck....or so he thought

What the! Adarui thought. "Someone shot Lord Raikage!" he screamed. :sniper: But Adarui was proven wrong.

"Futon: Daitoppa!" The Raikage roared as he head the gunshot. He had been waiting for that. A strong gale countered the bullet and knocked it away from him. The Raikage looked up towards the assassin and pointed. "Barak you and Adarui go now. Find that assassin!" Barak nodded and quickly left the room towards the assassin.

As soon as the shot rang off, Kiyoshi lept into action. He ran foward and lept into the assassain's hiding spot. He delivered a fierce kick to his enemies face. He landed, drew his sword, and held it out in front of his foe. "I am Kiyoshi, your death."

Adarui looked out the window where he saw two men fighting. One of them had a sniper rifle in his hand, so he had to be the assassin. Hopefully the other one, with the brown hair was a friend. Adarui effortlessly climbed down the administration building and up onto the rooftop where the assassin was. After the brown-haired man held a sword to the assassin's face, Adarui threw a net over the assassin and said "Who are you? And who hired you?"

Hisoka and Raven had just finished writing the report when a young chuunin burst into the room clutching a small sheet of paper in his hand.

"Nowaki-sama!" shouted the teen, his breath slightly ragged from running up all the flight of steps to Hisoka's office.

"What is it, Higiri-kun?" replied Hisoka, quirking an eyebrow at his urgent tone.

After handing over the paper to Hisoka, Higiri waited patiently as Hisoka quickly skimmed its contents.

"I see..." muttered Hisoka, "This will dealt with immediately."

Turning to Higiri, he ordered, "Higiri-kun, I want you to alert teams 2, 7, 8, and 9. They are to meet me here in five minutes. Understood?"

"Hai!" answered Higiri before dashing out of the room.

"Is it serious?" inquired Raven.

"Yes, Yume-chan," replied Hisoka, using Raven's civilian name, "Raikage-sama has just informed me of an assassination plot against him. We have his location and are to capture him alive or kill him if neccessary."

Glancing at the paper again, he mused, "Interesting...Seems that are assassin is equipped with guns. I guess it's time to bring out those new armor R&D came out with.

While the assassin was watching the Raikage's movements through his scope, he never noticed five squads of ANBU members surrounding him, having enshrouded themselves in high level genjutsu. They were ready to jump him and take him down, but remained still after Hisoka instructed them to attack only on his signal. They didn't have long to wait. The sniper shot was followed by the Raikage's Futon: Daitoppa. Glancing at Hisoka, they smirked as they saw him signal for them to go.

Yet, they had barely stirred when a ninja slammed into the sniper and held him at sword point. Soon after, Adarui made his appearance and ensnared the sniper with his net.

Signaling for three teams to go and protect the Raikage, Hisoka dispelled his illusions and stepped forward along with Wolf and Raven. The other team remained hidden just in case something else were to happen. Facing the two ninjas and the downed sniper, he called out to them, his voice calm and smooth.

"You may wish to remove your sword from his neck, Kiyoshi-san. After all, Raikage-sama wishes for him to be captured preferably alive. Dead people are so hard to interrogate."

"You know this guy. Hisoka?" Adarui asked motioning to the brown-haired man. To the assassin he said "I'm going to ask this only once more. Who hired you?"

"Mmmm...something like that," replied Hisoka, "Now, now, Adarui-san. There is no need for such haste. Personally, I would be wary of any answer he might give right away as it most likely would be a lie of some sort. No worries though, we'll get the answers out in due course of time."

Gesturing toward John, he called out, "Team 2, retrieve the sniper and bring him to the ANBU detention facility. Place him in a code S isolation cell. Keep him there until Raikage-sama is ready to speak with him."

Appearing out of the thin air around John, the elite shinobi took hold of him and bowed saluted Hisoka and Kiyoshi before vanishing in a puff of ninja smoke with John in tow.

Focusing again on Adarui, Hisoka continued, "ANBU Intelligence managed to discover a plot to assassinate our Raikage. While Raikage-sama is the best shinobi in all the village and we, the anbu, are constantly on guard, it was decided that a backup plan was in order as well. As a result, a proposition was sent out in search of ninja able to protect Raikage-sama until the assassin was caught. Kiyoshi-san here accepted and performed wonderfully."

