Comment: Good luck. Hope you manage to do it better than I did (link (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=459886)). If anything, though, I found that there is support out there for such a tour as this should it be run well enough.

Question: How will you be generating the results for the tour? Schiavonia's golfers entries are pretty much dependant upon this question.

OOC: Hello there, I think I'd be potentially interested in joining - might be nice to get some 'publicity' on my new, humble nation. Can you perhaps explain a little bit about how this would work for a new member like me (is it going to be roleplaying, etc.?)

Thanks!

Player
Colonel John Stuart. An ex-military man who insisted on keeping his rank title when he retired, Stuart is a multi-time MPGA champion, holding seven gold trophies, including that of last year. At forty-nine, he holds over thirty years experience. He himself believes his short game is the best part of his overall performance, and it shows; in all eleven of his MPGA tours, he has missed a putt on the green just once. Sadly, this one putt lost him the 2004 tour - he was a single shot ahead of nearest rival Carmine Lorenzo, and when Lorenzo birdied the same hole, it meant the competition went to a sudden death 'HORSE'-like tournament. Even then, Stuart matched him for three shots before finally succumbing to a sixty-foot chip shot.

Scores are random generated although experience & reputation affects this. My brother is giving me a generator he created anytime now (He is about to join NS). Role-Play can be used before & after an event & increases your chances of getting a better score etc.
You do not have to RP but it's best too!

They might well be randomly generated, but the question is by what method? Randomly generated results can be created by anything from dice to a specially designed spreadsheet to... well, almost any method. There was one previous golf tour that involved the organiser hitting a ball around the room or something. Needless to say, Schiavonia was not involved in that tour (not less because it used RL players).

I shall be submitting a few courses. We aiming to have around 15 + Courses/Events!

Players: Debrigo Lanso, Antonio Long & Carlo Dimatraz
Lanso's Strengths is the long-game followed by the fairway. He looses it once he is around the green. Dimatraz has an excellent short-game (from 200 yards in) but lacks in distance from the tee & fairway. He holds some San Haven records for scores & short-games including several records for scoring 2 shots from 250 yards. One shot onto the green & one putt. He will be a big player on the tour hopefully nailing all his putts!
Antonio Long is the best contester for the tournament with his excellent long game & shortgame but has the disadvantage of playing from the rough & bunkers.

Doauo Bay Course (Doauo Bay, San Haven)

New-Lexington
19-04-2006, 01:59
OOC: Count New-Lexington in

Jason Cochcroft 27
New-Lexington's top player has won the NLPGA championship for an incredible five straight years. If there is any blemish it is a slight lack of power although he can still hit the ball 300+ yards.
Dylan Windham 35
Windham plays big and can drive the ball well over 300 yards. He has a tendency to overshhot the green on an approch shot. Slicing has also been a major problem for Windham, but he continues to improve.
Grant Bouknight 42
Bouknight lacks power, but makes up for it with a tremendous ability to create shots out of nothing. He uses the terrain around him to a great advantage.

I will submit two players now & courses laterB
Danny Biggs:
The finest Long in the nation, but lacks on putting. Very accurate in the long game! Biggs is yet to discover the art of the shortgame. Despite that he is a good contestant!

Henry Jui:
The asian is one of the best & has it from within 200 yards. Off the tee he lacks accuracy tending to draw & fade the ball. Jui was ranked 2nd behind Biggs last season in the TNPGA.

Good to see an extra two players. I will add them in a hour or so to the list. We are still after another 8 or so courses so i can assign events to them!

Course Name / Location:

The Sunny Southern Links (Reichsburg, Tinsuvilia)

Course History:

Tinsuvilia's oldest course, The Sunny Southern Links have managed to avoid damage in the recent wars that have become all to common in New Paladinia's modern era. The Tinsuvilian government authorized military protection of the ancient course earlier this year.

Course Description:

Known for it's especially difficult back nine, this bunker littered course forces the golfer to bring his best stuff, or don't come at all. The 17th, known to many as the most challenging hole in Tinsuvilia, features a par 5 hole almost 800 yards from the tee, around a left bend, facing into the harsh Medditerranean wind. Scores of double bogey or higher are not uncommon.

