Kingsbury, capital city of Schiavonia, has officially announced it's bid to host the first ever Summer Olympics under the banner of the NSOC.
While the nation itself only has a short sporting history, the Schiavone government have gethered a team to put together the bid with both experience and enthusiasm. The experience comes from the same people who helped put together Druida and Krytenia's bid to host World Cup 24, while the enthusiasm comes from the Schiavones themselves.
As long as there's no golf involved. The NSPGA, formerly a Schiavone entity, have been homeless for a number of months, now, with nobody willing to take them on. Anyway, as golf isn't an Olympic sport, we should be alright there.
The general thought behind the bid is togetherness, between Schiavonia's forty-six islands, as well as between all the nations of the World.
Indeed, it will also encourage togetherness between hosts. Because, quite frankly, there are so many events to be held, it would make it a hell of a lot easier (and more likely that the games will tick along at a decent pace) if we get some help.
In this case, if Kingsbury's bid is successful, we will invite all those who have had a bid rejected and have proven themselves worthy to the Olympic Organisation of the Forty-six Islands (OOFI) through being active and willing in the NSOC to help out in the scorination process.
OOFI are currently working on an easy to use Excel spreadsheet for use in the games, and even if the bid proves unsuccessful, the chances are that the scorinator will be kept on for a second attempt to host the games.
As for locations, the centerpiece will be the historic 63,000 seat King Francesco Stadium.

Other locations around Kingsbury are also already in place should the games come to Kingsbury, including Kingsbury Rock, which would hold the Triathlon, Sailing and Canoe/Kayak, and the Royal Multihall Theatre, an indoor arena with numeorous rooms that would be well suited to hosting a number of sports.
New locations in the country would be Aquatics Stadium Schiavonia (ASS) and the Velodrome di Schiavonia.
More details about the bid will emerge once it gets into motion, but that's pretty much the basics for now.
We thank you for reading, and hope that the best bid wins.