Turning his attention to Kiyoshi, Hisoka bowed respectly before speaking, "Thank you, Kiyoshi-san for your assistance in this matter. The payment will be handed over tomorrow at administration tower. We may possibly have other missions available by that time as well. Until then though, I hope you enjoy your stay in Kumogakure."

Bowing politely to both Kiyoshi and Adarui once more, Hisoka and his two teammates vanished in puff of smoke.

While Hisoka was speaking with the two, teams 2, 7, and 8 had teleported themselves into the Raikage's office. Kneeling before him, one of them spoke up, "Raikage-sama, the assailant has been detained and transported to the detention facility until you are ready to question him. What are your orders, sir?"

Adarui turned to Kiyoshi and introduced himself. "My name is Adarui. I'm freelance like you. I came here looking for work but it looks like trouble found me. Seems to follow me wherever I go."

Waking up from his daze in his detion cell john looked about him and noticed the 3rd world building. thinking it might be the building against the south wall he begun to look for his stuff. notcing that his back pack and most of his weapons were leaning aganst the wall on the other side john decided to sit there and think. thinking about his gumm he reaches into his pocket and pulls it out. he also felt that they didnt check him for all his wepons his pistol and one grenade were still there. but it was nt much use to him with out ammo and a flashbang is pretty useless in this situation to. deciding to sit there and wait he trys to come up with a plan that might help him escape. mabye mabye he thought it was worth a try though. he calls the gaurd over and easily kills him by shoving the flash grenade in his mouth. saying his mourning to the now dead gaurd he reaches in his gum packet pulls out a strip of plastic explosive and pust it around the hinges in his cell. using the high octane gass from his desert eagle he blows the plastic expolive and make a quick dash for his stuff and then back to his cell.
he grabs another gass cylander out of his back pack and puts it in his desert eagle. he then takes his rifle apart and puts it away in his backpack. thinking of a way to get out of here john puts a small amount of c4 on the wall to put a hole in it the size of his fist. after that he plants some on the outside of the wall and makes a trail leading to his pistol. wait ing he sets the gaurd up agains the wall so it looks like hes asleep. rembering to tell his "friends" to send in an evac he waits to spring his trap.

OOC: Just some brief info on who the ANBU from Naruto are, for those that don't know. They are essentially a black ops group, a force of extremely talented shinobi who perform assassinations, protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy countries, and deal with extremely strong (S-Rank) ninja. The ANBU is an organization that serves under the direct command of their Kage.

IC:

The ANBU Detention facility was quite an interesting structure indeed. Rather than a large walled in building, the facility was actually 80% sunken into the ground. At the lowest levels of the facility were the cells designed to contain S-rank criminals, who were the most dangerous, and higher up were those designed to hold D-rank criminals, those who were considered a minimal threat. Upper levels served as torture and interrogation rooms and offices for the facilities operators.

While John had been retrieving his equipment, ANBU members watched safely from the facilities command center all that happened. They were shocked at the audicity of this man. Just who did this man think they were? Did he really think that he could escape from a facility designed to imprison high-ranking S class criminals, who were capable of unleashing a variety of devasting jutsu? Some criminals able to wipe out a small army by themselves. The guard killed was merely a tsuchi bunshin (earth clone) and whose form was currently being maintained by its creator. While they were strong, it would take much more than a few plastic explosives to escape from this place. One of the ANBU members set off the silent alarm for the facility, alerting all ANBU members in and around Kumogakure. Within two minutes, all of Kumogakure's ANBU teams would have arrived and surrounded the entire facility. There was only one way out of the structure, and that was through the front doors.

Hisoka grimaced as he made his way toward the detention facility, darting swiftly from roof to roof. He had been taking a nap when the alarm had gone off, waking him out of his comfy sleep. From what he had gathered from the message sent out with the silent alarm, the sniper, whom his teams had captured earlier, had just killed a new chuunin, who was guarding his cell at the time.

A minute later, he landed softly outside the detention facility. All around the sunken structure were large numbers of Kumogakure's best and brightest. Glancing around, Hisoka estimated that there were over 60 teams here, enough to utterly destroy a smaller ninja village and far more than needed to stop this foolishness. Signaling for a team to come over, he gave them orders to report this incident to the Raikage immediately and to ask Kiyoshi, Adarui, and Barak to come here immediately. Nodding briefly, the team vanished without a trace.

