Come To Earthsea

The Earthsea Islands
05-03-2006, 21:13
The oppresive rule of the communists has limited develpment and limited what people can do, but now we are entering a new age. An age where people can do what they want and go where they please. Earthsea has been avoided by tourists because of its restrictive government, but that government is no more. If you continue to ignore Earthsea you will be missing out on spectacular corral reefs, beautiful towns and villages with a fantastic night life, lush open countryside, tropical jungles and many spectacular monuments displaying hundreds of years of history.

Speak to your travel agent now or contact our tourism ministry for direct flights without the travel agents fees.

Think beauty, think fun, think Earthsea

(OOC: I know this is long, however I wanted to provide a background, and a story for my char)

IC:

22 year old Kelly Mcalle smiled as she reread the add that she had found in a book that had been sitting on her parent's coffee table. Standing up and after ripping out the page Kelly tucked it into her back pocket of her jean shorts and went off to find her father Nal and her mother Elita to ask if she could go.
"Absolutely not," Nal said as he read the add that his daughter thrusted at him.
"Oh please let me go, I'm 22 years old," Kelly said as her mother frowned.
"This seems like a dangerous place, especially with the goverment seeming so new," her mother said as her father nodded.
"I can go if I like," Kelly shot back, "I've never done a thing on my own, I've never even seen what is outside Tarayshia, you hardly let me go out with what little friends I have..."
"This conversation is over," Nal spoke sharply as Kelly's parents walked away with out looking back.
However Kelly had made up her mind; she was going exploring to this new Earthsea nation.
Two days later after contacting the tourism ministry of the Earthsea nation, Kelly found herself aboard a flight headed towards the country. The young woman carried a single suitcase with her, all 3000 dables that she had saved up over the months and a one way ticket.
'Maybe I can start a new life away from my parents and the confines of my life.'
The woman wanted to start over, a new start in a newly freed nation; just like she was now free. She had left her parents a note, saying that she was leaving for the countryside of Tarayshia with her friends and that she didn't know when she would return. She would've had 3500 dables however she paid off her only 2 friends that she had in order to forever buy there silence. She was going to miss Dila and Margo for they were the only ones that had been loyal to her over the years.
