OOC: * REPRESENTS DEFINITIONS AT END OF DOCUMENT*

0125 Hours – June the 5th 0001 PR (Post Revolution) – The Hall of Government* in the city of Lenninstal – The People’s Republic of Fathor

It was nearly dark in the office of Patrick J D The People’s Commissioner*, with the exception of a weak lamp atop the large paper covered mahogany desk at which he sat, and the dieing fire in the hearth across the room. Commissioner Patrick was so immersed in the near forest of papers, that he did not notice the raging blizzard outside. Suddenly there was a knock at the great doors to the office,
“Yes” he mumbled “enter!”
In the office walked a young Lieutenant of The Red Guard* and head of The Commissioner’s personal guard
“Sir, the hour is late, and the storm worsening, if we wait much longer, the driver will not be able to move his vehicle” said the young Lieutenant.
“Yes..Yes..Yes” mumbled the Commissioner, not looking up from the papers “We shall leave momentarily, I am just finishing up the accounts of the revolution, so history will remember properly what has happened these last few months.”
The Lieutenant left the office, and soon the Commissioner closed the leather bound portfolio from which he was reading, and headed out the office, leaving the contents of the portfolio to be published for the world, for history, and account of the revolution…

From The History of The Revolution

….“December 15th, 2 Months before the Revolution:
The Imperial Monarch has disbanded the Council of Lords, the closest thing the people had to self government, not that the lords cared for the peasants and working class. Famine spread through the land, mothers with crying children waited hours for a handful of bread. Men, and boys as young as ten years old work as many as 16 hours a day in the mines, or the factories for nothing but a few slips of Latinum* a week. All resources are scarce, especial fuel wood and coal, which is not making the long winter months any easier for the people.
Throughout the land working men, soldiers, and students met in Pubs, and cursed the King, grumbling of the harsh times, sowing the seeds of Revolution.” ….

**********************
• Latinum: The unit of currency in The People’s Republic of Fathor as well as the Old Kingdome, 100 Slips = 1 Strip, 25 Strips = 1 Bar, 150 Bars = a Brick. 2 Strips= approx $5 USD

From The History of The Revolution

….“ January 20th, 25 Days before the Revolution:
The movement has become more organized, and the king is beginning to see it. As of now we are organized into cells, so that if one is captured, the others shall remain free”…

….“ January 25th, 20 Days before the Revolution:
The People have begun to act, The King has suspended all but the Crown Run media, but it hasn’t stopped us. Every morning the streets are littered with our newspapers, our decrees and proclamations to the people are handed out freely, by The Red Guard, who openly walk the streets in uniform. The king has restricted inter-city travel, but the cause is growing. The membership of the Red Guard is in the thousands, with thousands of extra rifles to spare.
Factory workers and Miners have begun striking, halting production and Leaders of the movement are negotiating with the railway and post workers to bring the Kingdom to a halt”…

From The History of The Revolution

...“Febuary 25th, 10 days before the Revolution:
The workers, peasants and soldiers have found solidarity, and are openly resisting the oppressive tactics of the Monarch. All resistance cells have sent to representatives to Arakian (Now Lenninstal) to form the First Congress of The People. Meanwhile the Royal Court has fled to the fortified keep, in the Mountain City of Fajor (Now Trotstal). Many solders from the Kings Army have defected, and we've won every battle without bloodshed.”

...“March 1st, 6 days before the Revolution:
We've begun to suffer losses as the Red Guard begins to move out from Arakian, which the First Congress has renamed Lenninstal. The Royal Family has lost almost all loyalty in the military, except the Royal Forces. We have assumed that they have hired Cossakal Mercenaries who act only out of greed, and promises of land and titles.”

When the vanguard of the working classes seize the means of production, bringing with it the dictatorship of the proletariat and the eventual harkening of the communist paradise to come, Uncle Noel thinks that no leap backwards.
