World Cross Country League (Sign ups)

New-Lexington
29-04-2006, 23:35
Sign ups now open for the World Cross Country League. There will be a season of several meets (number of meets and season schedule TBD) followed by the WCCL championships. The countires will be divided into regions and will race those in their regions and have a region championship. Races will be 5000m and simulated by Runner's Calculator. It works by inputing a speed and stamina section (#'s 1-100) and then generates a time. (fastes possible 12:36). Sing up here and TG me to be a region leader. (Roster thread coming soon as well as a course thread)

This might just be interesting enough.
Go ahead and sign me up. And can you sign up my wife's nation as well - Dorian and Sonya. Our son is on a state champion CC team so this could be fun for both of us.

As far as team size, will it be the standard 9 with only the top 5 counting for team score, or will different numbers be used?

OOC- 7 works just fine. I just assumed 9 was the standard everywhere. Our boys are back to back champs with a solid shot for a 3peat next year. Have to wait and see.

Roster will be up soon. What kind of course info do you need? And will it be 5K, 8K, or 10K?
