Despite the mishap some time (years) ago when the PLA blew up the Royal Airship with King Wasterin X onboard, the Royal Aerionian Airship Corporation, an corporation which had been a favorite of the King had continued to produce zeppelins that cruised the skies of Aerionian passing over the mega-cities, and Royally protected wilderness. Another accident had not happened to date. Their zeppelins are known to have some of the safest materials, with advanced materials such as polymer plastics and fiber optic rather than electric controls with advanced propulsion technology. Today was the day they had prepared for, the maiden voyage of the 1500 ft long luxury airship Olania. The largest luxury airship in their fleet. With 7 decks, it is a massive but beautiful construction.


Layout of the Olania

Top Deck 1 - Large lounge and Bar in modernist styling with panoramic windows overlooking the view below. Digital network access terminals to the Internet, etc. Small gambling parlor with a blackjack table, and roulette table.

Deck 2 - First Class Passenger Cabins and First Class Private Lounge. 1 Royal Suite (four rooms). 10 First Class Superior Suites, with large bathrooms, panoramic windows, sitting room with mini-bar or other bedroom for families, and bedroom with king sized bed. Suite comes with personal butler who will attend to you for your stay. 15 First Class Suites with 2 rooms, a small sitting room, and bedroom with vista windows, queen sized bed, and nice sized bathroom. 1 Butler to 2 rooms for regular First Class Suites. Panoramic jacuzzi room. First Class Private Lounge has pool table, bar with bartender, and panoramic window as well as a full classical piano.

Deck 3 - The High Vista Restaurant, fine dining in an elegant Baroque style atmosphere. The Ethereal Store, a high priced ship boutique carrying designer clothing items, accessories, and more expensive souvenirs. Also a fine selection of wines, and cigars. Small two seat beauty parlor and for the men a male barber on call. Luxurious day spa with masseurs, relaxing soaking tubs.

Deck 4 - 30 Standard Passenger Cabins, and 10 Deluxe Cabins. Standard cabins are cruise ship sized, deluxe are slightly nicer with a tub and slightly more space with a desk, chair, and larger window.

Deck 5 - Grand Lobby with spiral staircase decorated in Baroque styling. Rose Cafe and the High Brew Coffee Shop. Two Rentable Conference Rooms with full table and chairs. Sky Souvenirs Shop, carrying souvenirs, fresh flowers, and snacks etc. other things typical in souvenir shops. Postal Room and Services. Guest Concierge, etc.

Deck 6 - Off-Limits Crew and Operations Deck with Bridge and Docking Tube.

Deck 7 - Off Limits Crew and Operational Deck with Engines.


Rates are higher as it is an airship, but all of the airship is fairly luxurious with great service. The entire airship could be comparative to a 4 star hotel, with the first class being 5 stars.

Rates of Fare:
Royal Suite - $5000 a day
First Class Superior Suite - $2500 a day
First Class Suite - $1200 a day
Deluxe Cabin - $800 a day
Standard Cabin - $400 a day



The maiden voyage of the Olania will launch from the wealthy resort and artistic town of Lyeithen. The Lyethen area is known for its Baroque architecture as compared to the rest of Aerion, and being surrounded by miles of the Royal Lyethen Wilderness Preserve with only one road going in and one train. It is still very luxurious, with an imported old world charm by the higher class. Those who had already made prior reservations for the Olania's flight would probably be staying at the 5 star Royal Lyeithen Hotel & Spa or the 4 star Cedar Mansion Hotel. Many corporate elite visited these towns, and those visiting would overhear much talk of business and what some would consider dirty deals. They would also have visited perhaps the high price boutiques and spas in the streets of Lyeithen, or the lovely recreated street market with fresh foods. Perhaps visited the town's squares, or saw the many art galleries which could be really appreciated as not so bourgeois but artists truly trying to make a living.

The nearest regional airport was 100 miles away in the largest town, but could accomidate private jets, and had hourly flights to and from the international airport in Ornpereith, a typical Aerion megacity. Luxury transportation vehicles were available at both locations, or if one preferred they could have boarded the train and came into Lyeithen.

As in traditional custom, a massive field will serve as the launching point, with an docking tube extended to Deck 5 from the tower in the Airship Docking Station on the side of the field.