Titawon International Golf and Tennis Club is inetersetted in hosting a tournament. This course is located in Titawon's Capital city, along the northern coast of the country. This course is very similar to that of Pebble Beach Golf Links. The Fairways are fairly tight, with bunkers surronding the landing area. The rough is think, especially around the greens. The greens are small and undulating. The course plays around 6,900 yards, and places a premium on accuracy. The course has hosted the Titawon National Championship four times. Titawon's qualifing tournament is finishing up as we speak, and our golfers will be announced tomorrow.

Sorry, better get in before its too late!

David Harren:
Acurate Sharp Shooter, rarely misses greens or fairways but lacks heavily from bunkers & putting. Maybe not a huge contestant, but will challenge you!

Levi Jones:
The golfer left out. He usually shoots 40-20 yards less than everyone else, but only lacks in lenght. Very common to see him shoot 4 rounds in the high 60's.

Los Mexican Pacifica National Course:
Lush Fairways, Undulating Greens & Winding Fairways challenge many. Its winds can double your scorecard. Be prepared!

After considerable deliberation, the SoulScience Golf Association wishes to announce that two golfers will be representing the nation in this year's tour.

Drew Jacobsen - Age 23

A recent graduate from the University of SoulScience, Jacobsen is gifted with a fluid swing and a keen eye on and around the greens. The lefty is incredibly accurate, which makes up for a lack of length - the biggest flaw in his game. The other flaw in his the game is a lack of experience which leads to questionable judgement at several key junctures. For example, in the final round of last year's Soul of Science Invitational (his first ever pro event), Jacobsen was up by three strokes standing on the tee of the par 3 17th hole. Despite a tricky pin placement, he fired right for the flag and deposited two straight tee shots into the water in front of the green. This lead to an 8 on the hole and a third place finish in the tournament.

Pete Anders - Age 50

In a 26 year career playing professional golf, Pete Anders has won numerous tournaments throughout the world, however he is definitely past his prime and has not won a tournament in over three years. Most people expected him to retire over the off season, but he stunned the nation by announcing his intentions to return for one last season, primarily to serve as a mentor to the young Jacobsen. The last few years have not been kind to his once fabled putting - in last year's Soul of Science Invitational, he three putted on seven holes in the final round. While he is still fairly long, Anders has lost some of his timing over the last few years and tends to be rather wild.

(PROLESTAN CITY TIMES) - Recently, Prolestan has gotten serious about sports on a world level. They've asked to be included in the Rugby Union World Cup V, and now they are entering the world of golf.

Golf, although not the most popular sport in Prolestan, does have a loyal following. There are a few golfers that could be considered great, but most of the golfers in Prolestan are just high schoolers who do not like any other sport but don't want to take P.E. However, a few of these golfers have actually become something. Though they are not ranked internationally, the top three national ranked golfers in Prolestan have been selected to apply to be in the Nation States PGA Tour.

Frank Bruce, who is ranked third in the nation, is a thirty-six year old former professional wrestler. He retired from professional wrestling just three years ago, but he has been playing golf since he was eight. When he was a professional wrestler, he won many charity golf touraments. He is quite great as putting.

Hailing from Prolestan City is the number two rated golfer in Prolestan, David "The Driver" Danzig. He holds the record for the longest drive in Prolestan history. David is fourty years old, and he has being golfing since the age of nine.

The number one ranked golfer in Prolestan is not a man. She is Susan Yellowstone, and she was born in the neighboring nation of Ramen-Spaghettio. However, she moved to Prolestan at a very young age and was raised in the upper-middle class town of West Worth. She is only thirty years old, but she has been golfing since she was five. She has become the best in the nation because she is a really good all-arounder.

