"You should make him take a break after all this crap is sorted out. We'll pray for him in the petitions. He then asked, "Why'd you decide to come?"
Prince John looked at where the call was coming from, knew what it was about, and didn't pick up. Normally, he'd go to a mass, but considering he has been in Reichskamphen a lot lately, he was becoming more conservative in his religious beliefs. He wasn't a Calvinist by any means; the idea of being a puppet was quite silly to him. However, something about Roman Catholicism turned him off, and he started to grow a distate for it, as his grandfather, Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov II had. John by no means hated Catholics, or Catholicism, he just wasn't that keen on sitting in on a mass. Well, the practice of exclusion from ceremony isn't exactly something I would like to indulge in at the moment. The Prince stood up from his desk and started pacing about. He was concerned, but not about the mass offer. It was different. Something was weird, strange. He couldn't place it, but there was...
"Ah, hell." He opened up a cabinet, pulled aside the false books and pouring himself a small bit of the cognac he had, sipping it, and just relaxing. I wonder what Xavier is doing right now?

Siri smiled warmly when Marco first spoke. “I should, but he can be a stubborn man when he wants to. It’ll take a lot of prodding to get him to take a vacation but I know what I can use to change his mind.” She chuckled for a moment then continued. “And thank you, Father, for the prayers.”
She settled back into the chair before deciding to answer his question. “Well, I decided to show up out of curiosity for the most part. But also because Roman Catholicism makes up sixteen percent of our population, and I’d like to know how they worship and understand it.”

Queen Mariah and Count Richard turned up, albeit a little late. Mariah apologised "Err, sorry for holding you guys up. I was just talking to my son on the phone and you know what women like me are like on the phone. You gotta talk to your kids a lot, even if they are a zillion miles away."

Marco decided not to respond to the prodding comment.. However, as to her curiosity he said, "That's good. At least some people arpund here decide to see what the church is about before calling us the Great Whore." He then turned to Mariah and smiled, "I wouldn't know I don't have kids."
Marco decided no others were attending, so he draped the chasuble over his head. Ready for mass, he stood to the right of the chairs, and whispered in John's ear to bring him the water and wine at the appropriate time, and to wash his hands at the appropriate time. He also asked Richard to read the first reading. (ooc:I'll telegramme you with the post.). He lit the cadles, and stood back, and intentionally leaving the door to the room open, he said, "Our opening hymn will be Glory and Praise."
Glory and praise to our God,
Who alone gives light to our days.
Many are the blessings He bears,
To those who trust in His ways.
Father Marco slowly walked in front of the makeshift altar. He stood, facing away from the people.
We the daughters and sons of Him,
Who built the valleys and plains.
Praise the wonders our God has done,
In every heart that sings.
Glory and praise to our God,
Who alone gives light to our days.
Many are the blessings He bears,
To those who trust in His ways.[/
Father Marco now walked behind the altar, and kissed the altar linen.
In His wisdom He strengthens us,
Like gold that's tested in fire.
Though the power of sin prevails,
Our God is there to save.
The sung the refrain once more, and then Father Marco began, "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." He crossed himself, and wwhen he heard the 'amens', he continued. "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." They responded, "And also with you."
"My brothers and sisters, to prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries, let us call to mind our sins."
They remained silent for a moment, remembering all their sins.
Marco then chanted, "Kyrie, eleison" The responded with the same. "Christe, eleison" The repeated the chant. "Kyrie, eleison." They again responded.
Father Marco then said, "Let us pray." He flipped to a page in the book and said, "Father, you are the source of all life. We as Christians gather here, together in your name. We ask for mercy and compassion in this time of triulation. We ask this through Christ our Lord." Amen
They sat down for the first reading.

OOC - Eziekel 12 right?
Count Richard stepped up for the first reading. It was strange doing this as there was usually a Bishop floating around in Jeruselem for these kind of occasions.
He started "I read from the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel, in the Old Testament."
...
The word of the LORD came to me:
Son of man, you live in the midst of a rebellious house;
they have eyes to see but do not see,
and ears to hear but do not hear,
for they are a rebellious house.
Now, son of man, during the day while they are looking on,
prepare your baggage as though for exile,
and again while they are looking on,
migrate from where you live to another place;
perhaps they will see that they are a rebellious house.
You shall bring out your baggage like an exile in the daytime
while they are looking on;
in the evening, again while they are looking on,
you shall go out like one of those driven into exile;
while they look on, dig a hole in the wall and pass through it;
while they look on, shoulder the burden and set out in the darkness;
cover your face that you may not see the land,
for I have made you a sign for the house of Israel.
I did as I was told.
During the day I brought out my baggage
as though it were that of an exile,
and at evening I dug a hole through the wall with my hand
and, while they looked on, set out in the darkness,
shouldering my burden.
Then, in the morning, the word of the LORD came to me:
Son of man, did not the house of Israel, that rebellious house,
ask you what you were doing?
Tell them: Thus says the Lord GOD:
This oracle concerns Jerusalem
and the whole house of Israel within it.
I am a sign for you:
as I have done, so shall it be done to them;
as captives they shall go into exile.
The prince who is among them shall shoulder his burden
and set out in darkness,
going through a hole he has dug out in the wall,
and covering his face lest he be seen by anyone.
The Word of the Lord
...
The audience responded "Thanks be to God in solemness"
...
Richard responded with Responsorial Psalm Ps 78:56-57, 58-59, 61-62
R. (see 7b) Do not forget the works of the Lord!
They tempted and rebelled against God the Most High,
and kept not his decrees.
They turned back and were faithless like their fathers;
they recoiled like a treacherous bow.
R. Do not forget the works of the Lord!
They angered him with their high places
and with their idols roused his jealousy.
God heard and was enraged
and utterly rejected Israel.
R. Do not forget the works of the Lord!
And he surrendered his strength into captivity,
his glory in the hands of the foe.
He abandoned his people to the sword
and was enraged against his inheritance.
Queen Mariah was rather suspicious why her husband (King of Judah and Israel in reality) was reading Ezekiel's prophecy about the fall of Judah. She did not want be reminded about the invasion of Babylonians. The Holy Land was only recently reformed as Jeruselem in 1948, as prophesied by Ezekiel.

Marco sat silently for a few moments, then chanted, "Alleluia, Alleluia, Praise the Word of Truth and Life." They mimicked him, and then moved to the altar, picked up the book, and bowed, saying the prayer silently to himself. He crossed himself, and, as their was no pulpit, placed the book on the altar, and read from there. "Alleluia, Alleluia, Praise the Word of truth and life."
"The Lord Be with you." And also with you. "A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew." Everyone crossed their foreheads, lips, and chest.
(Mt 18:21—19:10)
"Peter approached Jesus and asked him,
“Lord, if my brother sins against me,
how often must I forgive him?
As many as seven times?”
Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.
That is why the Kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king
who decided to settle accounts with his servants.
When he began the accounting,
a debtor was brought before him who owed him a huge amount.
Since he had no way of paying it back,
his master ordered him to be sold,
along with his wife, his children, and all his property,
in payment of the debt.
At that, the servant fell down, did him homage, and said,
‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back in full.’
Moved with compassion the master of that servant
let him go and forgave him the loan.
When that servant had left, he found one of his fellow servants
who owed him a much smaller amount.
He seized him and started to choke him, demanding,
‘Pay back what you owe.’
Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him,
‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’
But he refused.
Instead, he had the fellow servant put in prison
until he paid back the debt.
Now when his fellow servants saw what had happened,
they were deeply disturbed,
and went to their master and reported the whole affair.
His master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant!
I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to.
Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant,
as I had pity on you?’
Then in anger his master handed him over to the torturers
until he should pay back the whole debt.
So will my heavenly Father do to you,
unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.”
When Jesus finished these words, he left Galilee
and went to the district of Judea across the Jordan.
This is the Gospel of the Lord"

