Intynyian Football Tonight

[camera opens to a desk with four men in business attire.]

"Good evening, football fans, and welcome to the first edition of Football Tonight. First of all, we'd like to thank you on behalf of the entire Intynyian League for making football possible by your rabid support."

[camera switches from the four men to the one farthest left, a lean, tall man shuffling his notes.]

"Lets get right into the action."

[camera switches to highlights of the Holy City-Karvo FC match, showing instant replays of the three goals scored in the match, along with noteable tackles and fouls.]

"Holy City came into this game expecting to win, with good reason. At home against the lowest ranked team in the league, the leaders should handle their counterparts easily. But such is not always the case. Falling behind by 1 only eleven minutes into the match, the favored team would not lead at all during this game, with the only brightside being a goal from #11 in the 86th minute to ruin Karvo's clean sheet."

[the camera switches back to the four men, and then quickly to the second match of the day, between T'ik FC and Real Ruul. Highlights from this match are distinctly pro-Real Ruul.]

"In our other Northern Division match," said the second man, "We have T'ik FC, ranked 3rd, and Real Ruul, ranked 6th. Like Holy City, T'ik FC find themselves down in the standings early in the season because of unwarranted pride and flamboyance at home. Real Ruul clearly wanted this game more passionately."

[the camera switches back to the desk, where the men shuffle their papers. After a news break, highlights of the third matchday 1 game play, this time featuring Real Ravilo and Kolor Dynamo. Highlights for this game are fairly dreary, and the outcome is too.]

"In the Southern Division's first match of the season, we have Real Ravilo and Kolor Dynamo fighting to a 1-1 draw, epitomizing the division's close quarters, and setting the tone for a close, tense season."

[almost finished with their broadcast, the reporters shuffle their papers once more and the last man in line begins talking.]

"And in our final game of the day, we have #4 T'aof and #5 T'kara FC, themselves playing to a draw. The match appeared to be going for T'aof, but in the 89th minute, whether by miracle or by skill, T'kara's #9 scored the tying goal, lifting his team and keeping the division level."

[the camera pans out yet again, facing all of the reporters. They talk quietly amongst themselves as the picture fades out.]

Intynyian Football Tonight

[camera opens to the now familiar cast of Football Tonight, talking quietly amongst themselves before beginning.]

"Welcome to Football Tonight, discussing all the happenings of matchday two. An exciting show we have for you tonight, featuring the highest scoring game in IFL history, and much more. Don't go away."

[commercials air, and when the show is back, the first sportscaster, Jim, dives right into the day's first game.]

"In Ruul earlier this morning, we had #6 Real Ruul hosting #1 Holy City, trying to rebound from an embarrassing 2-1 loss on matchday one. Today, however, would swing the way of the away team. 3 early consecutive goals by Holy City's #9, #10, and #9 (respectively,) put the away team up fast, and they would never look back. They went on to win, climbing into first in the Northern standings."

[highlights of the second Northern match roll, showcasing a spectacular volley goal by T'ik FC's #11, and the roar of the crowd.]

"In our second match of the day, we had #8 Karvo FC hosting #3 T'ik FC, and what an exciting match to watch if you were an away fan. Ahead at half 1-0, T'ik would not back down until they had an insurance goal, which is exactly what #11 gave them in the 56th minute. A corner, lofted by #8, sank just in front of the T'ik forward, who bicycle kicked the ball safely away over the keepers left shoulder. Asked after the game about the concussion which he suffered while shooting the goal: 'I' wan' two bahd. I kepp on playeh lie I alwah doo.'"

[commercials air again, and the camera pans into the third man's face as he shuffles his papers.]

"Never in the short history of the IFL has there been such a highscoring game as the one showcased in our first Southern match of matchday two. Seven different players would score at least one goal, with one player performing so well that he slotted not two, but three goals past the opposing keeper for his first career hattrick. #9 for Real Ravilo, quite often recognized as the best player on the Real team, was that man, and, incredibly, he only scored 30% of the goals in this game! A 5-5 tie, and one of the greatest matches ever played."

[the camera zooms to the last sportscaster, who looks seriously into the camera and begins.]

"And in our final match of the day, we have Kolor Dynamo(7) hosting T'aof(4). These two teams would battle the entirety of the first half and most of the second scoreless, only to draw 1-1 on goals from #11 of Kolor, and #10 of T'aof."

[the camera pans out yet again, facing all of the reporters. They talk quietly amongst themselves as the picture fades out.]

Intynyian Football Tonight

[camera opens to the now familiar cast of Football Tonight, talking quietly amongst themselves before beginning.]

"Welcome to Football Tonight, discussing all the happenings of matchday three. An interesting matchday, very delayed in coming is to be presented tonight. Don't go away."

[commercials air, and when the show is back, the first sportscaster, Jim, dives right into the day's first game.]

"In our first Northern Division game we have #1 Holy City hosting #3 T'ik FC. The match was rather unremarkable until the 79th minute, before then Holy City lead 1-0. At 79', however, T'ik FC was the administator of a quick 2 goals and Holy City fell with that score."

[highlights of the second Northern match roll, showcasing a spectacular duo of goals by Real Ruul's #9.]

"In our second match of the day, we had #6 Real Ruul hosting #8 Karvo FC. This match was clearly Ruul's game throughout, with two early goals from #9."

[commercials air again, and the camera pans into the third man's face as he shuffles his papers.]

"Apparently, Real Ravilo has the scoring thing down. Coming off of a 5-5 tie last match, the team scored 4 today in their shutout of rival T'aof. A wonderful match for Ravilo fans."

[the camera zooms to the last sportscaster, who looks seriously into the camera and begins.]

"And in our final match of the day, we have #5 T'kara FC hosting #7 Kolor Dynamo. This match was relatively straight forward, with the favored T'kara winning 1-0."

[the camera pans out yet again, facing all of the reporters. They talk quietly amongst themselves as the picture fades out.]
