The Story So Far...
For countless ages since before the birth of creation the Gods of Light have fought the Gods of Darkness with the Gods of Neutrality in the middle, holding the Balance between the two forces to ensure the survival of reality and the mortal races.

But in recent millennia the nature of the war has begun to shift, the two principle Gods Paldine (God of Absolute Good) and Takhisis (Goddess of Absolute Evil) destroyed each other in a deadly contest of wills and now the two thrones where these Gods once ruled are now open for any deity with enough strength to take. The only original ruling deity is Gilean (God of Absolute Neutrality) who is just barely able to hold the balance between Good and Evil... But that delicate balance is beginning to slip as the Gods take to their new battlefield... The planet Earth.


The RP
So basicly you can sign up as either as a God of Good, Evil, or Neutrality. You can borrow from the Gods of RL Mythology, other RP Games (example Dungeons and Dragons), other book serries (Dragonlance), or make up your own. But whatever you do don't pick a deity that is a ruler of the Gods since we are currently involved in a power struggle over rule ship over the two Pantheons of Heaven.

EDIT: You can have two God Characters, but they CANNOT be of the same alignment.

Bio Morgion is the god of decay in all its forms (including disease, insanity, rust, and other forms of misery) He wishes to see all things wither away into decadence, and for mortals to suffer as much as possible prior to going on to the next stage of their soul's journey.

Morgion lives in the Bronze Tower on the edge of reality, where he carries out his plots. He rarely allies with the other gods of Evil, and stands in total opposition to all the gods of Good. With the downfall of Takhisis Morgion's plots have turned from making the lives of mortals miserable into gaining the Throne of Evil for himself.

Also can a god be a god of evil(as thier domain) but be good in nature?
Third, the three top gods came from Dragonlance, correct?

Theao: The reason I created Neutrality was so that there could be Gods that were neither all good or all evil but a mix of the two.

And while you should pick a symbol you could skip the constellation (at least pick a single star if you don't want a constellation).

And yes the Three Top gods came from Dragonlance (because I'm familiar with them) but you can have whatever Gods you want.

Bio: A former mortal, due to some chicanery, succeeded the former God of Evil and Prince of Lies. Because of certain event he witnessed, believes the 'good gods' are actually closer to indifferent and uncaring about mortals. Seeks to gain the balance of souls so he can shake things up and fix what he sees as the mess the good gods have made of things.

Part of the battle for Earth among the Gods will be spreading the worship of your deity, since Earth is considered a new frontier in this eternal conflict all of the Gods will start out fresh in searching for followers and worshipers. In the beginning you can claim a single temple and a small band of hardcore followers which you will have to use to spread your religion across the world.

And each God having either a star constellation or a sacred star is a RL connection to the Greek and Roman gods who had constellations in the heavens to identify them with.

EDIT: and by the way, both you and Theao are in!

Oh, and a cookie for whoever can guess which god mine's based on. Hint it's from a fantasy book.

Ikanhulta is the lord of a world called Sandeya. He is the epitemy of the Great Sandeyan Desert; sand, wind, and heat. He controls these three elements, and with them he rules Sandeya iron-fisted. He lusts for power, however, and spies the unclaimed masses of Earth with hunger. He can only rule in a desert, so his first priority will be to warm Earth, destroy all water, and cover it with his Divine Sand Wind.

Magic, how much/can it be given to priests ect?

It's MT.
And the amount of power that can be given to a priest is related to the level of faith that priest has in the God in question (plus the lengh of time that priest has served that particular God).

As for confrontations... I don't really know. I guess we will have to do trial and error.

I draw the line at the Judeo-Christian-Muslim deity(ies) since they much to uber-powerful. But by all means use the Hindu gods, Greek Gods and other gods of earth's mythology.

I know you asked for them to be different alignments(to prevent 'tag-teaming'), but while they might have the same alignment, they would work together. Karrian has good intentions, but utilizes evil methods. Carmaria would only see the evil, not the grand scheme so to her Karrian would be of evil rather than of good.

Location: Palace of the Balancing Dark and Light (where shadows live forever)
Bio: a firm believer in the rights of god, he is also dedicated to the rights of man, specifically, the idea that man, created by the gods as sentient, can choose their own destiny, and that the gods should refrain from direct action on the mortal planes. Despises the cruelty of the Evil gods and their perversity, and criticizes the good gods for what he calls hypocricy. His priests are famed debators, lawyers, magicians, and scientists.

Ravea and King Arthur the Great have been added to the list, and Theao's new God has been accepted... for now.

Bio: A grandson of Paldine, Drestel is the Eternal God of Celestial Justice. His followers include the morally respectable judges, arbiters, and tribunes of the world. An active god, he is always quick to dispatch one of his priests or followers to tackle the problems created by his opponents, the gods of evil.

Location- Tithium The spot where all the dimensions and realities come together. Where time stands still, and there is constant chaos and struggle. A place of clashing morals, and justice.

Bio- Ishimum is the god of war against injustice. He believes in an “eye for an eye” and “If thy enemy kills thy neighbor, kill him as well as his family”. Often seeming power hungry, or evil, his will is good, and will defend and honor the innocent with great gifts as long as he shall live.

King Arthur the Great: You are not allowed to have two gods of the same alignment.

Really? O.k, I'll change him, though in actuality he was supposed to work opposite of Kryndos. Here oges then.
