I'm not making one. Everyone should know what the flash looks like. My character is very similar in the costume.

@Hyper: Maybe you should create another character. You keep having to wait for others to post. If you create another character then you can always reply. That is another reason why I have so many characters.

@Hyper: I have a couple of ideas where you can create your own character. You can make a villian character that is a leader of one of the country's. Your villian can even take England since Alucard is gone. Or you could make a superhero that is a rogue or is apart of the NJLU. Just use your imagination.

I don't remember exactly when the last time you posted was, but Enerto made the deal with the U.S, Reave killed Alucard, became Sacer, then killed himself, after chopping off Athena's arm.

Enertro made Diaphanous his 2nd in command, making General Surge jealous and even more angry at her. Enertro and his team are now on their way to a conference with the rest of the worlds villain teams, and Surge will make a call to get Prism on one of Enertro's jets to transport him to where they are.

The NJLU hopped aboard the ship and the guards were firing at them. And that's about all I think

Your char is right out of a soap I used to watch eons ago. (I don't watch that shit anymore... not for eons.) Days of Our Lives... everyone dies a million times over and somehow comes back... :p

Which is why I really didn't want him to come back after he killed himself, but I did so only by popular demand. So in turn I killed Athena, who under no circumstances is coming back. Ever. Niether is Alucard.

Besides without Sacer I didn't have anything to do in the RP and got really, really bored.

Sacer is a really good character. I really don't mind him coming back over and over. Athena wasn't a necessary character so that was fine. Is Fenrir still around?

I don't know. It depends on what you plan to do with this Angelic figure. If you are going to use this angel to enpower your group of people even more, no. If you are going to make the angel a member of the NJLU or as a neutral character, yes.

Superhero Name: (The) Guardian

Alter-Ego: None

Height: 8'00, (10 feet counting top of folded wings)

Weight: 600 lbs

Team Allegiance: Unknown. Was rogue superhero, but would probably lean towards NJLU team when confronted with the question.

Hometown: Unkown, but currently flies around the world, mostly the U.S and Italy, performing "good deeds".

Superpowers and Weapons: Carries massive broadsword, which glows with a white fire, that he could wield with great speed and little effort, as well as a large kite sheild. Has power of healing and can heal incredibly fast, nearly instantanious when healing self. Has power of light(Not in the way that he can shoot light beams and kill someone lol, more like Blind people with it). Can fly because of wings. Has complete control over weapons and armor, in that he can have them return to his hand if thrown, or perform horrible if someone manages to try to use them (if they could carry such heavy stuff lol). Cannot be put under mindcontrol and has a strong resistance to telepath (but that doesnt mean he isnt immune). He is strong, some-what fast, and intelligent, and doesn't get hurt easily.

Bio: Not much is known of this holy wanderer, only that he does his deeds "In the name of God". He acts as the perfect hero and a terrible foe. He does what he believes would be the right thing to do, and follows ally orders almost unquestionably.

I think he should have some sort of weakness? Especially if he is going to find an ally and follow orders unquestionably. If he joins the NJLU as is, no one can touch him... RP over. :p

Weaknesses: Darkness weakens his powers greatly (but he can still fly) in that he moves slower and heals much slower than usual. When in darkness, he cannot use his light abilities.

I was looking at the Guardian being an ally against Fenrir. I believe eventually the gov'ts, the NJLU, and all the villians will find him to be the #1 threat. In my mind, the Guardian would go after Fenrir. (But that's my mind. :p ).

I wasn't concerned about fighting him one bit! I really think he will be more concerned about Fenrir. I thought he might become an ally against Fenrir.

I'm wondering if Dia should contact Haze... Since they were both contacted by Fenrir.

Throwing Fenrir's plan in, and both the NJLU and the villians knowing what he's going to do, it seems to me that (don't choke) everyone would band together to get rid of Fenrir and then finish their fight later, or there will be no later. They don't have to like it, but Fenrir can make the whole NJLU against "villains" a moot point.

Also, considering what Fenrir plans, I think he needs a bio, powers and weaknesses listed. I don't think he does...

Bio: Fenrir and Sacer were always two halves of the same whole and when Sacer fell into darkness Fenrir followed suit. The result is the monstrosity now.

That is, of course, unless she is demonic/ black magic user. So that means he would probably attack Sacer with little talk, except for the 1st time they meet.

