(I'm going to need someone who wants to be 'the other guy' in this. ^.^ The Felucans live on resource-heavy, comfortable continent. They're not human. They're democratic. They were once a slave race. The Felucans also recently chased down the remanents of their former 'owners' and erradicated them. Pick whatever reason you want to start a war. ^.^ I'm going for story here, so I'm going to start the war off giving my opponent(s) the advantage.)

Northport Naval Base
Dawn was just touching the sky, the horizon ablaze with a crimson glow. It was another foggy, new day for New Feluca. Shipping traffic was thick a few miles out from the coastline as vessels plied the ocean to neighboring states, making deliveries and accepting cargo for transport back to New Feluca.

However, today would be different.

At her console in Northport's Command Center, a young petty officer tilted her head curiously at her computer screen. That was odd. A dozen ships that had been transmitting as civilian shipping had suddenly 'disappeared' briefly, the IFFs simply gone.

Petty Officer Wiles was a pretty young cougar female, happy to serve her country and follow in the footsteps of her father who had participated in the Liberation War from the humans. She was also quite new, however. So rather than speaking up immedietly she 'flipped' through the bands on her radar panel, overlaying the contacts picked up with RADAR versus IFF transmitters.

There. The fifteen ships were still there, but no longer transmitting an IFF. That was pretty odd. RADAR indicated they were steaming along the northern coastline about two hundred miles out and maintaining.

Central Command Defense
CCD was situated in the mountains in central Feluca, its powerful RADAR domes and satellite systems constantly on alert for threats to the nation. They were picking up odd contacts up north. Faint at the moment but growing stronger, a cluster of tiny contacts were detected skimming low above the ocean's surface. They disappeared a moment later as they seemed to pass over Northport.

Northport
The base was hazed over with smoke. Northport's RADAR complex was in ruins, its equipment shredded by five cruise missile strikes. Wounded and disoriented naval soldiers were still stumbling out of the ground floor, while overhead miles in the sky, white jet trails announced the presence of unfriendly visitors.

Several of Feluca's powerful Cyan class Guided Missile Destroyers were lighting off their sensors, but it was simply too late. Crews were rushing to stations only to experience the first wave of bombs falling.

Streams of 'dumb' conventional bombs splattered across the naval port, striking ships tied off to docks, and blasting away at buildings. To add to the effect, guided bombs and anti-ship missiles were also pouring down out of the sky.

One proud destroyer, Lola was struck directly in the VLS section, and the ship's rear seemed to disappear in an enormous fireball. Lola's tattered aft immedietly filled with sea water, and in the shallow docking area, the nose tilted slowly upward, and the ship began to sink rear-first.

Felucan Marines went up in their F-1 Hawks as quickly as they could and the few of them that managed to get off the ground encountered waves of enemy fighters escorting formations of bombers and strike aircraft. A vicious one-sided battle errupted, as the Felucans cut loose with their AIM-1 Fang missiles and AIM-2 Claws, only to be engaged by the enemy fighter aircraft. Felucan jets fell from the sky trailing behind them flames, while several enemy craft were also struck and followed suit.

The real chaos was occuring on the ground however, as dozens of Felucan destroyers were caught still tied off and their crews unaware.

Their RADARs down, the Felucans were blind to reply for the time being, and ground crews settled into some of the base's stationary AA guns and fired off tracer streams of 50 caliber and 30, 40 and 50mm flak into the sky hopelessly.

Central Command Defense
Electronic officers were manning their stations and a babble of voices reverberated throughout the bunker complex. Northport was being systematicly torn apart, while all CCD could do was watch via satellites and scanning.

Already swarms of F-1 Hawks were being launched all over the country, and ships were cutting loose from their docks and setting to sea with their RADARs ablaze, but it would be too late for Northport.

Northport
Destroyers were smoking, several either crippled or blatantly tilting to one side due to heavy damage. Meanwhile, a couple had managed to launch surface-to-air Sparrow SAMs from their VLS cells, and were beginning to take a toll on the attackers.

It was about that time though, when the attack pettered out and the invaders turned north again, returning to their ships for the journey back home.

Northport Naval Base was nearly in ruins. Eighteen of the Felucan destroyers were tilting to the side, or surrounded by oil slicks that spoke greatly of damage.

Buildings were on fire or collapsed, and the runways were pockmarked with bomb craters. Hundreds were dead and the docks cluttered with destroyed equipment.

Fire fighting teams rushed across the base in their fire engines, trying to localize the damage.

It was time to lick their wounds and investigate the downed enemy aicraft. It was only a matter of time until they found out who was behind this.