*OOC NOTES Feel free to roleplay your arrival on the field, and preparing to board. As was said, you could have stayed at the Royal Lyeithen Hotel & Spa or the Cedar Mansion Hotel. You could have come by train or plane. If you come by private jet, it would probably be to the regional airport in the town 100 miles away or if you just came by regular plane to the international airport in Ornpereith. Rules are of course no weapons, unless ceremonial decorative, and no fighting. Consent only. The planned voyage is through wilderness area, and perhaps near the snow covered mountains in northern Aerion.*

Marie Johnsen, her younger sister Amanda, her father Frank Johnsen, her mother Arna Johnsen, stepped out of their limo onto the airfieled. The majestic air ship The Olaina

They we're one of the richest families in the Kanami, and we're looking for a good vacation, after a troubleing month of heavy competition, and a near hostile takover of Johnsen Electronics Enterprises. Thank goodness that was adverted.

"It's wonderful." Marie said

Amanda asked "Did you make that daddy?"

"No sweetheart. This is not my doing" He picked her up and lifted her onto his shoulders.

"I know it's a nice air ship but is it air worthy?" Asked the concerned mother.

"Perfectly my dear."

"I just remeber the Hildelbear inicdent."

"The problem with that was an inbalance of helium and other gasses that cuased it to crash in that storm. But these people too have had a bit of mishaps, and they make these ships solid as rocks."

"Well let's get onboard." Marie excitedly said

"After you pumpkin."

Passengers were going the two elevators up to the boarding ramp in the tower, where the boarding ramp to the huge airship was, which was like a large tube covered ramp extended out from the tower.

The white coated steward on the ground smiled toward the family, "Right this way" And he gestured toward the Airship Docking Station, and into the tower. "Glad to have you aboard, if you will step into the elevators they will take care of you from there."

After moving into the elevators, and coming out at the start of the boarding tube another white coated steward stood carrying a digital pad. He smiled at the family, "Ahh, Mr and Mrs Johnsen. Welcome to the Olania. We have an prepared First Class Superior Suite for you, and we can offer you the one with the child's bed if you wish."

Armin and his family came to the airfield. Armin was a rich Thanetarian but also a pious one. He brought his wife, Madeleine (may change later) and his children (more than one) with him. Armin wanted a vacation but not in Thanetaria, thinking somewhere else would be nice.

''What a great ship!'' one of Armin's sons, Yami said.

''Very large ship!'' Rachel, one of his daughters said.

Armin smiled and said ''Indeed, it is a great ship. We will be on our vacation there.''

His other children and his wife were also excited and Armin went to the ship. Sighting the steward, Armin went to him and greeted him politely, Armin was a respectful man.

A white horsedrawn carriage pulled up. Out stepped her Royal Highness Princess Tomoyo.
http://************/mgs2q Along with her assitant Yomi. She was on a global tour to improve Kurona's relations in the world. Prime Ministe Elenore Romeny of Kanami, a good freind decided to foot the bill and give her an air pass. Including a Royal Suite.

Tomoyo a rather traditionalist while looked at the ship with glee, also looked at it with a bit of over sense.

"I don't see what the fuss is about. It doesn't look any bigger than my personal sailing ship The Raven."

"You can beat about some things Your Highness but not about Olaina It's over a hundred feet longer than the Raven and it will be far more faster for you, and luxur."

"I really could have saild. It's such and expensive trip, and I've never really flown much other than once. And that was when I was fleeing from rising flood waters."

"Do not worry your highness, the bill is all taken care of. This will get you to your destinations with out the troubles of the sea."

"Right, well let's board then."

The massive airship was a sight to behold with its pure white envelope tied around the huge grass field but still floating with the tower and boarding tube extended out from the tower to the airship like a bridge.

The whole time the steward's were communicating by hidden in-ear communicators on various frequencies, as well as the rest of the crew. Service was their speciality.

The steward smiled, "Very well sir, if you will step right this way this steward will introduce you to your personal butler who will take care of all your needs." Another white jacket steward approached, smiled, and gestured. "We will also have any luggage you have taken care of, and brought to your room."

-Thanetaria-

The steward greeted Armin politely in return, "Greetings sir." He pointed him toward the Airship Docking Station with its tower and boarding ramp, "If you proceed over there, and take the elevators you will be at the boarding ramp. If you have not yet reserved a room, you may do so at the reservations desk in the Grand Lobby onboard the ship, and if you have not yet booked for the journey you may do so at the desk in the station."