Entering the building's main floor, he saw that teams of ANBU had already sealed off the entrances and exits to the main floor and thus to the outside world. Navigating through a maze of confusing hallways, Hisoka soon stood before two large, heavy steel doors that marked the entrance to the facilities command center. Stepping past the two heavy doors and the two teams of ANBU guarding it, Hisoka made his way toward Wolf, who was watching a large monitor with John displayed on it along with the earth clone's body off in a corner. Wolf caught sight of him and briefly greeted him. Informing him of all that had happened thus far, Wolf then handed command of the situation to Hisoka. Nodding his thanks, Hisoka turned and began snapping out orders to the men and women inside the room.

"Intiate Code: Gokusotsu. Authorization given by ANBU captain Nowaki."

The room soon was filled with a flurry of activity as the facility began implementing its emergency lockdown procedures. This might have been overdoing it, but Hisoka would rather go to hell than let someone, who just tried to kill his Raikage, escape.

As the orders were given, large sheets of reinforced steel, 9-10 feet thick slid down to completely seal all exits and entrances leading from the upper floors to lower floors. Even as this was happening, genjutsu specialists were laying illusions upon illusions. So great were the number and quality of their spells that they would have easily rendered an ANBU member lost and dazed with his senses all befuddled as well.

Once all this had been done, Hisoka returned command back to the facilities commander. Walking back to the facilities main atrium, he stepped close to one of the sealed entrances. Turning to one of the members standing nearby he said, "Kigiri-kun. Would you mind informing Kendalis-san of what has happened since my warning to him when he arrives. I will personally take a look at what's going on below. As Kendalis-san was ANBU commander before me, I'm sure he'll still remember what the facilities layouts are. The sniper is currently on level 42 sector D. I'll be using a translocation jutsu to get down there. Make sure no one else follows me until Kendalis-san gets here. Is that understood."

"Hai, Nowaki-san," answered the now masked ANBU member. Bowing low to Hisoka, he watched as Hisoka vanished in a swirl of wind.

Reappearing at the bottom of the facility, Hisoka nodded with approval at the quality of the lockdown. All cells except for John's had been sealed shut with thick steel sheets that still allowed enough air to pass into the cell for the prisoners within to breathe. Forming a dragon seal with his hands, he whispered, "Kaze Bunshin no Jutsu."

At his words, five figures began to form around from the air. Within a second, five copies of himself swirled into existence. Smirking at his creations, Hisoka took a brief moment to admire his own secret skill. The Kaze Bunshin skill created copies of oneself that could actually hurt and kill others unlike the one that was taught to academy students. As they were made of the air, physical attacks were all but useless against them as they simply slid through them like the clones weren't even there. It would take something like a fire or lightning jutsu or some explosives to destroy them. The downside was that they simply couldn't inflict as much damage as a more solid clone could. He'd work on that weakness when he had more time. Taking a glance around once more, he and his clones used genjutsu to blend themselves into the surrounding enviroment and headed toward John's cell.

IC: After sitting for several hours John decided he would just blow the wall and try and get out. No doubt the helicopter had already landed. so sitting behind the dead body he shot the plastic explosive wich in turn blew up the 15 pounds of it in his back pack feeling bad that he destroyed his back pack he started to notice that all he did was blow a hole into another passage. "GOD DAMIT am i ever gunna get the fuck outa here!!!" so he gathered up all his ammo and loaded all his wepons to full... he had to leave or else he would call in a missle strike on his target and the hole city if he had to... he must complete his objective.

The Raikage looked at Barak and said, "Stay here with me. Wait until the ANBU gets here before you leave." Barak nodded and said, "Okay." They waited until the ANBU came.