Speaking of first time Guardian meets someone, I'm trying to figure out a good time to introduce him to another character. Any ideas? The thought of finding Sacer in Mexico came to me, but I dunno if he should do that, considering he's not near the border. But, I may do that :p

So any ideas would be welcome :D

Well Fenrir and Sacer will be going on a rampage through Mexico so it's going to be all over the news I imagine. Wouldn't be too hard to have your character fly over and meet him.

It is going to be hard trying to plant explosives inside of the NJLU. There are a lot of other heroes besides the one's that are mentioned in this RPG in the tower. There is always superheroes in the Watchtower and usually a bunch of workers in the Hall of Justice. Ever since that Cadmus mess the NJLU became really cautious.

Hahahahaha! My hubby must have skipped work and crashed at your place. I have foam ear plugs now. Smacking him and yelling at him and trying to roll him over just doesn't work for more that 1 minute! And I had a deadly migraine last night. I had to stab that damned 1.5" needle full of pretty dangerous med into my leg, after taking antimigraine medication... blah blah blah... So his snoring was like an earthquake!

I skipped 3 weeks of college in a row when I was there. (I partied too much... nightly... and had to sleep until after 3pm or I'd die!) I had all upper level classes and got all A's and B's. :D

Even last year, I considered finishing my degree at home, and took a class and actually did 1/3 semester at a time. In one afternoon at the end I did 1/3semester reading, 1/3 semester lectures on tape, 1/3 semester notes AND final exam all in a matter of hours. It was my highest A of all 3 semesters. Not that I condone that. But things are fresh in your mind if you do it all at once. I used to do that w/advanced Econ classes... 1/3 semester in one day, over beers at the pub on campus while listening to my walkman... all day. Then my fiends said, "Come out for a while", around late afternoon... Then it was... "Stay out 'till bartime..." So, I get home @ 3am and have my exam at 8am. Two hours of sleep. I was going to skip it, I was so hung over. (I have no gag reflex, so I don't vomit when I drink, I have to process ALL of it through my body.) I went, got an A. Went home and had a 2 day hangover.

OK... down to business...:rolleyes: :p Since Sid vicious;) plans to destroy ALL humanity, I would assume that includes Enertro and Dia. I thought he threw away his loyalty to them. This is why I thought it would be cool if that was his intention, that the Guardian would teach Dia White Magic, regardless of her alliance, as Sid is the scourge of the world, and any help would be... uhhh... helpful? :rolleyes: I was sort of hoping Dia and the Guardian would get along even though they have different views. I don't see "villians" and "good guys". I see people, all who think they are doing the right thing, only through different means. Except Sid who destroys everything. The "villians" (I don't like that word) truly believe the NJLU is a threat, especially after seeing what QS did, and believe that Enertro and Dia ruling the world will make it run smoothly. Oh, I'm not saying they're not bad guys, etc., however, I think I like the idea of a grey area.

Dia is loyal to her friends, including Sacer, unless he has truly become a being intent on destroying all humanity. That is not Enertro's goal... it's to rule humanity and get rid of all the corrupt gov'ts and then there will be only one corrupt gov't. :p

I really wanted a connection between Dia and the Guardian, AND Dia and Sacer, if possible.

Also, I was hoping to come up w/a char that is a White Angel in Heaven, whom with the Guardian consults, if it's OK w/ Woosh.

We have a lot of angelic characters already. What is your main purpose in creating this character? Do you want it so that you can get the Guardian to teach Dia white magic?

I like the idea of the white angel in heaven. May help provide background info on Guardian :p (speaking of smilies...or more like seeing the smileys, is anyone else's smileys in different order? lol)

I was thinking, if we go with Guardian teaching Diaphanous white magic, they would meet randomly somewhere, Diaphanous seeing the angel would ask to be trained somehow, Guardian would be reluctant, but give in (maybe with the help of the heaven angel), but he'll have no idea Diaphanous is connected with Enertro and Sacer, until perhaps the final battle, or if Sacer finds them teaching one day, or Enertro realizes that Guardian is part of the NJLU.

What different types of white magic are there? I know there are healing, supportive and protective spells in the stories. I don't know of any other types.

I was thinking of coming up w/an angel char.? Possibly a REAL angel, who communicates with the Guardian... How does that sound for a 2nd char?
She wouldn't participate in fights so much as be an advisor. As an angel, she'd be a godmod char, so just someone that communicates with the Guardian. What do you think, Woosh, since I need another char.?


