Austar Union

It had been deemed very strongly by the powers and extensions of Wolfgang Milano, that as soon as the nation was indeed well under the New Order of his administration, that it would begin to look outwards into the world itself. Firstly however was not a mission to "gain friends and allies", as it would be for most states just beginning. But rather Milano sought to strengthen his relationship with the various former allies of the now late-Indigo Blue. High on this list per say, were the known dignitaories and gentlemen from the United Solaris Federation of Tiburon; strongly recorded into the former government's databanks as a solid and loyal ally. And although they for themselves actually supported the means of a democracy, they respected the ways of the Blue Administration.

Hopefully with time or no time at all the same could be said for Wolfgang Milano.

Grüße. As you are already aware, the rise of my governance over the peoples of the Austar Union has finally prevailed against the powers of anarchy which had devestated this nation for the past few months. It is unfortunate that our peoples had to go through such a progression before Order has been restored beneath my rule; but such are things.

Being a relatively educated man, I am well aware of the relationship which had blossumed between the United Solaris Federation, and the Austarian Central Government under the Administration of the late, Indigo Blue. And might be so brash to say, that I too seek to foster and harbour relations between our two nations, as they were. We might have undergone that of a change in government, but our respect for the friends and allies for this Union has not changed. Thusly, I am personally inviting you to a three day venture into the heart of New Berlin, whereby we might be able to discuss such things as the affairs of this world, and reach a common understanding from which to launch ourselves from. I hope that as a result of this three day meeting between us, our states may continue forwards as they once were, into the futures that both of us desire. To continue prolonged into partnership and beyond.

Signed,

Wolfgang Milano
Kanzer of the Nationalist Union

Among cities in Western Europe, Berlin (or New Berlin, rather) had probably seen the lion's share of upheaval and dictatorship. Stretching back from the Holy Roman Empire to the Prussians, then to that dark and truly evil decade between 1933 and 1945, and finally to East Germany and ultimately to the Austar Union. To say that it was particularly suited for adapting the sort of government that Kanzer Milano proposed may be a bit of a stretch- no area can be considered predisposed to a certain system of governance, after all- but Berlin had certainly seen more than its share of such.

The government of Tiburon, while disposed itself to the liberal democratic system that had once been in vogue throughout the planet, was not in the business of preaching systems. An enlightened dictatorship was considered better than an unenlightened, repressive democracy. It was not the system in and of itself, but rather how the nation chose to use it that became a major factor for Tiburonese relations with a nation. And the Austar Union had proven themselves to be a most valuable ally.

Kanzer Milano,

I am delighted, both personally and in my capacity as a representative of the United Solaris Federation, to see the Austar Union back on its feet after the chaos of the previous months. The United Solaris Federation has a strong and valuable ally in the Austar Union, and continues its support of the alliance that bonds our nations in harmony. I would be more than willing to come to New Berlin and help resume the pre-chaotic situation and to further our common cause for the present and the future.

Sincerely,
President Richard Bell,
The United Solaris Federation of Tiburon

Shortly after the message was sent, Aerospace One, the President's official spaceplane for diplomatic visits, took off from New York and cruised across the Atlantic, headed for New Berlin, home of the Brandenburg Gate, home of a little slice of Tiburonese history itself, with a sign declaring in full and somber glory, with the weight of every word hanging thick on those that crossed past it that YOU ARE LEAVING THE AMERICAN SECTOR blending into a building that was marked with a golden notice at the hedge wall at the entrance, reading in a stately, official manner that this was the EMBASSY OF THE UNITED SOLARIS FEDERATION OF TIBURON. It had come full circle, and the President hadn't even touched down on one of the landing strips of New Berlin's aerospace port. Which he was going to do shortly.

OOC: As a side note, I love that sign (http://leoville.com/blog/images/moblog/photo-192.jpg).

At " Aeroport Berlin ", what had been formerly known as the Anatoban International Airport had now thrived and become quite literally, a hub for international and domestic travel; via atmosphere, or non-atmosphere. And it having been previously used as both a civillian and government hub, these services continued, with almost three times the level of security. Security was, to say the least--tight. Dressed in both black suit, and plain clothing, it would have been nearly impossible for a breach to occur. " Nearly impossible." It was fortunate in the meantime that most Austarians were pro-Tiburonese in the matter of international relations and for the matter of security, no so called breach did occur. It was a peaceful day, and Milano stood well decorated.

Having been escorted by both Tiburonese and Austarian staff, the respective security organizations had naturally liazoned beforehand so as to prevent any disruptions occuring. And running smooth as expected, certainly, the Kanzer was well pleased. He too hoped that he was not alone.

"President Bell," greeted Wolfgang with a warm smile and firm handshake. "I am glad that you were to visit. I trust your trip went as planned?"

He motioned before him with an open hand, directing him the appropriate way. "Please." And as they walked side by side, their relative escorts followed at a safe, yet repectable distance.
