A joint venture between Fodist and DPUOist industries, MechaWalrus Co., has recently concluded research on developing a Mecha Walrus. The mecha Walrus, desgined for use in warfare of any kind, is expected to be made available to exclusive markets sometime in the near future. Mecha Walrus Co. is speaking privately with various market representatives. A Fodist Doctor, with a Doctorate, which is placed on a wall polished neatly and squared reading 'Doctorate,' released the following statement.

"Mecha Walrus Co. has concluded research on Mecha Walrus Technology, and we're moving foward with developing a prototype. DPUO scientists, jointly with Fod scientists, have modeled this Mecha Walrus after the naturally occuring Walrus. The organic functions have been replicated, from the Bonsai Walrus Death Beam to the Walrus Lightning. While there have been arguments over the origin of Walrus Lightning in the naturally occurring Walrus, the Mecha Walrus prototype is functioning with an Ivory Reactor with Scruff Stabilization."

The Klatch is expected to become heavily involved in development.

In a statement today, CEO Floyd Lloyd of Lloyd's Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (who built the MechaWalrus's electircal equipment) said: "This is a great achievement for both DPUO and Fod, a machine of unparalleled beauty, grace and tuskiness. The scruff stabilisers alone can hold a 1.5 megavolt charge for up to five minutes with next to no loss, and we're confident that the already high efficiency of the superb Fodian Ivory power unit can be improved to produce even greater power in the Walrus Lightning system. This MechaWalrus represents a magnificent tool, and its military applications have only just been probed!"

Mr. Lloyd was hereupon led from the stage, muttering indecipherable imprecations against various nations, most notably France.