I really like the idea of the celestial figures. Perhaps we could find someway to link all three of these angel-types together. I think that your angel character should be an actual character in the story like Sacer and the Guardian. I think that she should be the third and final angel. She won't be a godmod character if you make her correctly. No character is a godmod unless the character does things it can't do and ignores its weakness. Both of the two angels that exist now are on the same scale as the rest of the superheroes. All of the characters have advantages and disadvantages over each other. Let's just bounce ideas of each other okay. Then when we find something that you really like and I like too your angel will be in the RP. :)

I was looking for some good, somewhat original full names fit for an angel and Guardian, but all I could find were names from already made Angels and the few name generators I visited gave me names that were more like "Blah" if you catch my drift lol. When he came back he came back in his true form. The fallen angel. Now the other two chosen angels have realized what happened. What do you guys think of that quick synopsis?

Alucard used Decimus to open the gates of hell. The key being a half angel/half demon and during the battle Reave and Fenrir were seperated; without his demonic half Reave locked himself in hell and this sacrifice revealed his true angelic form. However Alucard 'piggybacked' as the angel cut out of hell and Sacer sacrificed himself rather than risking being overwhelmed he killed himself.

I know what I want my angel's name to be! Fortuna! It's part of the name of a latin song, and Fortuna is Italian for "Fortune".

Bit you didn't come up w/my powers, if necessary. If she's an advisor, fine, if we want her as an active char, I think, again, that objects going through her would cause no damage, like Dia.

Physical objects going straight through her is okay. She needs to be able fight. She is not going to have all of Diaphanous's powers, right? It is either light powers or darkness powers? White magic or black magic? Nothing else. Is she going to be of the light or of the darkness?

She needs a weapon that represents her. Perhaps a bow and arrow or a sword. I see her as being a very elegant character.

I am going to add more to the book. I have a couple ideas running around in my head. Haze is going to find a incomplete version of it. I don't know how much I am going to include in it though. I think that this book should be kept between the three angel characters and Haze. No other characters should get a peek at the book.

He is your character. Do whatever you want. Make your character into a rogue. Send him back up to the Watchtower. Have him eventually, but no time soon meet Omino and learn to control his photokinetics better. I know you can think of something.

I don't know what powers are considered light magic. Some similar to the guardian and I'm not sure what else. I haven't thought about it. (I slept all day and likely won't be on until tomorrow.)

As far as a weapon... an elegant Nihonto, (Katana) Diamond blades unbreakable, and always sharp, encrusted with diamonds down the center. And, my favorite addition... double edged, and splits into two Nihonto. :D

How is that? It would glimmer and reflect light because of all the diamonds.

I believe Fortuna is also the latin word, as the entire "Oh Fortuna" song is in Latin, and the words are "fortuna".

You know, I think the ability to control weather might be nice for Fortuna too. Cause you know in the movies or something, when theres a drought and all of a sudden a massive storm that gives people water, some people say "Thank God!" Or "Fortune is smiling upon us!" or "Darn it! There goes the neighborhood!" (haha jk!)

Or if theres a hurricane, and it diverts it's course, and floats harmlessly towards the ocean...

You know, that kinda stuff!

I don't think so... I think the angels should be able to read the others, but not vice versa. And if you approve, I want Dia to be able to block others from reading her mind, now that Fenrir can do it, and Haze can do it not only for himself, but for others... I'd like that to be a new ability that she acquired. It isn't as if she would be the only one...

With Fenrir you can break into his mind. Haze can block his and other people mind's from anyone only for short lapses of time. That is about 20 minutes each time. And then after the 20 minutes if the person is able to break into Haze's mind they can read him. Do you like the idea of Dia being able to do what I do with Haze?

Yes... I want Dia to be able to block her mind from being read for periods of time.

The ability is all yours. She won't be able to hold it any longer than about five minutes at first but then the time period will get longer and longer. :)

Fenrir can't read minds anymore, not after his "fall" with Sacer. I posted his stats earlier, he's more or less a four legged tank.

I am going to post the first half of the Truimvirate here also. I think it is appropriate for everyone to see the predication. The second half will be posted here later.