When they arrived the Raikage said, "Take me to the assassin. I want to know who hired him."

making his way down the hallway john started to notice that none of the other people in here were asking for his help to get out. unlike the prisons from where he came from were if one person even had a chance to get out they all took it upon them selves to ruin that chance. keeping his pistol out and looking for that same guy the broke his nose he ran up the flight of stairs at the end of the hallway. swearing to him self that he had to use another stick of plastic explosive to get thru this door cursing his bad luck he had but 3 sticks left. thinking that if he got higher up the doors might get easier to get thru but not to push his luck he cut a stick in half and then cut the half in half and put each one on the hinges shooting both he began to make his way even farther in. putting on his thermal goggles to keep those invisible bastards which put him in here out of his hair he ran onto another flight of stair noticing that there was no door here he suspected there would be no more doors down this hall way but when he dove into the hall way he noticed that there were several guys stnading and facing him using primative wepons such as swords and wat looked like throwing knives. he took off his goggles and noticed they were the invisible people that attacked him on the hill.

thinking of a way to kill them because if they were any good at being gaurds theyd have been able to see him by now but they're just standing still. saying alright to himself he sets up his sniper rifle and shoots the frist three guys after the first shot they start charging forward. when they othe 3 guys reached him they all pulled out there swords "hehehe you think that will be able to kill me" marked john as they sounded him. thinking that he could conserve his ammor on these guys he pulled out his knife and a flash grenade. throwing the grenade at his feet he jumped in the air and hit the guy on his left with a swift strike across his throat. running down the stairs the greande blew up just as he turned around he wasnt able to hear anything but he knew that thue guy up above him were blind and probably rolling on the floor in pain. He ran up and cut the tendons on their calfs and ran on.making it to the the other stair he began to think on what he might do next knowing that those guys would never be able to do any thing again he didnt worry about them attacking from behind so he ran on.

The ANBU members nodded in acknowledgement at the Raikage's command.

"Hai, Raikage-sama," they chorused in practiced unison.

Their forms blurred as they darted toward the detention facility. While enroute, they were intercepted by another team of ANBU, who were heading to warn the Raikage of the escape attempt. Quickly delivering their message, the ANBU began darting toward the detention facility.

Noticing their arrival, Higiri hurried out to inform them of the situation.

"Nowaki-sama is currently on level 42 sector D, scouting out the situation. He told me to inform you of his actions and wait for further orders. What are your commands, sir?"

While all this was happening, other ANBU teams were informing Adarui and Kiyoshi of the breakout attempt and requested their aid at the prison facility.

Meanwhile, Hisoka grimaced as John came into view. Wondering whether or not John could see him, he mentally ordering the first three of his clones to charge the sniper, he watched impassively as three sniper bullets tore through them. Yet despite such normally fatal wounds, the clones simply stumbled past and turned to face John's back, the bullet wounds vanishing in an instant as the air making up their bodies covered them up.

Smirking to himself, Hisoka thought, 'Did he really think that would work? I suppose that was expected since he doesn't know that these clones are made of air.'

Noticing that John hadn't bothered to turn and see if the three clones had dissapated, Hisoka and the remaining two clones prepared to charge but were met with the bright light of John's flash grenade. Falling back to basic training, Hisoka formed a ram seal and whispered, "Tsuchi Bunshin no Jutsu."

Just as he whispered the jutsu's name and the clone's body had formed, John's knife cut into the clone, causing it to crumble. Sighing softly in relief, Hisoka paused for a minute as his vision returned. While John had gotten past him, he was able, fortunately, to slip a minute sized tracking seal onto John's back. Thanking whatever deity was watching over him, Hisoka quickly chased after John, the five wind clones following closely. Forming a few seals, he hid the sound of his movements by way of genjutsu.

It seems that our assassin here can see through cloaking jutsu, mused Hisoka In that case, I'll simply need to incapacitate him.

Deciding that the best course would be to have his clones continue the assault while he returned to the surface, Hisoka mentally sent several orders to his clones before using a translocation jutsu to reappear on the surface. Noticing the new arrivals, he hurried over and kneeled before the Raikage.

"Raikage-sama. It appears that the assassin has successfully broken out of his cell and retrieved his guns. While it seems that he can see through cloaking jutsu, I believe that he has no knowledge of clone jutsu and as such cannot tell a person from a clone. Furthermore if we are to take him alive, it would be best to use genjutsu in combination with our Kanashibari no Jutsu (Paralysis Technique). This would freeze him in his tracks and allow us to capture him."

