This is the bid thread for Liverpool England/The Macabees' World Cup 27 Cup of Harmony-World Cup 28 finals cohosting bid. Below you will find details on how we intend to run both tournaments if selected.

RP bonus
Both quality- and quantity- based. We respect that good RPs are difficult to generate and we appreciate them being generated, and good RPs wll be rewarded. However, since they are tough to generate, a quantity-based RP bonus will also be applied, to a limited extent. This is to curb Spaaming.

Past Hosting
We both have past hosting experience, I cohosted World Cup 20's Cup of Harmony and World Cup 22, and have also hosted a Cherry Cup, a Field Hockey World Cup and an NSFA Cup. Mac has in the past hosted a futsal tournament, if you remember.

Number of teams
We feel we will be able to work with any number of teams for the World Cup. For the Cup of Harmony, we are looking at 16, 24 or 32, depending on the number of RPing non-qualifiers we can find.

Scorination
We would be using the wonderful invention of NSFootySim for both tournaments. FootySim was chosen over Leagion due to Leagion's inability to sort groups, as well as a failure to function on Mac's computer.

Ranks
We will be using KPB points rather than sequential ranks, and for the CoH we will be using post-qualifying KPB points, rather than pre-qualifying. Style modifiers will be available but limited to +/- 2, to limit chances of ridiculous scores we saw in WC26 and WC27.

Stadia to come in future posts.

Imperial Stadia

Catalán Imperial Stadium, Fedala [Capital]

Jonach Catalán Imperial Stadium seats a whooping 430,000 spectators, built for the city of Fedala and it's enormous population. It was constructed only six years ago [2011, by my book] and is still brand new in all respects.

Olympic Stadium, Macabea City
[img]http://elmundodeporte.elmundo.es/elmundodeporte/especiales/2002/08/liga/primera/equipos/atleticomadrid/imagenes/vicentecalderon.jpg

Olympic Stadium was retrofitted recently to fit less people, making room for other buildings in the city, allowing 120,000 spectators in the stadium. Olympic belongs to Royal Club Española who finished first in the 2016/2017 league.

Catamak Stadium, Segovia

Catamak seats 198,000, but is set as one of the safest stadiums in the Empire due to its engineering, construction, and organization of escape. Indeed, the Catamak snatches what the Colisseum was once boasted - it can empty in a mere five minutes.

Jeosep Tier Stadium, Beda Fromm

This hunk of concrete, built to stand time, was first conscructed in 1868 and then torn down at the beginning of the Great Civil War in 1905. It was later rebuilt post-bellum, in 2008, to accomodate the team Royal Club Marques. It seats approx. 78,000 souls.

Mandalay City Stadium, Mandalay

Mandalay City Stadium was recently purchased by the city when the team, Port Elusqué lost funds to keep payments to their grounds. Opting to keep it as a stadium for the team, the city has it on lease to Elusqué and a number of other lesser guests. It seats 130,000 persons.