And God created three divine spirits to rule over man and creation after the mourning star. Holy, Law, and Fortune were the three angels created to protect the innocent from the Devil's wrath. Holy is the slayer and hunter of god's enemies. Law guarantees stability among mankind and the angels themselves. Fortune grants miracles and hope to mankind. It is Holy's ultimate fate to fall into darkness after slaying a great evil. Law and Fortune will battle against Holy in a time known as the Advent Apocalypse. Events taking place in this time period are pre cursors to judgment day and the grand arbitration.

Holy, Law, and Fortune will have a great battle. Holy will defeat both, but fall to them in the third battle. Law and Fortune will then raise their blades to the sky and the Celestial Light from Heaven will come down. Holy will repent and the Celestial Light will enter him giving him a new wing of white. The Light would then return to Heaven. Holy now having a wing of black and a wing of white will join the other two angels and cast all of the darkness out of his body.

2. Don't leave your work open on the desktop unsaved
3. Don't let hallmates use your comp with your work open
4. Don't be afraid to throw heavy objects at said person for erasing 5 pages of pure genius.

I've had a freakish weekend and have been unable to get online. Illin', no sleep, and an old old friend came over for the day yesterday... She did something awful while she was here. I didn't sleep last night either.

I don't like the golden dragon. Perhaps a different animal will suit her better. Maybe a phoenix or eagle. No breathing fire, ice, lightning or wind. How about if the phoenix-eagle-dragon thing emits sonic waves. The blinding light is perfect for her. Doesn't need telekinesis. All of her abilities are already extremely inhanced. I like the hypnotism, healing and controling all of the weather. She cannot be an omnikinetic. There is only one omnikinetic per realm . I like the shape shifting and the being able to phase through objects. (Seems like you took an ability from everyone. :) ) Cannot be immune to everyone's telepathy. How about we add teleportation to her? She can keep the inhuman speed and strength. All of her powers should be on par with Sacer and Otium. They are all pretty much equal. What do you think of my edits? She still is more powerful than all of the humans.

Oh yeah about the picture. There is no cone-thing on her head. It is just a wing.

It is not a must for Kid Flash and Omino to meet soon. It will happen eventually but I don't think it is time yet. Find something else for Kid Flash to do. Let him experiment with his powers more. Make him into more of a villian or more of a hero. Just play with his character traits.

Thank you for your comments and I appreciate the chance. In case people haven't yet voted 'no', my character does of course have some weaknesses, which I had neglected to mention:

Electricity - Can disrupt Hatman's power for a short time making him less effective.

Radiation - High levels have a more drastic effect on his power than electricity.

The H'Kai Sceptre - Centuries ago, the evil Warlord Tak'a-Tamen challenged to rule of the Xenphian Dynasty and sought to claim power for himself. The H'kai Sceptre is a weapon, which easily matches Hatman's Soul Sai in strength and power. After the fall of Tak'a-Tamen and the Xenphian Dynasty, the H'kai Sceptre was taken to a hidden place where it has since remained buried.

There's a lot of sub plots. Trying to summerize the entire story would be nothing short of five pages. :)

The two main plots are:
The World War
The Angels

Each one is divided amongst each character who in turn has their own sub plots. Sacer's alone is a migraine and a half.

Right now all the characters are roaming around Los Angeles setting up for the final battle.

As well as Adam Hunt/Hatman, there are three other supporting characters who all work with Adam. Here is a general description of each one for reference:

Adam Hunt/Hatman:

Born in England and a recent immigrant to America, Adam has always felt drawn toward New York for no explicable reason. His mother died when he was very young and since that time has regarded the baseball cap she had given him as a good luck charm. His father funded Adam’s move to New York after begging his associate, Casey Ashton to take him on as a helper/runner at the New York City Television station. Since then Adam has tried his best at the NYC TV news station despite the different lifestyle and condescending remarks from most of the staff. He spent the first night touring the city and became caught up in a mugging, which led to his discovery of the mysterious soul sai. The soul of the Xenphian princess guided Adam to cross the soul sai, which converted his baseball cap into a source of power and he became the mighty warrior of Xenphia. After his heroic actions against the criminal element, the public soon came to know him as Hatman.

Alison McGill:

An ambitious news reporter, Alison is well recognised in New York and hopes to one day make it into the big news networks. She started out similar to Adam as a runner for the station and worked her way up to where she is now. However along the way Alison felt that she was being held back and even betrayed by her colleagues and so adopted a similar selfish attitude in order to succeed. Although there are other reporters at the station, Alison is regarded as Casey’s favourite who then treated her as such with a raise and preferential treatment, much to the irritation to the other workers. Alison will go after any story especially if it is likely to be an exclusive no matter the risk and has on many occasions gotten herself into trouble as a result.