As she stepped out of the carriage, the two stewards proceeded to get her luggage as her butler greeted her, "Greetings, Your Royal Highness." He did a small half-bow, "I am your butler for the journey. I will show you to your room."

"Thank you." She said with a bow

"Ah thank you very much." He gave a generous tip

"The Royal Suite was reserved priorly, but we have you reserved for two First Class Superior Suites sir which will provide ample room for your family as well as two butlers. We may also provide you with a nanny if you wish." He smiled politely, "Your butlers have been called down now, they will show you to your rooms."

Armin said ''That is fine with us. We don't mind, we understand.'' Armin had with him, his wife and 12 children (sorry if too big, was going for Cheaper by the Dozen style). ''A nanny for my little children would be good.'' Armin said. The butlers came and Armin said ''Let's go on our vacation!''

Tomoyo was shown to her room. "Thank you very much." She bowed to the Butler.

People continue to arrive, and board the Olania as the stewards mill about helping people aboard.


Aerionian High Society Arrives

Several Aerionian passengers begin arriving as well, most arriving as customarily on their own time even though the ship had been loading luggage and passengers for almost an hour. Their unique mixture of Middle Eastern and Italian look (Though unique race the Aerionians were). Olive skin, brown or black hair, brown eyes for Western Aerionians but a mixture of eye colors for the sometimes fairer Eastern Aerionians.

Adinastat luxury sedans began pulling up to the parking area, the uniformed drivers with driver caps stepping out and opening the doors for their passengers, and out stepped the Aerionian passengers.

One woman wore what could be said to wore an black dress, white fur scarf around her neck, with with an cloche hat. Her purse had AV monogrammed all over it, standing for Adron Vasser, one of the most popular Aerionian designers, as well as her luggage was monogrammed AV. Her husband wore a casual light white summer suit, with no tie, and an unbuttoned blue shirt with an white fedoria with white band.

With an elderly couple, the woman with brown hair wears a white summer dress with frills, and in contrast to the white dress she wears an wide large brim black hat with a band with an elegant bow. Her husband wears a more traditional black suit, with black tie.

These are evidence of the Aerionian tendency over time to have imported styles from other nations and cultures. (The traditional High Society of Aerion mirrors the British Empire and French high societies in some ways as far as style and culture but without the necessarily moral standards and religion)

If one came from the megacity or passed through them they would see the high society's style greatly contrased with those of the average citizen, who often wore plain minimalist black or gray clothing, tunics with some brand logo, and simple dresses. And many daily working for the megacorporations wore work uniforms. Or the executives milling about who wore the traditional there-piece black or gray business suit to work.

Though those who had just seen the idealic isolated wealthy resort town of Lyeithen would be in a different world than the majority of Aerionians living in the megacities. Aerionians high society of super-wealthy families, corporate stock holders, megacorporation executives, and government officials was an world away from the bleak minimalist modernist society of the rest of Aerion.

The butler bowed in return realizing the most likely customs of the Princess, "Your Royal Highness, if there is anything else you need of me, let me know. You may push this button over here." He points to a button over on the wall, "And I will be here."

"Well before you go, would please bring me some tea? I like honey it, thank you."

Passengers were still boarding the airship, along with their luggage, after an hour and ahalf. The weather was still sunny, and calm for now though there were some clouds on the horizon. The mountains in the far distance could be seen, especially by those boarding and going to the upper decks of the tied airship.

The butler bowed, and returned with her tea shortly thereafter from the butler's station in the service room down the hall on this side of the First Class deck, where a number of things that guests may request of the butlers or maids were at.

The airship awaited for further passengers, as the sun begin setting far away setting the mood of the evening. It had been waiting for 2 hours, and the lights were coming on inside the ship, and huge spotlights illuminated the side of the ship. Bright lights on the field, and in the boarding tower allowed clear vision of the area. The lights of the town came on as well. It was a majestic sight to see, the huge white envelope of the ship lit up by the spotlights.

The townspeople began to gather to watch the ship as the sun set, as they got off their shifts at their jobs, as well as many of the wealthier vacationers in the town. One man commented, "This town is nice enough for me", and which it was, with its spas, luxury locations, and country estates outside the town but the airship offered a new experience.

