Im proposing for he folk of my queendom not to allow clothing until the age of 12, or puberty whichever occurs first. To decrease the fantasy in young chidren of sexual enuendo. The human form shall not be hidden, but embraced and loved as it was intended. Perverts who take advantages of young children shall be dismembered an inch at a time.:D Who supports me on this issue?

I do not belive that children should be forced to be naked. It is cloths that give humans dignity and keep them warm, if you do force children to be naked you should give extra lessons on why humans are diffrent from animals and you should also be prepared to deal with millions of cases of frost bite and other such alements

If you want to decrease teenage promiscuity, do it with propaganda that actually works, not with forced nudity. While I agree on the pervert issue, the human form is not hidden as it is; if anything all clothing helps to do is to accentuate the better parts of the human body while hiding those the wearer finds less desirable.

They shall wear coats when outdoors, but i have rethought the issue. So it shall be untill they can make thier own deciscion to wear clothes. It will not be forced, but the parents have no say. Children who decided they want to wear clothes will be interviewed upon thier reasons. If it is clearly the childs wishes then their wishes shall be honored. THis will greatly help with self esteem aamongst our young ones as well.

Are you sure you are not the pervert talking about that kids should be naked until they are old enough to decide? Clothes are necessary. You cannot live without clothes.

There was a time in many cultures where children were not permitted to wear clothes, for example native american children did not get thier clothes till 5. Or in most continents that have a higher climate they did the same. Childrens nakedness was not a sign of savageness, it was a simple thing that children did not need clothes because they were innocent. Once puberty occurs the child starts to loose innocense, and need to be covered while the body changes. Many image issues begin in the childhood years, in effort to promote self esteem, and confidence I think that shey should not wear clothes until they reach 12.. or are able to make a clear statement as to why they want to wear clothes. In which case if they can convince that it is theyre own wishes and not the parents, then they shall be respected enought to be permitted to wear clothing.

It seems that children should wear clothing just like everyone else. If they wore no clothing until 12, then they might get too used to not wearing clothing, and then would never wear clothing. This could have a...ahh...detrimental effect (to say the least) on how other nations precieve you.

I'll point out a few things wrong with that statement.

For starters, clothes do not give you dignity. In our society, as we know it, they do, because it is the standard. But in some tribes of Africa, Young children don't wear clothing until they hit puberty and become men or woman.

If our society was the same you wouldn't bat an eye at this proposition, but we live in a society where it is "wrong" to see children naked. It's only wrong because no one does it.

Well first of all this can be misconstrued, while I am sure you mean well, people can take this many ways.

In my personal opinion, this will not decrease curiosity, but more than likely increase it, frankly a lot of children in tribal villages in Africa and south America go naked, and is not considered pedophiliac in any way, but its your nation so its your choice, the civilized world considers it a taboo for some odd reason, my nation icly doesn’t recommend it, but if you want to go naked go-ahead we wont stop you. Furthermore “innuendo” is not the correct expression for it.

In the Secularist Kingdom of Maraque the right to bare your skin has been legal for several years now.

The vast majority of the Kingdom's population sees nothing wrong with nudity and feels it is natural to be naked. Some feel clothes hide your true self.

However, many people still choose to wear clothes, but they do not critisize those who don't. Children in the Kingdom don't seem to notice the difference either as it has become common.

But if children go without clothing, how will you tell their tribe?