Father Marco closed the book, and moved to the front of the altar.
“I have not prepared a homily, and one is not required on a weekday, so I will give a few brief words. Forgive your fellow man as God forgives you. That sums up this gospel.”
Marco sat down, and as it wa sa weekday, the creed was not recited. He stood back up and said, “Together, with faithful hearts let us turn our prayers to God our Father. Please respond, ‘Lord hear our prayer’.
“For all Prussians, that peace may come to our land. We pray to the lord.”
Lord hear our prayer
“For our friend Jack, that he may be granted healing and strength. We pray to the lord.”
Lord hear our prayer
“For Alexei Andropov and his family, that they may be granted healing and repose. We pray to the lord.”
Lord hear our prayer
“For all your faithful servants, and for all that have died in these past few days, We pray to the lord.”
Lord hear our prayer
John did what he was supposed to at the altar, and Marco said,
Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation. Through your goodness we have this bread to offer, which earth has given and human hands have made. It will become for us the bread of life.
All: Blessed be God for ever.
Priest: Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation. Through your goodness we have this wine to offer, fruit of the vine and work of human hands. It will become our spiritual drink.
All: Blessed be God for ever.
Priest: Pray, brethren, that our sacrifice
may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands,
for the praise and glory of his name,
for our good, and the good of all his Church
Marco said the prayer over the gifts, and then the Eucharistic prayer. When he got to the consecration, he said,
“On the night he was betrayed, Jesus took the bread, broke it, gave thanks, and said, Take this all of you and eat it, for this is my body which will be given up for you.” Ed it high, then put it down, and genuflected. He picked up the chalice and said the words of consecration for that. When it came time to distribute communion, luckily, there was just enough, hosts and no extras.
After Mass
John Antonette invited everyone over to his room for a quick drink. He had the minibar all ready.
Ooc: Thanks to this website:

Life is mine to give and take--Death is my bailiwick. I freely go where angels dare not tread, and have danced blades with the demons that lurk in your darkest nightmares.
Xavier snapped his head up from the desk in the Star Office. I must have fallen asleep. Xavier shook it off and turned back to the computer.
Better to reign in Hell, then serve in Heav'n. Xavier smiled. John Milton, Paradise lost, Book one.
Damonagashi chuckled. Very good. It's true you know.
That's debatable. Damonagashi's grunt echoed in the Prince's mind.
That it is. But if you could rule in Heaven, so much the better. Xavier laughed to himself.
Indeed. Xavier went back to the computer, dealing with administrative crap that needed to be dealt with, when Damonagashi spoke again.
You will need to bury your father soon. Xavier was confused at this comment.
Why?
So you can go on your quest for ultimate power.
But I thought you could give it to me?
I can, but not right now. I am weaker than I should be, because of what your father did to me.
Oh. The day was fading fast, the final beams of sun glistening off of the Kremlin Cathedral, the light sinking below the horizon. Prince John walked up the ramp and sighed. Xavier chuckled.
"Long day?"
"Kinda." The Prince slipped to the area behind the desk, opening the door to the private quarters. "You should probably get some rest." Xavier nodded, standing up to follow him back.
"Yeah, I should."
OOC: Time warp to tomorrow coming my next post.
"Wait a minute, wait a minute doc, uh, are you telling me you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?"
"The way I see it, if you're going to build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style!"
After everyone went to bed, got up, did their morning routine and had breakfast, everyone reconvined in the Star Office. Everything was cleaned up from the assassination of Alexei by the Duke. The strange mass of energy was still at the top, though, allowing those curious enough to notice it.
The major players of the Dersconi Imperial Family were there, because of Alexei's funeral later that night. Veliky Knyaz Xavier Alexeitovich Tsarevich Andropov II was sitting in the same chair he did with the previous proceedings, still working on the same computer. Veliky Kynaz Ivan Rekjyavich was also back there, sitting in the chair Alexei did (when Alexei actually sat). Kynaz Elpidifor Bogachovich Andropov, the CEO of Andropov Petroleum and Beyond, Voyevoda of Prusso-Kiev, sat where the rest of the leaders will be sitting, on one of the couches. Kynaz-Hetman Tarakh Alexeitovich Andropov, Xavier's brother and General under Marshal Darii Razladanov, was sitting opposite his uncle, Kynaz Tatomir Boleslavich Andropov, the CEO of GPWASS and Governor-General of the Dersconi Haven Colonies.
None were speaking as the delegates filed in, taking their seats. They made no attempt to introduce themselves -- most weren't used to such things, even though they were technically Princes.
When they all took their seats, non-alchoholic drinks were served and Xavier got right to business.
"I apologize for being curt, but my father's funeral is later tonight, so I'd like to get this done before then." He moved to where he was better viewable and continued addressing the leaders.
"As of now, there is no viable heir to the Greater Prussian Throne. According to the Imperial Law Code, my father would have been, but he is no longer with us. While I am heir to the Dersconi throne, the Arch-chancellorship doesn't rest with the title of Dersconi Tsar, it just happened to have been held by them.
"Therefore, according to the Imperial Law Code, when no viable heir is elligable, the Estates General will conviene to elect one. You are the Estates General, this is why we are here.
"So, the floor is open. Nominate who you'd like."

As he leaned against the arm of the couch and clutched his forehead, Jack was definitely happy to see non-alcoholic drinks available as he was still suffering from the side effects of the previous day’s much stronger drinks. Normally, he wouldn’t have drunk so much but it was available and he was stressed. So he really didn’t count how many he had but from how he felt now, it was one too many. Beside him, clutching his hand, Siri seemed to have no ill effects considering the numerous glasses of vodka that she drank and remained in a rather brightened mood considering it was the morning.
When Xavier opened the floor for nominations, the couple leaned over to one another and conversed quietly for a moment about who they wanted because in order for the Corporation to make a recommendation or approve a decision, both the Chairman and Chairwoman would have to agree or unless one defers to the other according to corporate law as they jointly owned the stock.
After nodding their heads in agreement a few times, Jack was the one who spoke up for the both of them with a slight groan of pain. But this time he kept things to a point and tried not to ramble. Talking only made his head hurt worse. “My wife and I have come to an agreement. Based on our observations of his exceptional handling of matters here in Derscon and in Reichskamphen, we nominate Xavier Andropov to the Throne of Greater Prussia.”

Antonette and Marco walkde confidently into the room.
Antonette, today, wore a perfectly pressed, pale blue uniform, slightly paler than his eyes, with the crown as his insignia. His soft leather shoes contrasted sharply with the shining metal on other parts of the uniform. Marco, on the other hand, wore a clerical suit, with a detachable collar.
John Antonette thoguht for a few moments before answering, "I concur with the Northrop delegation. Kynaz Xavier has shown enourmous leadership skills, especially in the shadow of his father's death." Veliky Kynaz Xavier smiled and nodded to Antonette and Jack. "Thank you for your nominations."
When the Shogun nominated Veliky Kynaz Ivan, Xavier knew why, but simply nodded towards him, not showing distaste. John, however, smiled and shook his head.

"Well, then, are there any other nominations? If not, then there is no need for voting, as Xavier would win by default."

Objection.
Xavier is very unstable and is not fit to rule.
Xavier glared at President Server, and Prince John looked insulted that the President would insult his nephew in his own home.
"And what evidence, Mr. Server, do you have for that?" Prince John was not one to get angry, but it was clear that such an insult to his family was one of those few things that would make him angry.
The Praetorian Guard in the back got a little nervous, and clutched their weaponry a bit tighter. Corneliu and Formal Dances always started fights because of their blatant disrespect for all Imperial customs -- both Prussian and Dersconi -- and with so many deaths, any and all disturbances were to be quelled before they began.

Kenshin stood. "Though President Server is addressing this in perhaps the wrong way, I too agree with his objections. Xavier, you are quick to anger, rarely listen to those around you, and quite frankly, I suspect that you may have had a hand in some of the proceedings involving the aftermath of the Reichskamphen incidents. Did you expect that your frequent use of the computer during earlier meetings went unnoticed?
"I do not feel whatsoever that the Empire would do at all well if it were placed under your control for any amount of time. Especially now that you would become, in all likelyhood, Emperor of Greater Prussia.
"The rest of you in this room," he said addressing the others, "may have no clue why I would suddenly begin to decide that Xavier is unfit and should not be elected. I expected this, and in fact believed that no one would believe me if I spoke much more of the situation. It is too much of a stretch for you to believe me if I did say it. However, Xavier is a man that cannot be allowed to assume the throne of the Empire.
"I fear that once in power, he will greatly abuse it to his own personal interest. Xavier, you are power-hungry, and there is no way around that. The power of Greater Prussian Emperor may not be enough for you. I whole-heartedly feel that you will seek to directly control every nation in Greater Prussia, and perhaps those outside as well."
He sighed and looked around him. "I know most of you will probably not listen to me anyway. I come from a secluded nation that has odd, sometimes barbaric customs. But I ask you to listen and trust me when I say, 'Xavier cannot be allowed to rule'."

