OOC: First off, if you don't have decent grammar, don't bother signing up. Two, this is a MODERN-TECH level. No rail-guns, etc. Three, keep it real. Counter-terrorist operatives aren't going to be carting around katanas and other off-the-wall shit like that.
Alrighty, rant/disclaimer concluded.
The basic storyline will revolve around an embassy take-over, namely the American Embassy in modern-day Russia, by a former Red Army terrorist faction hell-bent on revenge for the Cold War. Unknown to the Americans, the cell is led by a mercenary, Mercutio Stillwater, under contract from a rogue CIA splinter-cell.
Playing as either one of Stillwater's henchmen, a counter-terror operative (NATO, American SOFD-Delta, Russian Spetznaz, or form a multi-national team with the other players...), a Marine that either escaped from the embassy or was taken hostage, or a civilian.
I'll feed info to the counter-terror team via an INTERPOL informant, provide possible entry points as an American tactical advisor, and then let the counter-terror folks take it from there, controlling the terrorists and Stillwater as they attempt to take him into custody.
Stillwater will escape in the chaos of a fierce gun-fight, possibly with one or two of his comrades, and the embassy will eventually be saved after a tense stand-off and furious shootout between the two sides.
It's open for five people, for a total of six including myself.