Even as Hisoka was speaking, the wind clones had already silently caught up with John. Slipping several senbon (needles) into each of their hands, the clones let loose a hailstorm of shining needles, each aiming for pressure points that would cause immense physical pain or otherwise incapacite John.

ic: Running down the hall john started to notice that there were foot steps behind them he quickly hid in a small cubby like thing for them to past by. when they ran by he again noticed that they were invicible like all the other ones he fought but then he niticed they were the same guys whos tendons he cut and whos bullets tore thru their heads. but their wounds were gone now what the hell happened. thinking of a way he might kill these seemingless invincible peoplle he decide to try his air pistol with out the bullets. when he got the gun unloaded he jumped out of the cubby and yelled "Hai" and when he yelled that they all came up to him. when he was surrounded he shot in ones head and noticed that it blew away just like the wind. Still thinking of how to kill them he just stood there.

Adarui saw John running and jumped out from a room and said "Going somewhere?"

1/2 a second after John dropped the sonic grenade, Adarui ensnared him with the net. A moment later. intense sound filled his ears. He also covered his ears, but John had been captured.

knowing he was snared in a net he pulled out his knife and deftly cut through the material laughing at the one guy on the ground that hit him with the net he ran off

Adarui grabbed John by the collar, spun him around and said "I don't think so."

whipping around john dropped a sonic grenade and his last flash bang and said "i think so" after turning off his goggles he imdiatly covered his ears after the explosion he pulled out his pistol stoob back and aimed it at the guys head.

I have a pistol aimed at my head. Adarui thought. All of a sudden, behind John he saw Lideniyo slowly advancing behind John's back. Do it now Adarui whistled. In a flash Lideniyo was on John like a fly on shit. "No," Adarui said. "I don't think so."

when when he got hit john pulled the trigger and put a ricochet into Adarui's arm.
as the misterious that guy jumped on pulled him to the ground he thought to himself ha atleast i put that basterd outa buisness for a while. Knowing he was caught he put his last sonic grenade down his pants and hoped he wouldnt be checked for stuff like this.while squirming on the ground he managed to open his p.d.a. and have an air strike pinpointed for this base, he would complete his mission no matter what.

Shit! Adarui thought. "Hisoka!" Adarui called out. "Lideniyo and I caught the bastard but he shot me in the arm! We're up here near Cell Block A!"

pissed off at the fact that hed been captured he hoped that this missle would end his misery faster than these barbaric idiots. hehe. kinda funny how they had to rat pack me to capture me. atleast i got the pleasure of putting one of them out of commision for a while. i hope i put marrow in his bone stream thought john as he was slowy escorted down the hall to a new cell this time he noticed he was farther down than before and they still kept walking untill they reached his new cell. aproxiamatly 4 feet by 8 feet he didnt have much room to move so he knew he wasnt gunna get out of this one, and what made it worse was that their were EIGHT gaurds in the room there was no way in hell he would come out of this alive.

As Adarui was escorted to a medical facility by ANBU he thought Man I'm gonna kill that guy.

knowing the air strike wouldnt come for a while he had to make sure what he still had and how he could make it out. he recieved a message on his pda saying that the heli was going to leave if he didnt show up soon. cursing his badluck he look thru what he had. Seeing that he only had one stick of gum that was just gum and one bullet for his rifle he decided to lay back and wait for the incoming strike.

after waiting for 4 hours he oticed that he got a message on his pda the air stike would be here any minute all he had to do was wait for it to happen

After Adarui's arm was healed he decided to wander the streets. All of a sudden he saw a plane in the sky. Shit. An airstrike. He went to go tell Raikage who then sent ANBU to bring the plane down.

bomber one over target no sign of any air defence wat so ever dropping payload be out of there in 4 minutes or your fried Alpha 4... John reading the message decided he would go for the escape now. pulling out the gum he split it up and threw it at each one of the gaurds hoping they wouldnt notice that it was fake he told them that if they did not escort him to the surface he would detnate it and kill them all... After they opened his cell he made a quick grab for one of their swords and had them slowy pack into the cell. when they where all in he locked the door and ran off.

ANBU looked up at the plane from the rooftops, drew ninja fans from their pouches and yelled "Daikamaitachi no Jutsu!" Huge gusts of wind mized with chakra were created by the fans and zoomed towards the plane.
