Since the whole superhero things seems to be fairly popular now; I thought why not create an index Nationstates superheroes. It’s just for fun, no role-playing necessary; think of it as a way to expand upon your nation. Through the use of a superhero one could expand upon cultural identity, history, economy, politics, and geography. Like what Superman is to the United States. And yes, even if you are an evil country who’s superhero would be considered a villain by other countries can post here.

*Skin: Grayish blue shark like skin
>Costume: Shirt of dark green made from the scales of a spawn of the leviathan, and black briefs (speedos) made from the obsidian scales of a pit fish.
>Other: Physical Characteristics include- Swimmers build body type, webbed hands and feet, finned forearms and calves, gills and lungs, electric sense and pulse organs, two hearts, a skeletal frame made out of cartilage.
>>Alternatively- Aquarius goes through a transformation under nights of a red moon turning into a human. Under nights of a blue moon Aquarius takes an appearance of something between a flying fish and The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Superpowers and Weapons:
Aqua Punk (Moak) has a very dense but flexible body due to the cartilage making up his skeletal structure allowing him to survive extreme depths. He is also capable of breathing under water, as well as breathing air. Moak can focus his sonar abilities in a variety of ways such as to cause hypnosis or sleep, pain from high pitch sonar to cause ears and noses to bleed, and to form a powerful kinetic pulse. He is able to shock foes with his bare hands. Aqua Punk is also capable of forming stinging cells. He uses the anchor and chain from the ghost ship Azerial as a weapon. The anchor is said to be able to change its density, and strength at will of the wielder. The chain has an uncertain length; it is believed that it can reach from the living world to the spirit realm.
Origin:
Born the demigod Moak, spawned by the Queerion Sea God Mobiac and the transmuted flesh of an arm severed from a brave sailor. As reward for the sailor’s bravery Mobiac gave Moak to the sailor to rise as a son, but with fair warning that the boy would be like no other mortal; under nights of a red moon Moak would be a mortal human, under nights of a blue moon the boy would heed to the call of the waves; the rest of the time he would remain a demigod. As a child Moak performed many heroic feats, and was raised well by the sailor and his husband. After both his foster parents died Moak returned to the water, only to emerge from the depths to do battle or when to visit his foster parents grave. Overtime witnesses to see him referred his appearance to be punkish, earning him the title Aqua Punk.

Extra:
My concept of Aqua Punk is mixture between Aqua Man and Inu Yasha. Further more, Queeion being an island based nation; an aquatic hero made the most sense.

I had hoped this was going to be a popular and enjoyable thread, maybe I sholud have given it a different title. Perhaps something a long the lines of Who's your Nation's Superhero... Oh well I thought it was a good idea.

I personally like it, however I only have several villains, and they are not quite complete, they might learn new powers and the such during their current RP. Would it be alright if I write them down now, and perhaps have you edit some of their stats if they change?
