Alright. I'm going to be doing another student exchange thread. The thread will be set at Geller High School in Naoley, Wintermore. Each player will play one exchange student from their nation who is assumed to be part of a larger foreign exchange program between the two nations. This is a social RP so no violent types or others who'll take it into a legal arena. To sign-up, please fill out the following form for your character.

She does not subsist on only blood, but needs it in addition to normal food. She will not die from the sun, just suffer very bad sunburns if not careful. Her family's political ideals are somewhat communistic.

While also attending a catholic high school, she has won several national and regional championships. While not training, Yasi usually hangs out with her friends and does normal (for Kelsians, at least) teenage activities. Although excited, she is a bit hesitant to live and study so far a way from home.

The Weyrean public education system may or may not differ significantly from that of the Resurgent Dream, and as a result Karina may have difficulty dealing with the coursework for some of her classes. The indoctrination inherent in the Weyrean education system may affect her performance in social science classes, and in how she interacts with other students.

Most Weyreans are not anywhere near as 'augmented' as popular thought may suggest. Expectations of being able to hack into a teacher's computer and steal the answer key to the upcoming pre-calculus midterm may thus cause their own social difficulties.

Special Requirements: Pets, part of Aidans training is maintaining a mental connection with five 'familiar' like animals. The animals are genetically engineered and have almost no free wil of their own, effectively extensions of Aidans will. While they are small enough to not require special housing a couple may have special dietary needs such as raw meat or supplements.
Other Facts of Note:
Aidan is a cross-caste child in a highly structured society. his father is a Marine and his mother a diplomat. As such he has been stuck with a lot of social stigma, and been forced to participate in the training programs for both castes until he was sixteen. When he reached his sixteenth birthday, he was given the right to choose his own path and decided to join the marines as a military liason.. sharp end diplomacy where your ability to dodge bullets counts for as much as your silvered tongue.

Despite this, he is not a violent kid. Even tempered to the point of seeming to have no temper at all. may have some difficulty initially relating to other, less structured societies as this is his first time outside of his native habitat.

Everyone: Kindly refrain from posting my characters' words or actions in the future. I can hardly let anyone learn anything of my national character and the like if I don't get to play my own nationals and everyone else is playing them like Americans. I'm willing to leave most of it in except for the part where Mr. Wright references a dated United States biker gang that he'd have no reason to have ever even heard of. Sorry to be a bitch but I've never felt this controlling whatever characters were around to make a longer post was much of roleplaying.

It's not necessarily a direct swap. The RPed characters are but a few among thousands of exchange students in the Resurgent Dream and their host families all have a child somewhere among thousands of other families.
