now to start things off ill give u guys a little history lesson No nation has ever won a was against a nations whos land army is bigger so if u guys think about it china right now has a land army of about 400-500 million(give or take a few) wich means if we went to war using only our land army we'd get owned sooo this forum is to set things right on how china's army would get owned up and done the floor by americans, the english and CANADA wait canada nvm about that one. News brief: china has declared war on the united states! People are in massive panic as millions of chinnese Soldiers march from mexico and march from canda into the united states. thousands of civilians are joining the armed forces at the boreders to help defend against the chinese. We are here at the mexican border interviewing some of the defenders.

" Sir, what do you think of the invading chinese?" says reporter Dana tyco. "Well I think these communist b@$t@rd$ finally lost their minds and think we did somthing wrong." Responds one of the solders she's interviewing. "Well do you think you can hold these guys off untill reinforcements arrive?" "Harold we have to get outa here theres to many bullets coming in." Just as she finished talking a chinese solder hopped over the the wall they were sitting behind and opens up a rain of fire one them.

Two thousand miles away the president looks at his T.V. screen in udder horror. knowing that 80% of americas army is still fighting insugent forces in Kuait and Iraq George bush Decides to call up his generals in charge of defending the front lines and tells them to pull back and fight them on more favorable ground. But as he calls the general in canada his seceratary of defence comes rushing into the room telling the president that california and new york are also being invaded and britain cant send reinforcements in yet and neither can France.

Three thousand miles away the gangs in oakland and sanfransisco join up to defend the bay area against insurrgents. knowing the streets better than any army offical or private the gangsters are holding off the Red army until more help arrives. Seeing that the red army is only armed with ak's Jethro Buffen tells his guys to goto the armory in sanfransisco and grab some rifles and to shoot the gaurds if they dont open up and give them the wepons.

At the armory the guards willingly open up and give out there weapons. in the back of the armory are 48 swat tanks with the ability to fire tear gass, water, or a high explosive shell. Getting all the smartest people in his gang to man the tanks Jethro took to the street with a heavy 50. cal machine gun to help sit in the corner. Hundreds of peoplle from sna fransisco want to help defend against the on coming chinese go up to jethro asking him for wepons to help defend with. thinking about having more people the better he hands pistols and rifles out to them.

OOC: Normally when you RP, you have to move the troops. How did China troops get to Canada (unlikely) or to mexico (possibility)?

I'm sure Canada would see the troops. Not to mention satellites. Not to mention China doesn't have that kind of capability.

OOC: Now to start things off I suggest you read up on a little war known as Vietnam.

OOC: Yes, China's army is huge, but mostly not very well equipped or trained, and their airforce and navy suck. They essentially have no force projection capabilities at all, and the US would sooner nuke the shit out of China than allow itself to be somehow magically invaded by it.

Um, no. China's military forces of all branches (PLA, PLAN, PLAAF) currently consist of about 2.5 million soldiers, a majority of which are poorly trained and equipped.

ok what u guys explained in the end is the true reson i created this forum and in veitnam it wasnt the ammount of battles we lost that made us lose the war it politics if we stayed in it we might have won. and i know chinas navy/airforce suck there army is actually well trained just poorly equiped. and if china were to attack the us they would go thru what i stated earlier mexico maby not canada and they would land in newyork and california just beacuse we have little military power in either of those states along with orgon bu tthat state doesnt count since 90% of its coast is cliff. washingtons millatary is suprisingly big soo yeh. we have otwo airforce bases in cali and 3 army training facilitys. and new york has 1 army base and thats is. so if china were to attack i have done my research and found this stuff out.

No, the United States Navy, and yes, I seriously meant it. US military spending per year is equal to the rest of the world's military spending combined. With the USN for example has 21 Flight I type Arleigh Burke destroyers, 7 Flight IIs, and 17 Flight IIAs, with another four in construction, and another ten planned.

Then there's another 23 Ticonderoga class cruisers, 2 CVs, and 10 CVNS (with another being built, and an entirely new class being designed), and I'm not even going to go into the amount of amphibious assault ships, cutters, minelayers, and submarines.

AND, this retarded idea of an RP also assumes the US just wouldn't go nuclear in the first place in the event of an invasion, which it most assuredly would. (after magically assuming China's army somehow swam across the Pacific and overran two countries without either of those countries noticing either, plus its also ignoring the incredibly long logistics train such a force would require, along with forces that would have to be kept in the rear for occupational purposes and guarding supply routes).

EDIT: This'll be my last post. I was just really annoyed to see some n00b so dramatically underestimating US intelligence and military and confusing wishful thinking with research. The RP and name just make me think he's here to stir up crap with the other RPers.

China A. will not out right attack us imediatly B. would have a way to deal with nukes, air attacks C. would most likely hit americas part were if they launched a nuke onto other soil it would cause a new world war

Alright, I'm back in this since you want to keep the fight going.

1. No, logistics doesn't pierce ship hulls, but each carrier holding more planes than most 3rd world nations have in their entire airforce does.
2. Oh, fine, they move troops over gradually over several months. They still have to deal with the Mexican fucking government and its army.
3. Fine, China doesn't attack us immediately. Hell, that actually gives even more time to detect and intercept their mobilization.
4. Air strikes. Wtf? Nevermind the fact that what the USAF has based here alone would mess up any Chinese attack, but theres the USAF's assets stationed abroad that would immediately begin hitting Chinese targets.
5. Our nuclear weapons aren't just stationed here you know, there's also the subs. One could sit off the coast of Japan and lob nukes into Beijing with no problem.
6. It's already a world war in this scenario dumbass. We nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki simply because they were industrial targets that also served as Army Corps HQs, do you somehow think the US wouldn't nuke the shit out of China if China somehow magically invades the US? Not to mention Chinese retaliation capability would suck, since their ICBM inventory is a couple dozen missiles *at most*, and thus, it is indeed a nuclear war we can win.

If you claim to have researched this, do feel free to post links to where you procured your "research" so we can mock it mercilessly.