Glaring at Kenshin, Siri shook her head and replied sarcastically. “That certainly is an impressive argument you have made, dear Shogun. First, you have no proof that there was any wrong-doing involving his use of the computer. Who really knows what was keeping him occupied. He may very well have been checking communications coming in or news reports…you just don’t know. So do not make accusations unless you have hard proof to back them up.”
“Second, you say you have another reason why he shouldn’t assume the throne, but yet you will not reveal it. How would you expect to influence our vote if you won’t actually tell us? I, for one, will not just accept your word for it since I barely know you and your true intentions. That is the price you will have to pay for your shortsightedness.”
“Then, you say that he rarely listens to those around him…When?...Tell me when he has done this.” She huffed and continued. “Also you say that he is quick to anger. What I do see is someone who has deep feelings for his nation and the Empire. I have not seen him angry for illogical reasons. Even when we were in the Grande Hall, he remained calm and collected.”
Siri stopped for a moment as she took a deep breath. Others would assume that she was done with what needed to be said but as a matter of fact, she wasn’t. She stood up and pointed directly at President Server. “And you…you have been nothing but an instigator to this meeting since the beginning, seeking to disrupt it in any way possible. You have sat there, insulting others in this room and even accusing those attending without substantial evidence. Perhaps you should start acting like a true Jedi and show some damned restraint by sitting the hell down and thinking about things before you speak.”
Prince John glared up at Server, his eyes glowing red. No one in the room has ever seen the Prince's eyes glow red. In fact, no one has ever seen the Prince's supernatural powers -- most didn't even know Prince John had them. It showed his strength, in that no one detected the energy coming from John -- he could cover it up completely and entirely. However, he closed his eyes, took in a deep breath, exhaled, and re-opened his eyes, losing the glow, but not his biting spite. His voice sounded almost like Agent Smith from The Matrix.
"Well, Mr. Server, I don't recall a single moment when Xavier insulted our allies 'regardless of who they are.' In fact, the only person I recall starting such insult wars are you and your virtual puppet-state over there, Formal Dances." He practically spat out the name of the once respected-now-exiled Prussian. "If anything, I believe Xavier has shown great restraint in not ejecting both of you from the Greater Prussian Empire and escorting you to the door."
The Dersconis listened to the Shogun make his speech, some angry, some indifferent, some laughing inside. Xavier, however, was staring with cold eyes when he finished.
He didn't get a chance to respond, however, as Siri beat him to it. Xavier's face was cold, but his eyes laughed at the site. Xavier looked up at Siri. Thank you, was the short telepathic message. I'm glad I can count on someone.
"Indeed," Veliky Kynaz Ivan Rekjyavich stated after Siri's rebuttal. His tone was much more respectful to the Shogun, however, as the Dersconi nobility had respect for PsiPsoians, and John and the Shogun were decent friends. "I do hope you have more than baseless accusations. I know you, Shogun Kenshin, you're better than that. Why are you simply echoing the baseless accusations of Server?"

Kenshin sighed and whispered to himself, I'm backed into a freaking corner, damnit. "Fine, I shall say what I did not. All of my other points were just pitiful attempts at concealing what none of you will likely believe. This is about not just Xavier, but about Alexi as well. Most of you, if not all, will write this off as a fairy tale concieved of by some crackpot, but I urge you to listen, and that it is not.
"Years ago, while Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov III was still Czar of Derscon, a terrible evil was unleashed upon the world in the form of an undead army. Mages of Kaymiril, and others, dealt with this force. However, what had unleased the undead battled with Czar Andropov. This was the Dragon King, more specifically, a demon known as Daemongashi. Before Czar Andropov was defeated, I had fought my way into the arena where they battled and exchanged blows with Dameongashi myself. But, my efforts were for naught, and Damenogashi killed the Czar.
"Czar Andropov had not, however, died in vain, having robbed Daemongashi of his power. The weakend Dragon King took refuge inside young Alexi's body. To Alexi's credit, he used his own power to hold the demon in submission inside his body until his recent death. Without anything to hold him back, Daemongashi has escaped. I believe, that having noticed Xavier's power-hungry attitude, Daemongashi choose him to reside in next. Now, Daemongashi has fused his own soul with that of Xavier. While it may not be Xavier who is especially dangerous, it is Daemongashi, who will undoubtedly lie and manipulate Xavier to restore himself to full power, that must be stopped.
"I don't expect you to believe me, as this must sound like a fairy tale to you all. But it is not, and the danger is immenent and grave. You can ask me for proof, but the only proof I have is the scars on my back from fighting him. He is responsible for 80% of them. On my honor as Shogun of Pschycotic Pschycos, and as a samurai, this tale is true, the danger real." He sat back down, in a fairly bad mood now from reliving the events and glared back at Prince John. You should realize all of this, He said telepatheically. You were there, after all. Can you not see it?

Well, now that there is a quasi-election going on, you insult the candidate! How is he mentally unstable?" He drew his sword, the sound of metal against metal echoing throughout the room. He pointed it at the Shogun, to make a point, in a non-threatening manner.
He then turned to the Shogun "I respect you, as a fellow monarch. However, we need some proof of your accusation. Attempting to publically humilate someone who's father has just been murdered is no way to show proof. I thought you of all people would have more respect for the Tsar's son." He was not angry at the Shogun (he was angry at Server), however, his eyes showed a disappointment.

Kenshin stood and pulled down the top of his kimono to his waist, exposing a heavily scared chest. He turned around to show a back that almost didn't appear human. Nasty, verticle gouges ran down his back, covering up obviously earlier scars. "You can check with any medical official. The only way to acquire these scars is to have your back ran along a hard, corse surface. These would require that I was shot out of a military grade cannon. As that is not possible, it only leaves the explanation that I suffered them after having been tossed from the battlefield by Daemongashi, which I was, in fact for over a mile."

Father Marco wisely said nothing, as it was not his place.
Antoentte, however, jumped up to his feet, "How dare you both! You insult Xaiver, who is only 19, and whos Father just died! Have you no respect for him or his Father's memory?" His normally soft blue eyes were colder than the ice frozen around Antarctica! Xavier keeps his anger under control! When has he ever had an outburst, besides the occasional one we all have?" He took a step in Server's direction, "And you, you democratic peice of shit! You keep your mouth shut almsot the whole time! You advocated democracy earlier! Well, now that there is a quasi-election going on, you insult the candidate! How is he mentally unstable?" He drew his sword, the sound of metal against metal echoing throughout the room. He pointed it at the Shogun, to make a point, in a non-threatening manner.
"I suggest you check your facts again Antonette. We are not a democratic Society. My post is hereditary. I make all final decisions for war, foreign policy, domestic policy, economics, and peace. Our parliment has very little power and can only make recommendations. You are aiming your anger at the wrong person. If you want a democratic tool to yell at, yell at your former fiance's nation. I also advise you to keep a civil tongue when dealing with me. I do not take kindly to threats nor orders. I do not answer to you. I only answer to God and His most holy Son.
"As to Xavier's mental state, the way he treats his family is a good start. He has no respect for his mother which violates one of the ten commandments. I guess no one really cares about them now do they? After all, they were only written thousands of years ago. Who believes that book anymore? If this nation is as religious as Alexie has told me it is, why have someone who disobeys one of the key commandments in power? He is most definitely quick to anger and that is not good for a true leader is not quick to anger. A true leader keeps his anger in check even if someone says something that they disagree with. Throwing people in dungeons for even thinking about disagreement is not a mark of a true leader."

And chancellor mtoo, but thats besides the point." He then rolled his eyes at Server once againt aknig the moral high road, "Please, President Server, do not start talking religion again. You have also thrown yet another false charge out, that Xavier disrespects his mother. Yes, yesterday he did side with his Father agaisnt her, yet he ahd to make a choice. Yes a woman is supposed to submit but that does not mean she is her husband's slave. Behind every good husband is a good woman. A woman is supposed to be the key to any family for she literally makes sure it is runned smoothly. Making sure that the kids are off to school on time! Making sure homework is done. She runs the house. The husband just brings home the money and makes the decisions but a wise man talks with his wife before making any decisions that affect the family has a whole. His decision is law in the house. As to Xavier showing respect for his mother, that is contemptable. I see it in his eyes everytime he deals with her. One can learn alot from body language. Right now, I can tell that you are agitated because I dare question you Antonette. I bet no one ever questions your judgment at all. I have had the upmost respect for Alexei and I morn his death. When I return home, the flags will be flown at half mast for three months in his honor. Xavier's eyes flash red and he gets angry anytime his mother's name is mentioned or that of her birth nation. Even dictatorships have to deal with democracies on occassion and since we have a democracy in Greater Prussia, he has to accept that fact and deal with it. If he does not then it shows contempt, not only for an ally but for his mother as well. Hence, he does not honor his mother by honoring her birth nation."

