Prince Patrick read through the message again. Not perfect. Would it do? Maybe. Not good enough. This was far too important for any hint of the wrong tone, or shade of meaning, or word, Patrick thought. Or maybe he was overthinking it. It might be too much for a letter, anyway.

Okay, new file. New message. Less to read, which was good. Less said, which might or might not be a good thing. He could always just postpone any real announcement until the event. Or after. Whichever. You can't rush into these things, anyway. Or so John had said. Patrick wondered idly what John Mose, his father's "Personal Advisor to the King" would have said of his plans. Shook his head, probably, and urged moderation. "You must not act on impulse, only sense." This was sense, though, after a fashion. Quornia couldn't be a backwater forever. And it's not as though this was horribly radical or anything of that sort. Not really.

Patrick realized that his mind was racing. Too much coffee, too little sleep, too much stress. A nap would do him good. The message, in some form or the other, had to go out immediately, though.

A thought struck him. I'm the Crown Prince of Quornia.. He didn't really have to do this if it didn't have anything that sensitive in it. He had others to handle the littler things for him. He picked up the slim purple telephone lying on his mahogany desk. "Minister of Public Relations and Events, please. Yes, here. As soon as possible."

In one week, Prince Patrick the Second is to be crowned King of Quornia, Master of the Royal Guard, and Grand Cardinal of the Quornian Orthodox Church. Representatives of any and all peacable and friendly nations are invited to attend. A delegation of up to five people is recommended, in addition adequate security personnel. A Quornian Royal Guardsmen will also be assigned to each delegation as an honor guard, should there be no objection. Delegations may arrive at any time they choose, and will be granted rooms in the Quornian Royal Palace or a hotel of their choice. At any time during a delegation's visit to Quornia, any member thereof can be granted a private audience with the Prince.

The Coronation will occur at noon on Sunday, beginning with a light lunch served as any present are invited to offer toasts and give brief speeches. At two o'clock, the ceremony will commence, Prince Patrick the Second will be crowned King of Quornia, etc., and give the traditional Ascension Speech.

We urge you to take advantage of this oppotunity, as it is the intent of the Kingdom of Quornia to foster international relations. Please contact me with any questions or plans.

A Red Hawk, the fastest Helicopter in the Kanami Air Force, escorted by two fighter jets, soard through the air. On-board, was Karou Kamiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Kanami, Princess Tomoyo of Kurona, and Princess Subaru, of Aqua Anu.
