Can anyone explain to me in detail the difference between the two? I find myself somewhat confused on the issue, and therefore unable to understand the significance of the rankings on my nation's page. Thanks for any help you can give!

Political Freedoms: Political Freedoms are rights that allow you to do something (for example, lets say eat cheese) without being politically persecuted.
Civil Rights: Civil Rights are rights that secure your basic rights (however you define that).
Some else please correct me if I am wrong.

sounds good to me. just a tack on, Political fredoms are usuly have to do with how much control over and pertetion from over the GOv't the standerd person has, Civil rights are peples saffty from thew Gov't and other people. i think.