"You on the other hand, I do not like. You are a pompus arrogant ass who knows nothing of politics. As to Formal Dances being boring, I happen to know from my ambassador there as well as from our consulets that it is anything but boring with roaring beaches that are good enough to surf to gambling. They have wonderful sports programs ranging from Tennis to Football to soccer and to rugby. They even have boxing tournaments there as well. Boring? I guess you never seen a real true live debate have you? They actually have debating teams and when one of those debates heats up, its a no hold bar verbal slugfest. Only thing that is boring about that place is its congress. No fights there. Boring? All I can do is laugh at that. In fact, I am planning a trip there in a few weeks to see it for myself."
He then looked over at Siri. "Sorry but the proper response to that would be to hit you and chivelry prohibits such an action. I will say this. In the midst of all of this, Prince John leaned over and whispered something in Xavier's ear. Xavier glanced over and shook his head, but Prince John said something else inaudiable, and Xavier, after a few seconds, nodded in agreement. The Tsarevich and potential Emperor stood up and went back into the Royal Quarters, excusing himself from the meeting.
Prince John, while they were all fighting, was fiddling with the security console.
However, when the shit hit the fan, the Prince jumped to his feet. The Praetorian Guard immediately surrounded Antonette, Server, and the Shogun, weapons raised, pointed mostly at Server, but that's not to say there weren't a few pointed at the others.
When things calmed down, the Praetorian still had their weapons raised. When Prince John nodded, the Praetorian split up, half blocking view of the Dersconis, half surrounding Server.
"Server, I must say, your sucking up is too little, too late. I say you have the throwing your weight around down. However, what you don't have down is when to use it. Alexei would not approve of you throwing me out of this room. He and I had an understanding. Antonette stared at the closed ramp, before looking back at Prince John. He locked his eyes with his friend's. They were softer than usual now, expressing his sorrow. Even when Antonette only added fuel to something, and not caused it, he still felt enourmous guilt when it involved his family or friends when it didn't have to. He sipped his drink, and, very uncharacteristically, broke eye contact.
Prince John bit his tongue at the insult against his religion, knowing that it was not the time or place for such an argument. He also didn't respond to Server's response to Alexei having something better to do, as he didn't have to -- if he tried to contact Alexei, Alexei wouldn't be interested.
The Honor Guards did not break formation and continued to encircle and escort the Servers back, as the guards of the Kremlin take orders from no one but the Royal Family. However, there was no way of communicating a break-off order, so the Guards stuck with them. Plus, they were to guard the quarters to ensure they stayed in them.
When the ramp was shut and closed, he slumped into his chair, putting his face in his hands. "Jesus Christ...." John smashed his fist into his desk and looked at the rest of the Prussians, a tired and depressed look on his face.
"You are dismissed back to your quarters, I have a funeral for my brother to plan." He then walked slowly out of the Star Office and into the private quarters for the Royal Family.
When inside the sector, he walked down the hallway to his Master bedroom, entered it, and just flopped down onto the bed. Rolling over, he picked up the notebook he was using to plan the funeral, staring up into the ceiling and holding the notebook up with it. The Prince sighed and dropped the notebook, simply staring at the ceiling.

When he got there, Antonette poured himself a glass of whiskey, and downed the whole thing. "Goddamnit!" he screamed. He poured hismelf a smaller shot, and downed that. He picked up the phone, and dialed Prince John's nuber. He elt it ring until a machine picked up (Okayed by Derscon). He sighed, and when it was time to speak he said, "John? Its John aswell. He sighed once more, "Again, I'm sorry. Hopefully, I will see you later." He hung up, and cursed himself.
Prince John looked over at the phone, listening to his friend's message. He chuckled a bit, picking up the phone, dialing Antonette's room. After a few rings....
"Hello?" The Prince smirked and did his best Irish accent.
"What the hell do you think you were tryin' to do, lad! You fecking tore Server a new arsehole! You got balls, lad. I'll take you up on those drinks." An empty glass of Baliey's Irish Creme sat on the nightstand. It seems that when he's in emotional moods, the liver doesn't work as well...

"Nowhere." John immediately hung up the phone and ran down towards his room.
On the way, he accidentally ran into Katrina. He helped her up, chuckling. "Whoops! Sorry about that." Katrina brushed herself off and giggled.
"Where are you rushing to?" John had a sly grin on his face.
"Your boyfriend's place. Wanna tag along?" Katrina looked kind of weary, but John picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. "Of course you do! Come along, now."
John finally made it to Antonette's room, not bothering to knock, just barging right in.
"Hiya, John! I brought a present." He tossed Katrina onto John's bed and sat down. Katrina screamed a bit as she bounced onto the bed, but giggled as she kept bouncing. However, she squealled when she bounced off the bed on the other side, landing with a soft thud. She was practically sitting on the side of the bed, her back against the floor, sitting against the side of the bed, her knees bent at the edge of the bed, her lower legs and feet still on the top of the bed. She giggled and flopped her arms down beside her.
"Any help?" Prince John smirked, pulling out a feather. He snuck up onto the bed and brushed the feather against her foot, getting her to spaz out and squeal. John laughed and looked over the bed to see Katrina curled up in a ball. He tossed the feather and sat down again.

He did not let go of her left hand, however, which he clutched tight with both of his. He whispered in her ear, in a stage whisper, "I got him a drink so he'd be distracted so we would have a couple of seconds alone." He again attacked ehr with kisses, and she fell onto her back. He ran his figners through her hair, and then propped himself up, still laying down, on his elbow, head resting in his hand, admiring her delicately carved face and her soft brown eyes. It was obvious the sorrow from earlier had been taken completly by pure adoration and love.

Kenshin stood and left, walking to his room. "To hell with mediation, I need some sleep." In preparing for a fight, he had used huge sums of energy. Without anyway to release it and recharge, it had just left him tapped. Indeed, he fell to the floor snoring feet outside of the office.

Kathy was in her room and looks around. She then sighs and gets out a suitcase and begins to pack knowing that soon she will be leaving to head back home.
Down the ramp, out the door of the secretary's office, and out into the Imperial Hall, several Honour Guards lifted Kenshin onto their shoulders and carried him back to his chambers to rest.
In Antonette's room, the Prince lost himself in his drink, swirling the cup, staring into the eye of the whirlpool he made. He bit his lip a second, and stood up, turning to John.
"I hate to leave so quickly, but I really do need to plan Alexei's funeral. Thank you for the drink, and no grudge shall be carried." With that, Prince John left Antonette's room, back to the Private Quarters.
When the Prince walked into the Star Office, he saw Xavier at the computer. "Hey." Xavier looked up and nodded.
"Hey. Thanks." The Prince nodded and walked to the section behind the desk.
"No problem."

Katrina closed her eyes and wrapped her hands around John's neck as he kissed her, taking it all in. She giggled a little when John "attacked" her with his kisses. When she heard Prince John shut the door, Katrina rolled under Antonette and threw him up onto the bed, jumping on top of him. She locked her lips with his, closing her eyes once more, her arms going under Antonette's back, her fingers dancing down his spine, and up again, digging into his shoulders. Katrina let go of the kiss and smiled, her arms wrapping tightly around Antonette, tucking her head in with John's. She rolled over, so John was on top of her, and leaned up to kiss him.
"It seems he left entirely."

Glancing quickly over to the now closed bathroom door where his wife was showering, Jack gently picked up the telephone receiver and dialed the Star Office, hoping that Prince John would answer. When the other side stopped ringing and picked up, he spoke, “Hey, John, it’s Jack….you remember offering Siri some of that Peca that you had earlier? I was wondering if you could please send some of it down for her to enjoy while we’re here…alone.” One could almost hear him grinning through the phone. “You get the picture.”