Artists gathered to paint paintings in their own version of the airship, and its passengers boarding.

Enoch Bummel, Dandy, Gentlemen theif and world respected (within the amateur model rail fraternity). Entered the airship with the other 3rd class passengers. He had seen airships before, he has even been on one before. No airship however was this grand in scale or in passengers.

Locking himself in his small cabin he took out his tailcoat, waistcoat and and screwed together his cane. Examining himself in the small cabin mirror examined his overly examined long hair and fixed and an Orchid to his button hole.

All Ships of this scale had a casino or lounge or smoking room or somewhere were the disguestingly rich congregated. Well tonight he would lead them a merry dance. He closed the door and left his room, making for the stairs.

Passengers were still boarding the Olania as the sun was still setting.

There was all this on the ship, a lounge and gambling parlour on the top deck.

With vested stewards, traditionally uniformed butlers, and maids could be seen preparing the ship, and its guests for a most comfortable voyage.

Ayernon, head of international relations rushed from the hired car, the Olania was just about ready to set sail.

Sweat dropped off of his crumpled forhead, his pulse racing. Galloping with the speed and grace that men half his age would be proud of he bound up the ornate steps into the airship.

He had made it with minutes to spare.

While waiting for a steward to appear, he pulls a linen handkerchief from his waistcoat pocket and begins mopping his brow.

Maybe if he hadn't decided to partake in the internal briefing with the head of trade comitee he might've managed to catch a prompt(er) service.

"Well, I do hope that my reservations for the first class suite came through, although, god knowing my aide it'll have been for the standard cabin!" He grinned as he rested against his cane, his baggage leaning against a wall.

His greying hair staying in place, perfected by years of continual grooming, his weathered and caring face contrasting his sharp suit and waistcoat of olden age gentlement

The Olania was about to take off in approximately thirty minutes, the stewards bustling around the ship getting passengers settled in, and dinner preparing to be served as it was getting to be night. The Olania had no problem taking off in the night, with its lights, advanced GPS systems, and advanced sensors.

Dinner was being prepared in the high class High Vista Restaurant, and the Rose Cafe for more casual faire.

An male First Class Steward in an elegant traditional white jacket uniform happened to be passing by in the Grand Lobby approached the man, "Greetings, sir. How may I help you?

(To All. You may still join for the next few posts, though all those participating so far may go ahead and start roleplaying. The ship will be taking off soon. There may be a method of joining mid-air later on or on another stop. Go ahead and start the RP! :))

Maryanne Bennice raced on her bike to get to the air ship. She was really late. Her dress got caught in the spokes causing her to spill.

"Oh shit." She started cursing, which was unusual for a bit of a classy lady like her. But she was late.

She finally made it, presented her standard ticket.

-Emerald Springs-
A steward quickly rushed to help the lady up, "Oh madam, are you alright?" He looked at her, looking at her ticket, "Come right aboard, I can help escort you to the passenger deck.

"I'm fine. I'm just glad I made it."

Emma and her Partner Mary-Anne, came up to the airship.

Emma was nervous she didn't like flying. "Why did you talk me into this? I hate flying. I'd rather safe."

"You're much safer in the air than on the ground."

"I love you and all but this is too much."

"Calm down Emma."

Mary-Anne presented the tickets. Two Standard Class Tickets.

-Aqua Anu-

The steward greeted them, "Madams. Thank you." One of the stewards gestured toward the boarding tower, where elevators led up to the covered cross-way that led from the tower to the large airship.

"Thank you very much."

(The ship is about to take off, so any last takers come on aboard then we will launch!.)

The airship was making preparations for takeoff in the evening, and dinner was being served in the dining room. The airship's special stabilization engineering was such that even if the ship tilted, or barely blew in the wind the compensating blowers and such would stabilize it to the point it could barely be felt.

First Class received personal letters from their butlers or an first class steward in their name that the Captain personally welcomed them to the Olaria, and that complementary cocktails could be had in the First Class Lounge for First Class passengers.

Passengers may also enjoy the lounge, and bar on the highest deck of the ship with beautiful wrap around observation windows if they wish.

Some passengers may be returning, or still having dinner in either the expensive fine dining High Vista Restaurant or the more casual Rose Cafe.
