Casari

After the demise of the Tyrellia bid and the running of the Ylompics, it was determined that maybe... just maybe... another Bid would need to be submitted.
Therefore-
The Nation of Casari Presents-
The Ashford bid!
Built on the Nemyan Strait on Casari's sunny Silver Coast, the city of Ashford is well suited to host a competition of considerable international standing and difficulty as the Olympics. The same determination and skill that made the Ylompics an overwelming success will be brought to bear on the Summer Olympics as well.
Events:
The event list will be extremely close to Olympic standards, with only minor modifications.
CANOEING- Flatwater Canoeing will be cut. Slalom Canoeing will take place, however.
COMBAT EVENTS- Boxing and weightlifting will have Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight, in increasing size. Taekwondo, Judo, and Wrestling will only have Light, Medium, and Heavyweights.
TEAM SPORTS- Both Men's and Women's One Day International Cricket and Men's Rugby Sevens will be included in the team sports competition. As well, Baseball and Softball will not be cut.
The rest of the Olympic schedule will take place as noted.
Schedule:
The games will take place over 24 days of competition. An exact schedule has yet to be determined, but plans involve having Swimming and Athletics to together run the duration of the games, with other events taking place during those sports as well. Team Sport Competition will have Pool Play take place over the first 14-16 days of competition, with the knockout rounds for all sports to take place over the final 8-10.
Entering:
The Entry process will have 3 entries for every singles or individual event, 2 entries of 2 people for any pairs events, and 1 entry of the particular size of the team for any events with teams of 3 or more available for each nation in every event. There will be TWO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. For Artistic Gymnastics, each athlete is entered individually, but 6 are required to enter the team competition. The same issue will come up in Team Eventing, where athletes can compete individually, but 4 are required to enter the team competition. 6 and 4 will henseforth be allowed in both of these events, yo.
Nations will be able to customize their athletes using a points system. For each athlete entered, the nation will recieve a point. These points can then be given to athletes with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 4. Because of this, to make a powerhouse 4 athlete, the player will need to take points from other athletes, preventing them from listing everyone as a 4. Again, there will be an exception in Artistic Gymnastics, where each gymnast will have their own individual rating.
Each nation will be also able to name a National Sport, and all the athletes the nation enters in that sport (Swimming, Diving, Equestrian, Men's Football, etc.) will recieve a bonus.
Scorination:
The Ashford bid will not reuse the Tyrellian Ylompic scorinators in their Ylompic form, but will instead use rebuilt versions of them in an effort to improve the quality of scorination and to work with the new rating system as opposed to the older "Sub-Par/World Class Tag" system which didn't always give the predicted results.