Antonette said good bye to John, and waited for Katrina's counter attack.
When she commenced, he just let himself be led along. When she was finished, he sighed, "Woah." Antonette kissed her back softly, the eerie calm after the battle. "All the better for us." He kissed her again, his tounge exploring her mouth, learning everything it could about her mouth." After he withdrew, he collapsed next to her, holding her tight. He did not speak, however, rubbed her stomach gently. He withdrew his hand, and loosened his shirt, and belt, though keeping both on.
He began to kiss the back of her neck again, and gradually moved to the front, before locking his lips with her's, yet again, and looking into her eyes once more. How they first met, and all she had told him about herself flashed through his mind. He broke out laughing, and then, when he was worn out, collapsed on his side, and pulled her close, hugging her tight and gripping her hands. He drifted off to sleep, peacefully.
Katrina took all of John's actions in, submitting to his exploration. She couldn't really think much about it, as it was more of an emotional moment, a sensory one, not a moment of logic and cold reason. When John held her, she snuggled up to him, smiling. When he rubbed her stomach, though, she began giggling uncontrollably, squirming all around, but trapped by John's hold. She didn't mind it -- enjoyed it, really -- and gleefully submitted.
John finally stopped, and begain kissing her again, allowing her to catch her breath. When he finally held her tight, falling asleep, Katrina yawned, snuggled up to King Antonette, and drifted off, smiling.

Prince John listened to Jack and laughed. "I do indeed get the picture, I'll bring some down." He hung up the phone and grabbed a container of Peca, running out of his room to the Guest Hall.
On his way there, he met Count Papen. "Heya, Countie!" Franz chuckled and nodded to the Prince.
"Hi, John. Where are you off to in such a hurry?" John smirked.
"Jack wants to 'enjoy the company' of his elven wife, so I'm delivering Peca." Franz laughed.
"Okay. Have you seen Katrina?" John nodded.
"Oh, yeah. He's with Antonette at the moment." Franz rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Big surprise. I'll follow you, I suppose."
They finally made it to the Guest Hall, John walking towards Jack's door, Franz toward Antonette's.
John tapped on the door, it being answered by Jack. Prince John grinned and handed it over.
"Here you are, sir. Enjoy your night, and do try not to break anything."
Count Franz von Papen tapped lightly on Antonette's door, and hearing no response, opened it. "Hello?" He walked in to an empty room, looking around a bit. He saw the door to the bedroom open a tad and walked in.
Franz choked a bit, biting his knuckle so as to not make a sound, and quietly shut the door, walking through the living room, and back out the door to the hallway. Prince John walked by, seeing Franz's reaction.
"Catholic sex machine?" Franz sighed heavily and made a strange face.
"No, but they were in the same bed together. I tell you, if he doesn't propose, he's a dead man." John laughed as they walked out of the Guest Hall.
"I can imagine you're not lying."

Antonette stirred, and opened an eye. He glanced up at the door, and noticed it was closed. He jumped up, and said to himself, outloud, "This door is closed!" He did not realise he ahd drifted to sleep, and looked over at Katrina, peacefully sleeping. He attached his scabbard, and picked his sword up in his right hand. He forgot, however, to smoothe hiss hrit and tuck it back in, as it was half stickout out. He burst into the hallway and yelled, "Who the hell went into my room?"
The Honour Guards in the hallway connecting the suites of the Guest Hall looked over at King Antonette in his frenzy. Understanding he was currently mentally unstable, and armed, they immediately knocked him to the ground and pinned him there, their staves pointed at John. They didn't bother to tell anyone about it, though, as they were used to John being drunk. They held him down and one of them injected a tranquilizer into the King. Once he passed out, they took him back to his bed, placing him beside Katrina, and walked out to their positions.

“We’ll try not to, John,” he chuckled as he took the bottle of Peca into his hand. “You have a good night.”
Gently shutting the door behind him, Jack moseyed over to the nightstand beside the bed and poured a portion of the Peca into a glass. It was small though as he didn’t want to overdo things considering the strength of the drink and that he and his wife only had a few hours available to each other tonight. Screwing the cap back on, he put the bottle away in the drawer and awaited his wife.
With a creak of the opening bathroom door, a freshly-showered Siri walked out into the main room wearing nothing but a bathrobe wrapped around her, fastened closed by a mere fabric belt tied around her waist. A smile came across her face when she saw her husband standing before her, grinning.
“You look especially beautiful tonight, honey.” Jack picked up the glass and handed it to her. “I managed to get a hold of something for you while you were in the shower.”
“Is that…” she asked as her eyes lit up.
“Yes, it is.”
After drinking the contents of the glass, she rested it back down onto the nightstand, while her husband drew ever closer. Gazing up into his eyes, she brought her head up to his and began to kiss him passionately while her arms wrapped around his neck. His hands moved to her waist where he undid her belt, sliding them in between the two sides of her robe and onto her hips. They continued kissing for a while as Jack began moved to her neck. But the Peca began to have an effect upon her, and with a wild expression appearing on her face, Siri pushed him onto the soft bed before pouncing upon him…
Unfortunately, for everyone in the guestrooms surrounding the couple’s, this would be rather loud and noisy all throughout the night.

John Antonette could not hear anything, as the drug the guards injected would keep him out until morning. Father Marco on the other hands, a half hour earlier, had slammed his laptop shut in frustration at the distraction from his work, and could not get to sleep since. He jumped up, pulled his bathrobe on, which was a solid navy blue, with red embroidered lettering on the upper left hand side that said, "Father Marco", a gift from the Archdiocesan Retreat Center. He put his tan slippers on, and stormed into the hallway. He pounded on Jack and Siri's door, and waited. His hair was messed up and his eyes tired, but he was very much functioning normally.

The racket that seemed to seep through the walls of the Guest Hall stopped fairly quickly when Father Marco pounded on the door. Where he stood, it would be easy to hear the now comprehensible voices inside with the first being Jack’s.
“Whoa! Stop! Someone’s beating on the door. I’ll be back in a sec.”
A near animalistic female voice growled, “I’ll hold you to that.”
The front door of the guestroom opened partially with Jack peering his head around the edge, masking the rest of his body and much of the room. His face was very sweaty, and his hair was also ruffled like Marco’s but more damp. Examining the priest’s appearance, he knew exactly why he was here.
Jack paused a moment, trying to catch his breath before he spoke, “Oh…erm…hi, Father. Sorry about…” The rest of the apology was cut off by a feminine voice yelling, “Time’s up!”
Out of nowhere, he fell to the carpeting with a “Whoaa!” when his wife tackled him. The upper halves of their unclothed bodies were briefly visible before Siri slammed the door shut with her leg rather rudely…and once again, the loud noises began.

Rustling was heard throughout the room followed by the door opening. There a beautiful female elf stood fully unclothed before the priest, staring at him with her reddening eyes as all her teeth were displayed to him much like some lion. What Father Marco didn’t realize was that once she had had some of this Peca, all logical reasoning would be lost and she wouldn’t care about such things as modesty.
She shoved a flask at his chest with her sweaty hand and growled, “Here! Whiskey! It should help you sleep. Bother us no more.” And the door slammed.

Father Marco glared at the door, and opened it himself. Not looking in, he screamed, "Have your fecking whiskey back!" He threw it into the room, slammed the door, and burst into Antonette's room. He did not trust Siri's whiskey, so made use of Antonette's. He saw the bedroom closed, and opened the door. Seeing Antonette sleeping peacefully, he thoguht. That must be who the guards sedated earlier. Lucky bastard. He saw that they were fully clothed, and stalked off, back to his own room. He downed the whiskey, and tried to fall asleep. When he still could not, he stared up all night. He would not be in a good mood the next morning.

The early morning sun crept up above the horizon, casting its bright light through the windows of Jack and Siri’s guestroom, which now seemed to be a mess. Pillows, sheets, and quilts were strewn from the bed, which now appeared to have been slid entirely across the room. Clothes were in piles here and there, lamps were knocked over, pictures were tilting to one side, chairs were on their sides, and cabinets were slid into odd places. But even throughout this mess, nothing was broken except for a flask of whiskey that Father Marco tossed onto the floor.
Resting quietly with his back against the wall sat Jack, gazing out at the sunrise while his lovely wife lay on his chest. One of the bed sheets was snuggly wrapped around them both as they cuddled. Feeling her move a little, he glanced down at her and gently rubbed his hand up and down her smooth back as he smiled.
She gazed up at him with her soft green eyes and asked, “How do you feel, my love?”
“Never felt better,” came the reply as he brought her nearer to him and lightly kissed her on the mouth. “I love you.”
Siri smiled and hugged him, “I love you, too.”
The two would sit there for a little while longer, enjoying each others company as they watched the sun rise over the land. It was rare for them to experience this kind of serene atmosphere. So they both sought to experience this time together for as long as they could.

