Breathing deeply, Elektra slowly opened her eyes from what could be akin to a long human slumber. Around her, vision had been blurred not enough to recognize her surroundings, but all the same, she knew. D'na Apollo, indeed she was at home in her most familar environenment. And some figures, human figures...
"Welcome to the world, Elektra v Two Point Zero," came a deep male voice. "How are your base functions running?"
Elektra blinked and instantly a natural answer came to her lips, "All functions are running normally." She looked down at her hands, metallic fingers. "What is this?"
The man smiled, Elektra's eyes now adjusting to the light and able to see almost clearly. "Welcome to your new avatar. Scientists have been busy, amongst the mess at home." His eyes, they seem so familar. "I am confident that you will be pleased, actually. New capabilities and strengths and all."
"... And my organic form?" asked Elektra, her voice having a extra-surreal sound to it, yet sounding somewhat normal all the same. "Where is exactly is that? That was a gift, you know."
The man chuckled, "Never fear, Madam Elektra. We have stored the organic body in a safe place. You will be able to access it at any time. And you will understand everything as soon as we finish." He paused and smiled friendly-like. "Now, shall we continue through the last phases?"
She looked at him blankly, not exactly knowing what it was he meant. "Uhh..." she stammered, only being able to muster a nod out of herself. Out of... this avatar. At least she was semi-sentient still; she had no idea what they had been doing with herself, or her core for that matter.
Entering a few commands on a nearby console, her mind began to race and fill with new information. The past few months, the past few years; what had been but a void of information until now was filled to the brim with new things. Facts, figures, statistics; her conciousness it seemed had been uploaded from the beginning. But... over the course of the last few years her memory had not been filled. She remembered the fall of the Blue Administration... and then... her mind, it flashes from second to second. Instantly her personal memory gains the ability to "remember" the rise of Wolfgang Milano and the New Orderists. Under the banner and goals of the National Vision, her mind filled with millions upon millions of images, news articles from around the known world, and various communications which had been sent back and forth. And then one thing, the recent history of D'na Apollo and the Planet Mercury. The succession of Sketch over what had been the former Rogue Battalions of the CSF. And the lack of the emergance of a 'Mercury Administration', which had in fact been brought up by the Tiburonese, so that they might solidify said relations between Sanctuary City, The Caloris Basin, and D'na Apollo itself.
Such a void of information had been filled. And Elektra v2.0 was complete.