Casey Ashton:

A veteran of the Korean War, Casey Ashton left the US military to become a civilian reporter for the NYC TV news station. His years of military training and mentality means that he has a fierce sense of loyalty and dedication, which got him quickly promoted through the ranks all the way to Station Manager. He runs the station as though it were a military boot camp and treats his staff in much the same manner. This earned him great respect by his peers as well as a reputation for demanding efficiency. On the surface he is a ruthless leader who puts the need for a great story above anything else, but underneath Casey does have a heart although he rarely shows this side of himself to anyone.

Mike Pindel:

Although he holds a position with the top executives of the station, Mike mainly spends his time as the studio floor manager and occasionally goes out with Alison as the cameraman when she does outside live broadcasts. Mike is best described as a snivelling coward who puts on a macho front in order to impress Alison and the rest of the female population of New York. His selfish ambitions mean that he cares for little else but himself and would not see a problem walking over people to attain his objectives. Mike has openly shown almost prejudiced contempt for Adam and happily mocks him because of his British heritage. He even tried to get Adam fired from the station when he wrongly assumed he was after Alison. Mike’s executive position gives him an over-inflated ego as he knows he can worm his way out of trouble.

Although there are other reporters at the station, Alison is regarded as Casey’s favourite who then treated her as such with a raise and preferential treatment, much to the irritation to the other workers. Alison will go after any story especially if it is likely to be an exclusive no matter the risk and has on many occasions gotten herself into trouble as a result.

Casey Ashton:

A veteran of the Korean War, Casey Ashton left the US military to become a civilian reporter for the NYC TV news station. His years of military training and mentality means that he has a fierce sense of loyalty and dedication, which got him quickly promoted through the ranks all the way to Station Manager. He runs the station as though it were a military boot camp and treats his staff in much the same manner. This earned him great respect by his peers as well as a reputation for demanding efficiency. On the surface he is a ruthless leader who puts the need for a great story above anything else, but underneath Casey does have a heart although he rarely shows this side of himself to anyone.

Mike Pindel:

Although he holds a position with the top executives of the station, Mike mainly spends his time as the studio floor manager and occasionally goes out with Alison as the cameraman when she does outside live broadcasts. Mike is best described as a snivelling coward who puts on a macho front in order to impress Alison and the rest of the female population of New York. His selfish ambitions mean that he cares for little else but himself and would not see a problem walking over people to attain his objectives. Mike has openly shown almost prejudiced contempt for Adam and happily mocks him because of his British heritage. He even tried to get Adam fired from the station when he wrongly assumed he was after Alison. Mike’s executive position gives him an over-inflated ego as he knows he can worm his way out of trouble.

The IC thread is the thread marked NJLU- World War III: Battle of the Giants. The Truimvirate will give you the story of the angels and if you go back to about the third or fourth page of the OOC thread you will see the main plot of the story. It is basically the World Governments vs. the NJLU. It will be easy to catch onto. I think that your character should somehow be contacted by the NJLU. I don't know how though.

lol :) . Hatman was something I wrote many many years ago when I was at school. It wasn't until the other thread when I updated him. Since then I've sometimes wondered whether to publish it.

Without Fenrir or the gril Sacer is slowly going to go completely berserk.

Side note: Brahms, Alucard, Damien, and Hrist aren't going to be involved but they're pretty important in Sacer's backstory.

Sorry to hear that Lup... Hopefully it won't be anything serious. My mom had one in her upper arm the size of a banana and it was nothing serious or malignant. I have a tumor in my brain (pineal gland), and it's benign and has not grown over the years... (I get a lovely MRI of the brain every year... gotta love when they lock your head in an unmovable hockey mask and then stick you in an uberloud coffin for 45 minutes...:p ) BTW, it does NOT affect my personality or thinking or anything else, it's as if it wasn't there... so I'm just normally this weird. :D

I have noticed something similar. I generally turn my notifications off but I still get the occasional email.??? :eek:

I hope your tumor is benign, Luporum. My mom had fibroid tumors or something like that. She is okay but those things took a tole on her. She lost a lot of weight.

These wings can act as extra appendages or chains. His wings can also change form into his regular wings or as some sort of clothing for him lol.