Antonette began to stir quietly. How long have I been asleep? he thought to himself. He looked at Katrina and smiled, then thought, Oh, shit, wha tabout when her Father finds out? He kissed her on the cheek, and quielty got ready for the day. Today he wore a perfectly pressed black suit, instead of a white unform, because of Alexei's death.
He looked in at Katrina, and leaned agaisnt the doorway, admiring her.

Father Marco was also getting ready for the day. he, however,, was not in a serene mood. Today, dressed in a regular clerical suit, he was in a worse mood than a Mafia boss who's tribute had steadily fallen to none at all. He pulled a chair into the hallway, and sat, waiting for Jack to emerge.

By the time the others had arisen from their sleep, the Grummian couple had showered together and cleaned one another up after their rather long night of activity. Afterwards, Jack once again donned his usual dark blue Air Force uniform with the service cap tucked under his arm, and his wife wore her elven ceremonial gear from the previous day. The two left their room fairly early and stepped out into the Guest Hall hand-in-hand but Jack froze when he saw Father Marco sitting in a chair waiting for him with the most terrible expression on his face.
“Oh, shit,” Jack replied, putting his hand on his forehead when he remembered what had happened that night.
“What? What’s wrong?” Siri asked turning towards him, between her husband and the priest and placing her hands on his shoulders. “Did I pull a muscle on you last night or something?”
Jack looked over her shoulder and flatly replied, “No.”
In the hallway, the Honour Guards shifted their eyes, scanning the emerging scene. One of them let out a sigh, a couple tightening their grips on their staves. They were hoping they wouldn't have to sedate another rowdy group, but, if they had to, they were 8'6'' and heavily armoured.
The hallway was large, about 10 metres wide. They positioned themselves in a way that they would be able to stop the fight quickly and subdue them. Most of the guards were positioned to stop Siri, and they all had sedating drugs on them, so they'd all be injected in order to subdue the elf. All of these movements were sublime, however, and unnoticable. The Honour Guard responsible for this section made a mental note to suggest to the Kremlin Keeper to rearrange the assigning of the rooms, keeping Cherry Ridge and Northrop-Grumman separated.

Father Marco rose, an evil grin on his face. He yelled, "Jack!" and pointed at him. He approached slowly, and stood next to them, growling at them, "I did not get one wink of sleep last night because of you too." He eyed Jack, "Not one second! You had no regard for anyone else! I have had very little sleep lately!" He then turned to Siri, "And you! You answer the door fully naked, and then slam it in my face!"
Antonette heard the noise, and walked out, his sword danglnig from his side. "What's wrong, Father?" Marco turned to him, "Jack and Siri here kept me up all night with their play! It was not the act I mind, but the complete disregard of others!"
Antonette slid a container of caffiene tablets into Marco's hands, and helped him to his room, until he had to come out. Antonette then reemerged, and said, "I am terribly sorry, Jack, and Siri." He sighed, and went back into his room. When Katrina woke up, and got ready, and emerged into the living room. John smiled, and walked over to her. He pressed her lips agaisnt his and said, "Good Morning." He looked at her and said, "Yes, its morning. I wonder what your father will say when he finds out you spent the night."
Katrina kissed him back and sighed heavily. "I don't want to know what he'll think."

The Andropovs were wide awake, having awoken before the others, showered, dressed, and eating breakfast, finally meeting again in the Star Office. No one was behind the desk this time, and none of them were in formal attire. That won't come until the funeral was about ready. Xavier was rolling a gold piece up and down his knuckles, John was reviewing his plans for the funeral, and the rest were chatting. Tarakh looked over at Ivan.
"I'm assuming that security is taken care of?"
"Yes."
"Good." There wasn't much more discussion, until a strange cloaked figure walked up the ramp. Most of the Andropovs raised an eyebrow to it, but John knew what it was. John followed him back down the ramp to the secretary's office. They knew no one would walk in on them, as the Imperial Palace was closed off to everyone at the moment, and wouldn't be opened for a bit.
"You know, then?" The Prince nodded at the figure.
"Yes, I do." A slight nod was visible.
"Good. You must aid him, even though it seems wrong."
"I know."
"Excellent. I shall be in contact with you shortly." With that, the cloaked figure dissipated into the foundations of the Palace. He was capable of using his powers in here because of his nature, and the nature of the Palace. Only his kind could. Basic telekinetcs were, of course, possible, but only that. The Andropov family, however, was part of their kind, so were able to use their powers to their fullest strength, leaving a great unbalance of power during meetings. Which was, of course, the Palace's designer's intent.
Prince John walked back up the ramp, getting strange looks.
"Who was that?" Prince John shook his head.

Siri’s mouth dropped in disbelief when the priest made the accusation. As far she could remember, she had never done such a thing. But then again, all she could remember was that her and Jack had an extremely great time. Had she really been that immodest and rude?
After Marco had left, she snapped her head back to her husband. “Did I really do that, Jack?!” the elf in shock. “I really don’t remember it…”
His eyes shifted up and down the hall before he answered. “Pretty much. You…erm…tackled me the first time the Father knocked on the door, then the second time, you answered…nude…and shoved a whiskey flask at him…and slammed the door.”
Siri’s eyes widened. “No wonder he’s pissed.” She noticed that Jack was beginning to walk down the hall. “Where are you going?”
He sighed. “To see if I can fix things before the meeting starts.”
“Well, I’m going with you.”
A short time later, they arrived at Father Marco’s door and just stood there together looking at it. Neither truly wanted to enter and anger the man once more, so Jack stood to one side and Siri to the other as he rapped on the door one…two…three times.
Then, clearing his throat, he spoke, “Uh, Father? It’s Jack…”
“…and Siri,” the elf piped in.
“We apologize for keeping you up all night with our racket.” He sighed and leaned against the wall. “All we really wanted to do was to spend some time in each other’s company. Because, with work and all, we never get the chance to play the role of the married couple that we are. It’s always the constant stresses of life that separates us, and just once, we had the time to…well…do something together that we both enjoy…We didn’t mean to harm anyone, and we’re sorry about it.”
Siri spoke next. “Father? I really am sorry about doing that to you earlier. I…wasn’t really in the best frame of mind for confrontations and went off the wall a bit.” She thought for a moment before she continued. “If you really want to get some sleep and relax, perhaps I can make you an offer. When this is all over, come back with us to Northrop-Grumman and we can lend you our beach house for a week if you want. Everything will be provided…food, drink, transportation. And if you still want to continue your priestly duties, you can check out our cathedral in the capital city, St. James. I’m sure that they would be honored to have you perform the mass in front of ten thousand people.”
The two remained silent as they awaited his reply, wondering whether or not he would forgive them and accept the offer.