With these three golfers, Prolestan hopes to become a major player in golf and all of sports throughout the world. The leaders of Prolestan will be meeting soon to talk about a future course that may be built for use in later PGA tours. -

Golf Course - SoS Golf and Country Club
Location - Orwell, The Republic of SoulScience
Tournament - The SoulScience Invitational

Built in 1984, this course has matured nicely and provides a very challenging round of golf. Located in Orwell, a famous resort area on a blustery peninsula, it features extremely narrow fareways, thick rough, and a plethora of pot bunkers. The greens are renowned for being incredibly fast and hard to read. Like many great golf courses, this course has ample room for aggressive golfers to gamble. While the rewards can be immense, so are the risks.

Hole 1 - Par 4 - 420 yards (river down the left side of the fareway)
Hole 2 - Par 4 - 440 yards
Hole 3 - Par 3 - 175 yards (green is 20 yards below the tee)
Hole 4 - Par 4 - 402 yards
Hole 5 - Par 5 - 565 yards
Hole 6 - Par 4 - 395 yards
Hole 7 - Par 3 - 135 yards (island green)
Hole 8 - Par 4 - 435 yards
Hole 9 - Par 5 - 605 yards

OUT - 3572 yards

Hole 10 - Par 4 - 425 yards
Hole 11 - Par 4 - 398 yards
Hole 12 - Par 4 - 386 yards (large pond to the left of the fareway)
Hole 13 - Par 5 - 530 yards
Hole 14 - Par 4 - 445 yards
Hole 15 - Par 4 - 306 yards (island green)
Hole 16 - Par 4 - 410 yards
Hole 17 - Par 3 - 168 yards (pond in front of the green)
Hole 18 - Par 4 - 450 yards (river down the right side of the fareway)

IN - 3518 yards
TOTAL Yards - 7090
Par - 72

Weather Conditions:

Round 1 - The Invitational gets off to a rough start as driving rain/sleet, temperatures that hover just above freezing and strong winds combine to make the course nearly unplayable.
Round 2 - The weather is still very poor. Temperatures actually dropped below freezing and winds are strong, but at least the rain stopped.
Round 3 - With the cold front finally moving off the peninsula, temperatures have returned to normal. It is a bright and sunny day, but still quite windy.
Final Round - Conditions are pristine and absolutely perfect for posting low scores. There is not a cloud in the sky and the wind is light.

BERNARDUS SENDS ITS BEST TO THE NATION STATES PGA TOUR

SURINGTON - The final round of The United Allies of Bernardus Qualifying Open has concluded. The following 2 players have earned there way to compete on the Nation States PGA Tour:

Tremaine Wright (6' 2'' 195 lbs): Finished Qualifying T1 - won in a playoff. Bio: Arguably the most solid player on the Bernardus Tour. He is a great ball striker, (leader on the Bernardus Tour in GIR and Fairways). Mentally solid, doesn't crumble under pressure, he is the all-time leader in career wins, when a title is at stake his play remains unchanged. Simply, Wright is solid across the board, you find won't more of a consistent player.

Layton Aykenne (6' 6" 210 lbs): Finshed T1 - lost in playoff. Bio: The 20 years old rookie is truly a star on the rise. He could not have a better swing, and combined with his stature (6' 6''), he is one of the longer players on Tour. Great, clutch putter. He definately needs to improve the consistency of his middle irons, can easily hit a baby cut, but struggles with some approaches that require a draw. He hits on 40% of fairways, but honestly his tee-ball is not a problem. His greatest asset his competitive spirit, watch out folks he brings a football mentality to the golf course.

On behalf of SoulScience Television and the Esteemed President of the Rebublic of SoulScience, I would like to make a formal offer for exclusive global film and televise rights to the 3rd and 4th round of every NSPGA event. The events will air live on SSTV and we will offer feeds to other nations. SSTV would like to offer $25 million bytes in exchange for the exclusive rights for the inaugural season.

SoulScience Television (SSTV) is our nation's largest and highest rated broadcaster and serves the needs of several hundred million customers. We eagerly await your response....

You can scorinate my events and whatever, but i wish to RP my events with factors such as weather, conditions, audience etc but not the game happening itself. I will RP my players as frequently as possible in all events!
