The Greater Prussian Empire is composed of two main sections so far, both of them having a slightly different set of rules, as is quoted below. This is done for the purpose of helping prospective members choose which of the sections they want to be member of.
The region of Greater Prussia is the heart of the Empire, in it holding the seat of Power. The charter of the GP and Burgundy region confers the same benefits as the FCA charter below - mutual defense, free trade and the protection of the Imperial Guard, as well as all rights and responsibilities granted and imposed in the Greater Prussian Law Code, found on the GP website.
Unlike Greater Prussia, the FCA is not a region - therefore, membership in any particular region is not a requirement to join, neither is religion. Even moderate socialists - i.e., democracies that still recognise private property, even despite high taxes/welfare. California and Alaska is an example of a nation that would be accepted - and was. The Emperor is the official ruler of all of the Empire, however, he never interferes in internal affairs of nation unless they threaten the stability of the Empire or request it.
However, one of the main differences between the Greater Prussian Empire and the other 'alliances' is that the Empire is a constantly active alliance, the nations constantly involved various projects together - not obligatory, but purely voluntary. The GPE not only funds a joint FT and PMT military, but also a wide spectrum of peaceful joint projects in the areas of diplomacy, trade, infrastructure rebuilding and space exploration [for the FT members]. This is our cure to the bane of all alliances -inactivity. We constantly keep up the interest of alliance members in the GPE, and thus maintain it living, alive, and kickin'.
Now fill out those recruitment forms, darnit!
[b]Admission Guidelines For the Greater Prussian Empire
1. All Applications shall be forwarded to one of the following persons of authority within the Empire. An application is to contain the answers to the following questions
a. What tech level are you?
b. Where is your nation located?
c. What is your government style?
d. Are you involved in any other major alliances? If so, name them and what they stand for.
e. If you answered "Yes" to Question D, how close are you to the alliances you listed? If you have a certain title or exalted status, list it here.
f. What specialty quality does your nation posess - why should the Empire accept you? Special ways in which the nation/player can benefit the Empire go here - in the case of the existing participants, it would be extensive design talents and IC industrial capacity of Zeppelin Manufacturers, Northrop-Grumman's expertise in maintaining jump gate/stargate networks, etc.
The Candidate should also submit sample links to his previous RP threads, to ease research on his RP quality and IC history.
Further it is possible that single 'test RP' post will be required of the member, on a subject suggested by one of the Approving Authorities as designated below, as the final benchmark for the nation's acceptance
based on writing quality. This will be only needed if the nation/player does not fail any of the other requirements.
2.The President of the Free Cities Alliance and the Arch Chancellor of Greater Prussia all have the authority to affirm new members, however in case of debate, the word of the Emperor is final. In the case of the Emperor's absense, the agreement of the Arch Chancellor and the President of the FCA, is necessary.
3. The Emperor retains the right to admit whomever he desires into the Empire. Nations invited into the Empire by the Emperor or on his explicit authority do not need to fill out this questionnaire.
4. At the moment, the current blacklist, those nations, etc, forbidden from entering the Empire, consists of:
Any METUS Nations
Any Reich Nations
Any DEN Nations
Any rabidly communist or socialist states
Any state that deliberately oppresses Christianity
However, as stated in Guideline Three, if the Emperor decrees it to be so, requirement number four can be waved.