Father Marco emerged, awake now. "Did you say drink, and ten thousand people?" He smirked, "Apology accepted!" h then continued, "I owe you an apology for throwing that whiskey back in, even if that was crude stereotyping." He grinned and said, "No hard feelings. But now, I must finish this stupid financial report the archdiocese wants from me before we need to attend anything else. Thanks." He quickly went back inside, and began finishing the report.
Prince John called all of the rooms, telling them that they were to get ready and come to the Star Office.
After the calls went out, the Imperial Palace was reopened and the national leaders started filing in.
Absent were the non-ruling Dersconis -- only Xavier and Prince John were there -- and no one was behind the desk. The couches and chairs were as they normally were, arranged in a circle. Prince John and Xavier were sitting next to each other, a small table in between them, directly in front of the desk. The Praetorian Guard ushered them to preassigned seats, due to the mess of yesterday. John Server was present, but no one else from Corneliu was. He was seated directly across from the Dersconis, nearest the back and closest to the Praetorian Guard (since the Corneliuans always ended up starting something). To the left of the Dersconi delegation was the Ridgian, and to the right was the Shogun. Beside the Shogun was the Reichskamphen delegation, and aside them, the Jeruselem delegation, and beside the Ridgians were Jack and Siri. In between Siri and Server was Phoren Narqu, and between the Jeruselem delegation and Server was the Formal Dancian one. Behind Server stood four Praetorian Guards, and behind the Dersconis stood four. From there, they encircled the group, and the remaining Praetorian stood where they normally do, in the back. This setup was to prevent any incidents.
When they all sat down, all could notice the somewhat cold looks in the Dersconis eyes. They had business to discuss, and they weren't going to be interrupted. Prince John led the meeting.
"Now, the purpose of this meeting of the Estates General is to overturn one of Emperor Napoleon's decrees. In it stated that only a Bonaparte could be an Emperor. However, there are no more Bonapartes to be elected. Therefore, if this decree stays on the books, there can be no Emperor.
"Normally, the Estates General would not ever have any sort of governing power whatsoever. However, due to the lack of an Emperor, athourity is passed to the Estates General. Therefore, I put on the floor to overturn the Imperial Decree, as that way, we can have ourselves an Emperor.
"Under the Imperial Law Code, each nation recieves one vote, and one subsequent vote for each billion citizens. It also states a nation is to send a delegate per vote, but we'll overlook that due to the urgency of the decision. Each nation will be allocated their number of votes, and it will be a solid voting bloc. Therefore, the allocation is as follows: Cherry Ridge, six; Corneliu, five; Derscon, six; Formal Dances, four; Jeruselem, six; Northrop-Grumman, five; Pschycotic Pschycos, four; Reichskamphen, six; Underwater Asylum, five. This totals to forty-seven votes in all, leaving the requirement for passage to twenty-four votes.

Phoren settled himself down but spared a moment to give Siri a glare- Evidently the Father hadn't been the only one they'd kept awake with their racket. Even if he kept falling asleep in the middle of meetings, he wasn't getting enough sleep. But sure enough, he returned to his semi-cheerful self and waited for the purpose of this particular meeting to be announced. And when it was, he'd be amongst the first to speak.
"The Grand Empire will vote to overturn this law on one condition- That a majority vote by the very same people in this room will be required to select a new Emperor when there are no heirs remaining in the Imperial Bloodline."

Noting the glare from Emperor Narqu, Siri merely smiled towards him and shrugged her shoulders, not really caring what he thought about last night. She had much more important things to worry about than him dozing off all the time. So when the voting finally began during the meeting, Jack turned to her for her vote on the matter, and she nodded her head, obviously voting ‘Aye’.
“The Corporation votes to repeal the decree, too.” He stated plainly, trying to keep things to the point and to get this voting done with. “Twenty-six votes for, none against.”

John Antonette nodded, "I support this repeal. It is necessary for the good of the Empire."
Prince John looked over at Phoren. "That would be quite impossible. Not only are very few nations of the GPE respresented here, but very few of us will be sticking around for the next time the Imperial Bloodline runs out. For whatever reasons, some of us will not be present, therefore that would be just like the law requiring a Bonaparte when there is no more Bonapartes.
"Even not counting Underwater Asylum's vote, which is currently in question, the votes of Cherry Ridge, Derscon, Jeruselem, Northrop-Grumman and Pschycotic Pschycos brings it to twenty-seven votes in favour, which is more than the required majority, therefore it's quite useless to continue voting.
"I now turn it back to the floor for nominations for Emperor. Xavier has already been nominated. To have a person nominated, that person must recieve two votes of confidence, neither from his own nation.
"According to the Imperial Law Code, Article One, Section Two, concerning the qualifications for Emperor: 'Any Emperor of Greater Prussia most profess the Protestant Christian Faith. He not only must profess it, but must in his daily life demonstrate his practicing and true belief in the faith, and attempt to further the faith at every opportunity. No Emperor of Greater Prussia may be or marry a non-Protestant, as the effects of heathen influences are seen all around this fallen world, be they the iron chains of the Vatican imposed on those submitting to her, or the dives of iniquity that are found in other secular forms of government. In order to maintain a pure and righteous Empire for our Children to grow old in, and to prevent the oppression seen in the pre-Reformation days of Reichskamphen, we must Preserve the Protestant Crown.' Therefore, if any candidate fits these requirements, nominate them now. Otherwise, Xavier will take the Prussian Crown by default, being the only one currently nominated."

"My nomination for Prince John still stands."
Prince John shook his head. "And my refusal also stands." He looked around the room once more.
"If there are no more nominations of figures who fit the requirements, then Xavier will take the Crown by default." The Prince, of course, wanted Xavier to take it, but he wanted to make sure anyone who might also deserve an oppertunity for the Crown, recieves it.

We have incoming news from New Geneva today. A clandestine operation that has been underway for nearly a year now in the entire Protectorate of New Geneva is now going public.
After an information leak from the Office of the High Lord Protector, Rev. Graves in conjunction with the Lord Marechal’s office issued a formal press release today speaking in great detail about Project Anastasia as it had been previously known. As it sounds, the purpose of this programme has been to track down the relatives of executed or otherwise deceased nobles and entice them to return to Reichskamphen with the promise of full transference of noble privileges. Other aims of the project include locating the noble children that were overseas at either the Robert E. Lee Military Academy, or otherwise indisposed when the Great Darkness fell upon the Kingdom and indeed the Empire.
The most closely guarded aspect of the programme, however, is an investigation into the family tree of the late Emperor to see if living relatives can be found, and if they would be in a position to take the throne. Futhermore, this same committee has also taken the dynasty laws in the context of the larger law code to determine the eligibility of any foreign nobles to claim the Crown of Reichskamphen and to analyze the claims of all claimants to the Greater Prussian throne.
Information is quite plentiful on all aspects of the programme except the very last mentioned, which is continuing to be kept top secret.
Sources inform us, that 25% of the slaughtered nobility in Reichskamphen had children overseas, for the most part in the Robert E. Lee academy, Imperial Colleges, and other such institutions. Many of the children that are of the legal age of succession have returned to their land and are beginning recovery. Relatives to another 35% of the slaughtered nobility have been located and invited to assume the mantel. And, a further 10% of the slaughtered nobility have had previous nobles that were exhiled return to take their place. That however, leaves, 30% less nobility than pre Darkness. Plans to ameliorate this include combining territories and downsizing the noble class as well as inviting foreign nobles to take an interest in the land. Even then, of all the nobility that have been accounted for and promised to return, only 30% have managed to actually return to their lands and hold a role with any similarity to their former ones. Rev. Graves has many ideas for restoring normalcy politically, but in the short term, it is expected that Marechal Brune will use the full weight of the New Genevan army to forcibly reinstitute the status quo if necessary.
In even bigger news, GPNN has just learned that Rev. Graves has issued a decree that will reunite the Royal family and initiate a meeting to select a King.
Rekjyavich-Andropov Military City
Everything was finally prepared for the funeral procession for Tsar Alexei XIV-I. Well, security-wise, anyways. Security, as always, was the highest concern for these such events, as the normal procedures are suspended for such an event -- rarely does one have to worry about such masses of people. However, once you got into the suburbs around the area, it was obvious that Derscon was taking security seriously.
Outside Makalanya Forest, the Koenigeschutzstaffel was maning the checkpoints outside the woods surrounding RAMC. It was the only way you could get into the forest, really -- if you went anywhere else, you'd be gunned down by AI-controlled anti-infantry batteries.
Once you got passed the security checkpoints, it was the Forest Road to go through. The forest was riddled with automated security features, such as AI minefields, turrets of all kind, various traps and what not, and Lord knows what else. However, on the Road itself, not inside the forest, the minefields that covered literally every inch of the road were all switched off, so as to allow the safe passage of vehicles.
After about a ten minute drive (assuming you're going ninety-five miles per hour), the opening to the walled city of Rekjyavich-Andropov Military City will appear in front of you. The walls date back over a thousand years, however, they were constantly maintained and modernized as to be just as effective against an infantry assault as they would have been a thousand years ago. The Praesillei Dei, as usual, maintained the defences of these gates and the surrounding area, as well as the fortifications and the batteries, although many of those are automated. The hellfire batteries on the front of the gats, though, aren't. The gates were wide open, the only time that would ever happen, and you could drive right through into the city itself.
Inside RAMC, however, the security elements were ever-present. The alien Honour Guards and the Praesillei Dei were scattered about the entire city, and all of the Ministry buildings were closed down. Snipers were positioned around the entire city, since the internal automated defences had to be turned offline. All of the air-related ones were still up and running, however.
In the centre of Rekjyavich-Andropov Military City, the walls to the Imperial Kremlin majestically overlooked the city from the inside. Inside the Complex, however, there were relatively few Praesillei Dei soldiers -- most of the security was handled by the Honour Guards.
Inside the Kremlin Cathedral, which was now prepared for all of its occupants, security was provided by the Order of the Empyrean Dragon and the Palace Honour Guards, which are rarely seen, as they're responsibility is the defence of the Old Palace, which no one really ventures in anymore.

Father Marco stood in the back of the Kremlin Cathedral. He felt slightly awkward, being the only Catholic priest there. He draped his black cope over a chair. It was a dark purple on the inside, but black on the outside. It had three gold strips, one from each shoulder, and one from center, that met, and formed an oval with the letters IHS in the center, then contineud in one gold strip. The clasp in the front had the greek symbols for the Alpha and the Omega. He wore a plain white alb, with a cincture wrapped around himself over his clerical suit. His dark purple stole was also draped over the chair. His hymnal was resting on the chair. He walked over to Prince John and said, "Whats the basic order of the service?"
Prince John glanced over at Father Marco.
"Um...good question. Some sort of processional thinger, a few hymns, a prayer somewhere in there. Basic bible reading stuff, another prayer, another hymn, the in memoria stuff, and a benediction, with another hymn as most everyone leaves, save those select."
OOC: Well, I had inspiration, lost it, found it, and lost it again. Here's something, though.
Andropovsgrad, Derscon
Andropovsgrad was the suitable place to start the funeral procession -- it was the oldest known actual city in Derscon, built about twenty years into the Andropov Dynasty under Alexei I. The group formed up and prepared to march out of the palace there. In the front were a group of Palace Honour Guards, clad in shimmering white armour that most have never seen, as the Palace Honour Guards are the ones responsible for the defence of the Old Kremlin Palace (Rachek's Temple), which was literally inside the Grand Kremlin Palace. After them was the Imperial Prussian Military Band, and after them, the l'Empereur Division of the Greater Prussian Imperial Guard. After the first three blocs, the Ridgian, Northrop-Grumman, and PsiPso parade groups marched, in that order, who were in front of the Reichskamphen bloc. Behind the Reichskamphen bloc was the main body of the procession. In a three-layered square, from the outside in, Dersconi Honour Guards, the Praetorian Guard, and the Rachekslvyetodo (who "carried" Alexei's casket (telekinetically)). Behind them were the Koeniglicheschutzstaffel, a small entourage from GICAPFAH, and, finally, the Royal Marines.
From Andropovsgrad, they went forward to Wittenburg, to Drakonsgrad, to Sentinsgrad, to Moskva, Arkhangel'sk, and, after Xchrazhnsk, they made their way to the suburbs of RAMC.
From there, they were greeted with most of the civilians present to see the Tsar, who could not secure a position inside the Empyrean Cathedral itself. Entering the Makalanya Forest surrounding RAMC itself, the KSS, Royal Marines, and the GICAPFAH blocs broke off and headed to their designated spots to fix themselves up for the funeral. The rest of the group marched through the forest, and came to the open gates of Rekjyavich-Andropov Military City, marching through it. The All-Prussian groups at the front at this time broke off and headed to their designated locales (they didn't enter the city). The rest of the group marched through the Capitol City, passing the various Ministries of the Dersconi Government, and finally arriving at the gates of the Tsarist Kremlin, where the national groups broke off, so it was just the "Casket Corps" that walked into the Royal Sector itself.
The Cathedral was closed to all at the time, but the procession walked in with Alexei's casket to finish preparations. The orchestra was already there and seated. When the casket was seated, the Praetorian Guards took their positions, and the Rachekslvyetodo hovered around the casket and altar. The ceremony would begin briefly, as the doors finally opened to allow those who were invited to come in.

The Pschycotian bloc was comprised of a hundred White Knight guards. They were all clad in brilliant, pure white armour. The only color in the procession was from great black cloaks attached to the shoulder joints of the soldiers' armour. In their hands were equally white naginatas, staffs with curved blades at one end. Every five steps, they raised the naginatas over their heads in a salute.
Kenshin had not marched with the other soldiers. Rather, he preferred to collect himself before the funeral. Samurai traditionally did not show emotion even when friends were lost. To the funeral, he had put on his dress armour. It didn't have the same bulk as the battle armour, but still put forth that extra, intimidating padding, swelling his chest area, and making his shoulders broader. It was made of black material, with red trim showing across it where stitchings held it together. Attached under his shoulder plates (sheets rather, as samurai armour is made of steel plates sewn together in sheets) was a massive cloak of deep maroon with gold trim and borders. In the center of it, the Nakamura family mon, its golden eagle mascot, appeared. The cloak reached to, and dragged on the ground. However, it fluttered behind him when he walked. This time, he didn't wear the helm, and allowed his orange hair, a shocking mess with only half tied back in a tail, to hang out. At the said designated time, he marched into the cathedral, cloak fluttering royally behind him, and took an appropriate seat.

The one hundred member Royal Guard marched solemnly on horseback, as did the Catholic Chivalric Order of the White Rose. It was not very large, as there had not been much notice. The Guards wore their traditional blue uniforms, while the Whote Rose wore White Robes, whith large gold crosses, with a White Rose in the center.
---
John Antonette was dressed in a solid white uniform, with his medals shining at the slightest hint of light. Over this, was a jacket made of gold thread, and adorned with various jewels. Finally, he wore a large white cape, also adorned with jewels, and held together by gold threads. His sword dangled from his side, and he held his scepter, though there was a place for him to place it. He also wore a crown, adorned with rubies and diamonds. (These were, of course, models of the actual regalia that is kept on the Royal Jet.)
However, he still wore his simple black shoes.
He waited for the time to go into the funeral.

OOC: Derscon's informed me that he is lacking motivation to post here. Thus, since I still have very important stuff here to do, I shall move it along.
=================================================
With the arrival of the guests for the funeral, it so began, leading to the many speeches honoring Alexi. Of course, being a close friend, Kenshin was obligated to say some words honoring him.
Friends, Neighbors, Fellow National Leaders, and drunkards....I mean priests. As I'm sure all of you are as well, I am deeply saddened by the passing of dear Alexi. This came as a shock to myself, as it did most of you. Alexi was a victim of merciless treason and trickery by one he had thought that he could trust. And with his passing, the world shall not be the same again. His power is gone, and has left a terrible vacumn in its stead. With Alexi's passing, we are ushered into a grave new era. We must look around us, take stock of who sits among us, and question who is loyal to their own nation and to Greater Prussia?
His armour rustled as he began gesticulating,
Who hear would give their life for the Crown? Who hear would commit the lives of their citizens for the greater good of the Crown? Alexi would without hesitation. Can we say we're as good as that? Can we? It is apparent that one person can't. How many more are among us that can't? We must guard against those who will bring us down! And we cannot just look without, or we shall fall! Look within as you do without! I charge that there are still some among us who wish to do us harm! There are those among us who wish not just to harm the Empire, but to use it as a tool. A tool to harm the whole of humanity! For the sake of Alexi, guard against it! Do not excuse questionable action! Do not grant anyone the sake of rank! Unfortunately, I cannot be the one to ensure of this. I cannot continue myself. My own age and rule ended with Alexi's passing. I cannot even dream of ruling while Alexi lays buried. And so, with his passing, I must fade away into the mist and be forgotten as all are. Perhaps I shall reemerge from the mist and fog one day, but until then, I bid you all a fond farewell, and charge you with continuing the glory of the Empire and that which Alexi built.
A soldier of the Shogunate walked up to Kenshin, clad in white armour and helm. He knelt down in front of Kenshin and extended his hands, which had a short sword in a black laqued scabbard in them. He spoke in thick, heavy Japanese, "the Shogunate and the Ancestors demand that your Honor be restored to you. They bid you peace, Nakamura-san." The soldier stood and bowed slightly, Kenshin returning the bow deeper. He then turned and left the stage he was speaking from, leaving the chapel [I assume it's a chapel] and those among him, his second sword securely in his sash once more after nearly 40 years, his cloak fluttering behind him. Finally, he was lost in the glare of the light outside.
